The Sun was blazing as the day continued, out in the front of the Farm's Homestead property were several large containers that squealed with the sound of pigs, clacked with the small hooves of goats, and the most popular animals requested, chickens. Standing beside the three large containers were Dixon and Dixie as they waited patiently as they stared at the far front end of the property where they would see Susanna coming from.

"Are you guys okay in there?" Dixon asked.

"I'm managing" Rubble said from inside the Chicken container.

"A bit hard to move" Chase commented, being inside the containers with the goats.

"Its smells terrible in here, Why did I have to be with the pigs" Rocky complained, the last container being with one with the pigs. "Im sorry Rocky, Just hold out until you get to the slaughterhouse. From the Farm, it shouldnt be too long of a drive" Dixie replied.

The containers were built sturdy and tough, wooden planks with removable entry ways and small holes in the top for air flow. For Rocky however, the air flow wasnt enough to filter out the terrible smells. Dixie and Dixon looked at the front of the property to see what they had been waiting on, A large white truck, chipped and worn but still very much usable. Behind it was a van, white in colour and obviously smaller. "Here she comes guys, This is it" Dixon replied just enough for them to hear. Chase, Rocky, and Rubble let it sink in, they were willingly going into the belly of the beast and they had no clue what was to come out of it.

The white truck with the wide load came fast through the dusty driveway through the property, slowly coming to a halt as it was just few feet away from the containers and the farm cats. The dust it had kicked up settled, and the drives side door opened, There was no distinguishing who it was. "It is quite the long drive I must say, Love me the country air, Sometimes all the concrete buildings in town get to me, you know?" Susanna flicked her shades back as she rubbed up against the both of them, trying to act friendly and casual, but she had left too big of a mark on the two of them to ever try and being friendly.

"Just take the animals and go, You don't have to rub it in our faces" Dixie bit her tongue, although she came off sharp, there was still a lot more she wanted to say to that cat. However speaking her mind wasnt the goal in this scenario. "Well excuse me for taking out some of my own stress, I know it must be hard harbouring dogs from the Sheriff's Department and putting up with their antics over your own kind. Like I said before, Im willing to keep this little secret on the down low so long as business continues" Susanna stated, brushing up close to each of the crates of animals, smelling them to get their scent.

Dixie and Dixon both cringed as they remembered Susanna's knack for a dog's smell, thinking if she sniffed out Chase, Rocky, and Rubble hiding in each of the containers, they would be done for. Fortunately for them, whatever hint of dog was too faint enough to be noticed compared to the very strong smell of farm animals. "When will I expect the other animals..." Susanna persisted.

"Sometime soon in the future, We just want to hold onto them for a little longer. You know, Get as much milk from the cows as we can" Dixon claimed, getting a strong nod from his sister. Susanna eyed the two of them before turning away with a shrug. "Hmph" She scoffed, either thinking it was a good enough excuse or she wasnt in the mood to get hostile like last time again.

Until...

Susanna stopped dead in her tracks whilst she was turned away from the two siblings, her claws unsheathed and dug into the loose dirt below. "Theres a lot of things...That I hate...One of those things...Is a Liar" She huffed in between each statement. Dixon felt his heart beat twice as fast the flashback of Susanna's sharp claws scarping across his face. "Liars are bad for business, a thorn in my side, They set back everything, and thats not even the worst part"

"What is?" Dixie asked. See Susanna etch closer and closer to the front container of the chicken container. "They always try and hide!" She exclaimed loudly, throwing her paws up against the front hinge of the chicken container, letting the container slam open, its door swung all the way around until it slammed against the side of the crate. Rubble's heart stopped, there was a mass of chickens concealing him against her.

Rubble's stomach was pressed down against the floor of the large crate, he felt the soft mushy texture of...well...chicken excrement against him. He cringed at the smell and fell as he peaked through the constant moving of chickens around him to see Susanna, looking around the container for any sign of something suspicious. Without further notice, Susanna had taken a step inside the container, this was terrible to Rubble. If Rubble was found out, this plan would be dead in the water before it really kicked off, not to mention Dixie and Dixon taking the force force of the consequences for lying to Susanna. The bulldog had to think fast, looking around before coming to an effect, sneaky, but absolutely disgusting conclusion.

Susanna tilted and twisted her head around the inner part of the container, trying to spot anything out of the ordinary, suddenly she had flung herself back when she had felt a splash of chicken poop splash against her face, the dark muddy and certainly stinky slop mashed into her fur as she stumbled back away from the front entrance of the container and fell back onto the open dirt. Susanna's workers all stopped in shock as they stared at her, some avoided eye contact and some tried to hide their own snicker of laughter that slowly crept up on them. Dixon was the first to break, emitting chocking sounds as he covered his muzzle with his paw, a wide smile and almost a tear of laughter as he tried to hold it in. "They tend...to...do that, You got a little something...on your face" Dixie had trouble holding her laughter as each word she spoke she stopped herself.

"SHUT UP!" Susanna shouted with rage, whipping off most of the chicken poop from her face, but smudges and smears still remained, she huffed with anger as she paced to the chicken container again, not to check it again, but to slam it shut with brute force. "LOAD IT UP AND LETS GO" She concluded with a furious shout, walking back to the vehicles, refusing to look anyone in the eye no longer. Dixie paced up the chicken container and looked inside via the many holes along the walls. "Good work" She whispered, directing her praise toward Rubble.

It was difficult to see, but she could see the bulldog's paw flip up in a wave like gesture just as the container was hooked onto and lifted by many cats that worked for Susanna. Dixie walked up to the other containers and secretly and discretely wished them all good luck, for sure they were going to need it. Within minutes all of Susanna's cat workers had hoisted up all the three containers into the vans and trucks. Dixon and Dixie both stood side by side as they watched the vehicles take away the crates that unbeknownst to them held inside Chase, Rocky, and Rubble. There was nothing much the two feline siblings could say instead of wishing for the best.

The roads were rough, and the drive felt like an eternity as bump after bump made the three all the more uncomfortable. Knocking up against the livestock they were already squeezed up against. It was this time they were at the Pinnacle of what they didn't know was coming, there was no telling of horrors were awaiting once they were unloaded.

Rocky tried to peep out one of the holes that was carved into his container of farm animals, he could barely keep still with the rocking of the truck and with it being dark, it was hard to tell what was going on outside even they all felt the trucks sharp right turns and left turns. It was only when the truck started to slow down almost to a complete stop that they realized they had arrived at the slaughterhouse. Although Chase, Rocky, and Rubble were separated by crates. If they were together they would be looking at each other, seeing if one was ready. Suddenly, the back of the truck got brighter as the back shudders of the trucks swung open. It was the sun light that peered into the back of the trailer and through the small holes of the crates.

"Unload the animals and then chain them for later, We'll begin the processing sometime in the afternoon. After everything is done, Downstairs" Susanna spoke, her tone frustrated and annoyed. No wonder as she was splashed with a face full of chicken poop. All the dogs could hear in retort was 'yes ma'am' and 'mhms'. Apart from that, It was about time they were going to be found out.

"Uhhh, Which one do we start with first?"

"Not sure, She didnt really specify. I guess the pigs first" The cat workers spoke back and forth, Rocky's eyes shot wide as he heard they were starting with his own first. Rocky sank down to the floor of the container as he heard the lock on his own being rattled with and broken off, one cat gently pulled open the container, seeing nothing out of the ordinary as he stepped back to let the pigs walk out. No words were said as one by one each pig walked out of the container, unbeknownst to them this was a house of death for them. Rocky bit down on his teeth as he knew it was now or never, Without warning, Rocky jumped out of the small herd of pigs and at the nearest cat. The feline was completely taken by surprise, being knocked back for his other fellow work friends to take notice.

"Dog!" One shouted, running for the nearest weapon. A handle saw to try and fight back. Rocky didnt want to go out of his way for violence, turning back to the other containers to see if he could somehow free his friends. He tried all he could in a fit of panic, he tried pulling and biting, but he couldnt break solid metal all on his own.
Rocky ducked just in time, letting a handle saw bounce right of the edge of the container where his head was originally, Rocky dashed backwards to confront other cats who were all too ready just as the first cat, weapons they had pulled from nearby to give a fighting chance, plus their inherit sharp claws above all else. Rocky tried to turn back but the floor's friction was just too wet and slippery for his paws to let him stop.

Not wet with cleaning, but instead the faint spill of animal blood along everywhere to notice.

Rocky couldnt stop as his body slid like a high speed bowling ball, some cats got out of the way, and other weren't as fast. Getting hit by Rocky's body as they slid along the floor. Some cat went flying in the air and some shot right across the floor to hit their body or head on something metal, knocking them out cold. Rocky felt his whole body ache as he looked up to see a cat, incoming with a butcher knife. Getting up quickly and darting right at the cat in a game of chicken. The cat taken aback by the dog's newfound courage, tried to stop himself as Rocky plowed right into him, sending him to the side and hitting a metal counter and fall limp. Rocky ran right to the goat container, knowing Chase was inside and he could surely put a better fight than he could.

"Dont move, I-I'll shoot if you do!" Rocky heard from behind him, seeing a cat with an attached nail gun aimed right at him. The cat looked unsure of his own actions, even if Rocky did move, he wasnt sure he was willing to do it. "Alright Alright, I wont move" Rocky stood still as he watched the cat, continuously stare at him, watching for any sudden movements.

"Let me out already!" Chase shouted suddenly from inside the crate, the sudden noise of the new voice made the cat jump in surprise, accidentally also firing the nail gun once. Rocky knew what was coming and flinched, ducking his head down just as the nail gun fired. It's silent poof and nail flight straight through the air slamming into the crate's lock. Rocky looked back in surprised as he saw the lock fall right off, the container's door slide right open and out jumped the furious German Shepherd, the cat was petrified at the sight and ran away in the other direction.

Chase came out growling, looking around to see the slaughterhouse and the numerous cats down on the ground unconscious or groaning in pure agonizing pain from Rocky's fortunate circumstances. "Nice work Rocky, We cant stay long, look around for the captured dogs while I free Rubble" Chase said, turning back to let out the British bulldog out. Rocky nodded and turned to scavenge all around the slaughterhouse's interior. There was gruesome things you would find, strung up carcasses of farm animals and pools of stained blood that leaked down into a large drainage system, nothing out of the ordinary, but no trace of dogs anywhere.

"This is super odd, They should all be here somewhere" Rocky spoke, refused to speak of the possible out come that might have happened. "Did they get killed and dumped somewhere else?"

"I-I wouldnt think that, but I wouldnt put it past them if thats Susanna's intention. Just keep looking" Chase spoke, trying break to off the weak lock that keep Rubble inside the chicken container. Rocky continued on, he saw stairs that lead up to an open platform that lined along the concrete walls of the slaughterhouse. Rocky ran up the stairs but carefully seeing as there was railing to keep himself from falling off. Along the platform was numerous windows to bent outward into the open air, Rocky continued to keep looking along the railing before suddenly spotting something out of the corner of his eye out the window.

It wasnt the dogs, but his curiosity was peaked. Hearing the sound of a lough car engine rumbling beyond the bushed and trees. He leaned himself up against the window, trying to squint and see what exactly it was, then the sound had stopped. Afterwards, Rocky had seen the bushes rustle and move, what came walking out he couldnt believe. It was a human, looking both ways as if he was being watched as he made a brisk dash for the side of the building, a human he knew all too well.

"Lou" he muttered as he ducked down away from clear view of the window. Running back down the stairs back to Chase and Rubble who had just gotten out. "Ughh, Im going to need to take multiple baths when we get back to the Homestead" Rubble muttered as they both saw the mixed breed, sprinting toward them with fear. "Guys, We need to get out of here, Hes here!" Rocky explained in one huff of a statement. "Woah calm down Rocky, Who's 'he'?" The german shepherd asked.

"Lou, I saw him outside, We need to go before he finds us here. I dont think he'll fall as easily as these cats" Rocky's wise prediction stunned Chase, this forward plan was going down in flames each minute, first no dogs in sight, and now Lou was here for God knows what. "O-Okay, W-We should ummm, Uhhh we uhhh-" Chase stuttered, cracking under the pressure of being defacto leader of the small group. "Im not sticking around for this, Im leaving!"

Rubble jumped down from the back of the truck, running head on before just like Rocky before, his paws lost traction on the wet floor and began to slide fast. Rubble seeing he was heading into a box tray on wheels, he tried to stop himself, but ultimately failing, slamming right into it. Letting the cabinets break outwards, letting raw metal spill out at Rubble's paws as the bulldog sat still dazed and dizzy from the hit on the head. "Rubble, you okay?" Both his friends rushed over to see if he was in piece.

"Y-Yeah, My Brain feels like its in multiple pieces like a pizza, but I'll be fine" Rubble rubbed his head with his paws as he got back onto all fours. "Wait, look at this guys" Rocky called over, moving over the box tray to the side, revealing what looked to be...a door. Painted the same way the walls were to perfectly conceal it. It's handle was painted the same way and everything too. "Good job Rubble, you found a secret door" Chase ruffled his friend's fur in a sign of well done.

"I did, I-I mean, I did, yup, all me, totally meant to slam into that box tray because I saw that wall looked suspicious" Rubble claimed, Both Rocky and Chase looked at each other, knowing that was nothing but their friend feeding his own ego, but there was no time to correct him on that right now. "Welp, I've got a feeling the dogs are here after all" Rocky said, standing up on his hind legs and pulling down the handle with his paws, with that, it slowly swung outward, revealing a dark stairway.

All three wasting no time and making their way down the stairs, walking down the twisting downward spiral of stairs that clutch to the stone broken walls, there were rails, but they had been so neglected of a good cleaning that none of them even wanted to touch them. "This is strange, I dont like it" Rocky spoke silently, his echoed going down through the tight stairwell. "With any luck, We find the dogs, unlock whatever is keeping them in, run out, and destroy this place while we're at it" Chase summarized the plan, feeling as if that hidden door wasnt the worst obstacle they were going to face yet.

Once at the bottom of the stairs, it was a tight hallway. A hallway that reminded Rubble of the ones back in the prison that they had escaped on the mountain. Except this one was far dirtier and more dirty and . The walls were tiled but still stained with a red liquid which judging by the location alone was pretty easy to tell what it was, however there was something odd about it.

"That smell...Thats not any farm animals blood...thats..."

"Dog blood" Rocky finished, the trail along the wall continued, leading to a hole in the wall that was closed off by a grill. All three stared into it with cringe, knowing there was only one fate for dogs down here. "Wait, I think I hear someone coming" Rubble was the first to recognize the steps from behind them, there was only one person that they knew was on their tail, Lou must have noticed the door and was coming down the stairs.

"Quick, in" Chase suggested, lifting open the grill to let Rocky and Rubble go in first" Both the mixed breed and bulldog rushed in, afterward Chase had shuffled in with them, silently closing the grill as they stayed quiet. The steps came closer and slightly loader.
It was indeed Lou, he had walked by without even glancing at the hole with the grill separating it from the hallway. They were too low down to see his face, but they indeed saw his gun in his hand as he walked down the hallway. As he passed, Chase had then tried to open back the grill, only coming to the realization, that it wasnt opening.
"Chase, Hes gone, you can let us out now"

"Im...Trying" Chase grunted in between his words, using all of his strength to open back the grill same way he closed it, but it was closed shut. Suddenly, without warning, the ground they were closed into gave way, separating apart and making them fall. Falling for a few short seconds as they felt the touch of solid ground, however they didnt stop, instead they slid at an angle down the thin tube that they were now falling down, now turning into a slope so they could pick up speed. Within an instant, they felt the slope turn straight, however it didnt take much time for them to realize as they were thrown out of the tube back onto the floor.

All three slammed against each other as they came to a sliding halt along the floor, the looked around, it was dim and poorly lit. However, they could clearly see the outlines of others crowding around them to see who these dogs were. It only took the three friends a few seconds to realize they had found what they were looking for, these others who were crowding around them were in fact dogs, the missing and captured dogs. "Oh no, Three more" One dog muttered, full of worry and fear as he looked directly at the german shepherd. "Please whatever God is up there, I dont want to face off against the german shepherd" One dog pleaded with his head raised to the low dirty ceiling with his eyes closed.

"Face off?" Rocky asked as he got to his paws, looking around, seeing there were far more dogs than he had originally thought. "Yes, how did they get you?" A border collie asked, stepping forward. "Uhhh, We uhhh, Came here ourselves...to rescue all of you" The German shepherd explained, thinking the dogs would atleast be grateful or happy, instead they didnt even take it as a joke, more so they shook their heads. "There is no escape, and you were an idiot to come here thinking so" Another dog spoke from somewhere in the crowd.

"B-but, we could..." Chase spoke before there was a wave of cheers from behind the dogs. Chase, Rocky, and Rubble were caught off guard from the shouts, as oppose to the other dogs who just turned their heads in less of a surprise, as if they had grown used to it. The three dogs paced closer to where the cheers came from, thinking something was wrong, those cheers sounded like...joy, and glee, elation more like. It didnt fit the atmosphere of where they were. After walking up only a few seconds, They saw the thin chain wiring that acted a fence to keep the dogs in.

Through it, was a sight one would only have to see to believe. The fencing came around and made a full 360 circle, there were other dogs on the other side which Chase could theoretically walk to if he wanted to, up above which was directly above the dogs, were numerous cats, still cheering and throwing their paws in admiration. It didnt take much to look for to know what they were cheering for, in the middle of what looked like a miniature version of the Rome Coliseum, the flooring was dust and sand, where there stood two dogs.

One dog on the floor on his side, still and covered in blood and vicious wounds. The other dog, exhausted, standing over his fellow dog as he too was covered in blood and wounds. It was clear he had fought him to the death and he was victorious, the dog who was a poodle was torn physically and emotionally, However there was a certain savageness in his eyes, something that didnt look normal. With everything he had seen, Chase knew what this place was.

"The Winner is clear!" One voice shouted from outside the fencing, it was female and familiar for sure. Up near the ceiling of the outside, above the other cats watching the 'action'. Was a platform, on it was the Black female cat herself. "Another grand battle of Dog Fight Club, Lets get right to the next battle shall we" Susanna egged on the crowd, they loved her and her fights that she had put on. With the talk of the next battle, four cats emerging from a gate walked into the center of the battle ground and dragged the deceased dog from out of the center, two more cats grabbed the other fighter with a rope, lassoing it around his neck and dragging him out as well. The poodle swung his head from side to side like a wild animal trying to break free, however one cat would slash the dog with his claws, making him ease up and comply more eventually as he was led out.

All of a sudden, the lights in the entire fighting ring had dimmed dark. From above one large beam of light shined down among the dogs, illuminating each one as it swapped from one dog to the other, making one after the other very visible. Dogs ducked and rolled not to be seen, desperate to remain as if they werent there, and for very good reason. The light shined on Chase, instead of moving back, he turned his head, refusing to look the light dead ahead because of the sheer intensity. "Hmmm, A well fed German Shepherd, This is going to be one to remember folks!" Susanna spoke out, It was clear now.

They were picking their next fighter, and they sure found it. Chase was the perfect one, he was big and strong compared to the other dogs around him that looked more bone than skin. From the gate came three cats, two with rope to seemingly contain Chase until the fighter started, the other one however had some sort of canister with a breather attached fit for a dog's muzzle. Without warning, a square portion of the thin grill lifted up, and the rope was flung around Chase's neck.

Chase tried to back out, he grunted and growled as he tried to fight back, but just like the poodle, one cat slashed his side with his claw, making Chase wince in pain as he was yanked out. The grill was closed shut as his friends were forced to watch as he laid down onto his belly. The one cat with the canister placed the breather around Chase's muzzle.
The clear breather wrapped around his muzzle as the cat that held it down against him press down on the top of the canister, Chase felt a wave of something strange, he smelled in a small cent of it and his heart raced, he felt his muscles tense, his head started to daze, and his thinking became blurred. That poodle must have been hooked on this stuff, they made him more feral, supposed because that would make the fight more 'enjoyable'. Chase held his breath and closed his eyes, refusing to breathe in the gas to cling onto his sane mind.

"I think that's enough, Lets go" One cat stated, and with that, all the three cats released themselves from Chase, running back to the gate and closing it shut, thinking Chase was going to turn violent and tear their fur off. However, The German Shepherd just coughed and gasped for fresh air that didnt make him feral. Chase had to play up to what they wanted, he pranced round the ring, bearing his teeth and giving slight growls making it convincing for the crowd, It seem to work, as the crowd of cats cheered, excited for a nice fight. Chase himself, wasnt so sure, now that he was fully in control of his mind and actions, taking another dog's life was going to be something he couldnt stomach.

"This dog seems like a strong one, We might have to bring out...The Champ!" Susanna spoke out with a loud boom in her voice, echoing the last words for the crowd to hear her. Within an instant, the crowd of cats chanted endlessly "Champ, Champ, Champ, Champ!" The crowd called. Chase looked worried as his big ravaging dog attitude died down, of course they want a good fair fight, Chase was much stronger than the dogs behind the wire. "Chase, you got this, just over power him!" Rocky encouraged.
"I'll try" He muttered back. "Alright, I've always been a cat of the people" She spoke, looking down at Chase with a small remote in her paw. After a click, a small box from the very top, shrouded in darkness started to draw downward to the ground. It was a clear fence cage, inside was a pretty big dog. Well fed like Chase and large in mass just like Chase, The German shepherd backed away in a bit of fear, suddenly Rocky's idea of simply over powering this canine wasnt going to be so easy. However, the biggest shock wasnt his size and observed strength.

Chase eyed his fur and what breed the dog was, It was a Bernese Mountain Dog. It wasnt until the cage touched the ground and its small hinge down loosened that he got a good look at his face. "Brax..." Chase muttered under his breath, It was indeed the Mountain dog that they had left behind back at the prison, too injured to carry on, It seemed Susanna had another value for him down under in her secluded fight club. "C-Chase, No no no no, Chase please, Why did it have to be you, I dont want to do this Chase" Brax pleaded, not wanting to fight his friend that helped him escape.

"You dont have to, They tried to spray me with the gas but it didnt work. Maybe we could do a fake fight, l-like what you did with me in the prison. We could-" Chase tried to reason, but Brax barked for him to stop.

"I cant Chase, Look at my muzzle" Brax urged, Chase looked closer and felt a bit stupid for not realizing. There was the clear breather that attach to the top part of his muzzle, covering only his nose. on both sides were two small tubes that wrapped around to his back and under him. They must be connected to the gas canisters to make him go savage.

"Chase listen to me, Im not going to be in control of what I do. So heres how you can beat me, cut these tubes. I'll...I'll..." Brax could barely finish before the breather started to fog up, the gas was starting to spray into his nose. Chase could here the pressure of the gas, it was too strong for Brax to just ignore or just simply breathe through his mouth instead. His mouth frothed as he snarled at Chase, his eyes didnt look normal at all just like the poodle. He slowly crept toward Chase, like a predator about to pounce. "FIGHT!" One voice shouted from the cat crowd, along with a loud bullhorn. With that, Chase turned tail and ran.

Brax chased him around the ring, The mad barking and vicious growling sounded like he was going to rip out Chase's throat. As Chase ran along the wire, he saw the dogs looking at him, engaged to see the fight too, less enthusiastic were Rocky and Rubble, unwilling to see their friend get mauled by another friend. Chase couldnt slow down, if he did Brax would surely make quick work of him. However it didnt matter much, Brax got close enough to Chase's tail and bit down. It was painful but not enough to make him stop as Chase reacted with a swift kick with his hind leg. "CMON, I THOUGHT THIS WAS A DOG FIGHT, NOT A KITTEN FIGHT!" one voice shouted, hearing more boo's from the crowd. Not satisfied that he was running from the danger.

Among the cats was one who wasnt, Lou, He shuffled himself along the cats trying to get by. He saw the German Shepherd but didnt think too much of him, it was hard to get a good look as he ran around the ring at full speed to get away from the ravaging dog behind him. Lou looked up to see his adoptive aunt, Susanna continued to watch the show before she turned her head and made eye contact with her nephew. Her fur bristled and her eyes pricked up, not expecting to see him here. She turned back off the platform and walk down an open flight of stairs to him. "Lou, What are you doing here, How did you get in"

"I walked through the open door in the Slaughterhouse, Never thought you'd be that careless" Lou stated.

"Ridiculous, I keep that door closed and hidden at all times. Why are you here?" She asked, peeved and annoyed that he would be here. "Griffin wanted me to find out where the dogs where and he thought you were hiding something, and it seems like he was right" Lou turned back to the ring, seeing Chase being dragged by Brax up to the grill and rammed against it with the force of his body.

"This doesnt concern him, Im taking care of the problem. No dogs running around terrorizing innocent cats, Griffin should be happy Im doing this" She explained.
"How long has this been going on?" He asked.

"Quite some time, Maxwell would transfer dogs from the prison to here that he thought were 'too violent'. Cats want to see this stuff and I intend to deliver, nobody has said anything" She exclaimed.

"Yet...Nobody has said anything yet. Griffin is worried that word is going to get out and the Government is going to step in, He already suspects the FBI is looking over all of our shoulders, this is just going to make things worse for us." Lou said.

"Lou, Im not some last minute thinker, I have everything under control. Now if you'll excuse me, I have planning for my weekend event. Feel free to stick around and watch the show, but be sure to tell my brother to keep his nose out of my business" With that, she had walked off away from Lou, watching her as she walked back up the stairs to her platform and off into a secluded section where she could freely idle.

Lou sighed as he thought there was no point sticking around, he wasnt in the elated mood these cats were in to watch a good gory fight from the safety of their seats. However thinking he might still stick around to ask Susanna anything, leaning against a support beam as he watched the fight, obviously to who the German shepherd was.
Down in the lower center pit where the fight was, Chase wasnt doing too hot. He had the capability to fight back for sure, but he didnt want to. Brax wasnt in his right mind, only guided by toxins and chemicals to make him into a killing machine, he wasnt going to come to his senses and back down. Chase was just left with the option to dodge and dash out of his way, and to bear the brunt of his attacks if grabbed. "Just keep running Chase!" Rubble shouted. "WHAT DO YOU THINK IM DOING!" Chase shouted back as it was a constant run from the mountain dog. Until Brax had blind sided chase from his right side, ramming him into the wire mesh. Letting the side of his face grind against the mesh as he fell to the ground.

Brax gripped the back of his neck with his teeth and began to bite down, the pain surged through Chase as he kicked and squirmed along the ground. He rolled along his side, forcing Brax to roll with him in an alligator death roll type move. Stopping the center where Chase was now on his back and Brax stood over him, Brax tried to bite tear at Chase's muzzle, however Chase's front paws kept him at a good distance enough, however a 'good distance' was still very close, only a few inches.

Chase was sure he could hear the voices of the cats, calling out like football fans as they themselves banged on their chairs and against a wired mesh that separated them dropping down into the center themselves.

"TEAR OUT HIS THROAT"

"CLAW HIS EYES OUT, CMON"

"YANK HIM ACROSS THE RING"

"SNAP HIS MUZZLE LIKE AN ICE CREAM CONE"

"GO FOR THE STOMACH, THE STOMACH"

All sounded too gruesome for Chase's liking, fortunately Chase's brain was too busy to hear any of it. Instead his brain focused on something else more important. He eyed one of the tubes that slipped into Brax's nose, the gas tube that made him go crazy. He had remembered what Brax had told him before he lost control. Chase waited for the right moment and drove his muzzle at the tube, making it look like Chase was biting his muzzle. Chase pushed away Brax with his hind leg with one of the tubes in his mouth. With that, one was plucked from the inside of his nose as he fell back.

Chase eyed Brax as he saw him squirm and make odd noises of what sounded like pain, Brax himself reflecting that hes in pain. It was working. Chase spit out the singular tube onto the sand, not letting his eyes trail away from Brax who very quickly got back onto his paws. "One down, One to go" Chase muttered. Seeing Brax almost, but not quite on the way to being in control yet. In fact, inflicting the pain on Brax might have made him worse to deal with.

Brax bolted toward Chase like a raging bull, Chase dashed out the way only for Brax to turn right back away and do the same. Chase tried to do the same dodge but Brax mimicked his dodge ran into him, Brax grabbed Chase by his teeth and dragged him to the mesh. Chase felt a sharp sting in his spine as he laid on his side, looking up to see Brax slamming his front paws into his side repeatedly, each time was much harder, feeling like he was breaking something new. "Chase get up, Dont just lay there!" Rocky shouted, just inches away from, only being separated by the wire.

Chase groaned in pain as he desperately tried to keep his eyes open and even push away Brax, but everything was getting harder to focus and even stay conscious. Brax bit down into Chase's neck, The German shepherd gritted in pain as he was brought up against the mesh. The force of his grip was strong, Feeling the sharpness of his teeth dig deeper and deeper as Chase felt the hot breath of the mountain dog blowing into his face.

With the last remaining energy Chase had, he lurched forward, throwing Brax back onto his back. Brax didnt have enough time before Chase did the same and grabbed him by the neck with his teeth, instead from the back. With him dragging Brax along, he ran full speed to the mesh until letting go at the last second. Sending Brax's muzzle first into the mesh, his last tube was caught in the mesh. So with one final move, Chase grabbed him back the back of his neck once more and pulled him back with all the force he had, and with that the tube slipped out from inside his nose. Brax fell back in the center of the ring, no more vicious growling and snarling. Only faint sounds of pain, exhaustion, and whimpers.

"I DONT BELIEVE IT, WE HAVE A WINNER, AND A NEW CHAMPION" Susanna shouted out with energy and elation, the whole crowd of cats erupted in cheering as cats shouted out with glee, for some it may have not been the out come they wanted, but it sure was an entertaining fight to watch for sure for them. Chase looked around, seeing the cats jump in excitement and jubilee, however saw one face he knew.

He was looking right at Chase, however he didnt seem to recognize him too well. Lou sat with his arms cross as if not at all impressed by the fight. However when the German shepherd continued to stare at him, and only him, he felt like he knew him. Then, it clicked in his mind. He sat up in his seat and walked toward the mesh divider, both stared at each other in disdain and hatred.

"C-Chase..." Chase heard from beside him, It was Brax, still laying on his side on the ground. His tongue out and exhausted. "Im here bud, I won and you're still in one piece" Chase patted his fur, letting him rest up for a bit more.

"Thats...good" He huffed between both words just as the cats came in through the gate. Instantly throwing the rope over Chase's neck and pulling him away from the Mountain dog. Chase didnt even bother to fight back, he was already exhausted himself and aching all over. The other cats loaded Brax onto a roller and took him through the gate. "Cmon champ, Lets go" One of the cats holding Chase motioned as he tugged the rope, complying and walking away. Chase gave one final look back at the mesh that held all the dogs, seeing Rocky and Rubble. He'll link up back with them, this wasnt over for sure.

Soon the gate doors closed as Chase was lead down the hall, beside him was Brax being wheeled down by the other cats, too exhausted to even walk himself, his breathing heavy and his eyes drooped unable to focus. "Ahhh, my newest Champion" Chase heard from in front of him, the cats with the rope that lassoed around his neck tugged for him to stop like he was an animal.

In front was the black cat ring leader herself, Susanna clapped her claws in admiration for her new German shepherd, but not too much, as no matter how good he was, he was still a dog.

"I can see you're not frothing at the mouth or trying to break free, must've meant the gas wire off on you. No matter, when you're my champion, you'll get a constant supply just like he used to" She eyed Brax as he laid on the wheeler, stomach first.

Susanna eyed the mountain dog, walking over to him and slapping her paw against the tip of his muzzle, looking for any sort of reaction. Brax was fully conscious, but his whole body ached with pain, refused to even growl or snap at the feline.

"Hmmm, I suppose he's out of steam. Oh well, he was good until this one showed up. Take him to the Red Room for me please" She requested.

Both cats nodded and wheeled the mountain dog down a different hallway, Chase was worried, recalling Susanna's comment of Brax being 'out of steam'. Did she mean Brax was no longer useful as a fighter.

"What's going to happen to him?" He asked. Susanna shrugged as if she didn't know, but in reality she did. "Don't worry about him, Hes out of the picture. You however, you're going to be my Magnum Opus" She declared.

"Susanna, Susanna!" All of them turned to their side, seeing Lou run down the hall toward them. To Chase, it looked as if death himself was on his way. Chase wasn't in a good position at all, he was held in place around the neck, he's already exhausted from the fight with Brax, He has no idea where to run off to. He was done for.

"Susanna, do you not know who this dog is?" He exclaimed.
"Should I?"

"Hes Paw Patrol, Hes one of the dogs thats causing problems for all of us. Finally, I can take care of you right here, right now" Chase saw as Lou dug into his waist on his side, pushing away his dark jacket to come back out with a handgun. Chase's eyed widened, knowing this was it, his final moments. Suddenly, Susanna got in front of Chase, as she was shielding him. "Lou, Stop!" She shouted.

"What are you doing, I can easily finish him off right now, One less problem to deal with" Lou protested.

"Im not just going to let you kill my new dog fighting champion, If hes so much of an issue then I can assure you and my brother, he wont see the light of day ever again. Think about the future of the fights"

"Think about the future when we're standing before a federal court, Im telling you, This is only going to get worse if hes alive" Lou explained. "He wont stay alive for much long, I can promise you that. One day there will be a dog much strong and faster than him, and he'll go out in one big bloody mess" She stated, Chasing hoping and pleading in his mind he wasnt going to stick around for that day.

Soon after, Lou grunted with Susanna's stubbornness. However relenting to his adoptive aunt, loosing his grip on his handgun and holstering it back inside his jacket. After, he stepped closer to Chase and bent down to face him. "You're one lucky dog Chase, but you'll meet your match one day. Where are your other friends you escaped with. The mongrel and the bulldog"

Chase didnt respond, only staring at Lou's eyes with emptiness. Without warning, Chase lurched forward in a motion that made it look like he was going to pounce on the human. Lou jumped back in reaction, the german shepherd just want to scare him, that was his answer.

"Fine, be that way. I'll find them some other way" Lou stood back up, turning away from Chase as he stepped closer to Susanna. "Next fight is going to be spectacular Lou, six dogs all at once in the ring. You must stick around for it, you can watch it on the high platform with me"

"I think I might, Have fun with your new life Chase, Fighting your own kind to the death just to survive" Lou spoke, turning his back as he left. Chase spat toward his direction, giving his opinion on his 'new life'. Like hell it was going to be his new life, he was going to free these dogs and burn this place to the ground.

"Get this one strapped down and hooked up to the gas" The black feline ordered, the other cats obeying and taking Chase in another direction toward further down the hall. Chase knew he was going to get the same treatment Brax got when he was crowned champion, having a gas breather strapped to him with small tubes going into his nose.

Rocky paced back and forth, it was hard to concentrate on a plan to get out of this wire mesh with so many dogs panicking and bickering on who would be the next dog to fight. It was a non stop branch of in fighting, at this point Susanna didnt need to put another in the ring, these dogs were going to tear each other apart just because of fear. Rubble stood beside Rocky, trying to brainstorm along with him.

"Maybe we could…wait no, That wouldnt work" Rocky stopped himself, each half baked idea that would grow in his mind, coming to an obstacle where he had no idea how they would both do it. "Its times like these I really wish we had our pup-packs, thinking is hard" Rubble commented.

"You're right Rubble...except for that last part anyways, and our vehicles. I mean, if you had your dozer, we could have kno-" Rocky froze in his place, looking at the mesh, looking at how it fully wrapped around the ring. The mixed breed walked over to it, pressing his paw against it with. Trying to push it, it didnt budge. However, he did push it back just a little bit for him to brainstorm an idea. "...knock it down" He finished.

"Thats it, we can just simply knock it down" Rocky suggested, seemingly quite a simple plan. Just to brute force the mesh instead something more complex. "B-But how, both of us can barely make a dent in that" Rubble replied.

"The two of us for sure, But add in over a hundred dogs" Rocky suggested, looking back at the others canines, still not paying attention to the two dogs that werent in a fighting mood. "How do we get their attention?" Rocky asked, hoping the bulldog would have an idea, fortunately though, he did.

"Every dog listen!" Rubble shouted out, his voice very commanding just like something Chase would have said. For a moment, all the dogs turned their heads in confusion, Rocky could even see a few looking scared, almost like they were in fear of what the bulldog could do. Even though Rubble was a bit smaller than most of the dogs, he was way more well fed and had more muscle, knowing the bulldog if had to fight one of them, he would have a pretty decent chance.

"How long have you all suffered here, look at yourselves. Fighting your fellow canines in fear only to fight them later when you're the one picked" Rubble spoke, some dogs who were in the middle of battle with their fellow dog, took a step back, their head low in shame and their tails between their legs.

"How many of you had a life before you were taken by the sheriff's department, How many of you have loved ones that you would kill to see again…metaphorically of course" Rubble's words surely struck a cord with many of them, seeing some give slight nods and shake as they themselves remembered their life before it was ruining by the cats in control.
"I dont know who this bulldog is, but hes right, I have family back up there" One dog spoke from the tight crowd. "I was great at my work, until the Sheriff's department threw me in jail for nothing and I ended up here" Another spoke.

"I have 2 little pups waiting for me, I'll be damned if I die down here without getting to see them grow up" Another yelled out with conviction, sounding the most determined. "I'll tell you why you're all stuck down here, its because that black cat, Susanna, she expects us to act like animals even without the gas. She knows we'll fight ourselves at the slightest issue."

"Shes dead wrong, We're dogs, We can do just as much as any other cat can" Rocky pitched in with his short speech to rile the dogs up even more.

"Yeah!" They all shouted, and so it was working. "We stayed confined because we were divided, but we'll break out because we'll be united. Getting out from this mesh is as simple as you think, all we need, is a really really strong battering ram to bust it down" Rubble stated.

"Battering Ram, where are we going to get that?"

"We are the battering ram"

"Oh, say no more pal. Anything to get out of this hell hole" Shouted one, seeing the others join in. Rubble's words really struck a cord with their desire for freedom, Rubble pointed behind him where the mesh was. Seeing the small gathering of dogs growing by the second, more dogs bunching together in one group. Some cats from atop looked down below to see what the dogs were doing, looking a bit confused and concerned. "Go!" Rubble exerted, with their order clear, they ran forward, slamming themselves against the mesh. It was too strong for just one ram.

The cats above gasped, now more concerned as they watch the mass of dogs slam themselves into the mesh wire. Some dogs got knocked down, quickly regathering themselves and going right back for a running start once more. "Again!" Rocky said, running along with them as they did it again, running into the mesh at full force, the mesh was still up right, but it bent more than it did on their first time. "It dented, Keep going!" Rubble encouraged, gathering themselves back quickly just like the first time and running into the mesh again.

Each time the cats above got more scared and concerned, finally with one ram they made a good sized dent the damaged the bolt that held it up, there was now a mass of dogs up against the mesh. "Push!" One dog shouted, Rocky and Rubble no longer needed to give their shouts of morale anymore. The dogs desired freedom now more than ever. The mesh slowly bent downward as the dogs used every bit of weight they had to bring it down. Finally, the bolt that had held it up gave way. Shooting out and letting the mesh collapse. It wasnt a big hole, but it was a hole that every dog could get out from. "I-Is this part of the show?" One cat asked to another.

"I guess so" The other replied.

The dogs found themselves pouring into the middle of the ring where the fights would have taken place, the dogs taste for freedom gave them the extra energy they need not only to do what needed to be done, but now think. Rubble and Rocky didnt even need to say it as the dogs turned their attention to the gate that lead out the ring. Knocking it open as well with a few more rams as they all ran out. "Freedom!" One dog shouted. "Hunt them down, make them pay for what they did!" Another exclaimed.

Chase struggled away from the cats as he was lead into a room, the same rope tightened around his neck and muzzle like if he was a horse, eventually one cat slashed his claws against Chase's back. "Do as you're told Mutt!" He said. Slashing more than once as Chase etched away from him, backing away into a large drainage area with tiny walls to make sure the liquids stayed in the same place and not all over the open floor. Chase looked to both of his sides and saw the same drainage like structures, all stained with grime and dirt, and blood. This is where most likely the animals were taken to be killed, knowing their blood would make so much of a mess, relatively speaking.

Also seeing there was something added to the walls along where the built in structures were, Iron clamps that looked just right for a dog. One large one in the middle to hold a dog's body in place, the other more up right to hold a dog's head in place by the neck. "Sideways against the wall" One cat ordered, lashing his claw near the German shepherd, just close enough for him to get the message. Chase knew if he complied and he let himself be clamped, he couldnt put up no more of a fight.

With his freedom in the balance, he became overtly defiant. Lashing out like a bull, he growled and snapped at the felines, trying to seem as if he was as wild as they came. However, the cats were more than ready. Not stepping down and slashing their claws near him, cutting into his skin a few times. He still powered through nevertheless, little did he know, beyond them in came his knights in shining armour.

It was Rubble and Rocky and a few other dogs, the cats turned around and saw the dogs. Seeing they were grossly out numbered, they ran in the other direction to the other side of the room. The dogs that Chase didnt knew ran after the cats, backing them into a corner as the cats lashed their claws at the canines as their only defense. "Chase!" Rubble shouted with glee, seeing their German shepherd friend, in mostly one piece. "You both cant believe how happy I am to see both of you right when you did, If they clamped me down, I would have been at their mercy" Chase stated.

"Good thing this place isnt as big as the prison, we would have never found you" Rocky said

"Lets get out of here while we still can, the dogs are free" Rubble stated afterwards. "No, We need to find Brax. It wasnt too long ago they took him away to somewhere called the 'Red Room'. If we hurry, we can find him while hes still alive" Chase responded, immediately running out the room and down the halls with Rocky and Rubble by his side.
They continued down the hall were Chase had remembered seeing Brax being wheeled down, All three stopped in their tracks as they saw Lou further down, Their fur stood up in fear, coming face to face with the one who had done so much to betray them when they first came into Katt County. Luckily for them, Lou had his back turned, allowing the three to day off to the side so they couldnt be seen.

Lou faced down instead a pack of dogs who rushed toward him. Jumping at him and biting down on whatever they could get their teeth into. Lou punched and kicked the dogs off, but each time they fell off, they would get back up and back toward him again, even more furious. Lou backed off into a room where the dogs followed him. "Now" Chase muttered, seeing the chance as they ran as fast as they could past the door where Lou went in, It wasnt until they all passed the door, Chase could hear the sound of stuff being knocked over inside the room, and unfortunately, hearing the sounds of gun shots echoing inside. Knowing Lou was the only one in that room with a firearm, Chase feared the worst.

It wasnt long before the three passed a door, stained and scratched up, what was more eye catching was the sign written to the side of it. Spelling out 'Red' right next to it. "This must be it" Rocky said, The mixed breed pushed the door slightly with his nose, peaking inside just so he could see. He eyed around the room before he got excited, Both Chase and Rubble seeing his tail wag like he had good news. "I see him" Rocky whispered back to his friends.

Without a moment to lose, Rocky went in, following close behind were Chase and Rubble. Now inside, they could see why it was called the Red Room. All along the walls were poorly attempts to clean the blood, its silhouette making a large splatter in some places only for it to drip down along the wall and onto the floor. Inside where sinks that looked like they had been cleaned for sure, but it looked too clean to match with the room, like it was used frequently, which gave also an unnerving feeling.

Along with the sinks where the counters in the middle of the room, on it, where surgical trays were surgical tools, like a bone saw and needles, also were tools that didnt look surgical at all. Such as large butcher knives and hammers for tenderizing meat. Against the walls also were long trays with white sheets over them, the sheets stained crimson red at some places, making it self evident there were the bodies of dogs. One the center counters was one dog, Brax, he was still breathing but still badly hurt. "Brax" Chase spoke out to get his attention.

Brax slightly turned his head toward them, seeing a faint expression of happiness to see them. "Help...me" He spoke, his voice horse and dry. "We will, Can you walk atleast?" Chase asked.

"Maybe" He replied, trying to get up. However, just as he did. On the other side of the room was another door, behind it was a female voice, sounding like Susanna. "Hide" Rocky muttered quietly, but loud enough for all three to hear. All three dashed in one direction to the corner of the room, where each tray held the corpse of a dog with the white sheet over it. They were concealed enough for them not to be seen, but to see for themselves. The door had pushed outward and in came Susanna.

The black cat walked with a strut in her step, like she was getting ready for work. Coming to the realized to the three that this was all Susanna's workings, her hustle of a diner was her front, but behind closed doors, with the way she was acting in the environment of something like this, this was her pride of work really. "Alrighty, Paging Doctor Susanna, ready for an operation" Susanna joked, tapping her tools of pain on the side.

"Why are you doing this, at least tell me that before you kill me" Brax asked of the cat, trying to buy time for his friends to put a stop to this, maybe for the right time to strike. "Because it doesnt matter how much a dog integrates with the life style of a cat, we cant live peacefully together. Some things just arent made that way, my brother just wants to make it clear to every cat to understand, that they dont know what they're giving away. Our way of life" She said as she brushed her paw against a knife that laid flat against the counter, not knowing where to start.

"Im sorry if that answer doesnt exactly satisfy you, but its just something hard to explain, I guess you'd have to live it to get it fully. Its a shame living for you is out of the question though" She added. Eyeing a large knife on the side that would surely make the 'cutting' part easier on her. The three dogs in the corner of the room continued to hide, They were behind the wheel tray with the white sheet over it. There were many in the room, however Chase decided to take a peak at one, lifting the sheet just a bit to see under just out of curiosity. The first thing he had recognized horrified him, it was the broken and peeled back muzzle of a dog, all bloody and definitely far gone from being alive, Chase could hardly recognize it a first but he saw how the fur looked familiar, it was the poodle who fought before Chase did.

In some cases, It didnt matter if you were a winner or a loser, Susanna had the final say in the end. Chase pulled himself back, not wanting to be near the mangled canine any longer, however pushing himself back a little too much as he slammed himself into a metal lamp. The lamp rattled and pushed back and forth, making enough noise for Susanna to take notice. Susanna looked in its direction in suspicion, seeing the lamp move back and forth like indeed something had moved it.

She laid down the sharp knife she held before pacing over to the lamp to investigate it herself. All three looked at each other, looking under to see her paws coming closer and closer. Knowing that if she came closer, all three would attack, them having the element of surprise. However just as she came a tail length away, on the other side of the room. A landline phone rang loudly. "Ughhhh, Distractions Distractions Distractions" She groaned and nagged at the universe, everything getting in the way.
She walked over and picked up the phone, letting her listen in. "Hello...Oh Tyran hello, How are you...Am I busy, Ummmm N-No you're fine, just you know cutting meat, chicken and lamb and stuff" She chatted on with her dear friend, this was their opportunity.

"Now's the best chance we have" Rocky stated, It was indeed the best chance they were going to get. Susanna was face away from the room, clearly engaged in her conversation over the phone. Chase wanted to stop his friend, hesitating but he was too later. Rocky hastily crept up toward the counter and tapped Brax to get his attention.
Brax looked over and before he could say anything, Rocky placed a paw to his mouth in a gesture telling him to not make even a mouse's squeak. "What problems...Reno, How about him?" Susanna continued over the phone.

"Im sure its not as strange as you think its going to be, and if im being honest, That sounds like the least risky thing any of us have ever done...Oh trust me Tyran, I've got skeletons in the closet, so does Reno, so does my brother, and Im pretty sure Maxwell did too" They tried to ignore their conversation, trying to focus on getting Brax back onto his paws so they could move quickly.

"Maxwell was just a one off thing Im sure, He probably couldnt handle the pressure and fled, I doubt it was the government, If there was any sort of operation, Griffin would let us know for sure. Dont tell him I said this, but hes gone a little jumpy ever since Maxwell left" Susanna said, unbeknownst to her seeing all four dogs slowly and carefully walking toward the door. Brax bit his tongue, each time he limped, he wanted to grunt with the pain, but he couldnt.

"Almost there" Rubble whispered quietly, but just as they got close. The door swung open, and who had come through was Lou. Lou was about to shout out to warn Susanna of the escaped dogs, until he looked down and saw the three dogs he had despised so much. The sound of the doors swinging open made Susanna look back in surprise, only to be greeted with a tense stand off between the two. Chase knew he had to make a split second decision, seeing Lou's gaze move from them to Susanna, he lunged directly at him. Biting down on his hand as Rocky lunged as well, going for his leg.

Lou shouted in sudden pain as he stumbled to the side, Chase's grip was strong, however Lou was still human, and he was decently stronger. With one arm, Lou lifted Chase, tearing his own skin but slamming him against the wall. Rocky couldnt get a strong grip with his teeth just like Chase, slipping back and tugging back on his pant leg. Lou tried to balance but instead he fell over.

Falling over on his side, Somethings slid across the floor that werent properly secured in his jacket, his phone, a lighter, keys, and even his gun. The firearm slid across the floor with it even being still tucked into the holster. Lou eyed the gun, trying to get back on his feet to retrieve it. However Chase tugged his hair with his teeth and pulled him onto his back.

"Rubble, The gun!" Rocky shouted, Rubble raced after it without hesitation. However along side him ran Susanna, she was much faster than the stubby bulldog, much more lean and agile as in one jump, she pounced right onto the holster as if it were prey. The black cat swerved around her body, hissing at the bulldog and slashing her paws in his direction, daring him not to come close. Rubble backed up, not wanting her to get the first blood of the fight. However before Rubble could attack himself, he had heard from behind him "OUT OF THE WAY".

Rubble looked behind him to see Brax, The Bernese Mountain dog charging full speed with every bit of energy he had. The british bulldog dashed out of the way as he ran forward like a raging bull. Susanna turned wide eyed as she was taken back by the sudden bravery, physically too. As she was struck head on by the dog, sending her flying against a wheel tray.

Brax also unable to stop himself, slamming himself against the wall. Rubble looked down at the firearm that was now unguarded, taking it in his mouth and running out a separate door. "No!" Lou shouted, gaining a new found burst of strength, pushing aside Chase and Rocky onto their sides and running after Rubble. Chase and Rocky got to their paws and followed right behind him, afterward came Brax, trying to keep up but still with a heavy limp. Then came Susanna, furious of her current state, covered in a blood mess from the wheel tray. She was out for blood now.

Rubble didnt dare to look behind him, only what was in front was most important to him, staying alive. Rubble had swerved and ducked under wheel trays, which Lou had just pushed and kicked out of his way. Continuing his path of rampage until he reached Rubble, seeing the british bulldog run up staircase of steps that twirled into a spiral upwards. Rubble reached the top where he saw the room's atmosphere of furniture had change. No more wheel trays with the bodies of covered dogs, blood on the walls, and buzzing lights.

Instead Rubble saw a well furnished room with a couches, tables with bowls of picked fruit, a modern television, and an open balcony. His brain tried to recognized the balcony, however Lou pounced just behind him, Rubble got out of the way. Letting Lou fall flat onto his stomach, Chase and Rocky running in right after, biting at Lou along his arm and the side of his chest. "Get off him!" Susanna came in with a running swing, clawing Rocky and Chase as she dashed right by.

"Get back here dog!" Susanna shouted, chasing Rubble. Each time Rubble would change direction, but the feline never went sliding uncontrollably. Her stance and balance was almost perfect, it didnt take long as Susanna finally cornered him back toward a small kitchen counter. "I'LL GUT YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS WHEN I GET MY CLAWS ON YOU" She shouted, chasing after him into the lower cupboard.

Meanwhile across the room, Chase and Rocky were already biting off more than they could chew, No matter how hard they bit and where they bit, Lou just found the strength to get back up again. Lou punched Rocky over the head with a closed fist, Chase not taking it lightly that his friend was hit lunged at the human with her large german shepherd teeth.

Lou however was ready, grabbing Chase by his neck with one hand, and grabbing Chase's stomach with his other. Having a firm grip on the german shepherd, he threw him with all the force he had, letting his body smash into a mirror on the wall, making it shatter with little bits and piece of glass falling onto Chase.

Lou eyed the room for any sign of Rubble, seeing the bulldog, still with the gun in his jaws, dash out the kitchen cupboard, Covered in Scratches and slices from Susanna's sharp claws that were no doubt as sharp as any other knife. As Rubble tried to run past him, Lou dove down to him and grabbing him with both hands. In a last ditch effort, Rubble spat out the gun, throwing it toward the balcony. The gun slid almost to the edge, Susanna was closer, taking it upon herself to reach for it. Then as she had it, a dog came charging through up the stairs and through the middle of the room. Almost knocking Lou to the ground, it was Brax.

Brax did like last time and tried to ram Susanna with his own body, however Brax saw what was on the edge of the balcony, nothing. It was just a steep drop to who knows where. Brax tried to skid to a halt but it failed. With his back turned he tried to claw for friction, He slid to a halt, but only after feeling the entire lower half of his body hanging. "Brax!" Rocky shouted, running to the mountain dog. Rocky grabbed Brax by the scruff of his neck and tried to pull him back up, Rocky looked over the balcony only to see down below a familiar place, it was the fighting ring, this is where Susanna would stand to watch the fight from her own personal view.

Down below were still dogs, they noticed what was above. Seeing Susanna, dangling and holding onto Brax's back leg for dear life, she looked down and saw the savage blood thirsty dogs, eager for her to fall so they could tear her limb from limb. Each time Susanna would try and pull herself up, she would slip on the mountain dog's damp and shaggy fur, making her slip even more. If Brax fell, she would fall too.

"Please Please, Pull us up, I'll do anything you ask. I'll stop the dog fighting, I'll give you money. Is that it you want money, I can give you that, Do you know who my brother is?!" She pleaded, whether she was genuine or not was none of Rocky's prerogative, Brax was the only one worth saving.

With Chase getting back to his paws, He knew he had to keep Lou at bay. Rocky was way to close as it was, A push from Lou was send all three tumbling to their deaths. Rubble however ran to Rocky's aid, giving an extra wave of strength, although it still wasnt enough.

Chase's fight with Lou became less like a fight and more of a distraction for the others, Chase was exhausted and he couldnt keep going. Lou would land blows that would take the fight out of Chase completely, however he had to keep going, for the sake of his friends. Lou grabbed Chase up by his neck with both hands, tightening his grip as he looked directly at him. Chase felt the pressure of his head intensifying, it was getting harder and harder to breathe. He coughed and hacked for air, thinking he was going to pass out.

Until the grip on Chase's neck suddenly loosened completely, Chase fell to the floor as she looked up. Lou was now the one being choked from the back, Chase could see it wasnt a dog or a cat doing this, these were human biceps around his neck, Chase couldnt believe it just as he saw it, It was him, It was Ryder.

It was like looking at an angel that had come, Chase was confused, he didnt know if he was imaging things, then behind Ryder in came more faces. Skye, Zuma, Marshall, Tuska. "Hello old friend!" Tuska shouted to Chase, rushing to his side and getting him back up to his paws. "H-How did-" Chase was still in shock at the numerous faces he loved all in one.

"We met up with Dixie and Dixon, they told us you went here and we came looking for you. It was a hastle but we showed up just when you needed us" He replied, seeing the others having their punch in with Lou. Ryder landed most hits, knocking Lou in the face and chest, nasty fight blows while the others bit and tugged where they could. Chase turned his head back to Rocky, seeing how they were still slowly slipping down.

"Hold on, Im coming!" Chase rushed over with Tuska, Chase gripped with his teeth whilst Tuska gripped with his claws, with their added strength it was enough. They began to pull back until they heard Brax groan in pain, Susanna's claws were scrapping desperately to hold on. "PLEASE, IM SLIPPING!" She pleaded, but her cries fell on deaf ears. "Just kick her off Brax!" Chase said.

Susanna heard the suggestion just as Brax looked over down toward her, there was fear in her eyes. However, this was the same fear she had inflicted on many dogs before him. "Save your brother a seat in hell" Brax groaned as he shook his back leg, fully shaking her off.

Susanna screamed in fear as she fell down to the center of the ring. Right where the dogs saw her in full view, four of them growled and barked at the feline, damning her for everything she had done. None of these dogs were hooked on the gas that drove them to go blood thirsty, it was all on their own sane mind.

"G-G-Good Dogs" Susanna uttered as she backed away, too hurt to put up a fight against four dogs and too weak to run. Even if she was able to run, where would she run to. The right was small and looped in a circle. The dogs didnt say anything, their eyes burned with raged as all four, at the same time, pounced toward her. Grabbing a chunk from her as she screamed out in pain, the brutality of her death was something hard to watch and hard to hear, but even then, it was still mercy compared to her other atrocities.

With Susanna discarded, Brax was pulled back up, all the while hearing Susanna's muffled cries for help and also gaggles of her blood spilling over. As they all stood on the platform looking down, once the noise subsided, the four dogs calmed down. Each parting ways and running through the gate to join their fellow dogs in freedom. The last dog to leave turned back to view the mangled cat, brushing head bursts of sand onto her remains as if she were garbage. her body was contorted and twisted, chunks of her flesh was missing, revealing pieces of her skeleton in the open air. Next to her body was a sparkling necklace that she always wore, there she laid motionless.

Susanna, the county's sweetheart who smile in public for cats to love her, and smiled behind closed doors for dogs to fear her, was now dead.

Lou however decided sticking around for a fight wasnt the best in his favour, seeing his opportunity and running out the room back down the stairs away from them all, Skye and Zuma attempted to chase him but where halted by Ryder, saying simply "Let him go, we'll get him another time" Ryder said, bruised and hurt himself. Now, everyone had a chance to see each other. Letting each other's company sink in.

Ryder kneed down, opening his arms for Chase, Rocky, and Rubble to run in and embrace their friend. "Im so glad you two are okay" He said. "Same here Ryder, Same here" Chase responded, letting the other dogs join in, all whilst Tuska stood on the side lines, knowing this wasnt his place for a hug, this was more personal.

"As soon as Dixie and Dixon told us you were here, we knew we couldnt wait any longer to see you, It was a risky move coming here" Skye stated.

"It was a risky move coming here for us too, We just wanted to find the captured dogs and free them, we had no idea all this was going on. I guess we killed three birds with one stone, We put a stop to Susanna's dog fighting club, we freed the dogs, and Susanna herself wont be a problem anymore for Dixie and Dixon" Rubble exclaimed.

"Much mowe than that too, Susanna was a key part of Griffin's innew ciwcle, With hew gone, Hes going to have a lot mowe to wowwy about" Zuma added in.

"Griffin?" Rocky asked, with his head in a tilt, not recognizing that name.

"We'll explain more later, but right now, We can get back to Dixie and Dixon, let them know what happened" Skye said, It sounded like a fine conclusion to their mission, all walked out the room to a destroyed mess. No doubt all the dogs had found their way out and where now above ground, free and ready to jump back into the cause, to fight to destroy the system of cats.
