Episode 4 – HOW I WOKE FORMIKA FROM ITS NIGHTMARE
The sky was getting meant the dawn was coming. I was spying on Zim through my little mirror. The most infamous Irken of all time dragged the fake princess Loo-nah to his base and ordered the Computer to make a call to the Tallest. As soon as Zim's sassy AI system initiated communication between Zim and the Massive's most important passengers, Almighty Tallest Red and Purple appeared on TV screen. Needless to say, they were deeply irritated by Zim, by how he always dared to stay alive, let alone calling them in another pathetic attempt to impress them.
- What is it now, Zim? – said Red with bored tone.
- My Tallest, prepare yourselves to hear wonderful news. For I, Zim, the greatest Irken Invader ever – have captured the Formikan princess here.
Saying this, Zim moved aside to let his leaders see a small, pink being that was hanging in a net attached to the ceiling. Can you imagine how hilarious it was to watch their reactions? It was sorta combination of the final scene of episode 1 (''The Nightmare Begins'') and the scene from the Netflix movie when zim calls the Tallest a little while after mocking Dib for his ''CHAIRDIB'' form. Or at least this is my way of description of their stupid-looking faces, their snack-spitting and drink-spilling.
- It can't be… - mumbled Red in disbelief.
- You really got her? – added Purple just as much astonished as his co-ruler.
- But… how?
- Well. – said Zim proudly. – It was pretty easy for me to track her down by taking over signal from her little escape pod.
'' So that's how Zim found princess Loo-nah's hideout.'' – I thought.
- Sooo… when do I get my reward? – asked Zim eventually.
The Tallest exchanged shooketh glances with each other. And then, Red sighed:
-Ok, Zim. We will send you your year's supply of snack right after you teleport the royal brat to Irken headquarter on Formika.
- Right away, Sir!
And so he took him only a little while to send my changeling to Formika and receive tons of snacks in return. After their conversation finally ended, I switched vision in my little mirror from Zim's base to wherever the fake princess was being taken to. Irken soldiers fished her out of a net, handcuffed her and led her through half-lighted, metallic corridor. I could hear one of them shout commands one after another. ''Prepare the platform! Gather all Formikans on the square! Somebody go and get the queen out of her cell! You! Make sure the blade is sharp enough! And let's not make the Almighty Tallest wait too long!''
With each second passing, my villainous grin was getting wider. I just couldn't wait for THIS moment to come. Due to Irken soldiers preparing everything necessary to conduct the public execution on princess Loo-nah. Or rather what they thought was her. I must admit that back then, when I was waiting impatiently for the moment to attack, I was almost as excited as on the day I was watching ''Invader Zim: Enter The Florpus'' for the first time. I automatically started drinking another beer. But this time, I was drinking from one of my mugs (the one with Freddy Krueger) instead of directly from can. A FEW MOMENTS LATER… (SPONGEBOB REFERENCE)
I was sitting cross-legged, focused on my tiny ''screen''. Now I was wearing another shirt, black with Annabelle's picture. My Freddy Krueger mug, FUNKO POP Chucky figure and Freddy Fazbear plushie were lying on the ground, right next to me. Just like I tended to do before watching a horror movie. About what I was seeing in my magic mirror – thousands of Formikans were gathered in one place, surrounded by Irken soldiers. They were standing in front of a solid, metallic, about 20 feet high platform and observing how a pair of Irkens were leading my changeling on the top. And the two other Irkens were leading the queen only few steps behind. One of Irkens stood at the edge and announced: - This is the final part of this pitiful, worthless planet's downfall! The princess and her mother are going to die now and here, to the glory of The Irken Empire!
The Irkens raised their weapons, shouting chorally and proudly.
- Let the execution begin! – said the Irken speaker and gave the others the sign to do what they had to queen started struggling with Irken soldiers, sobbing and begging them to spare her daughter. But they remained unaffacted by her desperation. The executioner grabbed a piece of material on fake princess Loo-nah's back and dropped her, forcing kneeling position on her. After that, he raised a long, sharp object that resembled a hatchet and… CHOP! She got decapitated. Her head fell off the platform and landed on the ground below, with a single, dull bang. Crowd of Formikans groaned in terror. And the queen…Oh, how miserable, devastated and heart-broken despairer she was at that moment…
''It is time!'' – I thought.
And then, surprisingly for all Formikans and Irkens, fake Loo-nah's headless body stood up slowly and jumped off the platform and landed on her feet like a cat. My changeling came up to her head and picked it up. And that was the moment my small figures left their Trojan horse, turned into monster versions of themselves and splited up to attack and butcher each and every Irken within reach of their fangs, claws or any other of their deadly features. I can't describe all details of this slaughter, but I'd compare what was happening there to the most brutal, graphic and gory horror film scenes I've ever seen, with ''Terrifier 2'' at the forefront. And the Formikans – their reactions were varying. Some of them were staring, completely petrified, some of them were screaming at the top of their lungs, some of them even lost consciousness. I had so much fun watching that. The only thing I regreted was me not being there in person. It would be a lie if I told that liberation of planet Formika was fast and easy. After all, this planet was pretty big so this means I had hundreds of Irkens to get rid of. Plus, I had to act quick if I didn't want even a single Irken to survive. It's not like I am complaining. I'm just saying it took some time to make sure no Irken leaves Formika alive. When the carnage has finally come to an end, my beauties started picking up all Irken corpses and doing something that made them look like they were eating them whole and drinking their blood from the ground. My toys were doing this not only to clean all that mess. The main reason was my intention to reuse blood and corpses of the killed Irken soldiers. After they were done with their job, they left, walking to a place beyond the sight of shocked Formikans. Less than an hour later, in the early morning, princess Loo-nah - the real one - finally woke up. She rubbed her eyes and looked at me while I was kneeling right next to her.
- Oh… Solitaire. Good morning. – she said, standing up.
- Good morning, little princess. – I replied.- Did you sleep well?
- Yeeeaaah… I did. – she yawned.
- Very well. Princess, I've brought you a little something. (It is a quote from ''Shrek'' ;))
- What is it?
- Good news. You can come back to your home planet.
- My home planet? But… it's conquered by the Irken Empire now!
- Not anymore.
- Wha- What do you mean?
- I took care of that. So… Formikans are free again.
Little alien girl gave me a wide, happy and bright smile.
- Is this true? May I go and see my mom now?
- Oh, you two will meet each other in next few minutes. But… first things first.
I used my kendama to open a portal between Formika and our temporary hideout, making way for my little treasures, now in their regular forms, so they'd march through and come back to their mistress.
- Before I send you to your mom, I'd like to ask you for a little favor. – I said.
- Whatever you want. – answered princess Loo-nah.
- Tell your mom and all the other Formikans I'll come visit them a little bit later.
- I will.
- Good. Now go through this portal to see dear mother of yours. See you later!
And so she did. I closed the portal behind her and soon after started doing what I had to do before coming to Formika.
