Hey everyone Musikman50 here, and Happy 2025 everyone! This is the first story getting updated in 2025!

As for my other stories, I will admit I honestly have problems with wanting to update them but not have anything to write down. I honestly second guess if what I'm writing will make sense. Not only that but I also have a life outside of this.

Not trying to get too personal but my Uncle had suffered a stroke after falling on the floor. I was able to set him up and call someone to get him help. Everything did work out as he is alright but that was a really crazy situation that happened like the first or second week of December.

But understand I will try to update my stories but I can't guarantee that. Besides, no one knows what's in store for you tomorrow. But enough of that, let's start this new year with a new chapter and next a new one-shot.

Chapter 13: Cooler's Revenge Part 3

The door to the Gravity Room opened up with Vegeta crawling out. Vegeta had been training at 400 times Earth's Gravity. He trained himself to exhaustion and was bruised and bloodied from his harsh training.

Vegeta: Dammit, I need to hurry.

Before Vegeta could pass out, he was helped up by Bulma who had arrived in time to see him.

Bulma: Dammit Vegeta! What have I told you about nearly getting yourself killed?!

Vegeta: Don't lecture me woman. I am a Saiyan. We grow from near death battles.

Bulma was getting angry.

Bulma: You won't be growing if you end up dead! Start thinking for once in your life! You need to be more careful.

Vegeta brushed off her concerns and began to walk off.

Vegeta: Whatever, just stop pestering me Bulma.

Bulma sighed in frustration.

Bulma: He's such a try hard. Honestly, you Saiyans are something else.

As Bulma began to walk off, she began to realize something. She stopped and turned towards the direction Vegeta left in.

Bulma: Wait, did he just call me by my name? Usually, he would just call me woman.

As Vegeta walked towards the shower room, he began to sense a malevolent Ki. He stopped and looked a bit concerned.

Vegeta: Why does this Ki feel like Frieza's? Bardock and his family are their but will their power be enough?

Bardock glared at Cooler as he reminded Bardock of Frieza. Not only that but because Cooler was holding a beaten Piccolo. Bardock remembered when Goku told him about Piccolo and Kami being a single being once and if Piccolo dies then Kami dies too.

Bardock couldn't allow Piccolo to die otherwise Kami won't be able to upgrade the Dragon Balls and Raditz won't be revived.

Cooler: What's wrong Saiyans? Are you finally realizing the severity of your situation?

Bardock: As if we could take someone like you lightly. You want to fight against me fine. Drop the Namekian.

Cooler: Hmm, very well.

Cooler dropped Piccolo but just as Piccolo fell to the ground, Cooler pointed a finger at him. Luckily, Bardock appeared in front of Cooler preventing him from attacking. Piccolo was caught by Gohan and Krillin as they flew over to Gine.

Bardock: You really are just as heartless, cruel, and evil as Frieza. And just like with my son did to Frieza, I will defeat you.

Cooler: You better hope you can because I have intention of losing to you Monkey. Just know that once I'm done with you, I'll reduce this whole planet to dust! After I've killed you family.

Bardock didn't hesitate and punched Cooler in the face. Cooler was stunned by the hit. Bardock would punch Cooler in the stomach multiple times before kicking him away.

Bardock charged after Cooler and attempted to punch him but Cooler caught both of his arms.

Cooler: No one humiliates a member of our family and lives to tell the tale.

Cooler and Bardock flew into the lake and continued their fight. Cooler punched Bardock in the face twice before Bardock retaliated with multiple punches to the face and gut.

Cooler tried punching him twice but Bardock dodged both attacks before kneeing Cooler in the stomach. With Cooler bent over and reeling in pain from the attack, Bardock got behind him and wrapped his arms around Cooler's neck with a chokehold. He proceeded to knee Cooler in the back before flying upwards out of the lake and throwing him away.

Cooler stopped his descent and punched Bardock across the face once Bardock got close to him. Cooler used his tail wrapping it around Bardock's neck to choke him.

Cooler: That was a nice move. Allow me to show you my variation.

Cooler began punching Bardock's lower back causing Bardock to yell out in pain. Cooler's sadistic smile grew as he continued on.

Cooler: Yes, scream more for me Monkey!

Bardock eventually screamed and used his Ki to create a shockwave to free himself and push Cooler back.

Bardock: Now I'm pissed.

Bardock charged forward and began punching him again with his attack feeling heavier than before. Bardock delivered an uppercut to Cooler before jumping backwards in midair.

Bardock: HAAAAAAA!

Bardock fired his Tyrant Lancer at Cooler blasting him. The attack sent Cooler flying with Bardock chasing him again. Cooler managed to recompose himself and landed by a waterfall. Bardock would soon land in front of him.

Cooler: I'll admit it Saiyan, you are definitely formidable. Honestly, I am impressed. I can see why Frieza fell to your son.

Cooler's look changed to anger when thinking about Frieza.

Cooler: My brother was a pest, always thinking of himself as the strongest being in universe. I would have killed him myself one day. But my father always thought so highly of him. He didn't even care about me, his first born.

Bardock: If your family wasn't so rotten then I'd say our races were quite similar. We always valued power over everything else.

Cooler smiled at that.

Cooler: Indeed we did. Frieza and I constantly tried to out do each other. He would always try to beat me, trying to prove that he was the best and he definitely had the edge.

Cooler's smile widened a bit.

Cooler: And then it happened. I transformed. As you can see, I am in my True Form but I was able to acquire a new form beyond it.

Bardock was shocked to hear this.

Bardock: Impossible!

Cooler then shifted his position.

Cooler: You should feel honored Saiyan. You'll be the first person to witness this form. First you will see, then you will die!

Cooler began to charged his Ki and produce a shockwave that stunned Bardock. Cooler began to grow bigger with his eyes turned red.

As he grew, his deltoids evolve into shoulder bows and gain boney arm bladelike spike on his forearm covers. He gains a dark-blue jewel like spot on his legs, arms, and his head with his face gaining a mask-like visor. As his tail gains a white boney spike at the tip, four boney protrusions spike out from his head creating a crown.

Bardock was taken aback by this.

Bardock: Oh no. I didn't expect this.

Cooler stood their with a sadistic smile.

Cooler: Yes, this is my Final Form. Time to die!

Cooler's smile shifted to a glare before a mask formed and covered his mouth and nose. Cooler charged at Bardock and tried to attack him only for Bardock to dodge and avoid the attack.

However, Cooler appeared and kneed Bardock into gut and sent him crashing into rock formation. He then spikes Bardock down into the lake before charging down and using both fists to attack Bardock and creating force so strong, the lake opened up.

As Bardock groaned in pain the attack, Cooler flew up as the lake water crashed down on Bardock.

Cooler: Hahahaha, I love doing that.

-with Gohan, Krillin, & Gine-

The three can easily sense what was going on and realized that Bardock was in danger. Unwilling to put her grandson in danger, Gine made up her mind. She had an idea, a stupid and crazy one but an idea none the less.

Gine: Gohan, Krillin, you two stay here with Piccolo.

Gohan: But Grandma-

Gine: No buts, Gohan. Please stay here. Bardock is in trouble and he'll all of the help he can get. Don't worry I'll be just fine.

Gohan didn't want to stay and do nothing but he felt reassured by Gine's words.

Gohan: Alright. Please be careful.

Gine smiled at him.

Krillin: I'll look after Gohan and Piccolo.

Gine: Understood.

Gine flew up into the air towards the battlefield.

-Back at the Battlefield-

Bardock rose from the lake behind Cooler.

Cooler: Back for more, huh?

Hearing Cooler taunt started to anger Bardock and he charged around Cooler. However, Cooler wasn't paying any attention to Bardock and hit him in the face, stopping Bardock from attacking Cooler from behind.

Bardock rebounded and tried to attack Cooler but Cooler disappeared... only for Cooler to reappear hit Bardock in the head with an elbow.

As Bardock tried to gain some distance, he flew backwards into Cooler who appeared behind him.

Cooler: Is this all you can do Saiyan? I'm starting to feel bored.

Bardock lost his cool and tried to kick Cooler only for Cooler to move behind him again and punch him away. Cooler proceeded to chase down Bardock and punch him in the gut and into another rock formation before slamming him onto the ground.

He still had his fist Bardock's gut and used that same arm to push Bardock into the ground before blasting him causing a tremor that tore the ground and lake. Bardock, heavily bruised and exhausted rose once again from the lake that was split in two.

Cooler: Look at you. HAHAHAHA! You can't even detect my movements! What are you going to do now huh?

Bardock yelled at the top of his voice before firing a blast Cooler. Instead of dodging the attack Cooler charged through the attack.

Bardock: Come on! No!

Cooler appeared before punching Bardock in the face. He then proceeds to knee Bardock in the gut before slamming him into a rock pillar. Before Bardock could do anything Cooler stomped on him twice.

Cooler: It's a shame you aren't the Super Saiyan. Otherwise, I would find much more joy in this. Then again, beating on inferior Monkeys like you will always put a smile on my face.

Bardock wasn't beaten yet. Though crippled with pain, he was still holding on.

Cooler: Now that I'm done with you I'll go find the rest of your family and deal with them.

?: You won't have to look long.

Cooler turned and saw Gine.

Bardock: G-Gine... get out... of here...

Gine charged forward and sent a blast at Cooler but Cooler swatted the attack away before shooting eye lasers through Gine's abdomen.

Bardock: GINE!

Gine fell to the ground with blood falling from her mouth and wounds.

Cooler: How pitiful, as if she really thought she could ever stand up to someone like me. I am the supreme master of the universe! I am the great destroyer, the taker of life! It is my will that this planet and everyone on it, will be annihilated!

Bardock felt his anger rise higher than before and felt power emanate throughout his whole body. He was going to make Cooler pay attacking Gine. No one attacks Gine and gets away with it.

Bardock: You bastard! I will make... you pay!

Bardock freed himself from the rock pillar he was stuck in and began to have gold energy envelop him.

Bardock: I will make... YOU PAAAAAAAY!

In a flash of light, a powerful shockwave occurred and Cooler had to shield his eyes. As he looked again, he was stunned. Cooler couldn't believe it.

Cooler: He's different. He's changed!

Bardock had transformed.

Bardock was covered in golden Ki with hair spiking up and blonde and his eyes were now greenish-blue. Cooler for the first time in his life felt fear of another being.

Bardock is now a Super Saiyan.

Capsule Corporation

Vegeta felt Bardock's Ki from West City and groaned in anger.

Vegeta: Dammit! Kakarot's father's Ki feels different from before. No, it can't be! There is no way I'll accept that he became a Super Saiyan before me!

Bulma was sitting across from Vegeta and sighed.

Vegeta: I need to train again!

Vegeta rushed off to the gravity Room to resume his training.

Battlefield

Cooler: Saiyan insect! Prepare to be squashed!

Cooler lifted his arm but Bardock appeared before him and grabbed his arm, stopping him.

Bardock: Do you think you can get away with what you've done?

Cooler freed his arm but tried to punch Bardock in the stomach. His attack connected but Bardock was unfazed.

Bardock: You're reign of terror ends here.

Cooler: What are you talking about?! I kill when I want! The weak die and the strong survive!

Bardock: Fine then, we'll play by you rules Cooler. LET'S GOOOO!

Cooler was sent back a bit leading Bardock to punch him in the face and knee him in the stomach. As Cooler reeled from the pain, he floated backwards before laughing.

Cooler: I see why my brother feared you Saiyans. I love it, you're too much!

Cooler shot a blast at Bardock that didn't faze him and was just a distraction to get of Bardock's view. Bardock began looking only for Cooler's voice to surprise him.

Cooler: Sleeping on the job Super Saiyan?

Bardock looked up to see Cooler with a fully charged Supernova. Bardock readied himself as he knew Cooler was now trying to destroy the planet.

Cooler: I can gather energy a lot faster than my brother. You shouldn't have taken your eyes off of me. Now die along with this planet! HAAAAAAAA!

Cooler threw the Supernova at Bardock.

Bardock yelled before using hands to stop the Supernova only to be pushed back by the attack.

Cooler: Yes! Struggle all you want! It's over! That's what you get for disgracing my family!

Bardock was pushed back on to the ground as he desperately tried to hold back the Supernova.

Bardock: I will not let you destroy my home!

Unfortunately Bardock was lose his footing and start to be crushed by the Supernova. Cooler watched from afar and continued laughing believing that his victory was certain.

Cooler: I decide who lives and who dies! All living beings are mere playthings to me! No one will ever be able to match my strength and cunning!

As he boasted about his strength, the Supernova started to rise back up. Cooler noticed and was shocked to see this happen.

Cooler: WHAT?!

Bardock managed to regain his footing and stand back up before using every ounce of power he had left to start moving the Supernova back. Determined to win, Bardock roared before using his Final Spirit Cannon to launch the Supernova upwards toward Cooler.

Cooler: No! That's impossible! Curse you Saiyan!

Cooler was pushed back by the attack and launched straight in to space.

Cooler: You blasted Saiyan, this can't hold me! I'm going to get and when I do I'll rip you to pieces! Huh...

Cooler realized that he was headed straight for the Sun. The moment he and his Supernova reached the Sun, Cooler was bombarded by the heat.

Cooler: Damn you Saiyan... DAAAAAAAAAAAMN YOUUUUUUUUUU!

The Supernova went off and exploded.

Everything went dark for a bit but the Sun's light would light up everything. Bardock was on the ground back in base form and exhausted. Bardock had his eyes closed but he was still conscious and smiled.

Bardock: It's finally over. I beat Cooler.

?: Never doubted you for a second Grandpa.

Bardock opened his eyes and saw Gohan, Gine, Krillin, and Oolong standing before him.

Bardock: Gine, you're alright.

Gine: I used a Senzu Bean. Just like you did to heal your back wound.

Bardock: Thank God, you're alright.

Gohan: So how does it feel to be a Super Saiyan?

Bardock: It was amazing, honestly. I definitely have to show Kakarot when he comes back.

Krillin: Yeah and I bet Piccolo will be pretty jealous as well.

Oolong: Speaking of Piccolo, shouldn't he be healed up by now?

Gine: We never gave him a Senzu Bean. I used my healing powers to help him out. It's probably best to get to him.

Gohan: Right let's get going.

Before they could do anything, someone appeared from debris.

?: HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!

Everyone was shocked to see Sauzer was still alive.

Sauzer: Look at you all, like a bunch of deer caught in a headlight! Hahahahaha!

Sauzer prepare to strike at them. Everyone braced themselves.

Sauzer: You lose suckers! Now die!

A Special Beam Cannon shot through and through Sauzer's body. Sauzer groaned in pain until he collapsed and died.

Gohan: That was Piccolo's attack.

Bardock smiled.

Bardock: Well looks like he's awake.

Everyone smiled as Gine turned towards the others.

Gine: So, who wants breakfast?

Elsewhere, Piccolo was by a lake and scooped up some water to drink before looking towards the direction the others were in. Piccolo smiled a bit before flying away.

New Namek

A week had passed since Kami came to New Namek. Kami and Moori stood in front of each other with the two shaking hands.

Kami: Thank you for everything, Grand Elder Moori.

Moori: It is no problem at all. I do know that you time is running out. If you want we can use the Dragon Balls to...

Kami: I appreciate the gesture but I don't think it would be right to use the Dragon Balls for my sake.

Moori: I understand. I wish you good luck.

Kami: Same.

Kami walked over to where Goku was standing and grabbed him by the shoulder.

Kami: I'm ready Goku.

Goku nodded in understanding before placing his fingers on his forehead and teleporting with Kami. Next destination, home.

Next time... Goku and Kami return to Earth.
