T27: Running Away.
Later that night, after everyone had gone to bed, Cameron, Rocco, and Leo changed into their out-door clothes and they were now sneaking down the stairs to exit the house through the back door and leave for the forest area of the Tofte mountains with Will and Todd.
Cameron, holding Mickey, wore an orange short sleeve shirt with brown stripes and a brown neck-line, dark blue pants and black and white sneakers with white laces and white and black trims.
Rocco wore a gray short sleeve shirt with two red stripes and a red pocket, dark blue pants and black laceless slip-on sneakers with white trims.
Leo wore a blue short sleeve shirt, blue pants and black and white sneakers with white laces and white and black trims.
"What if our parents call us on our cellphones?" Rocco whispered as he, Cameron and Leo headed downstairs.
"No, they won't. Rocco, we'll be way up in the forest area of the mountains. There's no cell service up there." Cameron whispered as they made it to the bottom of the stairs, entering the dark living-room.
The gang then exited the living-room, entering the foyer, and made their way to the back door.
Leo quietly opened it and he, Cameron and Rocco exited the house, followed by Leo closing it back quietly. They ran off of the porch and into the backyard where they stopped at the bush that Will and Todd were hiding in.
"Psst. The coast is clear." Cameron whispered.
Will then came out of the bush with his backpack on and Todd inside it, with his head poking out, and Will holding a gray 70s flashlight in his right hand.
"You ready?" Will asked.
"Ready." Cameron answered.
"Ready." Rocco added.
"Ready." Leo stated.
"You know you don't have to do this, right? I mean...you can still change your minds if you want to." Will said.
"No way. It's now or never." Cameron said.
"Right." Rocco added.
"I guess so." Will said. "Thank you. You're the best."
"Don't mention it." Cameron said before placing Mickey on the ground. "Do you have your cellphones with you?"
"Yeah, why?" Leo asked.
"If either of your parents try to contact you before we get to the forest part of the mountains and ask about where you are, just tell them you don't know anything." Will said.
"We don't know anything. We don't know how this journey's gonna play out." Leo said.
"Neither do i. And to be honest, i'm really scared." Will said.
"Don't be. It'll all work out. It's gonna be okay." Cameron said.
"I know." Will said.
"Okay." Rocco said.
"Alright." Leo added.
"Okay, let's get a move on." Will said before turned on his flashlight, then he and the gang took off running, heading for their destination.
