T33: The Sheriff Returns.
Back downstairs, the door-bell rang.
"I'll get it." Monica said before getting up off the sofa and going into the foyer, up to the door and opening it, revealing Sheriff Scar. "Hey, Sheriff Scar. Did you find the boys?"
"I'm here for my stepson." Sheriff Scar said. "Where is he?" He asked as he entered inside the home.
Monica closed the door.
"I'm really sorry about what's going on with your stepson, Sheriff, but at the moment, our focus is not on him." Said Monica as she and Sheriff Scar entered into the living-room.
"Listen to me, Monica-"
"No, you listen to me, Sheriff." Said Bill as he walked up to Sheriff Scar, cutting him off. "Your job is not to come here and question me and my family about your missing stepson. Your job is to find my son and his cousins."
"Excuse me. Would somebody like to tell us what's going on? I mean, we know all about the Sheriff's missing stepson from Monica, but...what are you doing back here?" Tracy said.
"I'm here for my stepson, Will Manning." Sheriff Scar said.
"Well, does this have something to do with Cameron, Rocco and Leo running away?" Lulu asked.
"It's about one of them lying to the police yesterday." Sheriff Scar said.
"What?" Olivia said, confused.
"One of the boys lied to the police? About what?" Ned asked.
"About not knowing where my stepson was. I asked Rocco if he had seen Will and he said no. In other words...he lied." Sheriff Scar said.
"Did Rocco really lie to you about not seeing your stepson?" Sky asked.
"Why would he even lie about that?" Dustin asked.
"Oh, he lied. I saw it in his eyes. He looked me dead in my face and lied to me." Sheriff Scar said.
"What, can you see the future or something?" Monica asked.
"Now, i'm gonna ask one more time. Is Will in this house?" Sheriff Scar asked.
"No. He is not here." Tracy answered.
"Is he on the property?" Sheriff Scar asked.
"No." The whole family and Dustin said.
"He was yesterday. Rocco lied to my face and said he wasn't. Now, i can excuse him, 'cause he's just a kid. But it would be a terrible mistake for a bunch of adults to lie to the sheriff." Sheriff Scar said.
"He's right, don't lie to the sheriff." Monica warned.
"I believe he was here." Sheriff Scar said.
"He wasn't here...Sheriff Scar, but three boys in our family ran away last night and they haven't returned." Sky said.
"I think you won't mind if i have a look around for myself." Sheriff Scar said.
"No, no, sheriff, that's not gonna happen." Bill said.
"Mr. Duff, i am gonna find him." Sheriff Scar said.
"Oh, Sheriff...you couldn't find your badge if it had a tracking device on it." Bill joked.
"I can make things difficult for you." Sheriff Scar threatened.
"Like you can do any worse than you already have. You haven't done anything to find Rocco, Leo or my kid." Bill said.
"If Will is here, all of you will be arrested and prosecuted for contributing to the delinquency of a minor." Sheriff Scar warned.
"Okay. Are we done?" Bill asked.
"No, we are not. And that might include your son and those other two missing kids, Mr. Duff. I believe they're with Will right now." Sheriff Scar said.
"Oh, no, no. You leave our children out of this." Olivia said.
"Uh, Olivia, with all due respect to Sheriff Scar, i think the best way to--how shall i put it?--get rid of him...would be to allow him to search the house. We all know his stepson has never been here." Monica said.
"We'll see about that." Sheriff Scar said before he headed upstairs, with Monica and Bill following after him.
Once they made it to the top of the stairs, they stopped in their tracks and Sheriff Scar got his black hand-gun out of it's holster with his right hand.
"Oh, come on. Are guns really necessary?" Monica said.
Sheriff Scar didn't answer. He just resumed moving through the house, with Monica and Bill following.
"Sheriff, put your gun away and get out of here." Bill ordered as Sheriff Scar opened a door and pointed his gun in the room, only to find that no one was inside, so he closed it back.
"Where is your son's room?" Sheriff Scar demanded.
"There." Said Bill, pointing at another door.
Sheriff Scar went over to the other door and grabbed it's knob with his left hand.
"Put the gun away, you're gonna scare-"
Sheriff Scar cut Monica off by opening the door and pointing the gun inside the room as he entered inside.
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" Alice and Brooklyn screamed.
