Dan, Shun, Marucho, Mira, Ace and Spectra were dating their goodbyes, after their long journey,
"Quite a ride, we had." Dan said with his usual smirk,
"Thank you- all of you, we wouldn't be where we are now without you." Mira said hugging Dan. Dan hugged back, they held each other for minutes, Dan let go and they said their goodbyes. They waved as Dan, Shun and Marucho left. Mira waved and felt a wave of sadness come over her, she was happy that everything was over, but she lost Dan, she had feelings for him that she couldn't explain.
The next few days Mira, Keith and Gus moved back into their old house, It was large enough that Gus could move in with them, since he was now apart of the family.
Mira walked into her old room and put her things back in the closet, she walked over and sat on her bed, she looked over at a photo frame of; her, Keith and her Father, back when Mira was 7, and Keith being 10. A tear rolled down Mira's eye. She took out the photo and replaced it with one of the Resistance. She lay down from the exhaustion of unpacking everything and feel asleep. She woke up a few hours later to watch the sunset.
A few days had past and Mira still had not gotten over Dan. She wanted to see Dan but not make it obvious that she just wanted Dan. She came up with an Idea. She walked downstairs to ask her brother "Can we throw a house warming party?" Mira asked. Keith was watching TV, he looked over at Mira and asked "say again?" "A house warming party." She said Keith looked at her "You don't usually like throwing parties." He replied "I just want to throw one!" Mira said "missing Mr Dan Kuso a little extra I see" Keith responded "I don't like him" Mira said back. "That 7 minute hug says different." Keith said with a smirk Mira looked angrily at Keith. "Just remember, people just want to watch the world burn if they don't get what they want, keep a close eye on who's close to him." Keith said. Mira looked confused at him, "now if you'll excuse me, I have to make arrangements with Gus about this surprise party, you should tell everyone you want to invite to this party." Keith said
Mira got onto her computer and FaceTimed everyone that she wanted to invite.
The night had arrived for their house warming party, Everyone was dressed nice and neat, Everyone was enjoying themselves talking. Dan and Shun were talking about Shun going into his senior year in school and Dan going into his junior, they were cut off all of a sudden by Runo, "sorry shun but i need to borrow Dan for a minute." She said as she pulled Dan away they slow danced for a while before Dan pulled away, walking out into the balcony, where he saw Mira, "hey, what are you doing out here all by yourself?" Dam asked "Nothing just enjoying the stars." Mira said blushing, "why aren't you with Runo?" Mira asked "I had to take a break, her whining made my head hurt." "That's not very nice," Mira said giggling, "yeah, well it's the truth, she's like a false advertisement" Dan continued, they atmosphere was quiet, while they both looked on into the stars. "Hey Dan, their having a huge brawl, and they wondered if you wanted to join." Runo shouted. Without a moments hesitation Dan ran off leaving Mira alone once more, "you two were so close, what were you talking about?!" Runo demanded "Nothing that concerns you, Runo." Mira said starting to walk off. Runo grabbed Mira by the arm "back off" Mira said shaking off her hand, "Keep away from him, you slut!" Runo said taking a swing at Mira. Mira blocked, kicking Runo in the side, with Runo landings punch on Mira in the neck, making her cough blood, Runo then hit Mira's face against the railing, then kicked her through the glass door, hitting her head on the floor, everyone stopped to see Mira bleeding and unconscious, "The bitch had it coming." Runo said "Jesus Christ all mighty." Shun said Keith came running in to see what was going on, he saw Mira on the floor and ran to her side. He picked her up and ran out. Dan came in just as Keith ran out with Mira, "what the hell happened?" Dan asked Shun as everyone left, " I don't know, all I saw was that Mira got hit through the glass door and Runo was there. Runo was no where to be found, but Dan didn't look for him since he helped Gus clean up, "do you know what happened?" Gus asked Dan picking up the glass, "No, I was battling, when it all happened." Dan said picking up all the cups. "Apparently, Runo and Mira started throwing hands, but something happened and Runo got the advantage, Gus said still picking up glass "Keith told me Mira was into you, it seems Runo knew as well." Gus said "I think she does, it would explain a lot but Runo is a selfish person so I wouldn't be surprised if she wanted to fight Mira if she found that out." Dan said.
Keith came back a few hours later, Gus and Dan were washing the dishes and throwing everything away, "Mira is fine, although she will need stitches." Keith said, looking at the broken window. "You didn't need to stay Dan, you could have left when everyone else did." Keith said again, "I felt like I should have stayed, besides I was the last one she spoke to before this. Dan continued "you know she likes you Dan. She wants to date you." Keith said "So do I" Dan responded.
