Ch6

Netto continued to practice the moves Naruto taught. It's tiring but its pretty fun. He punched the air and did a few of the kicks Naruto showed him. I wonder what this ninja world is like? Naruto talked a lot about his world, he found it interesting though he wasn't sure if he would survive since he wasn't a ninja.

His body was tired after doing the short ten minute workout so he sat on the bench and drank some water. Mom and Dad must have forgotten they brought me. Not that I mind having Naruto visit is fun. Looking up at the sky he stretched his legs and got up when he heard the familiar sound of Naruto's jutsu.

"Hey Naruto how are you doing," he asked as he hi fived his friend. Naruto set a large bag down next to him that contained what looked like a lot of supplies.

The blonde ninja smiled at him. "Great I was doing some training with my sensei."

"Sensei? What's he like?" He asked

"Oh he is super cool. He's a great ninja," Naruto said. "Anyway want to practice sparring?"

"Sure I was just going over the techniques you showed me," he said. Naruto nodded and they both did some stretches before getting into a fighting stance.

He through some punches which Naruto easily blocked. The blonde moved with ease and he could barely counter his attacks. He knew Naruto was going easy on him but he still was having a hard time with fighting and Naruto eventually got the better of him.

"Don't worry I'm sure you'll get the hang of it," Naruto said once they were done.

"Thanks," he sighed.

"Anyway want to learn how to throw shuriken and kunai knives?" Naruto asked.

"Sure!" He said as Naruto went over to his bag and pulled out pouch.

"Here I got this for you," Naruto said handing the pouch to him. "Be careful they are sharp."

"Thanks," he said as he took the pouch. Opening it he saw that it had a few throwing knives and shuriken inside of them. Carefully taking one out he felt the cold steel against his hand. "Wow these are real."

"Yeah they are," Naruto said as he set up a large target against the tree. "Don't worry I'll show you how to use them. First let me show you how to hold them."

First they worked with the kunai knife. It felt cold against his hand but the weight wasn't too bad. Naruto first showed him how hold it and grab it from his bag. It was harder than it looked but after a few times accidently cutting himself he was able to hold it correctly, throwing it was another story.

Shuriken were much easier to throw, he managed to at least hit the target a few times. "Wow these are harder to use than they look," he said rubbing his sore fingers.

Naruto nodded. "Yeah we often train a lot we can have a break if you want."

"Sure want to go into town and get some ice cream?" He asked.

"Sounds good," Naruto said with a smile.

They arrived at the nice ice cream shop in down and he quickly bought them both ice cream. "Hope you like it," he said as they began to eat their ice cream.

"Thanks it's delicious," Naruto said. "Thanks for treating me, if you even come to my world I'll make it up to you."

"No problem," He said. "So what's it like in your ninja world?"

"Oh it's great," Naruto said. "I mean we don't have a lot of technology but it's fun. How about you? Your world seems interesting."

"It is. Though a lot of people cause problems on the internet which means problems in real life so I end up having to help people," he said. "I hope I can continue to help people, unlike you I can't really fight without Rockman."

"Yeah you mentioned that," Naruto said. "Don't worry I'm sure you'll be a great fighter in no time."

"Thanks. I'm glad to show you around," he said. With that they finished their ice cream and headed into town to look around.

"Oh Netto do you have friends that help you with these cyber problems?" Naruto asked as they passed by some stores.

"Yeah I have some friends who help me though some are more like colleagues," he said scratching his head. "Lets just say that not all of them are nice to me and think they are better than me for various reasons."

"I know what that's like," Naruto muttered. "I was treated horribly growing up by a lot of people."

He frowned at Naruto. "What for you're a great guy?"

"Thanks. The thing is I'm sort of hos the Nine Tailed Fox who attacked my village a long time ago," Naruto said. "A lot of people wouldn't give me a chance, they only saw me as the host of the fox."

"Sounds rough. I'm sorry you had to be treated like that," he said. "You seem like a great friend, I hope people will treat you better."

Naruto smiled at him. "Thanks. They are starting too, I'm already getting use to my teammates."

"That's good," he said looking up at the sky. "I sort have gotten used to my teammates even if they don't like me at times. To be honest sometimes I don't feel appreciated with them."

It wasn't something he often likes to talk about. But certain people who he worked with as net savers often treated him poorly and even though he does his best to get along with them sometimes he just can't stand the treatment of said people.

"I get what that's like," Naruto said as they passed by the neighborhood park. "Don't worry I'm sure they'll appreciate you, if not I'm sure you could find other people to work with."

"True," he said. "Though at times they can be jerks." Enzan and Laika were both friendly at times and sometimes assholes.

Naruto frowned. "That sucks. Oh hey out of curiosity how are things with your parents? I noticed that they've been gone for a while."

He shifted in his seat. "It's complicated. They are having marital problems." A pang hit his heart, he still hoped that they could work things out but they seemed to be fighting more and more.

"Sorry to hear that," Naruto said softly looking down.

"Thanks," he sighed. "To be honest my dad sometimes loves work more than his family and because of that my mom resents him." He rubbed his eyes with his sleeve. The memories of his parents constant fighting echoed in his head. "That's why we came here for this vacation, hopefully they can work things out."

Naruto gave him a sympathetic look his bright blue eyes seemed almost watery. "That sucks. I wished I had parents, I sometimes wonder what they would've been like growing up."

He nodded pushing down the emotions. "They did love each other. I think they just need to relite the spark." Shaking his head he looked at the blonde ninja. "I hope they can fix their relationship but for that you need two people."

"True," Naruto said softly. "Do you think they could? You know reignite that spark?"

"I don't know," he sighed pushing down the feelings. "Personally I hope so. Their fighting is starting to get annoying" Even if my dad sometimes loves his work more. Sadly sometimes his dad sometimes preferred his job over his family many times in his life. That is why his relationship with mom and to an extent me became strained.

"I hope so too," Naruto said looking him in the eyes. "Hopefully they can work things out. Do you have other friends to help you?"

"Sort of," he said scratching his head. "Sometimes I don't want to bother them."

"You have friends before those teammates right?" Naruto asked. "You know besides those that sometimes treat you badly."

"Yeah I do," he said. "But they also have their lives and I don't always want to bother them."

"I see," Naruto said. "Well you should talk about it with someone. If you want I could be an ear to you?"

"Thanks," he said with a small smile. "Rockman has always helped me through these tough times.

Naruto nodded. "Good to know. I'm here if you ever need anything."

"Thanks," he said. "Anyway lets do something else." With that they headed home, both eager to continue their summer.

Naruto smiled at him his face turning red. "Thanks. I'm glad we are friends even if we haven't seen each other in a while."

"True but you have helped me quite a bit already," he said.

"Netto kun," Rockman said from his PET. "We have an emergency."

"What is it?" he asked quickly.

"A cyber attack against another bank," Rockman said.

"Great lets stop it from here," he said.

Naruto nodded and picked up his PET, "Yeah lets do this."

They quickly ran to his room where his computer was.

"Plug in Rockman!"

"Plug in Kyuu!"

Rockman raced to the mainframe of the bank with the fox navi by his side. "Lets have some fun Rockman," Kyuu said with a smile as he drew a pair of kunai knives.

He nodded and activated his buster. "Yeah lets do this.

When they arrived at the bank's cyber square it was full of viruses and a familiar knight navi in the middle. "Paladin!" he said as he fired a few shots at him.

Paladin turned around and laughed from beneath his helmet. "Sorry but I'm afraid that this will be goodbye, I'm awfully busy please understand."

He fired his Rock buster but a few viruses intercepted the attack. "Don't worry leave this to me," Kyuu said as drew a short sword and lunged at the viruses quickly taking them out.

"Long sword slot in," Netto said as a sword appeared on his hand.

He lunged at Paladin with Kyuu the knight navi who blocked their attacks with a long sword. "Foolish boys I have no time for this," Paladin sneered. "Now begone!"

Paladin swung his sword at them causing a violent wind to pass through the area. He tried to get his bearings but fell to his knees. "Don't worry I got this," Kyuu said as he charged at Paladin.

The fox navi moved so fast he could hardly see him. In one move he was in front of Paladin and slashed at him with his sword. The knight navi took a few steps back. "What in blazes are you?"

Kyuu laughed, "Your worst nightmare. Fox claw!" Kyuu slashed at Paladin, the knight navi screamed as Kyuu's claws sliced through him effortlessly causing him to log out.

Wow he really is strong. Kyuu came over to him and offered a hand. "Thanks," he said.

"No problem now lets clean this place up," Kyuu said.
