Netto woke up that morning feeling sore. Man those exercises they've been having me do have been making me more and more sore. He got up and stretched and left his room, walking down the hall he peeked into the room Naruto was using.
The blonde ninja was awake doing pushups on the floor shirtless. He watched as Naruto did his pushups, despite them both being twelve Naruto had a good set of muscles that he couldn't help but admire.
He is strong I'm glad I have could meet him. He enjoyed the blonde ninja's company, this summer would've been much more boring without him.
He went back to his room deciding against interrupting his friend's morning workout. After getting ready for the day he booted up his computer. "Hey Kyuu do you mind if I run some diagnostics on you?"
The fox net navi nodded, "Of course." Naruto's netnavi was their secret since according to Naruto his teacher might not like it.
He began to run some scans on Kyuu. The fox navi was a bit taller and more muscular than Rockman and his states seemed stronger than most navis. "Well you have strong attack stats," he said. "You have an amazing design, whatever my dad's scan did on Naruto it did it well."
Kyuu smiled at him, "Thank you Netto. I hope to be of service to you and Naruto, even if my operator's world isn't fit for me."
"True Naruto mentioned that to me," he said scratching his head. Apparently after talking with Kakashi they both decided it would be safer for Kyuu to stay here in his world for a variety of reasons.
He looked at the fox navi and folded his arms. "You'll be staying with us but you can't cause any trouble ok?"
Kyuu smiled at him, "I'm looking forward to it."
He continued to look at Kyuu's data to make sure nothing was amiss. Not bad, he really is a powerhouse. I'll have to be cautious if I ever have to use him. The few times he practiced net battling with Kyuu Rockman was put on the defensive for a while. I created something powerful, I'll have to make sure he doesn't get into any trouble. For now he and Rockman decided it would be best to keep Kyuu a secret between them
"Alright Kyuu I'm done. I'll let you know when I need you again," he said.
"Of course," Kyuu said with a small bow.
When he went down stairs he found Naruto's teacher Kakashi drinking coffee. "Hello Kakashi sensei," he said with a bow.
"Good morning Netto did you sleep well?" Kakashi asked.
"Yeah I did how about you?" he asked as he got himself some food. "Hope you enjoyed the couch."
"It was comfortable thanks for asking," Kakashi said. "Thank you for allowing me to stay here."
"No problem I hope you find my world satisfactory," he said.
"It is nice," Kakashi said. "I see no threat in it. But I have to be careful, Naruto is my student and I am responsible for him."
"I understand," he said. "Thanks for letting him continue to see me, this summer was getting pretty boring."
"I get that," Kakashi sighed. "To be honest this world is less tense than ours."
"Is Naruto really busy in your world?" He asked.
"Not at the moment but he may have to leave for missions occasionally," Kakashi said. "We'll be retuning today quickly, we have things to do."
"I see well I'm glad to have met him for this short amount of time," he said.
"Hey guys good morning," Naruto said as he walked into the room.
"Morning," he and Kakashi said. "Um I was wondering if you guys wanted to hang out at the beach before you go?"
Naruto's eyes became as wide as his smile. "Sure!" The blonde then turned to his sensei. "Kakashi-sensei can we go please."
Kakashi folded his arms and nodded. "Sure I don't mind."
"Great lets go," he said. After they all gathered their things they quickly took the best to the beach. Kakashi decided to read his novel in the shade leaving him and Naruto to hang out by themselves.
Under the warm sun and against the backdrop of the tranquil waves, he and Naruto found themselves on a sandy beach, taking a well-deserved break from their respective worlds' demands. The sound of the ocean's gentle rhythm created a soothing melody, harmonizing with the laughter and conversation that filled the air.
Naruto, his familiar orange jumpsuit a stark contrast against the golden sands, stretched his arms as he let out a content sigh. "Man, this is the life, isn't it?"
He, his usually energetic demeanor mellowed by the serene surroundings, nodded in agreement. "Definitely. It's nice to just kick back and relax for a change."
With all that was said and done he decided he might as well celebrate with Naruto on the beach. As they settled onto the beach towels they had laid out, he couldn't help but admire Naruto's carefree spirit and the ease with which he embraced the simple pleasures. His gaze lingered for a moment, unconsciously appreciating the way the sunlight played on Naruto's features, highlighting his spirited blue eyes and the lines of his toned physique.
Naruto noticed his lingering gaze and grinned playfully. "Hey, you're staring."
His cheeks flushed with embarrassment, and he quickly averted his gaze. "Oh, uh, sorry about that."
Naruto laughed, his voice carrying a hint of mischief. "No need to apologize. I'm used to people staring at me by now."
He chuckled, his own embarrassment subsiding as he realized how comfortable he felt around Naruto. "Well, you do stand out, that's for sure."
Their conversation shifted to a more serious tone as he cleared his throat. "You know, Naruto, I've been thinking a lot about our friendship."
Naruto's expression softened, his attention focused on him. "Yeah? What about it?"
His gaze met Naruto's, his sincerity evident. "I've come to realize that you've become a really important friend to me. Even though our worlds are so different, I feel a strong connection to you."
Naruto's smile held a warmth that mirrored the sun's rays. "I feel the same way. Despite the distance between our worlds, I'm grateful to have you as a friend."
His voice held a mixture of determination and affection. "I promise to be there for you, Naruto, no matter what challenges come our way. Just like you've been there for me."
Naruto's blue eyes held a genuine appreciation. "And I promise the same. Friends have each other's backs, no matter what."
As they exchanged promises, the weight of their words seemed to resonate within the gentle breeze that swept over the beach. It was a testament to the depth of their connection, a bond forged in the midst of their shared experiences and mutual understanding.
Naruto's tone turned thoughtful as he continued, "You know, there's something unique about our friendship. It's like our worlds coming together was meant to happen."
His smile held a touch of wonder. "I feel that too, Naruto. It's like fate brought us together, and I wouldn't trade our friendship for anything."
Naruto smiled at him. "Don't worry we'll be in touch believe it!"
The waves lapped gently at the shore, a reminder of the ebb and flow of time and life. As the sun began its descent toward the horizon, he and Naruto found solace in each other's company. In the midst of their laughter, conversations, and shared promises, they discovered that true friendship transcended the boundaries of time, space, and worlds, creating a connection that could weather any storm and shine as brightly as the sun on the horizon.
AN: Well here is the end of the story, sorry it wasn't much. I originally wrote a rough draft for this a long time ago, who knows I may write more about Netto and Naruto's friendship long ago.
