Authors Note: Hey Everyone! Here is another Chapter that is on the shorter side. I wanted to get this Chapter out on Tuesday but I was pretty sick that day and just kept getting sicker throughout the week. I just started feeling better yesterday. All of you have been patiently waiting for this Chapter. Alvin and Simon are reunited, however Simon is still unconscious. So anything said by Simon is just in his head like when Dave was in the hospital. In the last Chapter in the Authors Notes I told you I was going to try and start working on a South Park Story. Well I have started it an have written 22 pages of it since Mid to Late May. The last time I wrote that much was probably in 2018. I had forgotten how amazing it feels to just have countless ideas popping into my head and deciding what way the story is going to go and the pace of how the characters develop. So I am happy to announce that at some point in the future I will be publishing this new South Park story I am working on. As for this story you have noticed the Chapters are shorter but on the bright side I am updating more than once a year now. lol Hopefully in the next couple of months I will have another Chapter out for you guys. But till then enjoy!
Chapter 53
Heart-to-Heart Talk
Reminder: Simon is still unconscious. So anything said by Simon is just in his head like when Dave was in the hospital.
Alvin sat at Simon's hospital bed, his heart heavy with guilt and love. He tightly gripped Simon's hand.
Alvin: Hey, Simon, I don't know if you can hear me, but I need to say this. It's all my fault what happened to you. The kidnappers wanted me, but they settled for you. And I can't help but feel responsible for all of it. He said whispering.
Simon: Alvin, please don't blame yourself. It wasn't your fault. You couldn't have known that this was going to happen.
Alvin: Simon I'm your big brother, and it's my job to keep you safe and I let you down.
Simon: Alvin, you've always been there for me. You've protected me countless times, and I know how much you care. You've always done more for me than I could ever ask for.
Alvin's eyes welled up with tears, his voice cracking as he spoke from his heart.
Alvin: I love you, Simon. You mean everything to me. And it kills me to see you like this, to know that you're in pain because of me.
Simon: Alvin, please don't blame yourself. I don't blame you. We've faced countless challenges together, and we've always come out stronger. You're my brother and my lover, Alvin, and I wouldn't want anyone else by my side!
Alvin's tears streamed down his face, his voice filled with love.
Alvin: I miss you, Simon. I miss your calm and reasonable thinking, your witty remarks. I even miss the arguing. We need you, Simon but most importantly I need you. Please, wake up soon. I can't stand to see you like this!
Simon: Alvin, I miss you too. I miss your laughter, our late-night talks, and your crazy ideas. I didn't quite fighting when I was kidnapped and I won't stop fighting to wake up because I want to be by your side again.
Alvin tightened his grip on Simon's hand, his voice filled with determination.
Alvin: Simon, I want you to know our bond is unbreakable. Nothing can come between us. I'll be right here, waiting for you, every step of the way. You're my brother, my partner in crime, my best friend, and most importantly… my lover!
Just then Dave, Theodore, and Dr. Riley come back into the room.
Dave: Alvin, I know you want to talk to Simon more but you need to remember you are still recovering too. Come on now let's get you back to your own bed.
Alvin reluctantly released Simon's hand. Dave pushes Alvin to his bed and Theodore pulls back the sheets on Alvin's hospital bed. Soon Alvin is settled into bed.
Dr. Riley checks Simon's monitors and checks on the tubes and wires.
Dr. Riley: Alvin, your love and dedication to your brother is impressive, but you must also remember to take care of your own health. Simon is receiving the best possible care, and we're doing everything we can to help him but you need to rest too, so you can help him recover once he is awake.
Alvin nodded at Dr. Riley.
Alvin: I understand, Dr. Riley. But please, promise me you'll do everything you can to help Simon wake up. He's my everything, and I can't stand to see him like this.
Dr. Riley placed a reassuring hand on Alvin's shoulder.
Dr. Riley: Alvin, we're doing everything in our power to help Simon recover. We won't give up on him. In the meantime, I want you to focus on getting stronger. Your love and support will be vital for Simon's recovery when he wakes up.
As Alvin nodded, he couldn't help but say one last thing to Simon before going to sleep.
Alvin: I'll be here, Simon, waiting for you. I love you, and I'll never stop fighting for you!
