(A/N):
Thank you all for your patience!
A young woman with shoulder length pink hair with a maid attire entered the room as she carried out breakfast plates which consisted of a variety of different types of dishes. The sweet aroma of syrup and hotcakes filled the room and everyone was excited to try out the food that the hotel had provided.
The maid then went off to leave the room, before unknowingly giving a glance at Natsu who was mesmerized by the mini feast that was provided to him as drool was already forming from looking at the food.
Everyone gave their thanks to the lady and everyone began to dive into their delicious food.
Natsu was stuffing his face immediately on what his hands could get on, whether it was the tacos, omelets, waffles or even drowning down on the orange juice provided.
Erza had settled on pancakes topped off with strawberries and whip cream, with syrup to go with it.
Jellal had done the same, except with blueberries and adding a couple of strawberries to the side with chocolate drizzled and a cup of orange juice on the side.
Gray just had a cup of water to go with plain fluffy pancakes and original maple syrup.
Juvia felt that she was intruding on their feast but everyone insisted that she got a plate too, so she settled down on a plate of waffles with a glass of milk.
As everyone had finished, they took a small break and continued to wait on Gajeel. However, the more they waited, the more worried everyone was becoming.
"Juvia tried calling Gajeel-Kun multiple times, but it goes straight to voicemail.", Juvia slightly frowned as she showed everyone Gajeel's message.
'If I'm not answering ya', I'm busy. Call back later.', was Gajeel's set up voice-mail.
"Does anyone know where he could've gone?", Erza asked.
Everyone answered, 'no' and was now getting confused. He wouldn't just leave before telling them, or maybe he would, but he would at least have his phone off. Unless it died.
Natsu's eyebrows furrowed as he tried to recall what may have happened the night before if that could point out where Gajeel must've gone.
"Hey Jellal, do you remember what happened yesterday?"
Jellal was quiet for a moment before he expressed his thoughts.
"All I recall is all of us, including Gajeel, went off to the first floor to have a couple of drinks and then I returned to the hotel room before you guys did who knows what else.", He spoke out.
"Why don't we all head down there then?", Gray suggested.
"Alright, I'll go. Who knows what might oh happened to screws for brains.", Natsu spoke out, although he wouldn't admit he was slightly worried for him. He then quickly went to his room to retrieve some motion-sickness medicine as he assumed they were gonna take the elevator on the way down.
Erza nodded, "It's settled then, Juvia and I will wait here while you all try to figure out what's going on."
Jellal didn't expect to be volunteered on his behalf, but he didn't complain. He went to give Erza a light peck on the cheek and the three continued off to the elevator that was many floors down.
Erza had a light blush coated on her cheeks, but didn't say anything else as she and Juvia exited the room as well to see if anyone next door may have seen their missing friends.
As the blue-haired man walked off with the two childish supposedly men, they entered the spacious elevator and Gray went ahead to press the '1' signaling the first floor, it didn't go unnoticed by Natsu who whined how it was no fair that he got to press the button, but the two other men including other people in the elevator rolled their eyes at the sight.
Finally as elevator music was playing to the next stop, it finally reached the bottom as everyone headed out.
Natsu gave a sigh of relief as he felt the ground had stopped moving.
Finally the group of 3 had walked towards their right where the bar was in a restricted area. There they saw 2 men guarding the entrance while a bartender was busy cleaning shot glasses, one would say it's like watching a scene from a movie.
The two men standing were checking for I.D as people were In a line and Natsu's face grew white. "Uhh- I kinda forgot my wallet.", Natsu whispered.
Jellal and Gray immediately facepalmed. "How about checking your pockets?", Jellal asked as he internally groaned. It was like raising kids with these two, but only except the children being replaced by two grown men.
Natsu checked his pocket and he noticed that he indeed had his card in hand. As he pulled it out, a small piece of pink paper had fallen out which he didn't notice.
"Hey, what's that?", Gray asked as he picked the piece of paper up.
Natsu looked curiously at the small pink paper that was folded. "I don't know."
As Gray began unfolding it, the group was now huddled close looking at what it revealed.
'I had a nice time with you last night, I hope you could meet me again for the next event tonight :D
-Lucy'
Gray had to look over that message again to see if he read it correctly. Natsu? Is this chick even sure she got it in the right pocket? Then again this Lucy person was a supposed witness at his wedding?
Natsu was dumbfounded, but gave a small chuckle at the message. "What a weirdo, who gives out notes nowadays? And who's Luigi?"
Both Gray and Jellal glanced at him. "Uh, Natsu. Her name is actually Lucy."
Natsu looked confused."Lucy? Looks like a Luigi to me."
Both retained themselves for slapping the childish man they call a friend.
"Wait, what's this event going on tonight?", Jellal asked.
"It's a masquerade event.", a deep voice spoke out. All three men looked up and almost jumped out of fear from the voice appearing from nowhere.
They all looked up to see an older man who had a black suit on and a pair of shades, he had graying hair as well as a name tag that spelled out 'CAP' that was clipped on his handkerchief pocket.
"Now may I please see some I.D?", He asked sincerely.
All three pulled it out without any questions asked.
He looked down at the provided I.Ds and glanced at their faces, although he took a longer look at Natsu's face who just stood there.
"21 I see?", the man asked curiously.
"Oh yeah, just turned 21 a month ago actually.", Natsu responded with a toothy grin.
The bouncer slowly nodded, then let them go as he gave all their IDs back.
Natsu didn't sense anything wrong with that interaction, except for his friends. But they decided they were gonna ask when they got away from the bar.
As they went to see where the bartender was located, they saw a group of girls surrounding who they assumed was the bartender as he was working behind the bar as they were giggling at whatever he said.
He had a usual bartender fit as he was wearing a black long-sleeve top with black trousers and a fancy black vest. He was also wearing a pair of glasses and had orange, spiky hair that almost resembled a lion. His name tag read 'LOKE'.
As the group awkwardly saw the man flirt with the younger women, he finally noticed them.
"Ah, I see you've come back for another round of drinks?", He asked the recognizable group that he recalled serving the night before.
The three immediately said 'no'.
"We were wondering if you remember seeing our other friend? The one with the long black hair and piercings?", Jellal asked politely.
Loke gave a moment before answering, "No, I'm sorry, I don't recall. Perhaps he had run off with a lovely lady?", Loke insinuated with raised eyebrows.
Gray and Natsu made disgusted faces without Jellal noticing.
Jellal gave a light chuckle. "No we don't believe so, we were wondering if maybe you might have seen him leave yesterday or have security footage?"
Loke nodded, "I admit I don't remember much of him, but I know you two", He glanced towards Natsu and Gray, "had made a ruckus down here while fighting.", He answered.
"Especially you.", He glanced up towards Natsu, who was a bit confused.
"Me?", Natsu pointed at himself.
Loke gave a sigh, "You two, or rather three, had nearly woken up almost everyone who was on the first few floors up. There were many noise complaints. And before we could actually do anything, you guys managed to move to the VIP section area over there", Loke motioned over to a corner where the door was locked away with a big door and someone keeping watch.
"But YOU were the loudest and apparently got ahold of some of our fireworks meant for Ms.Lu- uh the heiress' birthday a day from now.", He glared.
Honestly he wasn't so sure what Lucy saw in this- this supposed man? He's never met someone so troublesome.
Natsu immediately cowered down in embarrassment, but quickly thought of a solution.
"Um, is there anyway I could talk to the owner here? I could pay for damages and provide some more fireworks-"
Loke raised a brow in amusement. "You can do all that?"
The two men watching the conversation nodded in agreement, "actually he can. His dad actually has a company that relates to fireworks as well as being one of the CEOs for Fairytail.", Jellal confirmed.
Loke was shocked at that mention, but regained a composed expression.
"I see, well I'll let the Heartfilias know.", Loke responded as he excused himself from the bar as he headed towards the back, most likely going to take a call.
As he left, Natsu whined at the two men near him. "I'm more than just my old man, ya know."
Gray rolled his eyes. "It was the easiest way to get his attention, besides you're only a firefighter without his reputation."
Natsu grumbled in annoyance, "whatever you say droopy eyes."
Before Gray could even counter his 'nickname', Jellal gave a small glare that shut both of them up.
As both awaited, Jellal mentally facepalmed himself as he forgot to mention to Loke about the surveillance cameras to look for their missing friend.
Before Jellal could call out for the dressed up bartender, the small group of girls that Loke was flirting with earlier had their attention directed towards the group of men.
"So I hear you're rich?", a girl twirled a lock of her hair as she glanced up and down at the salmon haired man. .
Natsu looked at her as he noticed that she did some weird gestures as she flirtatiously glanced at his onyx colored eyes. "Uh, I guess.", He stated in a bored tone.
Everytime some girl found out he came from money, they always acted this way for some weird reason. Although Gray and Jellal, even Erza, had mentioned to stay away from people like that.
"Do you wanna come visit me sometime then?", the girl asked as she looked at him with her pale blue eyes as she subtly bit her lip.
At this, Natsu looked a bit uncomfortable and slowly walked back further away.
"Sorry, he already has someone.", Gray smirked as he crossed his arms.
Jellal looked a bit confused, but then gave a light chuckle as he realized what he was doing.
The girl pouted at what he said and the girls surrounding her glared at the black-haired male.
"Well then, where is she?", she asked again. She was determined to grab the attention of the rich bachelor, and she was willingly to play dirty.
At that the men weren't sure exactly what to say, but Natsu just said the first thing that came out of his mouth.
"Luigi is up there waiting in one of the rooms.", He burst out.
If it didn't help that the name was for a male, it was also the other people glancing at the source of that sentence. Even the two bouncers looked at him, especially Cap as he was slightly confused, yet amused.
Other people began to whisper amongst themselves as they pointed out his 'pink hair' as well as people stating 'they knew it'.
The girl was immediately embarrassed as she tried to sputter out that she didn't know he 'swung that way'.
There was another awkward silence and Natsu was stuck with a smug expression on his face as he didn't have to see her weird expressions again.
"Well what about you?", another girl spoke out.
She had green eyes and beautiful vibrant red hair.
As Gray was about to open his mouth and give a reply, Natsu immediately answered for him.
"He's married."
The redhead immediately became annoyed, but noticed that he didn't have a ring present on his finger.
"Well, I don't see a ring on your finger.", she spoke as she motioned his left hand.
"Are you saying that just because he doesn't have a ring, he can't be married?", a new voice pointed out from behind the 3 men.
Natsu and Gray immediately jumped out as they heard the familiarity of Erza's voice, however Jellal only smiled.
"Juvia is the one who's married to Gray-sama.", Juvia spoke out and immediately stared down towards the redhead who clearly tried to hit on the ravenette.
The red head immediately looked away out of fear and began to apologize.
However it seemed the fire only fueled more as a brunette had asked Jellal if he was taken.
She was shut up really quick when she saw him show her an engagement ring and the red-headed woman gave her a fierce glare.
As the group of now sober women got up, they awkwardly left and put down cash for their drinks without looking at the group.
A tapping noise of two glasses clinking together drew the attention of the group as they turned around and saw Loke serving drinks to other arriving customers.
"So you wanted the footage?"
