Chapter 5 Bloody Revelations
The news is once again a buzz about the capture of Toga Himiko. The people viewed the capture as one less potential threat to society. However, the people had no idea what Himiko's arrest would mean to their world view. Inside a cold interrogation room, Himiko sits. Waiting for the police to ask their stupid questions and send her off to juvie or jail.
"Is it always this long?" Himiko wonders. Maybe they forgotten about her? Sadly, her hopes were dashed when a man and a woman enter.
"Toga Himiko. Age sixteen, quirk: transformation. By ingesting blood, you become the person, correct?" The police officer asked. She nods. "Normally we would review the crimes you've committed." The woman steps towards the desk. She's dress in black pinstripe suit and has short straight auburn hair and brown colored eyes. She has an air of professionalism yet appears to be a gentle woman.
"But before that, I want to give you an evaluation." The woman said. "I'm a quirk psychologist. My name is Kanna Shizuka."
"I already underwent therapy." Himiko groans. "My parents wanted to make me normal."
"Care to tell us what kind of therapy?"
"Quirk suppression therapy." The girl looks at the two before her. The woman looks like she just swallowed something bitter. The police officer looks stoic, uncaring about the villain sitting in front of him.
"I see…" The woman said slowly as she writes down on her paper notepad. "What kind of suppression therapy did you go through?"
"It's been so long I can barely remember… I think… I think…" She tries her hardest to remember those days. The first day her parents dropped her off at the clinic she was checked in and met a man with bright orange eyes.
"Now Toga. Drinking blood is bad. Your parents want you to be a normal girl and a normal girl is what you will be understand?"
"But I like blood! It's so pretty!" The man's eyes begin to glow orange. Suddenly, her head starts to ache. She wanted to look away from the eyes but try as she might, she can't.
"Toga… Drinking blood is not normal. Normal girls are good girls." Her head begins to hurt even more. It felt like her head was going to split in half. "You must NEVER DRINK BLOOD, understand?"
"I… Must never… I must never drink blood…" She repeats.
"I have to schedule more appointments to ensure that the command sticks." The man smiles.
"Every time I would leave the clinic my head would hurt. I just remember his glowing orange eyes. After a while, I lost the appetite for blood." Himiko said.
"Then, after your middle school graduation, you attacked Saito." The officer said. "What caused that?"
"He got into a fight, and seeing him so bloody…" She sighs longingly. "It all came back to me. The desire to have his blood was so overwhelming I couldn't take it anymore…"
"But why run?" The officer asked.
"I didn't want to go back to being 'normal' again. I finally broke free and if I got caught, they would scramble my brain again." She glares at them. "My parents always viewed me as a demon, and if that's my normal, then I'm a demon." She hisses. The interview continues until the quirk psychologist got all the information she needs. Two police officers enter the room and escort her to a holding cell.
V
Inside the chief of police's office, Kanna and the officer report about the interrogation. She is a well respected person in quirk psychology, normally she isn't call upon for her services since she's so busy so it's rare to see her here. The chief review the file they have on Toga. It makes the man disappointed. Why are villains getting younger and younger?
"Doctor Kanna, what's the verdict?" The chief asked. Shizuka begins to report her findings.
"Toga Himiko underwent quirk suppression therapy. As you know, quirk suppression therapy is highly suspect and borderline unethical. Those who undergo suppression therapy have been subject to everything from shock therapy to being assaulted by mental quirks. Its one of the reasons why mental quirks have such a bad reputation. The sight of blood caused her to suffer a breakdown. Her bloodlust clashed with the suppression programming which caused her to snap." She concludes.
"I see…" The chief nods. "So, she can't be tried due to quirk manipulation." In the world there are quirks that can control people and use them as tools. The government established laws to protect the innocent from villains who would use them as shields. This clause is called the Quirk Manipulation Clause. If there is proof that the victim is under the effects of a quirk then the victim will be cleared of all crimes committed while under the influence.
"So, she gets to walk with an QM pled? What bull!" The officer huffs. "She attacked someone, she's a threat to society that needs to be dealt with properly." Shizuku narrows her eyes at the officer.
"The proper way to 'deal' with her is to get her the help she needs." She argues. "Lastly, Toga is a young girl, a child."
"Toga Himiko's crimes would be more severe if she killed Saito or anyone else." The chief said. "We also have to take in account her age. She's still a teenager, meaning she would be sent to a juvenile correction facility, if it were under normal circumstances."
"What do we do about her bloodlust?" The police officer asked. "She'll just go crazy if she goes cold turkey."
"Would it be possible to get her a steady supply of blood?" Shizuka wonders.
"It's not impossible, but it will be difficult." The chief answers. "Hospitals need blood for transfusions. I highly doubt any hospital would surrender any blood from good sources."
"A willing donor?" Shizuka suggests.
"That will work, but who? Do we know anyone willing to give her their own blood?" Shizuka comes up with an idea.
"What about Vlad King? His quirk involves blood, maybe he'll be willing to help." It's a good idea, but the officer disagrees.
"He can't just give his blood away to some villain brat. He needs to be in perfect condition to protect the people." The officer argues. The chief narrows his gaze at the officer.
"She's a person too." Shizuka glares at the officer. "She needs help." The officer scoffs.
"Young Saito and his parents need closure. They need justice, you think they'll just forgive and forget Toga's crimes? She needs to pay!" The chief sighs.
"Why don't you take five. I have things I want to talk to Doctor Kanna." The officer huffs, annoyed.
"Fine." The officer stands up and leaves the room.
"I would like to apologize for his words and actions. He lost his father in a villain attack, since then he has a deep hatred towards villains." The chief explains. Shizuka can understand hating some villains, but all of them is extreme. "As for your idea for having Vlad King helping Toga. It all depends on the blood hero. You have to remember, he's not only a hero, he's a teacher at UA. He may say no not because he doesn't want to help, but because he's too busy."
V
"What's that? Toga Himiko needs a steady supply of blood to stay sane? Sure, I'm willing to donate." His answer surprises the police chief and Shizuka. They were worried that it would be too much for him.
"This won't be a problem, will it?" Shizuku asks, confused. "Won't it be too much for you?"
"Nonsense. I'm a regular at the local blood drive. Because of my quirk, I have two hearts." Vlad informs the two nonchalantly. "I have more then enough to spare."
"Thank you, Vlad King." The chief said. With that bit of business concluded, they say their good byes. The two finish the meeting. Shizuka vows that she'll return to talk to Toga more into the future.
"Have Miss Toga's parents been informed of their daughter's capture?" Shizuka asked. The chief nods, but looks seldom.
"Yes. I was informed that they don't want to see their daughter. They stated that they have disowned her." The quirk psychologist scoffs.
"Some people should never be parents." She response.
"We will have to question them about their daughter's suppression therapy. After all, they did allow their own daughter to be violated by someone with a mental quirk. Using a mental quirk to rewire a persons brain is illegal. It can cause disastrous brain related illnesses, or Toga's case, psychosis." Shizuka smiles. Those who forced Himiko down this path will pay dearly.

"In today's news. A young villain by the name of Toga Himiko was captured by the legendary hero Dekiru. But here's the twist. According to our sources, Toga underwent Quirk suppression therapy." The anchorwoman reports.

"Quirk suppression therapy is the bane of all people everywhere!" The politician exclaims. "This young girl is as much of a victim as the boy she attacked. She wouldn't have lashed out if she was taught to accept her gift!" Hearing this makes Dekiru glare at the TV screen.
"What a leech. He's just doing this to get more votes in the next election." Yagi looks at the screen.
"Hanabata Koku? He's the leader of the Hearts and Mind Party." As the number one hero, Toshinori has met with many political figures and Koku Hanabata is one of them. Izuku looks at Toshinori and scoffs.
"He might put up a front, but in the end he's a politician. You have to be very mindful of a politician. Sure, there's good politicians in the world, but for every good politician there are ten corrupt politicians."
"I guess that mean you won't be voting." All Might comments.
"Nah… After getting nearly murdered by a hopeful Prime Minister I'm done with the politics." Izuku sighs. "What I'm really worried about is the girl."
"It's out of our hands. As heroes our task is to save lives and stop villains. The police are the ones who have the authority to arrest villains." Yagi said.
"Is that what being a hero has come down too? Just save people and punch villains? I know that there are some real monsters out in the world, but not everyone is like All for One. Not every villain is a monster that needs to be locked away forever!" Izuku argues. A report on Toga begins to play on the TV.
"Others are more then enthusiastic at the capture of Toga Himiko. The mother of the young man who was attacked is thrilled and had some choice words about the girl." The picture shows a woman with black hair tied in a ponytail.
"My baby has become so fearful! He use to be so strong and brave. Maybe he can be brave again with Toga behind bars." The mother said tearfully. "As for that horrible girl, I hope she rots for what she's done." The woman snarls. The picture changes to a old man.
"Good riddances to villain trash." The picture changes to a business man.
"Honestly, the world would be better if the heroes start killing villains. The only good villain is a dead villain." Izuku groans and turns off the TV, having enough of the news.
"Hate it when people say that…" He sighs.
"We save lives not take them." All Might agrees.
"If they think that, then the police might as way start killing jaywalkers and shoplifters." Izuku said. "Killing should always be viewed as a last resort. I know you killed All for One, how did that turn out?" All Might closes his eyes. He remembers when All for One taunted him. His foolishness cost him his stomach when he got distracted. The villain taunted him excessively about how disappointed he was when he killed his master.
"All for One said that he wanted to hear my master beg and plead for her life. When he didn't get what he wanted he blew her to pieces. He told me he wanted to find her head and have it sent to me in the mail. I lost control. I wanted to make that man pay in blood, so I hit him with my strongest attack… Then I just started punching him until his face was just a bloody mess." Izuku shrugs.
"Don't feel so bad. It's All for One, he's more monster than man." He can't help but feel envious towards All Might. "You got a well deserved pound of flesh. I wish I could say the same, all I did was give the guy a heat stroke." All Might chuckles.
V
Inside a quirk consolation building, a man sits inside his office watching the news. The man begins to feel worried. If he recalls, that girl is the daughter of one of his clients. They paid a hefty sum of money to make their daughter normal and that's what he did. He didn't do anything illegal, if anything it's the parents' fault. He was just doing a job. Suddenly, a thought crossed his mind. How many other children had psychological breakdowns?
"Sure, what I did was 'questionable' but it needed to be done! Quirks are dangerous, they all need to be suppressed!" The therapist said. Without warning, there's a knock on the door.
"Excuse me sir… The police are here with a hero." Great, just what he needs.
"Very well, send them in!" Two plain clothes detectives enter the office with a hero he doesn't recognize.
"Rokurou Kei." The police officer flashes his badge. "I'm officer Naomasa. I'm here to ask some questions about Toga Himiko.
"Very well. I saw the news about her. I told her parents to keep her away from anything that would trigger her bloodlust." He sits down.
"I see… Have there been any other children who suffered a breakdown like Toga?" Kei shrugs.
"I do not know officer. If they did, I would have heard from the parents." He was pretty clear in his instructions about the programming. So long as any child is kept away from any trigger then everything would be alright.
"Okay…" He writes something down on his notepad. "You know, I'm surprised that you offer quirk suppression therapy. I'm sure you know that your field of work is view very negatively."
"Yes, I know… My brother used to be so out of control with his quirk so I decided to help others by suppressing their violent nature." The detective's demeanor changes, becoming very serious.
"By using your quirk to suppress their behavior?" The detective asked sharply.
"What!? No! I just teach behavioral exercises that help children deal with their quirks! Q-Quirks can be violent and my job is to ensure children live normal lives!"
"Another thing… Toga told a quirk psychologist that it felt like her mind was being split open and you have glowing orange eyes. Also, something to let you know. My quirk let's me know when someone is lying… You lied about your brother being out of control and your 'behavioral exercises'." The man begins to snarl.
"I'm doing them and society a favor!" Rokurou grits his teeth. He glares at the man dressed in all black with a scarf wrapped around his neck. "All of you 'heroes' are animals. Wild, stupid, braindead animals that use violence to solve all of your problems."
"So, you used your quirk alter your victims state of mind?" Naomasa said. Rokurou has the gall to smile.
"I do love my quirk. At first it just allowed me to put a mental suggestion in their heads. Then it became stronger after I survived a villain attack. It allowed me to install subconscious commands into the persons mind." The hero glares at the man.
"How many children?"
"Hmm? How many children I helped make normal…? I lost count." Aizawa's blood begins to boil. The sooner they put this man away the better.
"You didn't make them normal. You damaged their minds." Naomasa said sharply. "You're under arrest for child endangerment."
V
Rokurou's case is pretty much a open and shut case. He went mad with power when he realized what he could do with his quirk. No one was safe from him, not even his own secretary. Toga as it turns out, wasn't the only patient of Rokurou to have suffered a psychotic breakdown. Of the fifty children he has seen, ten of them went berserk and lashed out, they even had to be institutionalized for mental illnesses. The other forty were lucky that they didn't have an episode yet, but they are being monitored in case they do suffer a psychological breakdown.
Overnight, the script about Toga being a villainous monster flipped. Her and the victims of Rokurou quickly gained sympathizers and supporters. As for Toga's parents, they have been arrested for child endangerment and neglect. Due to her not being sound of mind, she can't be tried in court, instead she would be sent to a psychiatric hospital. When Toga heard the news she was less then thrilled, but it did beat prison.
"So, I'm going to be made to be a normal girl…" Himiko said sadly. "Someone I'm not…" She and Shizuka sit inside her holding room. Toga has been at the station for three days now. Today is her last day before they move her to a hospital.
"Toga… You have to understand, your idea of normal has been twisted because of—" Shizuka is interrupted by Himiko.
"Yeah, I know, the guy who scrambled my brains. If I got 'real' help I wouldn't have attacked Saito…"
"Do you feel guilty?" Shizuka asked.
"After snapped out of it, I felt scared and horrible. I felt like if I didn't run, they would have put me in a straightjacket and cram pills down my throat or I would get beaten up by a hero." When she was on the run, she would watch the news. They called her names and viewed her as a blood drinking monster.
"And being all alone didn't do wonders for your mental health." The quirk psychologist comments. "Anything else happen on the run?"
"I saw him…"
"Who?" Shizuka asked.
"Dekiru…" Toga sighs longingly. "Seeing his scared body on TV made me feel warm. I wanted to see more of his scars, trace them with my fingers, add some of my own." She blushes. "You must think I'm a freak don't you."
"Well… Some women find battle scars attractive, and you wouldn't be the first schoolgirl to have a crush on a hero." Shizuka comments. "When I was your age, I was crushing hard on Crust."
"Isn't he that big crybaby?" Toga asked.
"Back in high school I was attacked by my angry ex boyfriend who was out for blood." Shizuka recalls. "He cheated on me and I dumped him."
"So, what did he do, punch you?"
"He threw a random car at me. He has a super strength quirk by the way. It was a very messy break up." She groans at the memory.
"What…" Toga said flatly. "Wow, there's a difference between being angry and throwing a whole car at someone, jeez…"
"Before the car could hit me, I was wrapped in one someone's arm. It was Crust. With one arm he blocked the car like it was a ball of paper." Kanna sighs longingly. "But enough about older men, do you want to talk about your parents?" Toga frowns.
"Don't really remember them much…" She answers. "I know how they feel about me and I don't care about them…" Himiko responds icily.
"No chance of reconciliation?" The girl sneers at the doctor.
"They let my head get messed up, what do you think?" From what Toga has heard, her parents are not only in police custody, but they are also being sued by Saito's parents for allowing the attack to happen in the first place.
"Your parents will have to answer for their actions and Rokurou will be going away for a long time." Shizuka informs Toga.
"Good… Anything else doc?" Shizuka shakes her head.
"That's all Toga. We'll talk again later." The psychologist leaves the girl's holding room. It would be three days before she would be transferred to the Musutafu Psychiatric hospital. Once there, she was subjected to a mandatory check up. According to the doctor in charge of her recovery, she's suffering from malnutrition.
"Was I really in such bad shape…?" The doctor nods.
"Yes…" She begins to explain. "According to the blood work we did on you, you're board line anemic. During your stint as a villain did you notice feeling fatigued?" Toga nods.
"Some day I was okay, other days I was just exhausted the whole day." She answers.
"Because of your quirk, it's safe to say you have hematophagy." Hearing this confuses Toga.
"What?"
"A dietary trait that involves drinking blood, take vampire bats and mosquitoes for example."
"Oh, okay… So, I just drink a lot of blood?" The doctor shakes her head.
"You need more then just blood Toga. You're underdeveloped for a girl your age. You need to be on a diet consisting of proteins, minerals salts and victims."
"So, a purely carnivore diet?"
"Correct, and a extra bloody one at that. Hopefully we can create a supplement that can mimic the positive effects that drinking blood does for you in case you don't have a viable source." The doctor explained.
"A supplement? Like a gummi?" This makes the doctor nod.
"Yes, that would be ideal."
"So, is my need for blood because of my quirk…?"
"Quirks tend to affect the psyche and the body in different ways. Your quirk is able to transform you because you ingested someone's DNA, their genetic code. Once you have the code in your system, your quirk produces a fluid that changes your appearance. Quirks like yours have drawbacks and requirements." The doctor explains. "But at the same time, they come with great benefits."
"How?"
"Well for starters, you're extremely resistant to blood borne disease. We tested your white blood cells against a several diseases. They killed them all in record time, as well as eliminating all tainted blood."
"So, I have super blood or something like that?" She asked.
"That's one way of putting it. But don't let it get to your head." The doctor makes her way to the door. "Well, that's all for me, if you need anything just buzz the nurse."
V
For Himiko, life has become so incredibly boring and dull. Well, at least she gets free food and blood, it would be stupid for her to leave. Due to her age, the doctor in charge of her therapy signed her up for online classes, because she hasn't had schooling for a year.
"God… I'm so bored…" Himiko groans as she clicks away on a laptop, working on her courses. If this keeps up, she'll become more insane, or become so insane she goes full circle and becomes sane. Suddenly, there's a knock at the door. "Come in." Her doctor enters her room.
"Ms. Toga, we have a guest here speaking in the common rooms." She pouts.
"Do I really have to go?" Himiko asked.
"I think you'll like our guest speaker." She comments.
"What. Some big shot hero?" The doctor nods.
"I'm sure you know him very well." She sighs and gets up from her chair.
"Fine, whatever…" Himiko closes her laptop and follows the doctor to the common room. She sees her fellow patients all sitting on folding chair waiting for the guest speaker to arrive. One of the patients next to Toga gasped. She looks in the direction where the patient is looking and is shocked. It was none other then the legendary hero Dekiru, dressed in his hero costume. He makes his way in front of the group of patients and smiles.
"Hello everyone, my name is Midoriya Izuku. But you may know me as Dekiru." He begins. "During my time, the world was in a state of perpetual chaos. With the appearance of quirks, everything changed and not for the better. People ran around hurting others because of their newfound powers. I became a hero to save people and stop villains, some of my adversaries, people who you would call villains would become my greatest allies. I came here today to just talk to you face to face, to make sure you know that there are people thinking about you. I should know, I'm one of them." After his big speech, Dekiru mingles with the patients and doctors. He shakes hands, offers smiles and is all around pleasant.
"Hey, it's nice to see you." Dekiru smiles at her.
"Oh… Hello." Toga looks away shyly. "Sorry about… You know, attacking you and trying to drink your blood."
"Water under the bridge. You weren't in a good place." Dekiru just smiles. "How have you been?"
"Bored."
"Beats juvie, right?" Toga can't help but agree.
"So, why are you here?" She asked. "Just to give some flowery speech?"
"Guilty, but I truly did want to come here. My duty as a hero doesn't end with a villain's capture or saving a person." He explains.
"I was careless. When I saw your scarred body, I just wanted to cut you up. I don't know what came over me… I stalked you for days, waiting for the perfect moment to strike, but you saw me coming."
"You hid yourself pretty good. But back then, you had to have eyes in the back of your head. Villains could have attack you at any moment at anytime." He explains.
"The past sucks…" Himiko comments.
"It truly did…" He sighs. A doctor walks up to the hero.
"Dekiru, it wouldn't be too much for you to visit the pediatric ward? The children would love to see you."
"I can do that. It was nice to see you. Maybe next time I can tell you some old stories." He says his goodbyes to everyone and leaves the hospital. The rest of Toga's evening ends uneventfully.
V
Katsuki, Mina, Eijirou and Denki were finished with today's work. The pink skinned girl realized that they only met to train and nothing else, they don't hang out. Sure, she knows a Kirishima, but she doesn't really know Bakugou and Kaminari expect for the fact that Bakugou shouts and swears all the time and Kaminari is a bit of a flirt. As they were about to go their separate ways, she speaks up.
"Hey hold on! Why don't we all hang out! I know this karaoke place and—"
"Pass." Katsuki brushes off Mina.
"Oh, come on!" She pouts.
"Sorry Ashido." Denki rubs his right shoulder, sore from all the hard work. "I'm beat. As much as I would love to hang out with a cute girl, my battery is dangerously low."
"Don't worry Ashido, I'm sure we'll get to all hang out some other time." Eijirou comments.
"Fine… God you guy's are boring…" Mina sighs. "Did you guy's see that girl Dekiru captured?" She asked. Denki nods.
"Oh yeah, that Toga girl. It's a shame, she's kind of cute." He sighs.
"Yeah, but did you see that someone filmed Dekiru when he gave his speech at the psychiatric hospital?" Mina asked. Eijirou nods.
"Yeah, I did. It was so manly." Someone calls out to the group.
"There's also a video of Dekiru visiting the pediatric ward." Mina nearly cried when she saw those ill children's faces light up at the sight of Dekiru.
"Hey!" It looks to be someone who's a reporter. "You're the kids who are helping Dekiru clean that beach! Can I get a moment of your time?" Mina, Eijirou and Denki all look at each other nervously, not knowing what to do. Bakugou on the other hand…
"Piss off!" Katsuki marches off leaving the reporter shocked.
"Sorry dude! Got to go!" Denki walks away quickly.
"C'mon Kirishima! Let's go back to my place!" Mina grabs Eijirou's hand.
"Huh!?" The teen blushes as he's dragged away by the pink skinned girl, leaving the reporter alone with no big scoop about Dekiru.
V
Work for Dekiru seems to be endless. Many agencies want to contract him for work, many of them were from agency from the top ten hero agencies. Sadly, as much as Izuku wanted to work with them, he has to limit his workload. Winter has arrived, and with it comes ache joints and cold weather. Today he got a request to work with a hero in the top ten. She's none other then the current number sixth hero, the Bunny hero Miruko. When he arrived at the address, he was not expecting a hotel. Recalling what All Might said about Miruko, she's a lone wolf hopping from city to city fighting crime. He makes his way to the to her hotel room and knocks on the door.
"Hello, Miruko. It's Dekiru. I'm here about the—" He suddenly feels the need to move away from the door quickly. He acts and just in time for the door to be kicked off the hinges. A form charges at Izuku and acting on instinct he throws his suitcase at his attack. The suitcase hits the attacker in the face, stunning them. Using this chance, Izuku tackles the attacker to the ground and is shocked at who is attacking.
"Wait… Miruko?" He gets off of her. "What's the big idea!?" She smirks. Her red eyes full of excitement.
"Not bad for a two hundred year old geezer." She stands up at her full height. "You got some sharp reflexes, and your instincts aren't too bad either."
"Had to be sharp." Izuku answers. "Between evading police and fighting villains, I had to fight the True Sons and always be on the move."
"Alright, so normally I don't do team ups because teaming up is for the weak." Mirko makes her way into the room.
"Then why send the request?" He asked. Mirko smirks.
"I wanted to see what you can do." She answers. "I got a call about a gang of villains hiding out in a warehouse. Police got a report about one of them loitering around the city bank. We got permission from the police to knock their heads!"
"What are they're numbers and quirks?" Izuku asked.
"Five and as for their quirks, I have no idea." Miruko hops in place and cracks her neck. "Gear up, we got some head to crack."
"Wait! What about the door?" She shrugs.
"The staff will fix it." She leaves the room. "I'll be waiting outside."
V
They arrive at the villain's hideout and look over the warehouse, laying low and staying out of sight. Using her enhanced hearing, Mirko picks up the conversations inside the warehouse office room on the second floor, and from the sound of things, they were about to execute the heist.
"From the sound of things, they're planning to pull the heist tomorrow." Mirko reports.
"So is the whole gang here?" Izuku whispers.
"Yep. They also got some back up." She answers.
"Is their back up here?" Just as Izuku asked, a van pull up and park just outside of the warehouse. Two more villains leave the windowless van. "Two more villains. So, we'll be dealing with Seven villains of unknown combat ability and unknown quirks." Mirko stands up. "I take it you want to kick down the door?"
"You know it!" The rabbit hero jumps towards the warehouse. She crashes through the roof of the warehouse and slams down on the ground, scaring the villains.
"Oh shit! It's Miruko!" One of the villains' shouts. Then, to everyone's horror, Dekiru drops in through the hole as well.
"Oh hell! It's Dekiru!"
"Hey! Is there a party going on? Why wasn't I invited!?" She asked playfully.
"Everyone! Do it!" Shouts the leader.
"But boss—"
"DO IT!" They all nod at each other. "I NEED TIME!" Six of them charge at the two heroes. Smirking, Miruko performs powerful thrust kick, embedding one of them in the wall.
"C'mon you weaklings! Bring it!" Miruko charges the other two, defeating them effortlessly. "How are you doing old timer?" She looks at Izuku and smirks. The legendary hero just finished with the last of his share of villains.
"Damn… You're good." Miruko remarks.
"Have to be. I can't just rely on my quirk all the time." He turns around, facing the leader of the heisters.
"Not bad, now for the boss." The large leader looks at the two of them. Before Miruko can pounce, Izuku stops her.
"It's over. Your guy's are beaten and it's just you. Surrender at once." The rabbit hero scoffs.
"Really?"
"I'm giving him a chance, a way out." Izuku takes a fighting stance. "So, what's it going to be?" The leader grunts.
"Never!" He throws something at the heroes feel. It's an empty injector.
"Looks like the guy shot himself up with Trigger." Miruko scoffs. "What a weakling." The villain begins to retch. He fires a stream of sickly green liquid at the heroes. It misses, but eats away at the brick wall behind him.
"God this shit is awesome!" The leader vomits again at the two heroes, forcing them to dodge the noxious stream. The bile begins to leave a foul smell as it eats away at the small office room. Izuku slides on his respirator quickly, not sure if these fumes are poisonous.
"You good Miruko?" Izuku asked.
"I'm fine! Let's just kick his ass already!" Mirko drop kicks the villain boss out of the room. He would have fallen to the ground floor it if weren't for the railing. He turns around and jumps down to the ground floor, hoping to create some distance. The two heroes quickly pursue the villain to the ground floor. The villain turns around fully and readies himself to vomit at the heroes.
"Miruko! Out of the way!" She moves out of the way out of Izuku. He fires a stream of concentrated heat. The two streams clash, the heated stream easily pushes back the projectile vomit into the villain's face. The villain falls over holding his face screaming in pain. Miruko acts quickly, she jumps up in the air and slams down on the villain's stomach with a powerful kick. The impact forces the villain to vomit at Miruko.
"Shit, that stings!" Some of the bile hits her arm. She jumps off the villain and lands next to Dekiru. Acting quickly, Izuku moves to the villain and restrains him and makes sure he's on his stomach. The next twenty minutes were spent apprehending the other villain and waiting for law enforcement to arrive. Dekiru looks at Miruko's arm, spotting the acid burn.
"How's the arm?" Izuku asked.
"It's fine." The rabbit hero answers. "Once it's treated, we'll go on patrol. You weren't too bad, expect for the part where you tried to talk the villain down."
"If the police asked, we gave him an option to surrender. They like it when villains aren't too banged up." Izuku answers. "In my time—"
"That's the thing, this isn't your time anymore." Miruko interrupts. "Things have changed, so long as the villain isn't crippled or dead then it's fine!"
"Maybe it's fine for you. But I like to give the villain a chance to willingly surrender." Izuku answers.
"And if they decide to play possum?"
"They won't play possum if you use the right approach. Going overboard will make them want to run. But I get the feeling you don't care. You can do what you want Miruko and I'll do what I want to do." The woman smirks.
"Damn straight I'll do what I want." At that moment, the police arrive just outside of the warehouse.
"That's the police." Izuku makes his way to the garage door and opens it. He looks outside and is shocked at what he sees. "Hey Miruko?"
"What is it? She asked.
"Is it normal that there's a fleet of ambulances here with the police?" She laughs.
"Oh, that's normal! I can't count how many times every villain I took out needs medical attention." Izuku chuckles nervously.
"That's something else…" One they were finished; they continued their patrol. They mostly fought villains all night. Once the night is finished, they make their way back to Miruko's hotel room. True to her word, the door to her hotel room is fix.
"You weren't to bad Dekiru. Pretty strong too." Miruko comments. "Hard to believe a first-generation quirk user could have a powerful quirk."
"The reason why you don't hear about more powerful first gen quirk users is because they were all killing each other." Miruko laughs.
"Man, your time sounds like a blast!" The rabbit hero's comment makes Izuku agitated.
"It wasn't…" He clenches his fist. "Good men and women died everyday. It was a hellish free for all where the strongest ruled and the weak were culled. The police were powerless and the JSDF had to make sure no country decided to invade so they couldn't help. Cities were in ruins and small towns were wiped off the map. I don't even recognize Tokyo anymore."
"That bad, huh? You ever thought about a way to get back to the past?" Izuku shakes his head.
"It's not possible." He follows inside and sits down on one of the chairs. "Besides, I could cause a time paradox. With what I know now I could alter the past with my actions, that is if time is truly self healing then I wouldn't cause a end of the world paradox. If I'm really unlucky, which I usually am, then I could cause history to be rewritten. Time travel is all theoretical however. For all I know, The Banisher quirk might have just worked like a time capsule, storing me away for a amount of time." Before Izuku could continue, the Rabbit hero interrupts him.
"Could you stop with your muttering, it's creepy!" She exclaims.
"I was muttering?" Izuku chuckles. "I thought I kicked that habit. Use to mutter when I was younger."
"You were spitting words a mile a minute." Miruko could barely follow any of that nonsense. "You want to stay; I can order some pizza." Izuku shakes his head.
"No thank, I don't want the people talking. You know how the press can get." Miruko understands what he means. One minute you're working with a hero to capture villains, the next, tabloid are writing articles about them being a couple or new team. "So why did you become a hero? Was it just to crack skulls?"
"That's one of the reasons." She answers with a shrug. "I just love the thrill of danger, it's fun." It also helped that every villain underestimated her because of her quirk. Some people would say having a quirk that makes you a rabbit would mean that she's weak. These people and her fellow heroes were proven wrong by her meteoric rise to the top.
"I should get going Miruko. It's been nice working with you." Izuku grabs his case and makes his way to the door.
"See ya!" The door closes. With his work done for the night, Izuku makes his way back home.
V
Only a day has passed and people are eating up the story about Dekiru's team up with Miruko. The press couldn't get a comment from the rabbit hero because she moved on to another town. As for Izuku, he just made a comment that he wouldn't mind working with her again. He and Toshinori were eating dinner after Izuku returned from a solo patrol when Toshinori made an announcement.
"You're going to where?" Izuku asked.
"I-Island. It's a moving island where scientist research quirks and develop support items." The hero explains. "Gran Torino will also be coming with me as well."
"I wish I could go with you, but with the kid's training and hero work is ramping up, I won't be able to go." Izuku sighs. Going to a moving island filled with some of the brightest minds and best tech sounds fun. "How long will you be gone?"
"I'll be back just before UA's entrance exam. If everything goes smoothly then I'll be back sooner." All Might said. His time helping the beach cleaning crew and watching Izuku teach those children gave him some insight on how to be a teacher. "You know, maybe you can become a teacher when you're older."
"I don't think I would have the time to go to university and study to become a teacher." Izuku said as he takes a bite out of his meal.
"Do what I did and get a degree online." Hearing this from the number one hero makes Izuku sputter.
"UA accepts applicants with online degrees?" Toshinori shrugs.
"Well, they accepted mine." Izuku had the feeling Nezu only accepted his application is because he's the number one hero and that title obviously comes with perks.
"So… Did you find a successor?" Izuku asked. The number one hero shrugs. When Izuku talked about people having multiple quirks being detrimental to someone's health he thought of the only quirkless person he knows. She's studying to become a support item inventor. He told her that she could be a hero in her own way, but he wonders, would she accept?
"I have someone in mind. She's someone I've known for years, we're basically family." Hopefully she says yes to inheriting One for All.
"Well, you better start packing, and having fun Toshinori." Knowing him, he's going to need it.

The next day, Toshinori, with his packing complete is about to head out to the airport.
"I'll be heading out." The hero said.
"Be careful and have fun Yagi." Izuku waves.
"No crazy party!" Toshinori shouts. Izuku chuckles, he doesn't know enough people to throw a party.
"That won't be happening." Izuku chuckles. Toshinori closes the door, leaving Izuku alone in the apartment. He makes his way over to his laptop and begins to go through his emails. That was when the apartment phone starts to ring.
"Who could that be?" He makes his way over to the phone and picks it up. "Hello?"
"Hello Midoriya!" It's Mitsuki Bakugou. "How's work?"
"It's great. It's has taken some time but I think the culture shock has worn off." Izuku answers.
"Worked with any cute pro heroines?" She teases. "I heard that you teamed up with Miruko."
"It was just a team up. She wanted to see what I could do." Izuku answers, lightly blushing.
"So, are you too busy to come over for dinner? I want to thank you for looking after my brat of a son." Izuku smiles. Dinner with the Bakugo's does sound nice.
"That sounds great. What time should I be over?" He asked.
"Six o'clock is when we eat dinner. Just wear something casual, you don't have to wear anything fancy. Do you know where we live? I can give you the address." Mitsuki gives Izuku the address to her home. "It will be nice to have you over!" She said, excited.
V
"Katsuki! Our guest is here!" Mitsuki shouts at her son, who was watching All Might in action. When he got home from school, his mother was in a oddly good mood, she told him that they were going to have a guest over for dinner. He shuts off his TV and leaves his room, making his way into the kitchen. Once there, he sees Dekiru talking with his dad. Dekiru turns his attention towards Katsuki.
"Hey Katsuki. Your mom invited me over for dinner." Katsuki groans.
"I swear if a sea of reporters comes here tomorrow, I am going to be very pissed." He sits down at the table. "Anyways, let's dig in." They all sit down and enjoy a nice meal. They talked, they laughed, and Katsuki and Mitsuki shouted at each other.
"That reminds me. We've been putting some money aside to help you build up an agency of your own. Maybe when Katsuki graduates UA he can be your sidekick." Mitsuki said.
"You really don't have to do that." Izuku smiles.
"Cut the crap. If the hags going to help you then the hag is going to help you." Katsuki comments.
"That's right! Besides, I don't want you to own the Commission any favors. Never trust a single government official. I would sooner have a meal with a villain then a commission goon." She scoffs.
"Ignore the hag." Katsuki told Izuku. "She doesn't trust anyone expect for the old man and myself."
"And for good reason!" The woman shouts. She sighs, melancholy fills her eyes. "As a child I spent all my life living in fearing of that monster you faced all those years ago. Kasumi did her part, making sure our nation never forgot its first hero. A task she passed on to her children."
"Did Kasumi pass peacefully?" Izuku asked hopefully. Mitsuki sighs.
"I'm afraid not… She was sixty by the time she died. She basically became a wanderer after you vanished. Kasumi did settle down eventually, but it proved to be a fatal mistake. She was on her way to pick up her grandkids when a speeding driver T-boned her car."
"A car crash…?" Mitsuki nods her head.
"It was a drunk driver. She tried to fight, to live, but two days later she died."
"And the one who did this. Did he face justice?" Izuku asked.
"If by justice you mean found dead in his cell, then yes…" Mitsuki answers. "But that's not what you're hoping for isn't it?" Izuku only knows one villain who can orchestrate someone's death in jail then that would be All for One.
"It was him, without a doubt…" Izuku grits his teeth.
"Yeah…" Mitsuki nods. "After that, my family went into hiding again. Moving from town to town, living in the countryside, never going to the city. When I was born, I lived in a backwater town, I barely knew what a pro hero was. Once I graduated high school I made my way to the city, going against my parents wishes." The woman gives her husband a wink. "Then I met this guy in colleague and we just clicked. Two years after colleague we got hitched and the rest is history." Izuku is happy for the Bakugou matriarch. Spending all of her life hiding in fear and finally breaking free from that fear to find love and raise a child. As a hero, his mission is to make sure everyone can live in a world without fear and despair.
A world without All for One…
