Gingka, Gingka, Gingka!

Gingka stood in a sold out arena, cheering his name, taking it all but then a loud roar could be heard from the opposite side of the venue. It was coming closer and closer; with each step, Gingka felt fear creeping up on him.

Gingka instinctively looked for his Pegasus but it was nowhere to be found. Then he heard Pegaus neigh in pain as he was getting torn apart by Leon.

Pegasus! Gingka screamed.

His scream caught the attention of Leon as the lion dropped his dead prey and slowly looked at its new target.

Gingka tried to back up but his legs were frozen. Leon charged towards the him.

AHHHH! Gingka screamed as everything faded to black.

Take it easy Gingka, it's all right now. Kenta said, calming his friend down.

Wha? Where am I? Gingka asks.

You're in the team room - you passed out during the last match. Madoka answers.

OH! That's right! Please tell me we won!? Gingka eagerly asked.

We won it, Gingka. Kenta replies.

Aweso- Ow! Gingka felt a burst of pain as he crossed his arms.

Be careful, Gingka! Your injuries haven't healed yet! Madoka warned.

Yeah, you really gave it your very best out there. Thanks a lot… Masamune spoke up but it was clear he wasn't in the mood for celebrations.

The team laughed and smiled as they still had the opportunity to reach the A-Block finals. But as Gingka looked around the team room, he noticed his tag team partner and Hikaru were missing. So he asked.

Hi, guys, where are Akuma & Hikaru? Gingka asks.

Suddenly the atmosphere in the room turned sour. Everyone immediately became quiet and looked sad. Gingka didn't like it.

The hospital. Madoka reveals.

Huh?! Gingka gasped.

He saved Hikaru from the Inferno blast. Madoka explains.

Is he okay?! Gingka wonders.

We… don't know. The doctors are doing everything they can but we don't know when he will wake up. Madoka barely mustered up the courage to speak.

Well, he could have at least been more careful with my Libra! Yu pouted.

YU! Gingka, Madoka, Kenta & Masamune shouted all in sync.

What? Not my fault he went on one of his wacko rampages. Yu argued.

True but if it wasn't for him, Gingka and the others wouldn't be fighting for the world championship. Kenta defended.

Can't believe it, first Tsubasa, now Akuma, do we have what it takes to win this thing? Masamune pessimistically asked.

Masamune… Gingka muttered.

Seriously, what's with both of them going all psychotic and joker-like rampages? Masamune ranted.

The dark power. We should have helped them sooner. Madoka said.

Dark power? What are you talking about, Madoka? Masamune asked.

Back at the Battle Blader's tournament, Tsubasa fought against Ryuga who was consumed with the dark power and he got seriously injured in that fight. Ever since his battle with Kyouya during the Japanese qualifiers, we saw the signs he might be infected with the same dark power. As for Akuma, it doesn't seem to be the dark power but it's something similar. Madoka explained.

Why didn't you guys tell me? And why didn't you stop him if you knew?! Masamune questioned.

We wanted Masamune but Tsubasa, you don't know him as well as we do, even if we wanted to help, he wanted to fix it on his own terms. Gingka joined in on the conversation.

As the Japanese team collects themselves, we change the scene to the director's booth where Hikaru and Ryo watch a group of mechanics and laborers hard at work, repairing the arena in time for the next battle.

That was awful to watch. Hikaru grieved.

After that battle between Tsubasa and Kyouya, I never thought the third match would turn out so badly as well. Ryo reflected on today's match.

The dark power… Hikaru points out.

Yes… I don't want to believe it, Hikaru but… it appears that the Japanese team has two very dangerous members on it - we'll have to wait until the test results are back to know for sure but as executives of the BWCS we must make sure the competition continues.

What? The competition will go on?! Hikaru was shocked by the decision.

GGG and Wildfang are tied in the standings - 1 win, 1 loss and 1 tie each at the end of the third round. The only thing we can do is have a fourth match to decide it. Ryo explained the reasoning behind his decision.

But director! Tsubasa and Akuma are still unconscious in the hospital. Gingka and Kyouya haven't recovered from the damage they suffered either and they are in no condition to fight a battle - we should at least wait until the bladers recover so they- Hikaru argues before she got interrupted by her boss.

Hikaru! We are the executives of the BWCS! We cannot and will not give any special treatment to the Japanese and African teams. Ryo sternly reminded his assistant.

That's… that is true but still I… Hikaru was torn between choosing friends or her job.

The match will be tomorrow. it will be settled with a team battle. Ryo insisted.

Yes… director. Hikaru responded.

Hikaru walked down to GanGan Galaxy's team room to inform them of the news. Hikaru knocked on the door, she only had to wait for a few seconds before Madoka opened the door.

Hikaru! Madoka launched herself onto the secretary who was taken by surprise but quickly returned the hug.

I'm glad you're OK! Madoka said.

Thanks… Hikaru sadly replied.

Hikaru… Is he- Madoka tried to ask about Akuma but Hikaru cut her off as she didn't feel like talking about it.

Not now, Madoka. Listen up everyone, I have an announcement from the director. It has been decided that the final match between team Japan and Africa will be a team battle… tomorrow. Hikaru revealed.

WHAT?! Gingka and Masamune shouted.

Tomorrow?! Hikaru, that can't be, Gingka isn't fully healed yet, Tsubasa and Akuma are in the hospital! Kenta yelled.

Don't you think I know that?! I tried OK?! I know it's not fair and I don't like it either but the BWCS will not wait for us and we can't show favoritism to any team. Hikaru explained.

Hikaru was visibly shaken as she clutched her tablet as she was on the borderline of tearing up because she blamed herself for Akuma's injuries. Hikaru took a deep breath to calm herself down and regained her composure.

Sorry about that. Please decide who will participate by the time of the match. Hikaru requests.

Before the secretary was about to leave, she had one more thing to say.

Please, win it for all of us, I don't want this to be the end. Hikaru pleaded and left.

Is she alright? Yu asked everyone.

She just needs time for herself, Yu. She will be fine. Madoka answered.

The mood in GGG's team room remained gloomy to which Masamune decided it was enough even if he didn't believe it himself.

All right! This time we'll make it a clear win and earn our spot in the final and crush either Excalibur or Wang Hu Zhong! You and me, Gingka! Masamune confidently shouted.

Right! We have to make sure not to waste this chance. We have to win for Tsubasa and for Akuma. Let's do this Masamune! Gingka joined in on the motivation speech.

You bet- Before Masamune could finish his sentence, Kenta interrupted with a question.

So who do you think will represent Wildfang? Kenta asked.

Prolly Yo-Yo and that Nile guy. Yu guessed.

Nile… Masamune lost his spirit as he was reminded of his loss.

Kyouya… Gingka said as if he didn't want to battle his eternal rival.

The others looked worryingly on, especially Madoka who noticed the self selected tag team partner's doubts. There was nothing she could do now as she began repairing Striker and Pegasus as fast as she could for tomorrow's battle.

Meanwhile at team Wildfang's team room.

Another match huh? Kyouya grins at the news.

I'm sorry Kyouya. Benkei apologizes.

If only we had won. Demure says as he blames himself.

No sweat - Gingka and his team are the opponents. I never thought winning this battle would be easy. Kyouya says as his only focus is on Gingka, everything that happened before didn't matter.

You seem pleased that the battle has to continue on Kyouya. Nile remarks.

I finally get to battle Gingka. This time he won't escape us. Kyouya grins while looking at his Leon.

At the same time, Nile's face said it all as he didn't understand the obsession his leader had with the Battle Blader's Champion.

This is exactly what we wanted, right Leon? Kyouya said to his partner as he clutched onto his Rock Leon.

Later in the afternoon, few of the bladers battling tomorrow took the time to practice.

Staring at the glimmering sea from the pier in Bey City's harbor, Kyouya couldn't let his guard down for one second as he finally gets to battle his eternal rival on the big stage after all that happened.

Gingka, this time I'll settle the score with you! Kyouya vows.

As he pulls out his launcher to practice, he succumbs to his injuries, dropping his launcher alongside Leon to the wooden floor of the pier. Kyouya groans from the pain as he barely can lift his arms - feeling the exhaustion and pain.

Speaking of his rival, moving towards downtown, the Pegasus blader was hard at work himself, trying to hit the empty soda can but just as Kyouya, Gingka succumbed to his injuries, collapsing to his knees, breathing heavily.

Unaware to him, Madoka watched from behind a nearby tree, knowing full well, Gingka was restless and stressed.

Gingka… Madoka whispered as she could barely watch as her friend struggled to get up.

Come on! Gingka pushed himself to get up despite his body telling him to give it a rest. Using his willpower alone to get up as he resumed his training. But Madoka knew something was off with their leader and got an idea.

Meanwhile, Masamune was in deep thoughts. With everything at stake and lost his first official match, the stress level was at all time high. He didn't want to lose, losing wasn't an option but the doubts kept coming.

"Those who call themselves number one before it's decided are doomed to fail from the start!" Nile's words kept repeating in his head.

"Why did I have to lose? It's my fault we're in this situation; I have to fix it, this can't be the end!" Masamune thought.

Masamune kept walking with no clear destination in mind, he was stuck, every strategy, plan, countermeasure he thought of, he hesitated. Before long he had found himself near the hospital. Masamune stared at the entrance, hesitating whether to go inside or not.

Meanwhile at the hospital, a few minutes earlier.

Akuma had woken up, remarkably healing from his serious injuries rather quickly; still not at 100% but was getting there.

How is he? Hikaru asked Sandra as both stood outside Akuma's hospital room.

He woke up a few hours ago, the doctors said he will be able to leave in a couple of days but no battling until then. As you can imagine, he wasn't fond of the news. Sandra revealed.

I see… Hikaru responded with guilt in her voice, grabbing onto her wrist.

Hey, it wasn't your fault, none of us could've known what would happen. Sandra comforted the guilty secretary.

If I didn't intervened-

If you didn't intervene, a lot more people would have gotten injured. Sandra interrupted Hikaru's train of thoughts.

Hikaru sat down on the chair right by the bed as Akuma had his back turned.

Hi… Hikaru softly said.

Akuma didn't look at Hikaru. He just twisted his shoulder, acknowledging her presence.

How are you feeling? Hikaru asked.

Akuma grunted.

Thanks for saving me… again. Hikaru said with a hint of guilt before continuing.

I'm sorry… I know you're angry with me for interrupting the match. I couldn't bear to see you lose yourself and now you can't battle in the final match against Wildfang because of me. I'm… sorry. Why is it that you have to save me over and over again when I can't do the same? Hikaru hyperventilated.

Akuma sighed. After he woke up, Sandra scolded him for his mean behavior towards Hikaru and putting her life at risk. Making him rethink his feelings.

I'm… sorry too. Akuma said.

Wha… sorry for what? Hikaru asked.

For rejecting you the way I did. And…

And? Hikaru waited for Akuma to continue his sentence.

Thanks for being there for me. I lost control and I'm sorry. Akuma apologised.

Well, that's for all the times you saved me, I should be the one thanking you. Hikaru chuckled.

Akuma awkwardly chuckled back before continuing to let out his garbage.

I'm just afraid. Afraid I will hurt you. Every time I see you, I get this strange feeling in my chest, and I'm afraid to act upon them because I might do something awful to you I can't take back. Akuma admitted.

That's why you're not a monster, Akuma. Hikaru said.

Huh?

Because a monster wouldn't be considerate of others. Hikaru continued.

Akuma, I want you by my side. Whatever happens, I will be there for you. Hikaru confessed.

Hikaru… you don't understand. The things they did to me, what I did to the others. It's still there, I can't just forget and undo-

Akuma, everyone has a demon inside of them they're afraid to let loose. We all have to face them one day. We all have something we deeply regret but that's in our past, they don't have to define who you are. Whatever you do, you don't have to do it alone. I will be with you no matter what happens because that's how much you mean to me. Hikaru admitted.

Hikaru leaned in. Akuma stared at her violet eyes as they slowly closed the gap when the door suddenly opened.

Akuma, I need your help man! I- oh… Masamune realized he interrupted.

Hikaru and Akuma quickly looked away, their cheeks red as tomatoes.

Sorry dudes, I didn't mean t-

It's OK, Masamune. Hikaru quickly blurted out. What are you doing here? Hikaru coughed up.

Oh right. Masamune turned his attention towards the Bahamut blader.

Akuma, please tell me you can battle tomorrow! Masamune asked out of desperation.

Masamune?! Hikaru was shocked to see Masamune bowing on the floor.

We need you man! I don't want our championship run to end here. With Gingka and Tsubasa injured, you're our best hope so please tell me you can battle tomorrow.

Akuma blinked, still confused over what was happening before speaking up.

I can. Akuma was about to say more before Masamune celebrated too early.

Boom baby, we will win easily tomorrow! Masamune jumped into the air.

I wasn't done, Masamune. Akuma interrupted his teammate's celebration.

Sorry?

Let me finish. I can battle but the doctors forbid me from battling anytime soon. Akuma said.

We're doomed! Masamune looked defeated as he collapsed to his knees.

What's gotten into you? Akuma asked, raising his eyebrow.

Masamune, are you OK? Hikaru added.

No, I'm not. Because of me, we're going to get eliminated tomorrow and there's nothing I can do to fix it! Masamune yelled.

You don't know that, Masamune, we still have a chance. Hikaru tried to encourage the unicorn blader.

But-

But what's done is done, Masamune. You can't take back your loss. Akuma interrupted.

So we'll just pack our bags and go home?! Don't you want to win it more than the rest of us?! Masamune thought.

Yeah? And? A loss is a loss, accept it and move on. Nobody is undefeated, including me but what's important is that we get back up and learn from our mistakes. So tell me Masamune, what is scaring you? Akuma asked.

Masamune explained his embarrassment and pressure of representing GanGan Galaxy ever since he was "humiliated" in his first official BWCS match.

I don't know how you guys do it man. If there's anything you can do to help, please tell me, I don't want this to be the end! Masamune begged.

For the first time, they experienced something new from Akuma: laughter.

Why are you laughing at me, this isn't funny! Masamune scolded.

Akuma… Hikaru frowned on her crush.

Sorry, sorry, I just think it's funny coming from the guy who wouldn't stop yapping about being number one despite how many times we or someone else thought you were crazy. Listen, Masamune, what did you expect? This is the BWCS, it's supposed to be hard, you thought you were going to run past everyone like it was a joke? Wake the hell up! Either you man up or leave! Akuma sternly shouted.

Akuma! Hikaru thought he was going too far.

Wait, I'm not finished! This is why I made you fight Nile in the first place, because if you didn't realize it sooner or later, what do you think would happen if you had to step in, let's say the final? You would have fumbled under the pressure, simple as.

Masamune bit his lips, knowing Akuma was telling the truth.

But I also know you're not the one to give up easily so whatever you're going through, ask yourself this: Do you want to be a world champion knowing others won your battles? Akuma asked.

I… I… Masamune remained unsure.

Cat got your tongue? Come on! What do you want?! Akuma pressured Masamune for an answer.

NO! I WANT TO WIN WITH OWN SKILL! I WANT TO BE NUMBER ONE WITH STRIKER BECAUSE I DID MY BEST! Masamune let out his pent up feelings.

Good. That's the Masamune we all love and hate. Akuma smirked.

Let's see what we can do about Horuseus. Akuma added as he stepped out of the bed.

Wait a minute, you need to rest Akuma. Hikaru stopped the Bahamut blader in his tracks.

Hikaru, I'm fine, besides the doctors said I wasn't allowed to battle in an OFFICIAL match, never said anything about practice. Besides, I won't go full out, I promise. Akuma said.

I can't talk you out of it, can I? Hikaru rhetorically asked.

So you do know me. Akuma and Hikaru chuckled as they felt the floodgates had opened up a bit.

Hey Masamune, do you mind giving us a moment? Akuma requested.

Masamune nodded as he stepped outside.

Masamune! Please don't tell anyone what you saw, OK? Hikaru requested.

Don't worry, I won't tell a soul. Masamume promised.

Hikaru, I– Akuma was interrupted as Hikaru put her finger on his lips.

It's OK, Akuma, you don't have to give me an answer now, I can wait, just don't take too long, a girl won't wait forever. Hikaru jokes.

Thanks, I mean it, thanks for being there for me. Akuma gratefully said.

Akuma, Hikaru and Masamune headed out late into the night to help Masamune with last minute training to boost his chances against Nile.

Back at the B-Pit, Gingka had returned from his training, exhausted and reached his limits for the day. Suddenly, he heard someone calling from the 2nd floor.

Madoka? Gingka called for the mechanic but to his surprise, she was nowhere to be seen.

Where is she? Gingka wondered as he followed the source of the noise. It led him to his room, the spare guest room, Madoka and her father let Gingka sleep in.

On the desk was Madoka's laptop buzzing with an unknown caller waiting for someone to answer. Seeing as no one else was around to answer the call, Gingka took upon himself to answer, safe to say he was surprised.

Mei-Mei?! Gingka barely believed it.

Hi Gingka! Mei-Mei greeted the Pegasus blader.

Hi! Hi! Nice to see you too Mei-Mei, sorry Madoka isn't here at the moment. Gingka explained.

Don't worry, you're just the person I wanted to talk to. Mei-Mei said.

ME? Gingka pointed at himself.

Yes, you, you silly goose. Mei-Mei chuckled.

Gingka grabbed a chair and sat down, beginning their conversation.

So what's this about, Mei-Mei? Gingka asked.

Are you OK? Mei-Mei asked back.

Little tired but I can't wait for tomorrow's battle. Gingka faked his excitement as he held onto his bruised arm.

Uh-huh? So eager to battle Kyouya again? Everyone is looking forward to seeing you two go at it again, including me. Mei-Mei revealed.

Totally! To- Yeah… Gingka hesitated as he tried to find excitement that wasn't there.

You're a terrible liar, y'know that? Mei-Mei mocked the champion.

Lying, me? No! Gingka shrugged off the claim but his voice and facial expression told another story.

Madoka contacted me earlier today, telling me how you seemed "off your game." I didn't think it was this bad. What happened, Gingka? Mei-Mei pushed for answers.

Nothing. I'm fine, just tired, that's all. Gingka still refused to open up about his feelings.

So it's like that huh? I see where this is going. You're afraid of battling Kyouya. Mei-Mei totally guessed but made it sound like she read his mind.

Wha… Wha… Gingka slurred, unable to find the words as Mei-Mei guessed correctly.

It's OK, I won't tell anyone, it stays between the two of us. Mei-Mei said.

Gingka hesitated, torn whether he should reveal what's been nagging him in recent months. But something inside him told him Mei-Mei would understand. So Gingka took a deep breath.

I… I don't know if I can beat him tomorrow. Gingka confessed.

You? The Battle Blader's Champion and one of the two aces of GanGan Galaxy afraid of losing to another blader? Mei-Mei was confused how that was a problem.

Yeah… With everything on the line and seeing how much stronger Kyouya has gotten, I just feel like I haven't done enough. Seeing how he developed special moves to counter my Pegasus, I don't know if I can defeat him as I am. Gingka admitted.

I see, he's a powerful blader that's for sure but so are you Gingka. Mei-Mei complimented her crush.

Thanks Mei-Mei but-

But what? It's normal to second guess yourself, especially when you battle strong bladers but don't let that make you run away, face it Gingka. In beyblade, you never know who will win or lose until you try; So what if he trained to defeat you, you're as strong as he is.

Gingka, you're in the 3rd round of the world championship for a reason. Do you know how many can say they're battling in a world tournament? Mei-Mei rhetorically asked.

Um… few people? Gingka guessed.

Exactly! So what if Kyouya has created new special moves? That hasn't stopped you before! You defeated Ryuga! You eliminated Dashan, our leader who we thought was unstoppable. Don't you see? You're amazing, even with the odds against you, you never back down and why stop now? Just battle as you always do and trust in your bey. Mei-Mei gave her motivational speech.

Pegasus… Gingka looked at his Galaxy Pegasus, while Pegasus couldn't speak, he could feel Pegasus' determination.

Thanks Mei-Mei, you're right. I needed that. Gingka let the Chinese blader know his appreciation. Mei-Mei smiled back.

Now you owe me. Remember how we are in the wild card tournament? Mei-Mei said.

Gingka nodded.

When we beat Excalibur, we're coming for you and GanGan Galaxy to avenge our loss and become number one in the world. Gingka, I know you promised Dashan a rematch but I want you to battle me! Mei-Mei challenged him.

Hold up! You want me to battle you in the A-Block Final? Gingka asked to make sure he heard it right.

That's right! And let's make it interesting, the loser has to do whatever the winner asks of them. Mei-Mei suggested.

It's on! I'm not backing down from a challenge! Gingka accepted without any hesitation.

Hey Gingka? Mei-Mei called for Gingka's attention.

Yeah? Gingka responded.

Thanks for everything. Mei-Mei said without giving any context.

Thanking me for what? Gingka was clearly confused.

For being you.

Um, sorry did I miss something? Gingka asked.

Mei-Mei giggled. To tell you the truth, I've been a fan of yours for a long time. You gave me the strength to continue beyblading.

I did? Gingka curiously responded.

Mm, I wanted to quit beyblade. Like many I dreamed of becoming the best so I joined Beylin Temple but I realized I was nowhere good. I kept losing, I thought I wasn't good enough, I cried, I wanted to give up but then I saw you in Battle Bladers, seeing you overcome anyone, it gave me the strength to get better. I wouldn't be here if it weren't for you. Mei-Mei revealed.

Wow… I… I don't know what to say Mei-Mei. Gingka modestly said.

Mei-Mei shook her head.

You don't have to because you're the one I have to defeat. By defeating you, I have proved to myself, I can be the best, so watch out Gingka, I'm coming for you! Mei-Mei called out.

I'm looking… forward… to… it. Gingka felt his eyes shutting down as he needed sleep. Sorry Mei-Mei, I would love to talk more but I'mma hit the bed. Thanks for the talk, I needed that. Gingka yawned.

Goodnight Gingka and good luck tomorrow, I'll be cheering you on. Mei-Mei said as both hung up.

"OMG, OMG, I can't believe I said all those things to Gingka! Why did I challenge him?! Calm down Mei-Mei, if you win, you'll get that date." Mei-Mei touched her red cheeks, blushing from her chaotic emotions.

MEI-MEI! IT'S TIME FOR TRAINING! CHIYUN SHOUTED.

COMING!

Time flew by as the sun rose. The arena quickly became sold out as the fans couldn't wait to see how the 3rd round of the BWCS was going to unfold. Fireworks exploded in the air as Blader DJ took the stage to warm up the crowd.

Alright Bey Boy and Bey Girls! Welcome back to the third round of the BWCS. Japan's representatives GanGan Galaxy versus Africa's representatives Wildfang. The score is completely even - 1 win, 1 loss and 1 tie each, the fourth and final match which will decide who moves forward begins right now! This is tense as both teams have yet to announce who will compete. DJ recaps the results.

As the fans eagerly and nervously waited for their favorite bladers to arrive, some started to speculate the possible line-ups and results.

Tsubasa is out of the question right?

But Gingka and Akuma are in bad shape too, remember?

Will it be Nile and Demure?

I'll bet it's Nile versus Masamune again…

Who will be the bladers to take on this challenge with the team's fate riding on it. I'm CRAZY with anticipation. The stadium is buzzing with excitement! Who is going to lead their teams into battle?! DJ asks the crowd.

Let's go! Kyouya commanded his team.

The moment had come; Kyouya could barely hold in his excitement as he hadn't stopped grinning all day but his right hand man had other thoughts.

Wait Kyouya! Let's go Demure! Nile suddenly said.

Everyone else was taken back by Nile's sudden decision, Benkei couldn't believe his ears, Demure pointed at himself to make sure he heard it right, and Kyouya? He wasn't taking a NO for an answer.

Nile, just what do you think you're doing?! Kyouya hoped it was a bad joke.

Right now with your injuries - you just hold us back! Nile bluntly said.

Say that again?!

Do you think you can actually battle in your condition! Nile retorted.

Nile grabbed Kyouya's bandaged arm, proving he was right as just the smallest touch caused Kyouya great pain.

ARGH! Kyouya yelped.

See? You can't even stand on your own two feet Kyouya! Nile said.

Don't... UNDERESTIMATE ME! If you get in my way I'll take you down first! Kyouya threatened.

Somehow by sheer will, Kyouya simply shredded his bandages, taking his teammates by surprise.

I will finish things with Gingka no matter what happens! Do you hear me! I'll show no mercy to anyone who interferes! Kyouya stated.

Everyone in the room shut their mouths as Kyouya glared at them like a Lion reminding his pride who's in charge. Kyouya grabbed his Leon and left for the stadium with his teammates right behind.

Where is he? If he's late, then I'm going to show him! Madoka ranted.

Masamune was late and nobody knew where he was.

Relax, Madoka, I'm sure he'll be here soon. He wouldn't miss this for anything. Gingka defended his tag team partner.

You better be right, Gingka. Madoka sighed before continuing.

So how did the chat with Mei-Mei go? Madoka teased.

Huh? Oh right. She is doing alright and Wang Hu Zhong is training as hard as ever, I can't wait to battle them or Excalibur in the (A-Block) final! Gingka said with excitement in his voice.

As Gingka mentioned Mei-Mei's name, he felt his heart skip a beat.

"That's strange, I feel all fuzzy and warm… nevermind, I have a battle with Kyouya. I gotta focus." Gingka quickly shook his head.

Glad she's doing alright. You seem much more relaxed now that you chatted with her. Madoka pointed out.

Yeah… thanks Madoka for contacting her. I needed it. Gingka said.

Anytime, Gingka. Madoka responded.

So you excited about Kyouya, Gingka? Kenta asked.

You bet buddy, Pegasus and I will show them. They don't know what's coming! Gingka shouted.

Awesome! Kenta shouted.

This is going to be awesome. Yo-Yo and Ginky at each other. Why couldn't I battle? Yu sadly voiced his thoughts.

Don't worry little guy, you'll have your chance in the next BWCS.

Who are you calling little!? Yu yelled.

Suddenly the door opened up to reveal the man of the hour.

Finally, where have you been Mas- What happened to you?! Madoka yelped.

Masamune's clothes were dirty and looked like he'd gone to war.

Long story, are you guys ready? Masamune asked everyone in the room.

You bet, partner! Gingka gave a thumbs up.

Good. Let's win this! Gingka, you'll battle Kyouya right? Masamune asked.

Gingka nodded.

Great. Because I got a score to settle with Nile. Masamune said with determination.

Hey, Gingka? Kenta asked for Gingka's attention.

What's up, Kenta? Gingka asked back.

You sure, you'll be alright? You got hurt badly in your last match and Pegasus too. Kenta worryingly asked.

Kenta… I understand your worries but I'm going. Kyouya is waiting for me. Gingka simply said.

But… but. Kenta tried to say something.

Let it go, Kenta. Gingka has decided and we all know we can't stop him. Madoka said.

Madoka! Didn't you say, Pegasus was at his limit yesterday? Kenta shouted.

He knows but both you and I know it won't stop him from battling one of his greatest rivals. All we can do is cheer him on, OK? Madoka argued.

OK. Kenta gave up trying to convince Gingka.

A few minutes later, the time had come for what everyone was waiting for, the conclusion between GanGan Galaxy and Wildfang. Just who was going to come out on top.

It doesn't seem fair but only one of these two teams can move on to the final battle. It's time for us all to meet the bladers who have been entrusted with the fate of their team! From team Wildfang, the always hungry lion, KYOUYA! And the guy from the sky, NILE! Now their opponents from GanGan Galaxy are… Japan's ace GINGKA, and the guy who calls himself number one, the one and only MASAMUNE! DJ Introduced.

I thought he'd show up. Nile commented.

Don't plan on beating me again! You got it?! Just know this, I'm going to beat you! Masamune proclaimed.

Gingka! FinallyI get to beat you in front of everyone to see! Kyouya stated.

Keep dreaming! Gingka hit back.

All four bladers had enough of shit chatting - it was time to battle.

You can do it, Kyouya buddy! Benkei cheered.

You can do it you guys! Madoka cheered.

From the hospital, Akuma and Hikaru watched the battle live from Akuma's hospital bed.

You really put him through your paces. Hikaru remarked.

He asked for it. Now it's up to him. Akuma responded.

Somewhere else, Mei-Mei made sure to cheer on Gingka.

You can do it, Gingka! Mei-Mei shouted to the TV screen.

Let's start these engines! Ready!

3! Nile began the count down.

2! Masamune was next up.

1! Kyouya said.

LET IT - Gingka began saying.

RIP!

Go Striker! Masamune shouted.

Nile simply grinned back.

Will the first clash be between Masamune and Nile? Now Striker is heading straight for Horuseus! What is going on?! Whoa! DJ commented.

Striker missed his target as Horuseus dodged out of the way.

Get back here! Masamune demanded.

Hope I didn't shock you but attacking the weakest opponent is a good call, a really good call, Horuseus! Nile explained his strategy.

It looks like Horuseus' target is Pegasus! DJ commented.

All that matters is that a spot in the final is riding on this match! The next attack will finish you for good! Nile claimed.

Gingka watch out! Kenta shouted from the stands.

Gingka gritted his teeths while Masamune frustratingly watched as Nile didn't deem him worthy to battle.

Go now, Horus! Nile commanded.

Just as Horuseus was about to send Pegasus flying, Rock Leon intervened, saving Pegasus from a fatal attack.

He's mine, Nile! Do you understand?! Kyouya roared.

Kyouya! Nile couldn't believe it.

Stand down right now! Kyouya commanded.

But… But. Nile tried to argue back but Kyouya and Gingka had already started.

Let's dance Gingka!

Yeah! That's why I came here for, Kyouya!

Leon!

Pegasus!

Both beys attacked head on, creating sparks with each hit; neither backing down or trying to defend.

Stop this Kyouya! You need to leave this fight to me-

You should keep your head up! Hey Nile! You're battling against me, don't you remember? Masamune interrupted.

Striker took Horuseus by surprise but it wasn't enough to slow it down.

You can't win against me buddy, didn't you learn that lesson the last time we battled? Nile reminds.

Yeah I know. I lost in all my hard work trying to become number one. I was almost crushed by you in that match but I've got news pal! I got over it; I'm back and it's a brand new payday so heads up Nile! You can push me down to the bottom but I'll keep crawling back up again and again! Let's go Striker! Masamune said.

Now Striker was getting the upper hand as the unicorn barraged with several light attacks making Horus wobble.

Meanwhile Pegasus and Leon kept butting wheels with each other as the crowd was awestruck by each competitor's competitive spirit.

What a great battle! it's blader versus blader out there! Great rivals fighting it out. It's just as exciting as the first, second and the third matchups! DJ eagerly commented.

Get him! King Lion Tearing-! Kyouya tried to summon a special move.

Kyouya collapsed to one knee as Leon failed to summon one of its many special moves. Gingka seeing an opportunity to strike, tried to conquer the king of the beasts but Gingka too succumbed to his injuries.

Gingka! Masamune worryingly shouted.

What is happening? Are they still hurting from their matches? Neither of them can use their special moves! DJ pointed out.

ARGHHH! Both Kyouya and Gingka fought through their pain as their partners didn't let up.

But Pegasus and Leon continue to clash. These two warriors will battle through anything for victory! DJ explained.

It's not over yet! Let's go Gingka! Kyouya roared.

Bring it on, Kyouya! Gingka replied.

Both of them are nearing their limit out there. Who is going to run out of steam first folks? DJ asked the crowd.

Will it be Kyouya or will it be Gingka? DJ continued his train of thought.

Before that happens I'll settle this thing here and now! Masamune shouted.

Striker pushes for a showdown!

What?! Nile gasped as Striker was backing Horuseus into a corner.

I'm not the same person you've won against last time, Nile! So don't you dare underestimate me, you hear?! Masamune shouted.

Is that right?! Horuseus! Do it now! Nile commanded.

Don't quit now! Keep going! Go Striker.

All four bladers were going at it at full strength with no one showing any signs of backing down.

Awesome, Masamune! Kenta, Madoka, and Yu cheered for their friend.

Things are looking good for them out there. Hikaru commented.

Hm… Akuma stared intensely at the screen.

Something wrong, Akuma? Hikaru asked.

Both teams are doing good but no one is battling like a team. This battle will be decided by the team that actually plays like a team. Akuma assessed.

Boom baby! Striker has been hit hard and fast. Things were looking even a moment ago but Striker is letting up. DJ commented.

No way! Don't let up now, Striker! Masamune demanded his beyblade to not back down.

I can't blow this second chance. The chance my friends worked so hard for me to get. Masamune berated himself.

Masamune… Ginkga looked over to his teammate who was looking like he was beginning to lose hope.

GINGKA! Don't look away from me! Kyouya shouted.

I'll admit, you've gotten stronger and in such a short amount of time as well but you're still no match for my Horuseus. Nile proclaimed.

Am I gonna be defeated like this again? Come on, think! I can't let all the training go to waste!

As Masamune struggled to get back into the game, he heard everyone call him out..

MASAMUNE! Madoka, Kenta, Hikaru, Gingka, and even felt like Tsubasa & Akuma were calling out to him.

You guys… That's it! Masamune snapped out of his thoughts.

Flap your wings Horuseus! Nile commanded.

Let's finish this right now, Gingka! Kyouya suggested.

No problem at all, Kyouya! Gingka accepted the challenge.

Huh?!

Masamune?! Gingka gasped.

Striker had just intervened in the battle between Pegasus and Leon. DJ commented.

Gingka! I need your power too, OK? It's tough to admit… but I can't win against Nile with my power alone but if we… If we combine our strengths, we can make it a team battle after all. Masamune admitted.

At that moment, Gingka remembered the vow the team made together in Greece/

We'll win and go to the final together! We will win the BWCS, and become number one! We will win for Akuma and Tsubasa who are connected to us like brothers! So… LET'S DO IT GINGKA! Masamune continued.

Masamune… Alright I understand. Gingka nodded.

Striker is pushing Pegasus forward, what are they planning to do?! Madoka asked herself.

GO NOW! Masamune and Gingka shouted in sync.

Striker pushed Pegasus so both had enough speed to fly high into the sky.

Huh?! Nile looked confused.

What now? Kyouya wondered.

Here we go! Special move time! Pegasus, Star Booster Attack! Striker, Lightning Sword Flash!

Alright, now you're talking turkey. Get him Gingka, Masamune! Yu, Madoka, and Kenta shouted together.

Kyouya buddy! Benkei yelped.

I WON'T ALLOW IT! Kyouya shouted.

Leon summoned a vortex, slowing down their opponents' special attacks.

I'll hold them back, Nile! Hurry up and use Mystic Zone NOW! Kyouya demanded.

What?! Nile barely registered what was going on.

The only thing we can do is bet on your special move! Send them flying along with me! Don't hesitate. Now quickly! Kyouya shouted.

OK Kyouya, Horuseus! Nile yelled.

I don't think so, Nile! Keep going Pegasus! Gingka shouted.

Leon! Kyouya roared as Leon resisted Pegasus' charge.

Hang in there, don't give up you guys! Yu cheered.

Oh no! Both Pegasus and Leon are at their limit! If this keeps up both of them will be destroyed! Madoka stated.

The light is fully charged! Special move: Mystic Zo-!

Nile was about to release his special move but as if time slowed down, everyone in the arena could hear a crack as Leon couldn't keep up its vortex as well as not being able to keep up with the fresher and less damaged Pegasus.

Its performance tip and spin track cracked as the vortex abruptly faded. That gave Striker the opening it needed as it hit Horuseus just as Mystic Zone was about to be released. The collison created a blinding light as the battle came to an end.

Ah! Pegasus, Leon and Horuseus have all stopped but where in the world is Masamune's Striker? DJ wondered.

It's right here! Masamune pointed out as Striker wobbled at the center of the stadium.

The winner is Masamune! The victor of the third round is team GGG! DJ announced.

We did it!

That was amazing, Masamune & Gingka! Kenta applauded.

Thank goodness. If Leon took even a little more damage, it wouldn't have been able to make it. Madoka felt relieved.

They… They lost? Demure couldn't believe it.

What an amazing battle that was! Hikaru complimented.

Nice job. Akuma added.

Number one huh? Well what do you know? Maybe he was right after all. Masamune's passion for the BWCS was maybe just a little bit stronger than Kyouya's desire to defeat Gingka. A job well done Masamune and Gingka, my son. Ryo praised the victors.

I am so sorry Kyouya. Nile apologized.

Don't worry about it. It's not your fault. Kyouya said.

It wasn't? Nile asked.

I'm still too weak for this. I hope you win Gingka. Kyouya cheered for his rival.

Sorry what? Gingka was taken by surprise.

Cause you're still gonna lose to me next time! Kyouya vowed.

Of course… you just leave it to me! Gingka replied.

See ya! In typical Kyouya fashion, Kyouya didn't stay for the celebrations and quickly began leaving the venue with his fellow Wildfang member right behind.

Merry Christmas & New Year Everyone!
