Neb: What can I say accept for I don't own Beyblade, Beyblade Burst, Beyblade Rise, or any other forms of Beyblade. This is just an OC fanfic, starring my OC Domori Venger. Sin sets up a tournament in order to reach her brother through blading. He's been battling with his other personas recently and his Shadow side had been taking his body for a ride. Not to mention he's been down in the dumps about winning every match-up he's been in. Unfortunately for Sin, she had lost her first round by challenging the World Champion Aiger Akabane head on. Fumiya got a rematch against Domori and still lost, and now Domori is up against Delta. Will Delta be able to bring Domori out of the depression he has fallen into. Will Diabolos devour the Spring Loaded beyblade Draconids? Let's find out, I hope you all enjoy.
"It sucks," Domori spoke up as Delta sat next to him. The first people to face each other was Aiger and Crystal. Crystal had done a running start before spinning in the air and launching. Aiger matched her power just by jumping. "I had hoped to face off against you, Valt, Dante sooner, but instead I got stuck with some Free Wannabe, who couldn't think to build an original design. At the very least he could have trained his mind and body like my sister did when she inherited Spriggan, but no. My sister was the one who challenged me also, but she's out in the first round."
"Don't worry about Fumiya or Sin," Delta scoffed. "I'm your opponent now, and I will do more than just provide a challenge. I will show you that I am the number one blader."
Domori couldn't help but smirk at Delta's confidence. Delta really was his greatest pupil, no offense to the others. Komoto was strong but he lack ingenuity. Crystal was the opposite, she lacked strength. Then there was Dante, the underdog of all of his students. Dante was a good blader, and a great addition to Domori's pupils. But he was an air head when it came to strategy, his training methods were nothing short of bazaar, he always made promises he couldn't back up, he didn't know what personal space was, and for the longest time he couldn't even keep his dragon inside the ring. No, Domori shook his head to try and focus about his upcoming fight. He didn't hate Dante in any way shape or form, There was a genius hiding under all of those quirks, if anyone can prove to break their limits during a battle, it was him. Yet, it wasn't Dante, Delta, or Crystal who broke their limitation. It was Komoto, Komoto learned to control his resonance through instinct.
"Domori really has an eye for talent," Aiger admitted as he stood up in front of Crystal.
She was on her hands and knees as she panted. Her blade laid burst right in front of them. "I... I can't believe it."
"You did your best," Aiger nodded. "And you actually made me sweat for a second there. I hope we face each other again in the future."
She looked up and nodded. "Come face me in my Ice Ring some time, I'll show you real power there."
Aiger grinned at her and nodded before helping her up.
"Aiger wins his battle," Sin called out. "Next is Domori vs Delta!"
The two of them headed towards the stands.
"Domori, Delta," Valt spoke up as he stared down at the serious looks in both of their eyes. "Which persona is Delta facing?"
"We haven't yet broken him out of his funk," Shu pointed out. "So I'm guessing his calm side is the one we are witnessing. If Delta can score a point against him we might be able to trigger his beast mode."
"Either way, I'm facing off against every side of him," Valt grinned.
"You'll have to beat me first," Shu smirked at Valt.
"Let's get this done with," Domori called out to Delta.
"My thoughts exactly," Delta shouted back. He saw Domori load his blade into his right handed launcher. "Tch!"
"He doesn't mean disrespect," Valt explained from the stands. "Domori switches stances in between battles, don't let him throw you off your game!"
"Getting some tips from Valt I see," Domori pointed out. "That won't be enough."
"I don't need his help and I don't need yours," Delta shook his head. "Because, only one star in the sky can shine the brightest!" He changed his blade to Erase Diabolos. No doubt Domori was feeling over confident about his win against Wizard Fafnir, another left spinning beyblade.
3 Domori ran backwards surprising Dellta.
2 He then sprinted forwards.
"He's not," Crystal shook as her eyes widened.
1 Domori performs Crystal's spin launch that she just showed in the last match.
"Let it Rip," they both yelled as their blades hit the arena.
There were two modes for Delta's Diabolos, Venom Diabolos the right spinning beyblade, and Erase Diabolos the left spinning blade. As Domori could see, Delta had chosen the left spinning blade. "You really think I'd become overconfident from beating trash!"
"What did he say?", Fumiya fumed from the stands.
"Ah, he's fighting the mean side," Crystal assessed. "We've seen a lot of him when training under him." Komoto nods next to her in agreement.
"Just because your holding back doesn't mean I'm not going to give it my all," Delta yelled at Domori. "If you lose because you underestimate me, then that's your problem!"
"You really are taking offense to my right handed launch," Domori sighed. "I'm saving my full powered launch for when I face the Legends, Delta. However, you've gotten use to fighting my right hand, so I'll promise you this. Whether you win or lose, I'll face you at full power upon our third battle."
"What kind of?! Tch!"
"That's actually a big compliment coming from him," Sin pointed out from the stands. "My brother hates fighting people more than twice if they don't improve in between. For him to make that declaration when you've barely started fighting, means you've left an impression on him before the battle."
"I don't need you making excuses for him," Delta yelled at Sin.
"Well screw you to!"
"Both Sin and Delta have strong personalities," Aiger pointed out. Valt nodded in agreement as he smiled and laughed nervously.
"Shining Launch!"
"Counter Draconids," Domori yelled. "Meteor Sword Uproar!"
Their blades collided again as sparks begun to fly. Domori's blade went for the low sweep sending Diabolos flying in the air. But that was part of Delta's plan, his performance tip released the clone and the two of them started swinging at Draconids from both sides.
"We find ourselves in a similar situation from last time," Domori grinned. "But your hoping that by left spinning you can slow me down. Well that's not going to work!"
"All you do it talk! Back it up Domori! I'm not the same blader you faced back in Spain!"
A dark aura begun to form around Domori as his eyes turned gold. His grin began to form revealing sharp teeth. The dagger extended shifting it's weight. "How do you keep bringing this side out of me Delta! I admire your conviction! Now go Draconids, Heal!"
Draconids slammed against a wall pushing the tip of it's dagger back inwards turning the gears within it backwards.
"There it is, his blade healed," Aiger shouted.
"Such an annoying feature," Gwyn admitted. "But not good enough, he sacrificed power for protection. As an attack type that's what did him in."
"I'm not so sure," Valt shook his head. "The feature may lean more towards balance, but Domori was inspired by Lui, Xander, and I to build Meteor Draconids as a spring loaded dragon dagger."
"Not to mention he hasn't lost a single match since coming back to Japan," Shu added. "Domori is at the height of his powers, but..."
"But?", Aiger questioned.
Shu closed his eyes and sighed. "He's really on that aura, the same kind that we used when we were at our lowest. His mind and body might be at it's strongest, but his spirit is broken."
"His ideals has been about finding a strong opponent who could meet him in battle," Crystal nodded. "His old club couldn't measure up, that's why he left them. Not to mention Wasuke, his team leader felt threatened by him."
"Fine I get it," Gwyn sighed. "He's strong and smart. But he won't be able to enter the Hyperflux in his current state, and Delta has that power."
"You're right about that at least," Shu nodded.
Sin turned to Shu surprised and then turned back. "You guys really don't know my brother. He's not blocked out of Hyperflux from the darkness, he's concealing his Hyperflux in the darkness!"
Everyone turned to her in surprise and then turned back to the fight.
"Come on Delta," Domori shouted. "Show me your true power! Meteor Repulse!"
"Now's the time to strike," Delta responded. "Diabolos, Hyper Flux!" His blade begun to flow gold as his blade circled the arena as high speeds. "Now, Shining Crux!" His beyblade and the clone beyblade crashed into Draconids from both sides avoiding the tip of the dagger.
"He's trying to take it out during the healing process," Domori realized. "That clever little! No, it isn't over. My tip might be touching the wall, but I've still got one feature!" The darkness begun to clear away from Domori as his blade pointed it's tip towards the ground. When the springs reclined and shot back out again, the tip pushed against the ground causing Draconids to launch itself into the air.
"What?!", Delta seethed. "What are you doing now?!"
"Thanks Delta," Domori smiled. The darkness no longer surrounded him, and now he was surrounded by golden light. "I couldn't have done this without you."
Delta stared back at him, but to everyone's surprise he smiled back. "Give it your all Domori!"
"Draconic Spring Dive!" The aura around his blade looked like shining golden wings as Draconids entered Hyper Flux. "Now go!"
Just as their blades were about to collide. Another blade suddenly shot into the arena. A black dagger, similar to Meteor Draconids, but a little bit rounder.
"W-what?", both Delta and Domori responded surprised.
The black dagger knocked both Diabolos and it's clone out of the arena, and then slammed into Draconids as the blade went crashing towards the arena.
"Is it another Concealed?", Candice wondered.
"No," a boy with a mask spoke up. "It is the Apocalypse. Now break him."
A dark wave shot across the arena as Meteor Draconids begun to crack. Delta had pushed Draconids past it's stage of healing. Not to mention Draconids could not heal from it's current position. So long as it remained in the air, Draconids didn't have any walls to crash the tip of it's bladr. The dagger top could not press against the black dagger that it was currently fighing either. the black dagger was curtently striking it from the top of the energy layer.
"W-what's going on?", Domori wondered. The image of a blue dragon appeared before him cracked like a mirror. "Draconids no!"
"D-Domori!", a voice shouted from within Domori's head. As that voice screamed Meteor Draconids broke to pieces.
