Previously on The Exiles, it was all-out war on the planet Zeenu as the Louds, the Smiths, and the rest of their allies come together to rescue Roger and Lincoln from Zing's and Drek's clutches. To which they succeeded but not without some costs as the planet Zeenu was destroyed and the Iron Giant and many others that were also on that planet were killed in the calamity.

The team along with the surviving Zeenuians managed to escape the aliens and get back to Earth. Despite making it home, the troubles for the Exiles and their friends weren't over. In fact, they were only just beginning.

The story continues now!

Chapter 38: The New Normal!

In front of the Loud House, the group has just returned to Earth, and they stood in shock and surprise for a few minutes.

They just couldn't believe it.

One minute they were fighting for their lives against the combined armies of Zing and Drek on a spaceship, witnessed a planet getting destroyed right before their eyes and now...

Now, thanks to Hekapoo's dimensional scissors, they actually managed to escape with their lives and make it back to Earth.

To those not from Earth, they were a little nervous of being from a whole new world.

To those that were actually from Earth, they were surprised yet extremely relived that they actually managed to get back home.

They were here.

They were actually here!

"So, this is Earth?" The yellow Zircon asked in confusion.

"Appears so." The blue Zircon said as she gazed at the house briefly

Without warning Leni shouted. "WE'RE HOME!"

Instantly, everyone began to cheer as Dan, Chris, Elise embraced each other as Leni, Luan, Lana and Lucy did the same as did the Murphy family.

"Thank God!" Roger said as he embracing Steve, Jeff, Klaus, Hayley, and Francine after the alien quickly fashioned a disguise for himself utilizing his incredibly super speed consisting of a red shirt, a black wig and purple jeans.

"Thank goodness we're back." Bridgette said as she embraced her family even more.

"Thank the stars we're back!" Peridot said as she began to literally kiss the concrete.

"Thank the stars indeed." Amethyst as she fell on her back, just happy that she's home at last.

Bismuth smiled at the two before looking at others celebrating too.

"CLYDE?!"

"BOBBY?! RONNIE ANNE?!"

Pushing through the stunned crowd were Clyde's Dads' Howard and Harold McBride and Bobby and Ronnie Anne's mother Maria Santiago, all of them having tears in their eyes.

"DADS!" Clyde exclaimed as he ran towards his fathers without a moment's hesitation.

"MOM!" Bobby and Ronnie exclaimed as they ran towards their mother with breakneck speed.

Clyde jumped into his dads' arms as tears streamed down all of their faces.

"Clyde! You're okay! Thank God!" Howard said as he continued to embrace his son.

"I agree Howie!" Harold said with tears running down his face as well.

"I'm so happy to see you guys again!" Clyde said through his tears. "I thought it was going to be impossible!"

Maria embraced her son and daughter in a tight hug, tears streaming down her face.

"Roberto, Ronalda! ¡Estoy tan feliz de que estén a salvo! ¿Qué les pasó a ustedes? ¡No volviste a casa después de ese partido de softbol al que asistimos!" Maria said in Spanish as she was relieved yet nervous as to what her kids went through.

"We're okay Mom." Bobby said as he rubbed his mother's back.

"Look, we'll explain everything later." Ronnie Anne said, happy that she's seeing her mom again, but she needed to remain focused as she gestured to the strange newcomers. "But right now, we need to get these guys somewhere safe."

Pushing through the crowd, Stan quickly looked eyes with his family. "Francine? Steve? Hayley? Klaus? Jeff?"

"STAN!" Klaus, Francine, Roger and Jeff said as he ran towards him embracing him.

"DAD!" Steve and Hayley shouted as joined in on the hug as well.

"You're alright, I'm so glad." Stan said as he tightened his embrace.

"It's so good to see you again, honey!" Francine said as she many kisses on her husband's cheek.

"We missed you so much, Dad!" Steve said as he had tears in his eyes.

"It just wasn't the same without you there with us!" Hayley said as she couldn't stop crying.

As everyone was busy celebrating and reuniting with their families, the only one that wasn't doing either was Lincoln, who was still staring at the house as many different things were running through his head like pictures on a film reel projector being shown on a screen.

"Lincoln?" Leggy noticed as she went to his side quickly.

Hearing Leggy go to Lincoln's side caused his sisters, Clyde, Ronnie Anne, and a few of the others to quickly rush to his side as well.

Suddenly, he was feeling a sharp pain in his head as he felt many memories he didn't know he had as he felt them all rushing into his mind as they were all coming back to him in full force.

After for what seemed like hours, Lincoln breathed heavily as it was all clear to him now as he was processing everything that went into his mind.

Looking around, he saw that he was in front of his house and there was a massive crowd of people in front of it.

"Are you okay?" Leni asked as she reached towards him with her hand.

Only for Lincoln to slap it away. "No! Don't touch me!" The boy shouted as he instinctively backed away in fear.

"Woah, woah, Lincoln it's okay." Leggy said gently as she knelt down to him. "We're on Earth."

"W-We are?" Lincoln said as he looked around once again and saw his friends staring at him with gentle expressions.

He then looked at his friends. "Cl-Clyde? Ronnie Anne? Is that really you?"

"Of course, it's us Lame-O." Ronnie said with joyful tears in her eyes.

"We're g-glad you're alright buddy." Clyde said as he gently embraced his best friend.

"Don't forget us dawg." said a voice.

The three kids looked as they saw Rusty, Zach and Liam rush through the crowd and embraced the two as well.

Suddenly, various memories flashed through Lincoln's mind as he was embraced by his friends.

After a few seconds, he said. "I remember."

The guys released the three friends as Zach said. "Huh? Remember? What do you remember?"

"Everything." Lincoln said as he backed away a little. "I remember everything, my life, my friends." He then looked at Leni, Luan, Lucy and Lana as he began to shed tears. "Sadly, my family too."

Lincoln clenched his fist as he glared at his four sisters. Milo, sensing the intention quickly got in between them.

"Lincoln, wait! I know you're angry but before you do something, you should know something." Milo quickly said as he held his arms out.

Looking at the Danville jinx for a second caused the young boy to calm himself a little. "Really, what's that, Milo?" He asked with gritted teeth.

"Your four sisters actually helped us rescue you and Roger when you were both captured by Zing." Milo explained noticing the boy's hostility towards his family right now.

"Wait we were- what?!" Lincoln said in shock. Was he hearing that right? He was captured and Roger was too. How, when did that happen?

Seeing his confusion, Roger spoke up. "It's true Lincoln, it all happened."

Looking to the ground, the boy then said. "Okay, tell me everything that happened. Everything. Spare no details."

The news reporter Katherine Mulligan and her cameraman were recording everything that was happening unknown to everyone.

"You're hearing it here folks." She began as she still couldn't believe what has happened. "A few minutes ago, outside the Loud House, we witnessed a strange portal coming from out of nowhere as Lincoln Loud, the boy who was shot into space has returned along with a few other residents of Royal Woods and a lot of unknown people came out of the portal as well. Who are these strange visitors and are they friend or foe? More coverage as we continue."

Back with the Exiles, they alongside Clyde, Bobby, Ronnie Anne, the 4 Loud sisters, and the residents now turned refugees of Zeenu took turns explaining to the young boy what happened. How Nesmith found him, how he was captured, how the group from Earth came to Zeenu, the battle on the ship, who Drek is, how he and a few others lost and then regained their powers after some time, what happened to Jasper, the destruction of Zeenu and finally how they managed to get home.

"And that's everything that went down." Eclipsa said as she couldn't believe it herself.

Lincoln couldn't believe it. This was a lot to take it. Granted, he asked for it but still. He was trying to understand how to feel. On one hand he was happy to finally get back home and was reunited with Clyde, Ronnie Anne and his other friends and he was also happy that Lana, Leni, Luan and Lucy finally came to their senses after a while. On the other hand, now that he was back, he now has to confront the rest of his family, and he didn't know if could be able to control himself emotionally in that confrontation. Hopefully, his friends are with him so they might be able to keep him calm just in case he lost control.

Lincoln then closed his eyes and took a deep breath before opening them and he begin to walk towards his home.

"Lincoln?" Leni asked.

Lincoln ignored his sister as the others followed him.

Looking towards the door, the man with the plan then said to himself. "Alright Lincoln, it's time to face them."

He clenched his fists before raised one of his legs and with some strength kicked the door open without using his powers.

Inside the living the rest of the Louds (sans Lily who was now in her crib) alongside Phineas, Ferb, Amanda and the rest of their friends quickly ran down the stairs as fast as they could. They arrived just in time to see the front door get kicked opened causing all of them to freeze in their tracks.

Lincoln stepped inside his sisters, Clyde, Ronnie Anne, Bobby, Milo, Dan, and Roger as well as the Smiths, Leggy, the other Rubies, Holly Blue, Emerald, the other 3 Crystal Gems, Perry, Dr. Doofenshmirtz and the freed slaves and Zeenuians following behind him nervously.

For the next few seconds, it was nothing but total silence. Lincoln was looking at the rest of his family with an angry yet stoic expression on his face. Everyone else was looking at him with nervous yet relieved expressions on their faces.

The living room was quiet for a few more seconds before Lincoln spoke. "Hello family we're home."

"B-Bobby?" Lori said with tears in her eyes.

"Hey babe." Bobby said with tears in her eyes.

Without even wasting a second, the two teens embraced each other as they began to cry. Ronnie Anne witnessing this couldn't help but roll her eyes. "Typical of Lori. Focusing more on her relationship than what she did."

"I missed you so much, Boo-Boo Bear." The oldest Loud daughter said as she tightened her hold.

"Same here, Lori." Bobby said as he wiped tears from his face. "But let's focus on the elephant in the room."

The two teens released their romantic hold on each other as they looked on as Rita sniffled as tears appeared in her eyes. "L-L-Lincoln, L-Leni, Luan, Lucy, Lana. You're all home."

"Thank goodness." Lynn Sr. said as he too had tears in his eyes.

Without warning, the two parents ran up and embraced the five kids. While the girls embraced them back, the son of the family just stood there, his expression remaining the same.

After a few seconds, the Loud parents let go of their daughters and tried to embrace their only son only Lincoln to take a step back.

"Don't even think about it." Lincoln said calmly causing Rita and Lynn Sr. to freeze in place from shock. "If you try to touch me then I will not be held responsible for what I do next."

The parents quickly backed away to avoid angering their son even more than he clearly was. With his parents compliant, the boy spoke again. "Everyone, as happy as I am to be back home after nearly a month or so of being away, let me introduce you guys to my new friends." He then gestured his hand to the massive crowd behind him. "The crew you see behind me are also people who were shot into space with me. Mr. Dan, Mr. Chris, Globgor, Eclipsa, Meteora, Roger, the Murphy family consisting of Milo Sara Mr. and Mrs. Murphy." He then looked around and saw that there was a noticeable one currently missing. "Wait, where's Jasper?"

Amethyst cleared her throat, getting Lincoln's attention. "Right here little dude." She said, reaching into her pocket and pulling her "sister's" gemstone.

"Okay, she's safe. That's good." Lincoln said as he extended his hand. "Could you give her to me, please?"

Amethyst, along with Bismuth and Peridot were shocked. "Are you nuts?! You want me to give her to you?!" The overcooked runt asked.

"Yes, I actually became a friend to Jasper, and she's been quite the ally when she needs to be." Lincoln spoke honestly, his hand still out. "It's best that she's in the hands of someone who got to know her if briefly then in the hands of someone she considers an enemy."

The three Crystal Gems looked at each other. They were rather hesitant well Peridot and Amethyst were especially given their respective histories with the Kindergarten Quartz that Could.

Bismuth was at a crossroads. On one hand from what she heard from her fellow Crystal Gems, Jasper was dangerous. Why was this kid risking his safety, his friends' and family's safety and the safety everyone currently present just for this one gem when she eventually regenerates.

Suddenly, the purple quartz felt a cold hand on her shoulder. Looking to her right, she saw that it was Sapphire.

"Sapphire." Amethyst said in surprise.

"Hello Amethyst, Bismuth, Peridot." The cold gem said with a nervous tone. "You should give Jasper to Lincoln. If he's right, I think we can trust him. When Jasper regenerates, if she tries something we'll stop her just like we did many times before."

Sighing, the purple gem tossed the orange gemstone to the boy. "Here's your soon-to-be headache kid."

However, before Lincoln could catch it, the gem started glowing.

"Oh boy." Lincoln as she shielded his eyes.

"Get back everyone!" Bismuth shouted as the light around the diamond-shaped gem began to take form.

The people of Royal Woods and the newcomers quickly backed away as the light dissipated revealing the new form of the orange giant of a gem.

Upon reforming, Jasper immediately put her fists up and began to look around frantically. "Where is he?!"

Eclipsa took a step forward. "Easy Jasper. We're safe now."

Hearing her voice caused the quartz to stop as Japer looked at the Mewman with skepticism. "Safe huh? Where are we?"

"Well for one." Milo began as he stepped forward. "We're back on Earth."

That seemed to annoy Jasper a bit as rolled her eyes. "Great. The moment I thought I was out I get pulled back in." She then asked. "What happened on that other planet?"

Bismuth took a step forward. "A lot. So much that it would take all day to explain everything."

Jasper then turned and saw the four gems. and instinctively clenched her fists as she glared at them. "You... waste of minerals has some audacity to approach me. Especially after what you did to me! I should shatter you four right now!"

Amethyst, Peridot and Bismuth got into fighting stances as Sapphire stepped forward. "Hold on Jasper, we have more pressing matters to attend to than-"

Jasper quickly grabbed the blue gem by her throat and lifted her up. "I'm not taking orders from the likes of you traitor!"

Before Jasper or the Crystal Gems could do anything, Lincoln spoke up. "Jasper. If you're going to confront those four, please do it somewhere else. I want to keep the property damage to a minimum. I'm not interested in trying to stop you from tearing up the place. I suggest you put that gem down, she might be helpful long term."

Jasper looked at the boy who had an unintimidated look on his face as she then thought about it. On one hand, she could easily give into her temptation and fight these flawed gems right then and there. They were the reason she was shot into space after all.

But on the other hand, Lincoln did suggest that she hold off. Since the boy had already proven himself in their fight and considering she just reformed, she let out a sigh of very heavy reluctance.

"Fine, out of respect for your skills, I'll indulge you." Jasper said as she released Sapphire from her diamond hard grip, acquiescing to the young boy's request as she walked over to the right as far from the traitors as she wanted to be, but still on Lincoln's side.

The orange brute saw his family and was rather unimpressed. "So, you're the ones who shot him into space?" She asked, putting Sapphire down and caused the other gems to stand down for the time being.

"W-We are." Lori began nervously as she turned to Lincoln. "Lincoln, we're-"

Lincoln put a hand to stop her. "Let me stop you right there, I'm not done." He then continued with the introductions. "Anyways these are many of the slaves that the alien emperor Zing had captured like the Zircons, Holly Blue Aate, Emerald, the squad of Rubies, Doc, Army, Navy and my special one here known as Leggy." He said the last name with a hint of blush on his cheeks as he held the Ruby's hand, causing her to heat up a little before he cleared his throat and continued. "Topaz, Mr. Sinbad, Phil, the robot S.I.G.H, and many others that I would take too long name specially and mostly because I don't know that much about them other than the fact that they were also enslaved."

"Hope you haven't forgotten about me."

"Huh?" Lincoln said as he looked around wondering who said that before he looked down and was even more shocked.

It was the Majestic said. Somehow, he was still alive. Only reduced to a really small size.

"Majestic, is that you?" Lincoln asked as he was completely shocked.

"Of course." The squid said. "If you're wondering how I survived. To make a long story short, I shrunk down to this size and crawl into your back pocket during the fight on Zing's ship."

The boy smiled and said, "It's good to see you alive."

"Same here." The Majestic said.

Looking back at his family with irritation, he continued the introductions. "The rest are aliens from another planet known as Zeenu, a few who helped me when you guys refused to such as Nesmith and Aseefa." Turning to the Glamorian warrior and the ape respectively, the boy then said. "I want to take this moment to thank you both for saving my life when I nearly bit it crashing Zing's ship, I am eternally grateful."

"No need to thank us. Helping anyone whether they are from our planet or not is what us Zeenuians are all about." Aseefa said with a smile.

Leggy didn't understand why but she didn't like the way the Glamorian was smiling at her boyfriend. She'll have to figure that out later.

"You are quite welcome, Lincoln Loud." Nesmith said with a smile as he shook the boy's hand. "I just want to thank you for helping me get back to Earth."

Lincoln then turned back to his family his expression going from grateful to angry almost immediately. "Alright, now I got the introductions and my respective thanks out of the way, I want answers. Now! Why did you do it?"

"That's what I would like to know too." said a familiar yet elderly voice.

Hearing the voice spooked the boy as he then turned around and saw an old man with white hair.

"Pop-Pop/Dad/Dad-in-law?" said the Louds in surprise as Lincoln Leni, Luan, Lucy and Lana hugged the old man.

"It's so nice to see you, Pop-Pop?" Leni said as she was happy at seeing her beloved grandpa.

"If I had a heart, it would be beating with joy at seeing you Pop-Pop." Lucy said as a smile appeared on her usually gloomy face.

"It's good to see you Pop-Pop." Luan said as she was surprised to see her mom's father.

"How's the retirement home, Pop-Pop?" Lana said as tightened her hug around her grandpa's leg.

"It's good to see you guys." Pop-Pop said as he embraced his few grandkids. "Especially you, Lincoln. Heard you've been through a lot."

Despite being happy that his grandfather was here, Lincoln couldn't help but say. "Yeah, I have."

The other Louds wanted to hug and welcome Pop-Pop as well, but they were nervous of getting close to him with Lincoln, especially with his recent anger surfacing.

After the six of the Louds released their grandkids, Albert walked towards the rest of his family sticking his arms out. "Come on family, no hugs?"

Without missing a beat Lori, Luna Lisa, Lola, Lynn Jr., and their parents ran towards the old man as he was quickly wrapped into a big group hug.

"Hey Pop-Pop, has Sue been treating you well." Lynn Jr said.

"She let come here and didn't stop me so that was an improvement." Pop-Pop said with a chuckle.

"Hey Pop-Pop, how's it been?" Lori asked.

"Yeah, Grand Star, it's been a hot minute." Luna said happy to see her Pop-Pop in the flesh.

"It's been a good time for me." Pop-Pop said with a smile before he then frowned. "I know about what you guys did."

Rita, feeling like she was going to be in for a scolding once this was over, sighed before she said. "Yeah, don't worry Dad, we're explain everything."

"In fact, Albert, you're just in time." Lynn Sr. said as he was happy to see his dad in law again.

After a few more seconds, Pop-Pop released his other family members before he stepped back as Lincoln repeated himself. "Now that Pop-Pop's here, I'm going to ask again. Why did you guys do it?"

Lola spoke up nervously, especially with Pop-Pop now here. "Well, um, at f-first, we thought you were bad l-UGH!"

Before the little princess could even finish that sentence, she felt Lincoln grab her by the throat before slamming her into the floor, surprising everyone.

"Lincoln?!" Clyde said as he was shocked at what his best friend just did.

"Dang dude!" Ronnie Anne as she couldn't believe what she just saw.

"Lincoln?!" Pop-Pop said as he couldn't believe what he was seeing. "Calm down!"

"Lincoln, what are you doing?!" Lana said in shock at what her brother was doing to her twin sister. "Let her go!"

"Don't worry Lana, I will." Lincoln said, not even bothering to look at the young mechanic as he addressed the brat currently in his grip as the son of the family grabbed the pearls around her neck. "Call me that again." Lola couldn't speak as she (and everyone currently watching this) felt the air grow cold around the area as everyone was terrified at this point as her brother spoke again. "Go on, Lola, do what you usually do and let your anger make you say what you shouldn't and call me. That. Again."

Lola was now scared for her life as she didn't want to tick off Lincoln any more than he already was right now. So, she then said. "We... thought... at first... you were a... jerk of a brother?"

"Nice save there." Lincoln said with an eyeroll. He was thankful that it wasn't those two words, so he was glad that his message sunk into the 6-year old's head. "This is your only warning, if you continue using those 2 awful words to address me as such and I'll shove these pearls you're wearing down your annoying throat!" He then squeezed the pearls as he spoke with finality. "Got it?!"

"Yes, Lincoln!" Lola said with a fear filled series of nods as tears appeared in her eyes.

"Good." Lincoln said as he released his grip on his young sister's throat and backed away before addressing the rest of the family. "That goes for the rest of you as well, so I suggest you watch what you say or else I'm going to break something you value."

Lola scooted as far as she could from him, now terrified of her big brother as he spoke again. "Now, that I gave you guys that warning. I'm going to ask one more time." He clenched his fists in anger as he repeated his question. "Why did you guys do it?!"

Luna then looked at Luan, Leni, Lucy and Lana as she asked. "Wait, you guys didn't tell him?"

"There wasn't enough time." Luan said to her roommate. "We were kinda fighting for our lives while we were in space."

"Tell me what exactly?" Lincoln asked as he was confused.

Rita let out a sigh. "You might want to sit down for this, sweetie."

Sitting on the couch, the boy listened as Lynn Sr. spoke up. "It all started an hour ago and well..." The man was trying to come up with a way of explaining this, but it was difficult. "Sorry, this rather hard to explain."

"Perhaps I can help." Bridgette said as she stepped forward and extended her arm out. "Grab my hand."

The father and son grabbed the mother's hands as her eyes glow a light blue.

Suddenly, a big flash of blue light appeared as everyone covered their eyes briefly before the light dimmed down.

Looking down the people of Royal Woods were shocked as they saw various different images appear in a large, holographic globe-like image.

"What is that?!" Rita said in shock.

"These are your husband's memories." Bridgette explained as she focused on the task at hand. "Now Lynn, I want to close your eyes and focus on what you want to tell your son."

Mr. Loud was nervous, but he needed Lincoln to know about this. So, he closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths as he began to focus his mind.

Everyone outside was witnessing this and they were shocked.

Only one image was shown.

It showed the Louds, Phineas, Ferb, their friends and Lincoln's clone standing in front of a strange creature.

"What is that?" Lincoln asked pointing at the yellow, triangle-shaped, creature.

"That is Bill Cipher." Phineas spoke up as he walked up to the three. "We encountered him in our dreams."

Hearing that name caused Eclipsa to speak up. "Bill... Cipher?" She then began to think on that name. "Why does that name sound so familiar?"

Hekapoo looked at the image intently before her eyes widened in shock. "No..." She dropped her dimensional scissors in shock.

The boy then looked closer and saw his clone in the image clear as day.

"Is that..." Lincoln said as his voice was filled with hurt and confusion.

"Yes, that is... a clone of you, elder brother unit." Lisa said with a ton of regret in her voice. "If you would allow me to explain-"

"A clone?!" Aseefa said in shock.

"How dare you do something like this?!" Nesmith said in shock.

"You actually cloned him!" Peridot asked in shock.

"Are you insane?!" Milo asked outraged that the toddler actually created a clone of her own brother.

Clenching his fists tightly, the boy asked his genius sister through his gritted teeth as he was nearly close to blowing his top. "Where is my clone... you little... maniac?"

"Up here." said a scared voice, getting everyone's attention.

At the top of the stairs, stood the clone of Lincoln Loud, who was looking away shyly.

Upon seeing him, Lincoln's pupils shrank to the size of tic-tacks. His face turned red almost instantly with rage as he began to breath heavily as he looked down at his clenched fists as his body began to shake uncontrollably.

Suddenly, everything and everyone around the boy became a dark void of silence. Lincoln couldn't hear what the others expressing their outrage at this new development. Neither could he hear the shock and surprise of the people outside witnessing this. All he could see was the traitors that he was biologically related, himself and the clone that the little genius had created.

After what seemed like minutes, tears were in Lincoln's eyes, the boy said. "Why? Why did you do this? Am I... not good enough."

"No!" Rita quickly said. "It's not like that!"

"Then why?" Albert said. "Why did this happen?"

"I was tricked into creating him." Lisa finally admitted. "Bill was terrorizing us in our dreams and in mine, he told me that with his help, I was going to create something amazing."

"He was terrorizing the rest of us in our dreams too, son." Lynn Sr. admitted sadly.

CLANG!

The family looked and saw Eclipsa dropping her parasol.

"No..." Eclipsa said as various memories from her past ran through her head. "Lisa, you didn't... make a deal with him, did you?"

Lisa looked away before admitting. "Yes, I did. But that wasn't the only thing that was revealed to us."

"What would that be?" Chris said, not liking this one bit.

"It was all for his own amusement." Lori began. "He saw us as guinea pigs, and he tormented us for weeks on end. He's been studying us for a long time, and he wanted us to be literally his puppets. It only got worse from there."

"Wait, if Bill terrorized you guys, why hasn't he targeted me?" Lincoln asked. "I never seen him in my own dreams before." He then turned to his other sisters behind him. "Did Bill target you guys too?"

"Now that you mention it, I do remember having a few dreams where they became nightmares." Luan said.

"Me too." Lana said. "But it was like one day a week that I just assumed they would go away after some time."

"Like me too." Leni said after thinking on it for a bit.

"Same with me." Lucy said. "Those nightmares were wicked."

"Of course you would think that." Lincoln said as he rolled his at Lucy's fascination with the darkness as he turned back to his family. "Anything else?"

"Yes, Bill told us that we might end up being instrumental in stopping his plans dude." Luna said.

"What plan is that?" Globgor asked.

"He didn't say." Isabella spoke up. "We're going to have to find out ourselves."

"Okay, so we're dealing with another threat. Noted." Lincoln said, clenching his fists.

"He was going to target you for fun." Luna said as tears began to appear in her eyes. "So now you know the reason what we did what we did, bro."

The area stood in silence over the course of a few minutes. The people outside the Loud House and the aliens of Zeenu were shocked by the revelation. The Exiles were silent as they processed everything that Lincoln's family had just told them. Part of what was revealed they wished were just fabricated lies but given the genuine regret appearing on the Loud family's faces, it was undeniably true.

As for Lincoln he just looked to the ground, soaking this information in. He just couldn't believe it.

Eventually, the young boy spoke in a nervous tone. "Am I not good enough?"

Everyone was surprised at that question. Lynn Sr. spoke. "What do you mean? Of course you are."

""You're our only brother." Lola said.

"We love you, Lincoln." Lucy said behind her brother.

Upon hearing that, Lincoln snapped a little. "Really? You love me! Your actions say otherwise!"

Everyone became a little spooked and backed away a little. Lincoln then took a breath before continuing. "Despite everything you guys told me. I have my own theory on all of this. You guys only say you love me to convince yourselves, but secretly, you guys hate me! Admit it!"

"W-What?!" Lori said as she was shocked. "What are you talking about?! We don't hate you, Lincoln!"

"Yeah right, of course you don't." Lincoln said bitterly. "I've seen it plenty of times but I'm not going to go into that as that would take too long. I think that given you guys' personal experience with me. I think you guys did this just for your own sick amusement."

"That's not true!" Luan said.

"We did all of this to protect you!" Lynn Sr. said as he was now getting scared.

"Protect me?! What a load of garbage!" Lincoln said as he clapped his hands in a slow manner. "You weren't doing this for my protection, you did this to save yourselves! I think you guys have more personal reasons for doing this to me!"

"What personal reasons?" Lynn Jr. said not liking this.

"You guys don't love me! You just love what I can provide for you!" Lincoln said as he began to tear up. "Face it, you guys can't help yourselves and you always rely on me to help you with whatever you guys need help with!"

"That's not true!" Lana said with tears in her eyes. "Lincoln, please listen to us! We're family!"

Lincoln turned to glared at the young mechanic with anger as he was starting to lose his temper, his white aura flaring up briefly. "Family?! FAMILY?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! YOU GUYS HAVEN'T BEEN ACTING LIKE ONE!"

Clyde, Ronnie Anne and Leggy quickly embraced Lincoln as it seemed like he was seconds away from attacking his younger sister.

"Dude, chill!" Ronnie Anne said, blushing a little from the embarrassment of hugging Lincoln.

"Calm down buddy!" Clyde said, tightening his hold on his best friend. "This isn't going to help!"

"Please calm down Lincoln." Leggy said tightening her arms to keep Lincoln from doing something he'll regret later. "Remember, Lana is one of the sisters that saved you when you were missing on Zeenu!"

Hearing his friends' words helped the white-haired boy calm himself, just a little as his aura disappeared. The three backed away but remained close to him just in case he was going to lose it again.

Albert then placed a hand on his grandson's shoulder. "Why don't you take a moment to calm yourself before you continue. You don't want to hurt yourself."

Taking the old man's advice, the young white-haired boy took a few deep breaths before he got his thoughts together and continued to speak. "So, let me see if I got everything down given what you told us. Some dream demon has been targeting our family for some bizarre reason. Aside from that, you guys still decided to throw me out of the house. Is there anything I'm missing?" Lincoln said sarcastically as he began to think before it came to him. "Oh wait, it didn't stop there, ladies and gentlemen. Oh no, because as per usual with this family they go the extra mile with Lisa, the supposed genius of this family, took some of my DNA without my permission that she made a CLONE of me!" He then glared at Lisa specifically, causing the genius to flinch a little. "Yes, you were tricked into doing it but still... How DARE you?!"

Lisa just looked away in shame as her brother continued. "What made this even worse is that you guys prevented Leni from calling the police!"

The rest of the family was shocked as Rita asked. "Wait, how did you know about that?"

"I had a dream about you guys, and it explained a lot." Lincoln said. "It showed me that Lisa made that clone and Lola stopped Leni from calling the police. Is that true?"

Lynn Sr. looked away before saying. "Yes, it's true."

"You prevented Leni from calling the police?!" Sara said in shock. "What's the matter with you?!"

The Louds couldn't say anything to try and defend themselves. How could they? The circumstances were absolutely unfathomable. The Louds knew that they were in for a rough road ahead of them in the long run.

Lincoln then spoke. "I just can't believe this! Not only was I kicked out of my own home thanks to my athletic sister's stupid superstitions but that's just the tip of the iceberg compared to everything that happened afterwards." He then breathed a sigh before saying. "I may understand that you guys wanted to protect me from Bill, but did it really, really, REALLY have to involve shooting me in SPACE! I could've died out there if it weren't for my friends behind me!" He then crossed his arms. "Some family you guys are! It really says something when total strangers, ones who I was told keep my distance from becomes more of a family to me than my actual family!"

"It hasn't been all that bad, right?" Lori asked. "I mean, it wasn't so bad right?"

"Wasn't so bad?" Lincoln said with an eye twitch. "You'd be right it wasn't too bad." He then breathed in and exhaled before continuing. "I made new friends in spite of the circumstances of us meeting up, learned a lot about some alien cultures, found love." He said as he held Leggy's hand, causing them to blush. He then looked towards his family once more. "But that doesn't erase all of the bad things that happened."

"You weren't probed and dissected, were you?" Zach asked.

"Thankfully no." Lincoln said, not even turning to face the alien fan as he continued to maintain contact with those who stabbed him in the back. "Thanks to these morons, I stuck in space for three weeks, forced to work with total strangers, was a slave to an emotionally hurt alien who I had to plan a revolt against, am now part of a conflict that I shouldn't be a part of, had fight for my life in a coliseum several times, nearly DIED during all of them, was caught in a spaceship crash, was stranded on and unknown planet while having lost my memories which I'm still trying to recover, was captured by that same emotionally hurting alien emperor who I had to stage a revolt against and witnessed that planet me and my friends were stranded on being DESTROYED!"

Everyone witnessing this confrontation gasped in shock. Lincoln went through all of that and still made it out alive.

"You went through all of that, dawg?" Rusty asked, unable to believe what his friend said.

"Yeah." Lincoln admitted as he pointed a finger. "Thanks to them."

"Okay stop it!" Lynn Jr. said as she marched up to her brother, tears in her eyes. "We get it, okay?! We messed up big time! It was wrong of us to kick you out but everything that happened after that was all you so blame yourself for that!"

"Lynn!" Rita said as she wanted to stop her daughter from making things worse.

"No, he needs to hear this!" The sports lover said to her mother as she continued. "You say this is all our fault but you're just at fault too in case you forgot! You were the one who lied about being bad luck instead of being honest with us! All we wanted was for you to support us in our events, but you decided not to! What did you think was going to happen?! You betrayed us too you know!"

Lincoln stood in silence with an angered look on his face. "I said not to CALL ME THAT!" The boy said as he without warning, got up and punched Lynn in the face as hard as he could, his fist glowing in a white-hot aura for a brief moment before disappearing, sending the smug girl stumbling backwards as she tripped over the table and smashed the back of her head into the TV which caused a slightly large crack to form on the screen, shocking everyone.

"Oh, that has to hurt." Ronnie Anne cringed.

"Yeah!" Jasper shouted being Lincoln, enjoying that brief stint of violence from the normally pacifist Loud boy. "Show that brat you mean business, Lincoln!"

"UGH!" Lynn said as she tried to regain her composure before she felt some blood running down her nose before glaring at her brother. "You ungrateful jerk! You broke my nose!"

"Oh, so I'm ungrateful, now!" Lincoln said as he crossed his arms. He couldn't believe it. After everything he just said, Lynn still couldn't understand. Granted, he should've expected this given that Sporty wasn't exactly the most emotionally understanding of the Louds. "Well, if I'm ungrateful, then you're a sore loser!" Noticing the flick of anger in his sister's eyes, he decided to continue. "Typical Lynn, wanting to take any chance to not accept that she can be anything less than #1 even if it's at the expense of someone else!"

Hearing her "ungrateful" brother scold her caused Lynn to fire back with. "Oh, well at least I have something to strive for! What about you, Stinkoln?! What do you want to strive for?! Nothing! Absolutely nothing at least not to my memory! So, what right do you have to get on my case for to me wanting to become the best athlete I can be when you have no goal of your own?!"

"Lynn, stop it!" Lana shouted. "Are you trying to make things worse?!"

"Shut up Lana!" Lynn said as she got up from the floor as she casted a glare towards her younger sister causing her to hide behind Lucy, afraid that Lynn might attack her.

Hearing Lynn talk to the young mechanic like that caused Lincoln's big brother instincts to briefly surface. "Hey, don't talk to Lana like that! At least she went out of her way to help me! Same with Leni, Luan and Lucy!" Lana and the other sisters Lincoln mentioned couldn't help but smile. "You are right though Lynn, I did lie but I think I more than paid for that, don't you agree?" Lincoln said as he was starting to reach his boiling point. "Now it's your guys' turn to pay!"

"Now hold on Lincoln!" Bobby said, placing a hand on the little boy's shoulder. "I understand that you're angry but-"

"Bobby, I'm going to kindly stop you right there." Lincoln said, refusing to even look at the older teen. "I intend on doing this. Please don't interfere or I might end up hurting you too in the process."

Suddenly, the white aura manifested around Lincoln, causing a small shockwave to push everyone that was close to him back as the furniture was blown in numerous directions in the process off the young boy finally letting out his rage.

"What are you going to do?" Clyde nervously asked, now afraid at what was happening to his best friend.

"Simple, Clyde." Lincoln said, his aura flaring up bit by bit as he addressed his family. "You guys want to play God. Now it's my turn to assume the role. Now I know our family isn't very religious, but I believe a prayer is in order."

Putting his hands together, Lincoln then spoke. "Lord, I know us Louds aren't a religious family since we've haven't been to church all that much, but I ask for your forgiveness in what I'm about to do to these idiots. I ask for your assistance in teaching these guys that they should remember their place, that they are not above everyone, nor lower than everyone either. They are middle-class at best, and I hope that in the future, they remember this, amen."

"Amen. This is going to be good." Dan said his hands held together prayer style as while he wasn't much of a religious person himself, felt like he was going to enjoy what was about to happen next.

Lincoln then manifested 2 giant arms and hands of a skeleton and grabbed a hold of his parents, Lori, Luna, Lynn Jr., Lola and Lisa all in one hand before bringing his other hand to close them together while his aura was burning brighter.

"Woah! Lincoln!" Clyde called out to his bestie.

"What are you doing?!" Ronnie Anne said.

"Calm down dawg!" Rusty said as he, Liam and Zach rushed into the house.

"Lincoln, STOP!" Leni, Luan, and Lana shouted at him.

"Please stop brother." Lucy said as she didn't know what to do.

"Woah, chill little guy!" Bismuth said as she, Amethyst and Peridot tried to rush over to Lincoln only for Jasper, Emerald and Holly Blue Agate to block their path.

"Not so fast you traitors!" Holly Blue said, pulling her electric whip out.

"This is Lincoln's choice." Emerald said, manifesting her rifle from her gem.

"Don't even try it!" Jasper said, refusing to let them pass as she summoned her helmet. "This is between him and those that betrayed him, you won't interfere."

Suddenly, a bunch of police officers made their way into the house and had their tasers, and nightsticks out and pointed them straight at Lincoln. They didn't want to pull their guns out since they felt that would only escalate the situation. Also, they didn't want to shoot a child (granted this was a child with strange abilities) but a child still.

"Son, I understand your pain right now but this not the way to use it!" a female officer said, scared that she might have to use her taser.

"Please let them and let us take them into custody." A male officer said sternly yet softly.

Milo, Leggy, Clyde, Ronnie Anne, Lana, Leni, Luan, Lucy, Liam, Zach, Rusty, Phineas, Ferb and their friends quickly got in between Lincoln and the cops.

"Woah, easy officers." Phineas said.

"No need to resort to weapons use." Clyde said.

Lincoln hearing all of this, maintains eye contact with his captive family as he then speaks up. "Well, it's about time you guys and gals and blue decide to do something. Royal Woods' finest everyone."

"Lincoln, please stop." Luan pleaded tears streaming down her face at what she was seeing.

"Luan's right." Milo said. "This isn't what you do."

"Maybe but its who I am now." Lincoln said as he began to squeeze his family. "You guys brought this on yourselves."

The family began to groan in pain, thankfully Lincoln was slowly applying the pressure so thankfully they were being squished like grapes instantly right now.

"Lincoln, please!" Rita begged. "You don't have to do this!"

"Maybe not but I want to do this." Lincoln said with a glare towards his mother. "After, if you and Dad allow the girls to do whatever they want most of the time, I think I'm allowed the same privilege don't you think?"

Both his parents looked away as the harsh truth set in. Lincoln did have a good point. The girls did get away with some things from time to time. They're going have a talk with each other should they get out of this.

Lincoln was ready to give these bunch of backstabbers, these cowards, these monsters, what they deserve.

Why wasn't he doing it?

Lincoln was so focused on his conflicting feelings, he felt someone placed their fingers on the side of his neck before pinching a nerve causing the boy to collapse to the floor on his face as the aura disappeared off him and the Louds were freed from the kid's wrathful grasp.

"Lincoln!" Leggy said in worry as she knelt down to her love's side.

The paralyzed boy looked up and saw Ferb with his fingers out.

"Ferb?" Lincoln asked, confused as to why the silent Flynn-Fletcher brother did that.

Kneeling down to him, Ferb just stared at him with a nervous yet hopeful look.

"Why are you stopping me?" Lincoln said.

"You shouldn't allow your pain to consume you, Lincoln." Ferb said simply, hopeful that might try and get through to the boy on the floor.

"Ferb's right Lincoln." Milo said. "You looked like you were about to kill your own family. You can't use your powers like that cause that will just make things worse."

"What do you mean?" Lincoln asked.

"I... accidently killed someone while we were fighting in the coliseum on the ship, unintentionally, don't you remember." The jinx of Danville admitted causing some people to gasp in shock. "If you use your powers that way, you might end up killing someone innocent."

"Your friend is right, grandson." Albert said, kneeling down to his grandson's side. "I understand that you're hurting. We all do. But you shouldn't become like the people you hurt. That's not who you are Lincoln. I know that despite all of your anger towards your family right now, I know for a fact that you still love them."

Clyde and Leggy grabbed Lincoln by the shoulders and lifted him up before placing him on the couch as Bismuth then pushed her way past Jasper before she knelt down to the kid's side and placing a hand on his shoulder.

"They're right kid." The blacksmith gem said. "I understand what you're going through. I've been there. The desperation to protect yourself, the fear of being hurt again, the wanting to protect those close to you. I've been through all of that. But here's something I don't think you've considered."

"What's that?" Lincoln asked as everyone was curious as to where the large gem was going with this.

"The consequences." Bismuth explained before she began to explain her backstory. "A long time ago, I was in a war against my own kind. Many of my friends, perished. All I wanted was to protect my friends that I created a dangerous to end it and even attacked my own friend over it. It was only then that I saw the consequences of ending the war the way I wanted to that I realized how wrong I was going about it and that there were other options then needless violence and hatred."

Lincoln looked away as he began to think over everything he had been told. He wanted his family to pay for what they done but at the same time, he still loves them in spite of it all. He knew that everyone speaking to him was right. He hadn't considered the consequences of what he might've done had Ferb not paralyzed him when he did.

Lincoln then let out a sigh before saying. "I get what you all are saying, I really do. I know you're right. Despite everything, I still love my family." The boy then casted a glare to his family who flinched. "But I also know that if I don't do something, no one else is going to."

"What are you talking about?" Dan asked.

"For as long as I can remember, my sisters usually get away with their shenanigans." Lincoln explained, looking at mom and dad. "Sure, sometimes mom and dad ground them whenever they go too far but once their punishment is over, they'll forget what they've done a few days later. I'm not immune to this either but Mom and Dad have done this so many times, I'm noticing it more and more." He then gestured to the cops. "I have this feeling that the cops here are just going to ignore this problem too. I mean where were they in the last 3 weeks while we were in space? I mean, I guess they were busy with other crimes but still."

"That not true." Lynn Sr. said.

"Well, that's how I feel about it." Lincoln said as he crossed his arms. "I mean, think about it. Whenever this family (specifically my sisters) does something bad outside the house, I'm either abandoned by my friends when they should be standing by me, or it falls on me to take responsibility for whenever my sisters mess up and are too arrogant to clean up their own messes before it becomes an even bigger problem."

Lincoln then looked at his sisters still at the entrance of the house and the family by the couch. He then looked towards his friends as everyone was wondering what he was going to do next. He then looked towards his clone, who nervously looked back at him. He did this for a few more seconds before Lincoln then closed his eyes and let out a sigh of exhaustion.

"Alright, here's what I'm going to do." He then stood up on his feet, the paralysis of Ferb's nerve pinch from earlier having worn off. "Since I'm being nice, and since you guys feel somewhat remorseful about all of this, here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to give you guys 3 weeks to make things up to me."

"We literally understand." Lori said nodding with the others in the family doing the same while agreeing with the terms Lincoln set.

"Thank you, Lincoln." Rita said with a smile.

"Not so fast. Let me make a few things clear." Lincoln said, glaring a little. "I'm not accepting any apologies from any of you, so if you want to prove to me that you're sorry, prove it with your action cause after all Lori had said that actions speak louder than words." Lori turned away, remembering when she said that as her brother continued. "If you're not trying to redeem yourselves, STAY AWAY FROM ME!" He shouted, causing everyone in the room to flinch. "One last thing, if you guys try to threaten me or any of my friends, this will be the result."

He walked from the couch to the kitchen entrance before turning around and saying. "Everyone, please back away!"

Everyone quickly ran back as the boy's aura flared up before he then manifested a giant skeletal avatar, with a massive sword and a giant hammer appearing in each hand much to everyone's shock. The celling above them began to crack and the house began to shake, nearly knocking everyone off their feet.

"Woah!" Albert said as he was scared of seeing his grandson like this.

"My goodness!" Clyde said in shock that his best friend was capable of something like this.

"What is that?!" Bobby asked as he held on to Lori.

"Those must the superpowers we heard about." Ronnie Anne asked as she backed away.

The people outside were scared, wondering if Lincoln would turn his rage on them should they piss him off even more. From the kitchen, the pets Charles the dog, Walt the canary, Cliff the cat and Geo the hamster was seeing all of this and were huddling together in fear in the corner.

The Crystal Gems readied themselves just in case things went south as a few of the Exiles did the same.

Katherine Mulligan had her cameraman record the entire confrontation as she was reporting on it.

"This is Katherine Mulligan reporting for Royal Woods News as I'm just as scared as the rest of you watching this broadcast folks." The news reporter said as maintained her distance. "The Louds have admitted their crime but with some new information and now it seems like things are getting even more intense. Please continue watching to see how this plays out." She then turned towards the massive avatar and gulped a little.

"Do you understand now?!" Lincoln said with finality.

As Lincoln showcased his new power, what he failed to realize was that his vision was starting to go blurry as his nose was starting to bleed.

"We do! We do!" Lynn Sr. said with his hands up, with most of the family doing the same.

"Good." Lincoln said with a smile. Glad that his family is finally getting it.

"Linky! Your nose is bleeding!" Leni said urgently.

"Huh?" Lincoln was confused as he wiped his nose, noticing the blood. "AH!"

Suddenly, Lincoln clutched his chest as he collapsed to a knee, the giant avatar fading away. The house beginning to settle until it stopped shaking.

"LINCOLN!" Luan said as she, her sisters and a few others rushed to his side instantly.

The rest of the family wanted to do the same, but they were still freaked by seeing Lincoln's avatar thing.

Milo and Sara lifted the boy up gently as Eclipsa asked. "Are you okay dear?"

"I'm okay. The pain in my chest went away." Lincoln said as he rubbed his eyes to clear away the blurriness. "I just want to go to my room." He then glared at his family one last time before saying. "I want you guys to remember this. I'm willing to forgive you guys for all of this. So, if you guys mess this up like you usually do, I will make this into a court case. Watch yourselves because this your last chance for us to be a family again." He then gestured to Milo and Sara. "Okay, I think I can walk again."

Placing his feet on the floor, the boy then wiggled his toes in one foot before wiggling his toes in his other foot. He then marched up the stairs and entered the hallway.

The door to his room was boarded and chained up, making the boy's eye twitch again.

Before he could say anything, Lana was running up the stairs. "Hold on Lincoln, I got this."

Rushing to her room, the young mechanic grabbed her toolbox before she rushed to the door and began to remove the chains and boards from it. It took almost 2 minutes until she was finished.

"There you go." Lana said with a smile. "It's good to have you back bro."

Lincoln smiled as he walked to his door before looking at Lana. "It's good to be back. Thank you, Lana." He said before glaring at her and grabbing by her overall straps before grabbing a hammer out of her toolbox and holding it up to her face in a threatening manner. "But if you ever do this to me again. I swear to our almighty God. I will knock out the rest of your teeth with one of your hammers!" He then pressed the tool to her cheek as he then said. "Got it?!"

"Yes Lincoln, I'll never do this to you again, I promise!" Lana said fearfully as she nodded her head frantically as tears began to well up in her eyes.

Sighing, the boy let her go. "Good."

Lana then ran down the stars as fast as she could as Lincoln then looked towards Lisa's room before poking his head into it.

Noticing Lily was starting to wake up, Lincoln felt tears of joy in his eyes as he walked over to the baby and picked her up. "Hey Lily, your big brother is back."

Lily then blinked a few times before she smiled. "Inky."

Hearing that, caused the tears to start streaming down the boy's face as he embraced his baby sister. "I missed you so much Lily."

"Ily issed ou oo!" Lily babbled in her baby talk.

Lincoln sunk to his knees as he began to cry as he embraced Lily, letting out all of his emotions. Lily just patted his back, just happy to see her actual big brother again.

Back downstairs, everyone could hear Lincoln crying his eyes out as they felt sad for him before a majority of them of them began to leave the premises, knowing that the drama was now over for now at least.

As for those who chose to stay were Bobby, Ronnie Anne, Clyde, Zach, Liam Rusty, and their respective parents as well as the people of Zeenu, the escaped prisoners of emperor Zing, the calvary that went to Zeenu, and the Exiles.

"Poor kid." Bismuth said, her non-existent heart feeling for the boy.

"That's being mild." Amethyst said in agreement.

The crowd looked towards the Louds, who audibly gulped as they realized that they were in for the scolding of the century... and given the looks they were getting, it was not going to be pleasant in the least... and they knew it in their hearts.

Despite that, all the family could think right now was:

"I need to make this up to Lincoln! I will make this up to Lincoln, but HOW?!"

The Loud family made their beds and in the next few weeks they were going to spend their time carefully lying in it.

So that's the chapter ladies and gentlemen. Lincoln is now back home but the sins of the family come back in full force. Now the town of Royal Woods and Lincoln know the full story of their betrayal of their other male family member and now it's times for the consequences to be displayed.

Will the Louds be able to redeem themselves to Lincoln in the next 3 weeks or will the family be forever broken? As for the others that did the same to Milo, Eclipsa, Jasper and the others, will they seek and work towards their own redemptions or will their bonds be forever shattered to bits.

As for Zing and his faction, the war is not over as the final confrontation between Zing's crew and the Exiles is getting closer to its conclusion, will the Exiles be prepared face him or will they fall?

Find out next time when the story of "The Exiles" continues!
