Two years ago.(Back when Naruto lived there)

The air in the forest was thick with fog as Naruto stumbled deeper into its heart, the eerie silence around him broken only by the crackling of twigs under his feet. He'd wandered too far.

Then he heard it, a low, guttural growl, that vibrated through the trees. Naruto froze, his blood running cold as several pairs of gleaming eyes appeared in the darkness ahead. Massive, hulking shapes lumbered forward, their bodies covered in scales and fur, eyes glinting with predatory hunger. Each one looked like a creature born from nightmares, a twisted fusion of animal and something darker.

Naruto's legs felt weak, his instincts screaming at him to run, but his body refused to obey. He could only stand there, frozen, his breath coming out in shallow gasps. His knees buckled, and he dropped to the forest floor. He was shaking, a helpless, tiny figure in the face of these terrifying beasts.

"Move, dammit...!" Naruto's voice was barely a whisper as he tried to will his body into action, but the terror had paralyzed him. Panic gripped his heart like a vice, squeezing out every ounce of courage he thought he had.

Inside his mind, a voice echoed, low and steady, yet carrying a strange calmness. "Relax. Breathe, Naruto."

Naruto grit his teeth, his voice frantic as he shot back in his mind, "How the hell am I supposed to stay calm? Do you see what's right in front of me?!"

There was no answer, but suddenly the forest melted away, the monstrous creatures dissolving into shadows. Naruto blinked, and in the next instant, he found himself standing in a vast, otherworldly space, unlike anything he'd ever seen before. The world around him had an ethereal glow, a blend of dark and light colors swirling like a cosmic ocean.

In the distance, three figures stood, waiting for him.

The first was a massive, nine-tailed fox with fur as red as fire and eyes that gleamed with a sharp intelligence, and a fierce, barely-contained ferocity. Naruto's eyes widened, realizing that it was the reason why everyone hated him. The fox's aura radiated a wild power that seemed almost tangible.

The second was a tall, shadowed figure, draped in dark armor. His presence was cold and resolute, a constant thrum of energy that hummed through the air. This figure Kaminari Yoroi.

And then, there was the third figure. Unlike the other two, he wore a smirk, his expression a blend of amusement and a sinister thrill that sent a shiver through Naruto's spine. He looked a lot like Naruto himself, almost as if he were a twisted reflection. Yet, he exuded a presence that was different from Kurama's ferocity or Kaminari Yoroi's calm authority. His energy was chaotic, raw, and somehow both comforting and terrifying. Naruto felt a strange familiarity as he gazed at this third being, as though he'd known him forever.

The smirking figure's eyes glinted with a dark, playful edge as he looked Naruto up and down. "Look at you, scared out of your mind. Pathetic," he drawled with a sardonic smile.

Naruto took a shaky breath, feeling both relief and uncertainty. He looked between the three figures, feeling an odd sense of grounding despite the fear still churning in his stomach. "W-Who... are you?" he managed to stammer.

The smirking figure chuckled, crossing his arms. "I'm Chika. But let's skip the introductions. I know you, you know me. just not in the way you're used to. So sit back, kid," Chika grinned, his eyes flashing dangerously. "I'll handle the monsters."

Without waiting for Naruto's reply, Chika stepped forward and reached out, his hand settling on Naruto's shoulder with a sense of command. The world spun, the inner space vanishing as Naruto felt himself slipping into a dazed sort of calm, as if Chika's presence had eased the fear gripping his heart.

--

Naruto's consciousness slipped away as something inside him snapped. His posture changed instantly, his slouched shoulders rolling back, his trembling replaced with a deadly calm. A cruel, predatory grin spread across his face, his eyes gleaming with something inhuman.

Chika had taken over.

"Alright, ugly," Chika growled through Naruto's lips, his voice carrying a sharp edge of malice. "Let's play." he murmured, flexing Naruto's fingers as he drew on the energy within him. His hand crackled with a surge of Reiryoku, the unfamiliar power weaving through Naruto's body and enhancing his senses, flooding him with strength.

One of the creatures lunged at him, it's claws swiping for his throat. Chika didn't flinch. He sidestepped the attack with a speed that blurred the air, his foot swinging up and slamming into the beast's jaw with enough force to crack bone. The creature's head snapped back violently, a wet crunch echoing as it crumpled into the dirt, twitching but lifeless.

Before the others could react, Chika surged forward, closing the distance between himself and the nearest monster in a heartbeat. His fist crashed into its ribs with a sickening thud, the sheer force shattering its ribcage. It howled in agony, but Chika wasn't done. He grabbed its face, slammed it into the ground with brutal finality, and stomped on its skull, reducing it to a pulp.

The remaining beasts hesitated, their primal instincts screaming that this was no prey, it was a predator.

Chika tilted Naruto's head, a smirk tugging at his lips. "What's the matter? Lost your nerve already?" He spread his arms wide, taunting them. "Come on! Give me something to kill!"

The creatures roared in unison and charged. Chika met them head-on, a whirlwind of violence and ferocity. He ducked beneath a claw swipe, his body twisting as he drove his elbow into another beast's snout with enough force to shatter it. As it staggered back, he leaped, his knee connecting with its throat. Blood sprayed as it collapsed, choking on its own fluids.

Another monster tried to flank him, but Chika turned, catching its strike mid-swing. His grip tightened with a sickening crunch, and he tore the limb clean off, blood splattering across the ground. With a savage grin, he rammed the severed claw through the creature's chest, pinning it to a tree.

The final beast tried to flee, but Chika wasn't about to let it go. He vanished in a blur of speed, reappearing in its path. "Oh, no. You're not getting out of this." His leg shot out in a brutal roundhouse kick, shattering its legs and sending it sprawling to the ground. Chika knelt beside it, his hand glowing with raw, crackling energy. "Don't worry," he whispered mockingly. "This'll only hurt a lot."

The energy erupted from his palm, carving through the creature's body and leaving nothing but charred remains in its wake.

Silence fell over the forest, broken only by the sound of Chika's satisfied exhale. He stood amidst the carnage, blood dripping from Naruto's hands and splattered across his face. His grin widened as he surveyed the destruction. "Now that was fun."

--

Naruto's consciousness slowly returned, and the grin faded.

In his mind, Chika's dark laughter echoed. "Get used to it, kid. This is just the beginning." with that Chika's essence faded into Naruto.

Naruto stared at his bloodied hands, his breathing ragged as the weight of what had just happened sank in. Feeling both exhilarated and a little unsettled by the memory of that sadistic smile, the one that felt both like his own and yet, entirely different.
