Walking around the yard, I came to a stop once I saw a shadow jump over me. Looking up, I could see that Ilia was leaving the compound. Letting out a sigh, I looked in the direction she had jumped from and saw Blake stepping outside. She leaned against the railing on the balcony, looked down at me and smiled. I smiled back, then gave her a wave before going back on my patril around the house.

Later

Walking up to Kali, she and her guard turned to me. "There are a lot of people surrounding the building." I informed as I started walking them out of the room. "We're about to become under attack, we need to get you to safety!" I said, where the room was suddenly put under fire. Grabbing them, I moved us over to a table and kicked it on its side, where we took cover.

"Get down!" The guard said as I stood up and slashed the the incominng bullets, where the bullets turned into sparks. The guard gets up to fire back at two White Fang soldiers as they entered the room. He manages to shoot one of them down, but he gets shot down by the other. With the guard incapacitated, Kali takes his pistol and starts firing back.

"Get out of my house!!" Kali ordered them as I became her shield, making sure she was safe from the bullets that were fired at her. "Ghira!!" Kali called out as we were backed into the wall as more White Fang members entered the room, now firing fully automatic weapons.

'Staying here will get us killed!' I thought as I didn't want to cut them down as there was a chance that they were still good. Looking behind me, I saw that Kali ran out of ammunition. Looking back towards the enemy, I then got an idea. Putting my saber aside, I started stopping their shots with the force.

"What are you doing!?" Kali questioned me as she geabbed my back.

"Take my saber and cut a hole in the wall!" I ordered as I kept my eyes on the White Fang. "I can stop them for now, but not with me watching over you." I said as I looked back at her. "My gole is to protect you, and right now, to do that you NEED to leave! I can take care of them without my saber, so take it and run!" I ordered, with her grabbing it off my hip and turning it on.

She cut a hole big enough for her to get through, jumped through and turned to look back at me. "Come on!" She said, with me pulled my hand towards her, where the table now blocked the hole. Pushing the bullets back, I rushed towards the closest one and laid into his chest multiple times before tossing him into another.

Rushing around the rain of fire, I jumped from wall to ceiling to get around their attacks. Jumping down on one, I pinned his head to the ground and then tossed him outside towards the forest area. Getting an idea on how to deal with them, I held my hand out to all of them and pulled them with me as I charged after the forest area. Once all of us were here, I let them go and took cover in the trees.

"This is your only warning. Put down your weapons!" I said from the trees, where I was shot at and jumped away. 'They can see me? Its pitch black up here.' I thought as I landed on another tree and hid. 'Thats right, they have night vision, at least most Faunus do.' I thought as I recalled that little detail.

Hearing someone land next to me, I looked at them and was about to force push them away, but saw that it was Blake and Sun. "What are you doing out here?" Blake asked as she and Sun looked down below. "They have you outnumbered." She said as she reached forbher weapon, but I stopped her.

"Right now you two need to get to the house, it is under attack!" I said as I looked down below and saw more entering the woods, meaning they called for help. "I got them." I said, where I was about to jump away but Sun stopped me as he grabbed my arm.

"You are at a major disadvantage here, you don't even have your weapon!" He said, with Blake holding her saber out to me, with me pushingnit back to her.

"I don't need it, and right now your mother has mine. Get to her, she should be on her way to find your father!" I said as I placed a hand on their shoulders. "Trust in me, trust in the force." I said as I backflipped off the tree and landed in the bushes below.

Once I entered rhe bush, one of them turned to me and I pulled him in, getting a small scream from him until I punched him in the throat. Hitting him in the back of the neck, I saw another was running this way, with me using the force to pull him over here by his leg. Once he reached me, I punched him in the face hard enough to shatter his mask before moving on.

Jumping through the trees, I spotted two more, with me lifting one of them up and slamming him into the tree multiple times before tossing them into the distance. The female who was with him turned and aimed her weapon at where he was, with me pulling her by her foot and dragging her against the ground before tossing her in the same direction as her friend.

Seeing another making their way over here, I started jumping through the threes again until I came across one by the pond. Lifting them up, I slammed them into the water, where they struggled against it for a bit before they went stiff. Pulling them out, I sent them at a tree, where they smacked into it, couching up water and gasping for air, where they were then dragged away.

Moving through the trees again, I grabbed ones weapon and crushed it, smacked them against a tree multiple times and them tossed them through the air like a boomerang. Seeing someone walking under me, I pulled the ground apart below them, making them drop a good distance. One by one I took them out without being spotted. It was a slaughter, they stood no chance against me out here.

Once I had finished with them, I made my way towards the house. Once outside of the Belladonna's home, a large crowd of Faunus gathered outside, noticing the smoke coming from the building. "Back! Everyone, stay back! We've got people inside doing their best." A guard yelled as I ran up to him.

"Situation?" I asked, with him looking at me.

"No one has stepped out yet." He informes, with me getting ready to run in.

"Look!" A faunus called out, with us looking at the smoky doorway, where Ghira walks out carrying the motionless bodies of a White Fang soldier and a Menagerie Guard on each of his shoulders. We rushed forward, where he hands the bodies to two guards.

"Get in there! Search for any stragglers!" A guard ordered, with others going in, and some coming out, keeping Corsac restrained, followed by Blake, Kali, Sun, Ilia and others. "We came as soon as we got the call." He said as he the takes notices of Corsac being forced to his knees.

"And Fennec?" I asked as they were brothers. Ghira sadly shakes his head. It was a sad day for Corsac. They didn't need to die, to lose his brother. I walked over to Corsac and knelt down to his level. "Was it worth it?" I asked solemnly, not happy for the loss of so many. Corsac looks down, defeated. Knowing he wasn't going to answer, I grabbed his head and pulled him into a hug, knowing that this action shocked everyone. "I am sorry for your loss, no one should of died today." I told him as I let him go and looked up at Blake.

As the commotion continues, Blake shares brief looks with Sun and Ilia. Blake takes a deep sigh as she goes down the steps. Ghira noticeed his daughter walking away. "Blake!" Ghira called out, reaching out to her, but I stopped him, with Kali's help, and they both look on. Blake then stops at one of the steps looking at each of them.

"Humans didn't do this." Blake said as she points at the smoke coming from her home. "We did this: Faunus. We did this to ourselves." She said as I crossed my arms and looked at the guards.

"There are more in the woods, they should still be out, go get then." I said, with them nodding and running off to do that.

"We are just as capable of hate and violence as the humans, but I don't think any of us would jump at the chance to point that out. So why are we letting Adam do it for us?!" Blake yelled as she looked over her people. "By doing nothing and staying silent, we let others speak and act in our place. And if we're not proud of the choices they make, then we have no one to blame but ourselves." She said as others looked down in shame while others listened to every word she said, even hanging onto it. "This is the message that Adam Taurus will bring to the world if no one stops him. But we can stop him! You have to understand that all of you are looking for simple answers to a very complicated problem. And I can't give that to you. I don't know how to make hate go away, I don't. But I know that this kind of violence is not the solution." She said, shaking her head. "I understand that to ask you to leave your homes and protect Haven Academy is asking you to put your lives at risk. But that's what's at stake. So I'm going, and I'll stand by myself if I have to." She said, with Ilia getting up slowly. I helped her up and we walked up to her.

"We stand with you!" We said, where Blake turns around with a surprised look on her face as Ilia is now standing next to her. Her pained expression then looks down.

"If... if you'd have me." She said, unable to make eye contact with her old friend.

"Isn't that the White Fang girl?"

"And the human as well?"

Despite some of the crowd's murmuring amongst themselves, Blake smiles at us. As Ilia proceeds forward, a guard suddenly stops her. "You're not going anywhere!" He said, with me stepping in front of her as to prevent him from taking her away.

"Let her come." Blake said, with the guard looking at Blake in shock.

"Huh? You're just going to forgive her? After everything she did?!" He questioned, not believing what he just heard.

"I am." She said, with the guard looking to Ghira, who nods and I step out of her way. Ilia continues to walk down the steps to stand next to her friend.

"What does she think she's doing?" He questioned, unable to process what is going on.

"She's learned a lesson that evaded me until I was much older: That there is strength in forgiveness." Ghira said, with me smiling at his words as he approached with Kali.

"A powerful lesson indeed." I said as Kali handed me my weapon, smiling as she hugged me. Blake puts a hand on Ilia's shoulder, sharing a smile together.

"I'll go!!" Mata the ram Faunus said, where he steps forward and raises his hand, followed by many more.

"I'll go too!"

"I'll stand with you!"

"I'll go!!"

"Yeah!! Me too!"

"Let's go!"

"Yeah, let's go!!"

As more Faunus start to give Blake their support, Sun walks down the steps to join us. The crowd is heard cheering as a majority agree to volunteer. We all smiled at the crowd as we won them over.

"Looks like we've got work to do." Sun said as he crossed his arms.

"We sure do." I said as I gave him a fist bump before turning to Blake.

"Thank you." She said, with us looking ar Sun as he pointed to Ilia.

"You stabbed me." He said, where Ilia looks down sorrowfully.

"I-"

Sun playfully pinched her arm with a grin.

"Ow!"

"There. Let's just call it even." He said, where I rolled my eyes at him.

"You were even the moment I took the blow from you." I said as I hit his shoulder playfully. Ghira and Kali joined us, looking at each and every one of us.

"We have about two weeks before Adam's attack on Haven." Ghira said as he crossed his arms. "We're going to need shields, training, whatever we can do to protect as many people as possible." He said, with me nodding as I could help with that.

"We'll need transportation too. For everyone." Kali informed, with Blake smiling at her words.

"I think I know a ship captain who owes us a favor." She said, with me wondering who this Captain was.
