Beacon Duo Surviving the First Round
"Alright, let's do this!" Kakarot smirked.
"Better show off the fruit of my labor!" Krillin determined as he held tightly on to his turtle shield.
Team CBNG got themselves ready though Giran looks a little too excited for the fight, especially when he looks at Krillin with a tiny bit of drool coming out of his mouth. This scares Krillin a bit.
"Time to begin the match!" Port declared.
"Good luck, my sweet little monkey!" Kali called out.
"Give them Hell!" Blake cheered.
"Remember to fight with honor and show good sportsmanship!" Ghira smiled.
"They're totally gonna kick butt!" Yang shouted the loudest she could in the spirit of cheering for her monkey boyfriend.
"3… 2… 1…" Oobleck performed the countdown as the fighters are getting their bodies a little tense up for the match that will start very soon.

Kakarot couldn't help but get really excited for this fight against opponents he hasn't fought before and curious to see just how strong they are, maybe they could even push him to the limit and force to him push through that limit and some more.
He also thought about what his blood parents and older brother would say if they could see him fighting in this tournament, bet they would be proud of him fighting against some strong warriors.
The stage started to changes with one side on Team KK became a wasteland desert with some rocky formations while the other side on Team CBNG being a forest with some trees and a river.
"(Time to get my fighting spirit on!)" Kakarot thought grinned.
"GOOOOOOOOO!" Oobleck shouted as the fight has officially begun.
Kakarot immediately sprints for the opposing team to go after the strongest one among them which he believes to be Chappa, he throws a punch which was met by Chappa's own strong punch that causes a strong shockwave.
Kakarot smirks as he throws up the opponent's fist into the air and goes in for another punch to the face, but Chappa smirks as he was able to throw a swing kick on the side that send him flying though he counters with an Aura blast at Bruce who deflect it with his right arm.
"(Hmm, he says he attacks with his Aura. Now I want to see more.)" Bruce thought intrigued of this young monkey boy.
"Looks like he challenges both of us." Bruce said.
"Indeed." Chappa nodded with a grin, going to accept that challenge but not before he turns to his other teammates.
"Nam, Giran, you two deal with the bald guy and join us if you can." Chappa ordered before he and Bruce ran for Kakarot.
"Oh, why do they get to have the funnier one?" Giran complained.
"Look out!" Nam gasped as he pushes his partner out of the way for three missiles to explode on the spot where they stood.
"Damn, thought I'd get you while you were distracted." Krillin cursed.
"Must I keep telling you to be careful?" Nam asked as he shook his head.
"Well, now I'm being focus on that stupid bald guy!" Giran roared and charges at Krillin.
Krillin gasps a little but stood his ground and block the attack with his shield from Giran's punch though it still punches him back several feet, he didn't stop as he charges in with a few more punches pushing him back again and again.
"(This guy is really strong, almost like Yang during combat classes and sparring sessions.)" Krillin thought compared this guy to be almost as strong as Yang.
"I hope you can forgive me for this." Nam appeared behind Krillin.
Krillin is shocked to find another of his opponents behind him and quick turns around halfway to knock a punch away with a kick.
"That was close!" Krillin said.
Nam goes in for a couple of punches that Krillin was able to block while Giran comes in with one heavy strike, but Krillin was able to parry it to flew past him and jumps to dodge a low kick for his feet and kick Nam in the face to push him back followed by a quick spin on his shell to throw that same kick across Giran's face.
Krillin lifts up his shell getting him in midair for a little attack on the big guy's stomach.
"Gotcha!" Giran thrusted one arm to grab hold of Krillin by the face and throws him away toward the desert side.
"Allow me to add a little more pain." Nam ran after Krillin.
Nam crossed his arms together in an X-position in front of him and they glow white and orange together, then leaps right at Krillin faster like a human bullet.
"Ah, it would seem Nam is using his Semblance to push Krillin further back. I believe it's called Cross Arm Missile that allows him to launch himself forward with his arms cross and flies in a straight line like a bullet but many times stronger." Oobleck explained about Nam's Semblance.
Krillin saw Nam coming and wasn't able to hold up his shield in time as the attack lands on the chest area pushing him to crash right through a large rock.
"I hope you will forgive me for being so hard on you." Nam said, doing a little prayer.
"Don't think I'm about of the fight just yet!" Krillin yelled.
Then one Destructo Disc came out of the rumble and almost hit the shocked Nam who managed to dodge the attack that made a cut on his robe showing an armor plate under it.
Krillin jumps out going in to attack Nam with his hand-to-hand combat while he is caught off guard for a little bit, he throws some punches along with a few kicks that landed on Nam a few times, but the monk was able to push back and counter with his own.
Krillin and Nam stare at each other for a few seconds until the former grins then do a few backflips and hold up his shield.
"What are you" But Nam failed to realize that Krillin had launched one missile that was flying up then came back down towards Nam.
"Idiot! Look out!" Giran hurried and unleash a strange elastic rubbery gum like substance out of his mouth and whips it to wrap around the missile and throws it away to the other side.
"Huh, did that just come out of your mouth?" Krillin asked shock.
"Oh yeah, now face the might of my mighty and awesome Semblance that I named Merry-Go-Round Gum!" Giran bragged the name of his Semblance.
But instead of being feared of him with his Semblance, Krillin just straights up laughs and falls on his back with his legs in the air while Giran has a sweat drop.
"Oh dear…" Nam feared this would happen.
"Hey, did that kid really named his Semblance like that?" Port asked Oobleck whispering and one hand covering the mic of the headphone.
"Oh yes, it's all official and such." Oobleck nodded.
"Seriously? What kind of stupid name is that? Did you seriously got that from having to ride a merry-go-round when you unlocked it?" Krillin laughed mockingly.
Nam slowly turns his head towards and sees him gritting his teeth so hard that he could have sworn he saw little sparks.
"(I fear the bald one has committed a taboo.)" Nam thought gulped.
"YOU'RE DEAD?!" Giran shouted in rage and flap his wings to fly high into the air.
Krillin was a little surprised of how fast Giran is flying and saw him coming down at him like a cannon, he quickly moves out of the way, but Giran fling his Merry-Go-Round Gum to wrap around the waist.
"Let see if you find this funny!" Giran pulled Krillin in with his Semblance for a strong punch in the face being sent flying only to be stop by the rubbery gum thing to stretch and pull him back to be punched again and the process is repeated for several more times.
"Come on! Just try laughing at me now! Go ahead and make fun of my Semblance again!" Giran laughed angrily.
"Looks like your baldly hero isn't doing so good." Lapis said, seeing Krillin getting beaten.
"Probably from how he laughed at the big guy, don't know what it was, but it must've really made him mad." Coco guessed.
"Don't count him out just yet." Lazuli refused to give up on Krillin.
"Damn, Krillin is gonna have a hard time to get out of that." Ruby exclaimed.
"Maybe Kakarot could help them." Ghira said.
"Only if he could lose the other two." Blake spotted Kakarot fighting off Chappa and Bruce.
Kakarot is parrying and blocking attacks from both Chappa and Bruce who are performing some combo attacks in perfect sync, and he can tell these two are very skill with their martial art skills even when they're a little different from each other.
"I have to say, you guys are good!" Kakarot was impressed with these two.
"Thank you, you are not bad as well." Bruce commented.
Bruce threw a fast high kick that narrowly hit him in the chin though he jumps back and flew in the air sending four Aura blasts at the two.
Chappa runs around to dodge the two blasts that were coming at him and look up, he jumps high to land a strong punch that Kakarot was able to counter with a knee kick that connects with the fist.
"First, those energy blasts you did earlier and now you can actually fly! Just what kind of Semblance do you have?" Chappa asked.
"Let just say I'm a special case!" Kakarot smirked before grabbing his arm and starts spinning him around and around then threw him into the forest side.
Kakarot flew after Chappa with Bruce following right behind, hoping to get a few moments of one-on-one with that boy.
Chappa managed to land on the side of a tree and look up to see Kakarot coming at him fast, his arms glow and hold them up to defend against an incoming punch that causes the tree to lean.
"(This guy is really strong!)" Chappa thought grunted.
Kakarot threw one punch only for that punch to be grabbed by what appeared to be a third hand.
"What the…?!" Kakarot shocked.
"Time for you to feel my Semblance. The Eight-Arm Fist!" Chappa introduced his Semblance and three extra pair of arms form of his dark yellow aura.
Then Chappa started pounding his head with those extra fists for a moment before he punched the boy down to the ground.
"That was something else. Didn't know a Semblance can be like that." Kakarot amazed.
He looks up seeing Chappa coming down at him with the eight fists, Kakarot does his best to block those punches though few of them managed to get past the defense and landed hits on his body though he wouldn't go down despite those hard hits.
Kakarot starts countering and throwing some of his own attacks at Chappa who blocks and only dodges a few times because of how his two normal arms and three aura arms are doing well in protecting him.
But then Kakarot felt something in his head telling him that something is charging at him from behind, he quickly figured out that it must be Bruce who just done a strong jump for a flying kick attack.
Kakarot had to think of something and fast even when he is still fighting Chappa, and then he holds out one hand concentrating his energy into the palm and a simple thrust let out an air pressure that hit his face to knock him back.
But Chappa wouldn't quit so easily as he throws four of his right fists at Kakarot which he clashes against with his own fist, and he threw one kick to clash against Bruce's kick as well.
"This is exciting!" Kakarot laughed.
"Even two against one, Kakarot is really holding his own out there!" Port amazed with the boy's skill and strength.
"You appear to be enjoying yourself." Bruce commented.
"How can I not? This feels like the greatest fight I have ever fought, and it makes me wanna push myself even hard!" Kakarot smiled.
"That's what is means to be a marital artist." Bruce said before he jumps away from Kakarot.
"That no matter how strong you become, there will always be someone stronger than you out there in the world which is why you must always keep training when the time comes to face those strong fighters." Bruce stated the quote that every martial artist knows.
"Oh yeah, hearing all of that gets me so excited that I could explode!" Kakarot shouted and his Aura flares around him with a strong shockwave.
"You really did explode!" Chappa and Bruce commented in shock.
Kakarot quickly performs another of the same shockwave palm strike hitting Chappa to crash onto a tree and then he charges at Bruce.
Bruce ready himself with a kick to clash against his fist though was push back a few feet, then they start clashing their attacks and it looks like they are even except Kakarot appears to have the edge in strength and he is quickly adapting to Bruce's martial art.
"(I have no choice!)" Bruce thought knew it would have to come to this.
Bruce got in a little closer to Kakarot and held one hand out very close to his chest.
"(What is he doing?)" Kakarot thought wondered.
Bruce folds the hand into a fist as it glows white with a hint of a brown color, and hits the chest with that one-inch punch that sends a powerful shockwave through Kakarot's body making him gasp in pain and send flying toward Chappa.
"Looks like you couldn't withstand Bruce's Dragon-Inch Punch Semblance." Chappa grinned and started throwing his own fast barrage of punches onto Kakarot for a moment and knocked him down.
"You were foolish to challenge the both of us." Chappa said.
"You may have been a strong warrior and you have been trained well, but now all of that has been wasted. You and your partner are you going lose in the first round." Bruce stated.
Hearing that Kakarot is going to lose, he can also feel that Krillin is beating his butt handed to him as he is now laying on the ground and almost look like he is about to get beaten out of the fight.
No, Kakarot wasn't going to lose. He still has some fight left in his body and he is going to show those two how strong he really is.
"I'm not… I'm not done…" Kakarot pushed himself back up, clutching his fists.
"You're damn stubborn, I'll give you that." Chappa commented.
"Stubborn, I guess you could say it's like that. But my family and friends are watching, and my girlfriends, they want to see me give this fight my all and that's exactly what I'm gonna do!" Kakarot shouted with his aura bursting out again.
Chappa and Bruce ready themselves, but Kakarot moved faster than they could react with one punch on each stomach causing them to gasp from the serious damage and were sent flying out of the forest area.
"Time to finish this!" Giran swinged Krillin high into the air while Nam is above ready to use his Semblance again.
But then they saw their teammates being sent flying, and Krillin saw this as well, giving him hope knowing that Kakarot is still fighting which means he needs to fight too.
He sends his Destructo Disc to cut Giran's Semblance and breaks free, he then turns around to fire three missiles at Nam who panics as he is engulfed in a big explosion and falls with a little smack from Krillin sending him toward Giran who caught him.
Kakarot goes blitzing around Chappa and Bruce with some punches and kicks them away right at Giran, crashing and pushing him back from the incredible force of Kakarot's kicks that they were sent all the way to the edge of the ring and almost fell off.
"Damn it, I gotta get my team back in the fight!" Giran tried to use his wings, but that wouldn't work as Kakarot is charging up his attack to end the fight.
"Full Moon Impact!" Kakarot fired his white aura energy wave at Team CBNG.
"That move… It's like…!" Chappa shocked as he has seen an attack like that before.
And the whole team screams as they were blasted and pushed off the ring by the beam all the way to the wall of the forcefield.
"And the winner of the first match in the first round of the tournament is Team KK! What an amazing fight of the duo!" Port announced.

"We did it, buddy! We won!" Krillin shouted in cheer, he couldn't believe that just happened and yet he does at the same time.
"Yeah!" Kakarot raised his fist in the air while the crowd cheers for the two's success, he looks toward his family and others who are very happy that they won.
"This is only the first round. I can't wait to see what other fights is there!" Kakarot excitedly.

Kakarot and Krillin were able to win their first match with the fight being two against four and the opponents were tough, each with their own way of fighting and their Semblances are strong in their own way that almost put them in the losing end until they were able to pull through!
