Hello It's me. I just wanted to thank all of you who actually find this entertaining. Have a good day.
Chapter 4
"Aneeta West", a lady named Agness Whitlock announced this year's female career tribute. A girl around my age was preparing to step onto the stage when suddenly a loud voice startled me.
"I volunteer as a tribute", a tiny girl who couldn't have been more than 15 years old stepped onto the stage. She had dark hair and faint freckles splattered all over her face. She looked familiar yet somehow unknown and mysterious.
"What's your name", Agness asked once the strange girl came wearing a proud smirk.
"Clove. Clove Kentwell." Clove. Sounds familiar.
"How old are you, Clove?" Really, how old is she? Twelve?
"I'm fifteen years old Agness and no, I'm not delusional." Ha, good one.
In return Agness just looked at her with bewilderment and what must be shock but her smile never faltered. Not even for a second. Capitol woman
"Well Clove may the odds be ever in your favor and now let's choose male tribute…"
Suddenly the TV screen went black.
It was Peeta that turned off the TV and as I was about to yell at him he just pointed his finger towards his room. I understood what he meant so I didn't put much fight in it. His room was positioned on the left side of the train and when we got there he just shoved me into the room squealing.
"What the fuck Peeta?", I asked him, surprised by his change of attitude.
"You like her", was all he said. What the fuck
"Her?" To say I was shocked would be an underestimation.
"District 2 volunteer", Peeta answered and shortly after that added. "Clove, right?"
Shit. This can't be good
"No Peeta. I really don't. Don't make this awkward for both of us."
With that I walked away not being in the mood to explain myself. Sure she is cute and pretty and beautiful and mesmerizing and…Oh
…
We just got off the train when Capitol people started chanting our names and worshiping us like we are some gods. They are so sick. They don't even realize it but this, this is so sick.
I haven't talked to Peeta yet nor do I want to. He can be such a pain in ass.
"Look Katniss", Peeta started talking once we were seated in the living room eating lamb stew withdriedplums - my favorite."I'm sorry if I offended you I just saw the way you looked at her and I thought", he started rambling getting more and more nervous.
"Peeta stop", I said to him whilst leaving my bowl on the table before getting off the sofa I was seated in. "I'm not offended, just surprised. Also if this your way of asking if I'm gay you try for nothing."
"I'm leaving, don't follow me." Before he could say anything I was gone.
I stepped outside the apartment and went to the elevator. I pressed the R button which was, I assumed, the button for the roof. As the elevator doors opened I suddenly felt cold and was planning on going back, before noticing a tiny figure standing next to the railing. Avox, maybe?
But the person was much smaller so I assumed it was a female tribute. I tiptoed to her before a voice startled me.
"What do you want, Cato?" she said, venom dripping from her voice. She looked disinterested yet somehow warry.
"It's not Cato", I muttered loud enough for her to hear. She then turned around and with a look of amusement and schock studied me before taking a step towards me. She looked deadly and at the same time cute which was never a good mix and was also confusing. When she was close enough she tackled me to the ground before pulling out her knife and pressing it against my throat.
"Are you scared Katniss?", she asked me, her green eyes now shining in the pale moonlight. She knows my name. How? How the hell does she know my name?
"You wish", was all I said. She didn't do anything after that. She just looked at me with a knowing look. After a while, she got off me and outstretched her hand towards me. I swear I got deja vu for a second. She pulled me up and soon enough I was on the ground with both of my feet.
"The name's Clove." I already knew this y'know
"How do you know my name?"
"Reapings", was all she said. Not much of a talker I see
We stayed together on the roof as the sunset started rising before she got up.
"If anyone asks, we have never met. Understood?" she said anger lacing her voice. There was something dangerous in her voice yet I somehow felt drawn to her. For a moment I forgot that we'll be put into the same arena to kill each other. Damn
I just looked at her and sadly nodded. There were a million things I wanted to say but just couldn't voice it.
She nodded and went to the elevator but not before adding. "I expect to see you in the training."
I just smiled. Although I couldn't see it I knew she was smiling too. Fuck

So what do you think? Next chapter is gonna be longer. Clovniss meet was brief and short but dont worry. They're gonna have plenty of time to talk to each other unless…
Also thanks for the review. I hope you enjoy this story so far :)
