Theory#10: Apollo may be someone else.

Apollo could possibly be Dr. Kamizono. This can be seen on Apollo's sprite in the image pulse menus. Apollo's sprite has red eyes instead of purple. While both the sprite and illustration have white hair.

Apollo's purple eyes may be to represent Asimov's purple eyes, since he was experimented on at S-FIT. Apollo's glasses could represent Asimov's visor as well. The pendant may be a poke fun of the ASG3 joke ending. Where Mytyl can be seen wearing a pendant of Lola.

Enchanted bells were handed down in Copen's family for generations, which he gave to Lola. The pendant Apollo wears could be to demonstrate the shaky relationship he had with Mytyl who was the original Muse Adept. Apollo is also said to have had a past as a hitman. This makes sense, considering Dr. Kamizono had the original Border revolver to eliminate Adepts specifically.

He may have been forced to return to Sumeragi under the guise of Apollo if Sumeragi found out he was still alive.

Once it was found that Dr. Kamizono took the opportunity to abandon his job by faking his death, Sumeragi was furious. He told someone to file a false report, claiming that S-FIT exploded. To remain under the radar, he took up a new identity. He changed his eye color with contacts and got a new wardrobe.

He soon became Apollo, a man without a past. Some reminders of his past were kept, such as a visor. Upon seeing a news report, he heard that there was a boy named Gunvolt that was on the run from Sumeragi. Soon after that report was made, his true identity was discovered.

And Sumeragi had him right where they wanted him. When asked about his past, claims were he was a hitman. Still, he was placed back where he was before, at S-FIT as their lead researcher. His first task, aid them in testing Gunvolt's Septima further.

Plans were made to catch him and were already underway. All that was needed was patience. This did prove hard however, as waiting usually wasn't part of the job description. His assistant left at one point and came back with some news.

"They have him captured, but it will be at least twenty to twenty five minutes until he arrives." the assistant notified.

During the wait time, preparations were made. The equipment was cleaned and anesthetic was ready to use. Upon requesting clarification, Dr. Kamizono learned that they were going to bring Gunvolt to the room. However, things didn't sound like they were going as planned. Out in the hall, shouts and protests could be heard.

"It sounds like they have him alright." Dr. Kamizono retorted.

"You don't know what you're doing! Adepts don't mean any harm!" Gunvolt protested.

He was thrown into the room by two Sumeragi guards and they quickly shut the door to prevent another escape. Gunvolt looked at the man before him and felt his stomach churn. There was a growing sense of danger, but he didn't know why. But that's when it hit him.

Asimov warned Gunvolt about the scientist that experimented on him before. The same person that happened to be Copen's father. The very being responsible for Joule's pain. At the same time however, he had his doubts.

This man had purple eyes, not red. But otherwise, everything was the exact same. The labcoat, pants, shoes, visor and even the hairstyle. When Gunvolt eyed the gun in the man's holster on his right side, all doubts vanished faster than GV could run.

"Why did you create that machine!? And what did you do to Asimov!? He never hurt you! He never meant to hurt anybody! He was just a kid! He never wanted this!" Gunvolt snapped.

"Nobody wants this Gunvolt, you don't want to be here and I don't want to work here. But, it's what the top brass want. Personally, I want to see you all eradicated. Unfortunately, they won't allow it. So, this is all that can be done for now. I'm certain you know the drill at this point." Dr. Kamizono answered.

Meanwhile, Moniqa just informed Asimov that Gunvolt's signal was completely lost. While looking over the data regarding his whereabouts, Moniqa found his location.

"He's at somewhere called S-FIT? Where's that?" Moniqa pondered.

Asimov froze, he seemed stopped in time. After hearing no response, Moniqa turned around. Seeing Asimov like this, she instantly knew something was wrong. He then left without so much as a warning or goodbye.

This was definitely going to be Asimov's riskiest mission yet, with his most important employee on the line. With the help of Moniqa, Asimov reached the facility. Staring at it as if nothing happened to it reverted Asimov back to that helpless feeling he had all those years ago. Regardless, he was aware those feelings needed to be put aside.

By reminding himself he wasn't helpless anymore, Asimov gained the confidence to storm the inside. After entering, Asimov could no longer hear Moniqa. Luckily, there was no need as Asimov remembered which floor and room he was previously contained in. Once Asimov's presence was made known, the lockdown protocol was activated.

The doors had shutters placed over them and the elevator power was shut down. Being left with no other choice, Asimov used the stairs and prayed he wasn't too late to save Gunvolt. The mission was most difficult knowing his worst fear had come true. Asimov knew all the test subjects were replaceable, but this was ridiculous.

At the door to the experimentation room, Asimov used his Voltaic Chains to oversurge the door's electrical system. Asimov was beyond mortified when he saw Gunvolt bound in chains the exact way he was years before. What really hit him like a freight train however was knowing who was behind it.

"I should've known you would be back to haunt me. You just couldn't die until all Adepts did. That " Asimov realized.

Gunvolt wanted to yell, tell Asimov to run away and that he was fine. QUILL could go on without him, GV knew that. Asimov smacked Dr. Kamizono and the contacts landed on the floor, revealing red eyes exactly like Copen's. Whoever was revealed to Gunvolt appeared very angry as the man pulled out his gun.

The fight that took place was beyond brutal, with Asimov walking away carrying many Bullit holes. Even Gunvolt was unfortunate enough to have some. During the walk home, one thing was agreed on.

"We are never going to tell Joule about this, ever." Gunvolt warned.

"No, but I will." Lumen teased.

A/N: It was this point that I realized I have too much power as a writer if I can create a story like this.
