Erin's POV

I don't like this idea Silverwing told me as I looked for Ryou. The school day was over and I was currently looking for the white-haired human.

Neither do I, but he might know what happened to Meraxes, I pointed out.

I almost did an anime fall when I saw a group of girls surrounding Ryou. Seeing I was going to have to wait I checked my phone to see if I had any texts. Sure enough, I had one from Seto asking how my day was.

Survived another day of the damned pink uniforms

Was my text to him. My boyfriend knew I despised Domino High's uniforms for the girls.

"Seems like you're waiting for someone Randall"

Kaya Hongo wore that smirk I didn't like and I noticed she had a group of snobs behind her.

"I am not that's any of your business," I told her firmly.

I wasn't in the mood for her bullshit right now and she could f**k off for all I care.

Kaya glanced at the still-occupied Ryou before eying me again.

"Tell me how's Seto doing now these days?"

I dropped my phone when she said that. How the hell did she know Seto and I were even dating?!

Keeping my composure I grabbed my phone and pocketed it. But instead of answering her question, I decided to leave because if I didn't, I was afraid I would do something stupid. But Kaya was quick to block my path.

"Get out of my way," I growled, feeling my anger spiking.

"Why the great Seto Kaiba chose you to be his girlfriend is beyond me" Kaya continued. "You're not worthy of him and you know it"

A snarl escaped my lips and I felt my inner fox getting riled up.

"How dare you" I hissed. "He dumped your ass because of the way you treated Mokuba, I don't know who you think you are Hongo, but I am more worthy of him than you are"

"Please that little brat was always holding Seto back"

"Shut your mouth" I spat. "If you refer to Mokuba in that way again I'll really lose my temper Hongo and I won't hold back"

"Is everything alright here?"

I froze when I heard Bakura speaking in Ryou's voice.

"Stay out of this" Kaya snapped at Bakura. "This doesn't involve you"

Bakura simply chuckled before I felt him use whatever magic he had on him. Kaya suddenly looked sleepy and her posse hurriedly caught her as she fell. Then the Spirit of the Millennium Ring grabbed my hand and guided me away from the bitch group. Once we were alone did he drop his act of being Ryou.

"You need to calm down my Moonlight you are angry and I can sense your Nine-Tailed blood is close to surfacing"

"I don't care" another hiss escaped my lips.

Bakura then chuckled that dark laugh of his which I still found hot.

"Violent little thing aren't we?"

I snorted at that.

"Hardly, anyway there is something I need to ask you"

"Oh? And what would that be?"

"Do you know what happened to Meraxes? I've had a vision of her when Mareena claimed her along with the other Valyrian Ones, but for some reason, she wasn't with the Valyrian Deck when I acquired it, and don't lie to me, thief"

Bakura chuckled again before responding.

"Unfortunately I do not my Moonlight"

And he was telling the truth.

"Be wary of that mortal" the thief advised. "I don't trust her and now that she knows your with Kaiba, who knows what she's capable of"

"Let her f**king try"

"That offer for sending her to the Shadow Realm still stands"

I shook my head, and sensing I was finished with him, Bakura reverted back to Ryou.

"Looks like you're popular with the ladies, Ryou," I teased. "It's probably the accent"

He blushed which was cute.

"Maybe but none of those girls interest me"

"You'll find the right one eventually it just takes time"

"You know I'm curious about your mother, I've heard Nine-Tailed Foxes live for a long time"

"We do live longer than humans, but Mom's young for a fox, she's only a 100"

"A 100?!"

He looked shocked at this and I laughed.

"Foxes can live for a 1,000 years or more my friend, but when mated to a human they die alongside their other half"

It was then I caught wind of Seto's scent and I bid Ryou farewell. Thankfully my Zaldrizes was smart to park his limo away from school grounds. Kaya's posse sent me glares and I flipped them off when I walked past them. Seto was alone and he smiled when I entered the limo but then frowned when he noticed I was angry. He was wearing that indigo jacket of his.

"What's wrong Erin?" he inquired as the limo began to move.

"Kaya Hongo"

"Is she harassing you?"

I relayed what happened to him and he was furious when I finished.

"How dare she imply you're not worthy of me, let alone saying what she said about Mokuba"

I placed my hand on top of his and let him vent his anger. Eventually, he seemed to calm down and pulled me into his lap. My face went red, and of course, this made Seto smirk.

"You do know that we're in the back of a limo, my Zaldrizes," I reminded him.

"Don't care because I have a privacy screen, Kitsune," he teased. He then pressed his lips against mine and it wasn't long until I was responding back.

Next Morning.

"Hey, sis," Zane greeted me as I exited the house.

"What are you doing here dork?" I asked giving him a smirk.

"Kaiba gave me a call and suggested I walk you to school, I don't have classes today so here I am, by the way, that uniform looks cute"

I gave him the bird just as I noticed two suits close by. I recognized them as part of Seto's security detail.

"Damn, looks like Kaiba wasn't kidding around," Zane mumbled, seeing the suits. "But hey it means he loves you"

I gave the suits a nod and they returned the gesture as Zane and I began to walk.

"Still no luck with finding Meraxes?"

I shook my head.

"Not even Bakura knew where she was"

"At least that bastard is staying away from you" Zane growled. "For now"

I changed the subject and asked how Ishizu was. Zane blushed and said the two of them had their first date and I grinned. Suddenly, a car screeched to a halt next to us, and Zane hurriedly pushed me aside just as two thugs came out of the car.

"Run Erin!"

Not needing to be told twice, I hauled ass, but I didn't make it very far because I felt something sharp hit my neck, and the next thing I knew, I was out cold.

Zane's POV

I managed to knock the two assholes out cold when I saw Erin being pulled into another car. Just as I was about to head after the car, another thug punched me hard in the gut, and it f**king hurt. I was then sucker punched hard in the face, and I was soon on the ground dealing with the god-awful pain. Blood was flowing down my lower face as the thug got his colleagues to wake up, and then they high-tailed it to their car and drove off.

My phone rang and I didn't hesitate to answer it.

"What's going on?" Mom demanded.

Thank god for Mom's sixth sense this time!

I told her what had just happened, and she snarled. Wherever those bastards were taking Erin, they didn't realize who they were messing with.

Kaiba's POV

I was overlooking some paperwork when my assistant rang me up.

"What is it?"

"Sir there's a Naomi Randall on the line"

Alarmed I told my assistant to put Naomi through. If she was calling me then something happened to Erin. I knew Kaya wasn't going to leave her alone!

"Someone took my daughter," Naomi told me the minute she got on the line. I could tell she had been crying, but I also heard anger in her voice.

"I know who took her, and she's going to pay for this, you have my word, Naomi"

"Then I'm going with you to find Erin"

Her tone told me not to argue with her. Even I knew better not to argue with an angry full full-blooded Nine-Tailed Fox.

"Understood, I won't be long" I promised before hanging up the phone.

I then made sure the bodyguards that I had keeping an eye on Mokuba were still at his school. I wasn't taking any chances of my little brother getting snatched. When I was informed Mokuba was safe I stood up from my chair and undid my tie. Kaya Hongo was going to regret kidnapping the woman I loved once and for all.

Oh crap! Don't worry Erin will okay, this scenario was actually inspired by "My Happy Marriage". Also Bakura's line about Erin being a little violent is from "Fourth Wing".
