Notes:

Hello hello. I know it's been a minute. I have had this chapter written for like a few months. I didn't post it because I was lazy. that's just the facts. I was planning on posting it and then I went on a cruise ship and then when I came back I was so burnt out that yeah I couldn't do it. and then I went to go stay at my dad's and then when I came back home I went to go see my brother and that was like non-stop traveling and every time I got like a break in between I was so tired I didn't want to do anything.

Anywho to give you some life updates other than the frequent traveling I've been doing, I got one of the diagnoses I was searching around for. according to my mother, it's not good enough for her opinion but for me, it's plenty satisfying. Or at least I'm trying to convince myself that's the case. I was diagnosed with autism. I am still looking into getting further testing because I also think I have ADHD but you know I could live and let live for right now.
Anyway, I'm really happy that I got diagnosed because I've been struggling for a very long time and I just thought there was something wrong with me like that I was somehow failing at life and it was all my fault. But apparently, my brain just discombobulated on its own and I'm suffering the side effects of that. Nothing wrong with it just I have to adapt my life to a different style because the world doesn't work for me and I have to figure out how to make it. And it's really difficult and hard and I'm struggling a lot.
It's one of the reasons I'm not currently writing, like I said I've had this chapter written for quite a while I just didn't have the motivation to even touch my computer.
I also went through some stuff recently where like none of it was my fault but someone destroyed a lot of my stuff & I'm very possessive of my belongings and all of my belongings hold some type of deep meaning to me so having a lot of my stuff destroyed really made me self-destruct inside a little bit and I got really depressed and paranoid and yeah. So I've been all over the place recently and I'm still looking for some diagnosis and getting checked out physically because I have some medical problems that need fixing or at least getting looked at because I'm having a lot of issues.
Like I'm still in intense stomach pain and it's to the point where I would ask to go to the hospital in an ambulance if they didn't cost so much money, if an ambulance was free I think I would have been to the hospital because of the pain. And also my fainting from standing thing is still going on so I'd like to get that checked out too.
Anyway, I do want to work on the story but it may be in Hiatus for a little bit because I'm burnt out again.
I'm going to be traveling again as well I'm going to Great Wolf Lodge with my niece and nephew and so I probably won't be around a computer for a little bit. I mean I'll have my phone on me but I don't think I'll be writing. especially since the road trip is like 3 hours and I cannot read while in a car. let alone right. At least it's better than the road trip to my brother's house which was 6 hours. Can you imagine 6 hours next to my mother oh my God worst day of my life. Tho to be honest with you I spent 7 days next to her and that was hell, so anything's better than that.

Long Beach, California S.I.

"Tony, Tony, Tony. We are partners in this company. Things, like those decisions made in the press conference, have to be discussed before they're aired out to the public. I know you're still healing and you just got back and you're feeling a lot of emotions right now but I think you need to step back and recuperate a little bit and then we will have a company discussion and we'll see where we go from there." Stane says, smiling as he walks up to Tony standing before the arc reactor.

"The company I'm in charge of should follow my business ventures, no?" Tony says not turning to look.

"Sure, but we are a weapons company, it's all we do Tony. Since when I was business partners with your father; to us being in business together now, we are the front line of defense for the American citizens, we can't stop making the weapons that keep them safe." Stane said, putting a hand on Tony's shoulder to force him to face him.

Tony frowned but looked at Stane,

"The weapons that I made to defend our country were in the hands of the terrorists that held me captive for three months. Clearly, my weapons are not being used correctly. And Weapons aren't the only things we could be making; we could be making the arc reactor integrated into other technology. It could be a new age for Stark Industries" Tony said, pointing to the large arc reactor in front of them.

"Tony you know as well as I do that that art reactor was just a figment of a dream that has had no progress in years. We made that thing to shut the hippies up. There's no future for the arc reactor." Stane said, looking Tony in the eyes.

But Tony smiled and unbuttoned his shirt to show Stane the arc reactor in his chest.

"No progress till now. Like I said, a new age." Tony said with a firm tone.

As he buttoned his shirt up so no one else would see.

Stane had a sly smile on his face as Tony left the room with the swagger of a man with a new life ahead of him.

Tony's Lab, Stark Industries

"Pepper? Are you there?" Tony's voice filters through Pepper's tablet.

"Tony?" Pepper says barely over the sound of the TV, she had been watching news shows and podcasts blasting Tony for what he'd said in the press conference he had the moment he got stateside again.

"Yeah, Pep, come to the lab, ASAP," Tony said with a bit of urgency, Pepper sighed, placing her tablet down and muting the TV's volume.

She hit a few buttons to open the door to Tony's private lab and walked in to find her boss on an elevated medical chair with another glowing circular thing in his hand, similar to the one stuck in his chest.

"Sir?" Pepper asks, finally stepping up to the chair and looking at her boss closely.

His eyes were tired-looking, with deep bags sunken into his face, clearly showing he hadn't been resting much even though he clearly needed it. And despite the medical machines hooked up to him, Tony looked like he was not doing good.

"What did you call me for?" Pepper asked again as her boss seemed to space out from time to time, with a far away look in his eye.

"Oh, you're here, good. Show me your hands." Tony said, looking at Pepper's hands.

"My hands? Why?" Pepper asks, holding up her hands so Tony can look.

"You've got small hands, perfect. Just what I needed. A set of small hands." Tony said, rambling a bit.

"Anyway, I need you to just help me get something. See there's a small copper coil that got dislodged in my chest cavity underneath the reactor so I'm going to take the reactor out and you're going to take your small hands and grab the copper wire and pull it out without touching the metal on the sides. You know, like Operation; the game. Pull out the piece without making it go zip-zap by touching the metal. And that's that. Easy right?" Tony said, having already pulled out the old reactor.

"Uhh, sure, is this safe?" Pepper asks pulling her hand back before fully reaching in.

"Yep! Super safe, as long as the copper wire is not BANged into anyyyyy—thing on its...way out," Tony said having trouble speaking clearly as Pepper's hand was already inside his chest as she grabbed the copper wire.

"Ugh, I'm touching puss," Pepper said, frowning as her hand started to touch some wet substance.

"Not, puss, it's fluid made by the reactor in my chest." Tony corrected.

"It smells very bad Tony." Pepper said feeling grossed out with the touch and the smell combination.

"Well, yeah, it does smell pretty bad, but what can you do? Oh, you got it good, now pull the copper wire out but make sure not to pull it too far out where you yank the magnet ouuuuuuuuu-" Tony never finished his sentence as Pepper pulled out the magnet.

BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!

"AhH!? What's that sound?" Pepper jumped in shock after the machine hooked up to Tony blared a noise and turned red.

"Oh, it's nothing jUSt the sound of mE going IntO cardiac arrest," Tony said sarcastically while in actual pain.

He quickly fumbled handing the new reactor to Pepper and motioned for her to place it in his chest once again.

After it was placed back in again and Tony stood to clean up a bit Pepper said to him while facing away from Tony,

"Next time find someone else with small hands, Tony, I am not doing that ever again."

"Who else do I have but you Pep? Especially with small hands." Tony said winking & smirking.

"Oh I don't know, maybe Charlie can help you," Pepper said, curious about the other redhead Tony knew.

Tony paused,

"Charlie?"

"Yes, the woman who you said to send a fruit basket to but gave me no address." Pepper clarified.

"Mmhmm, right. You said you met her right? She gave you the info to help track me down." Tony asked.

"How did you meet her?" Pepper asked.

Normally she wouldn't inquire about the women Tony meets because it was quite obvious about why they met up or where they met, but Charlie was a little different because of how vehemently she denied being involved with Tony in that way.

Tony faced Pepper and waited till she looked at him to pat his tattoo,

"We are in the same book club. We got matching tattoos and everything."

Pepper paused remembering Tony's month-long disappearance right before he got kidnapped.

"She's in the cult too?" Pepper said sarcastically.

"Yep! She's the one who inducted me into it. Well, I kind of walked my way into it but she was the one who told me about it and helped me out of a tough situation in a way. But no, we're book club buddies. We both joined the glorified book club together and we got matching tattoos. Charlie and James. James was there too. Two new friends I made during that month, where I took a little vacation." Tony said being vague on purpose.

"Friends." Pepper repeated the word, surprised it came out of her boss' mouth.

The only person her boss; Mr. Stark, ever considered as a friend, was Rhodey but other than that she's just she's never heard him say that about anyone else before.

"Yup, friends. If you ever see Charlie again or a guy called James they're my friends. There's also Sam and Dean. I met them a month ago as well. And then there's a guy named Cas but I met him briefly twice and I don't know about him James says he's dangerous and Dean says he's a friend but honestly, he just looks like a guy who doesn't know how to tie a tie. They were all friends I made on my month-long vacation. But I probably won't see them for a while since they are busy saving the world or at least that's what Charlie says they do." Tony said with a little disbelief.

He agrees that fighting against the supernatural is in a way, saving people, sort of heroic but whether it's as gravitational as saving the whole world he's not exactly sure. But according to Charlie, they've saved the world multiple times, Sam and Dean at least. So while he's not 100% believing it, it could be possible.

Anything's possible especially after you meet an angel.

"Right. So where do I send the fruit basket?" Pepper said not understanding half of what Tony was talking about.

Air Base, US Air Force

Rhodey was standing before a group of soldiers giving them a speech until Tony walked out of the shadows to interrupt. They cracked jokes until it was just the two of them.

"Tony, you still look like you haven't taken a break yet. Have you still not rested?" Rhodey asked, looking his close friend in the eyes.

"Ahh rest is for the weak. I'll sleep when I'm dead." Tony said annoyed.

"Well, considering you almost died, I'd say you need it bub. How are you?" Rhodey said, pushing the jokes aside as he really did worry for his friend.

"Better than ever. I have big ideas for bigger and better projects. Projects that I could use your help with." Tony said cryptically.

Rhodey smiled wide,

"I knew the genius inside of you wasn't done yet. Tony, you will make the US government very happy with any new idea you've got coming." Rhodey said, clamping Tony on the shoulders.

Tony pulled away.

He backed up but kept eye contact with his longest and bestest friend.

"Rhodey. I'm not creating weapons for the government. I meant something big that only you could help me with. Something you personally could help with, not the military. I'm not making weapons that can fall into anyone's hands anymore." Tony clarified seriously.

But his long-time friend didn't get it.

"Tony. Take some R&R. You need it. Think things through and come back with a fresh and healed mind, okay brother?" Rhodey said, thinking his friend was crazy for ending his weapon contracts with the US government, his boss'.

But when Rhodey walked away Tony instead got lost in thought.

He started remembering a memory back from his time in Afghanistan. A very sad memory from when he was escaping.

It was a dark and musty cavernous encampment. There was barely any light and it was humid and hot consistently. There was no rest to be taken or ever a moment's rest between working on building Jericho for the terrorists.

While in the cave, Tony Stark wasn't alone.

He was held captive alongside another man, Yinsen.

During their time inside the cave, and as they were building the missile together, they grew close and had many conversations.

The man had saved Tony Stark's life, and continued to help him all the way up until the escape.

At this particular moment, they were having a conversation. A conversation about what really mattered to them. What was really waiting for them back home.

For Yinsen, he talked about a family to return to. A home that he had to fight to get back to.

But he reversed the question onto Tony and asked if there was anything or anyone waiting for him after he got out of here.

The bittersweet reply was quite simple.

Tony had nobody. There was Stane and Pepper and if you count his AI system, then Jarvis.

There were those few.

But was there really anyone who was there for him? At first their was no answer.

For a brief moment, his new friends popped into his head as a possible group of people who would actually care about him.

It's funny people he met only for a month, actually registered in his brain as people who would actually care for him.

Would they actually be sad that he was dead?

Or that he was going to die?

That he was only living because of a magnet, pulling away shrapnel from his heart.

Would any of the people he thought of truly care?

It made him think about what connections he was building and what he was doing with his life.

It made him think; if he needed to go against the world who would be standing side-by-side with him to face it.

Who were the people like that in his life?

And he thought it was obviously Stane, a man who was like family.

Someone in his life, his whole life.

...

Or even Rhodey.

Rhodey had his back all through college and they were as thick as thieves.

Yet, when the time came, he was all alone.

Like Yinsen made him realize in that dank cave, who was it that was actually there for him.

And just like back, then, a few people popped into his head again.

Tony wanted to laugh at the thought of calling his cult and book club members. But as he literally had nobody else to turn to, he thought why not?

He didn't expect them to pick up so even if they didn't, there would be no disappointment.

He gave Dean a call first while still standing in the Air Force Base.

It rang and there was a weird voicemail cryptically talking about the supernatural and emergencies or whatever.

Clearly, he was busy or just ignoring Tony.

Tony felt a bit defeated, even though he didn't really plan on putting any hope into any of the phone calls. He was going to do it just now, but it's still stung to know that there was nobody in your corner when you really needed it.

But just in case the rest of his newbie trio was separated from the professionals he gave Charlie a call, not expecting her to pick up either.

Except she did.

"Hello!" Charlie's voice filtered through the phone.

"Charlie." Tony choked out not expecting this.

"Tony! Oh my God! Are you alright? I saw your press conference. I was so worried about you. I saw your assistant, Ms. Potts. I gave her the info I got from using the tracking spell. I was gonna call, but I'm on a hunt. Not by myself, of course, I've got James. He's here too! You wanna say hi!" Charlie word-vomited in her excitement.

Tony just laughed,

"How about, instead you come over to my house and we can catch up?" Tony asked not wanting to ask everything on the phone.

"Uhhhhhh sure we can come over...uhhh we're still in your state but uh we are hunting at the moment. Uhm maybe in a week or if we rush...sooner?" Charlie said like she wasn't sure.

Tony was gonna say no rush but he heard Charlie's voice moving away from the speaker,

"3 days." Was what came over the phone with James' voice.

"Good to hear your voice James, but take your time. Don't get hurt, well you and your metal arm is probably fine—metal arm...James, how do you feel about an upgrade?" Tony said getting distracted mid-way through the conversation.

He'd forgotten about James' metal arm and thought about the mechanics behind it and how he could put it into his own form.

"Uh... hey, it's me again. James gave the phone back, but I'm sure he'd be down." Charlie responded.

"It's fine, come whenever, if you need anything else just call," Tony said as he hung up.

It gave Tony a sense of relief in his gut from just having someone in his corner again, even though he didn't know what capacity they would be there for him just having someone there was nice.

He didn't know if they would fight with him or really do what he needed, but sometimes just answering a phone call helps.

As much as Tony didn't want to admit that.

After the call hung up he just stood there, staring at his phone for a few more minutes before looking in the direction that Rhodey walked and then turned around and walked back to where he came from.

He had to prepare for guests; for whenever they came sometime next week or in three days, who knows.

He was also curious about what type of hunt they were on.

He definitely made a bullet point in his mental checklist to check the area around where he lived to see what omens or signs or murders there were in the area that would prelude to a hunt.

He felt a little more relaxed, more so than how he felt in the 3 months he's been in captivity and the few days he's been back.

It was odd.

Listening to Yinsen's words and finding who was really there for him, was quite an introspection into his own life.

Tony Stark's Mansion, A Week Later

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

WING WING WING

*FLASHING RED LIGHTS*

The alarm was going crazy in Tony's mansion as two uninvited guests broke in.

This was not Charlie's idea.

Charlie's idea was to call Tony.

Let him know they were in the area and coming to see him soon.

But Charlie doesn't have a phone anymore because Charlie's phone got smashed by a vampire.

And James doesn't have Tony's number in his phone.

Tony gave James his number three months ago, but James didn't remember how to save it and so now they had no way of contacting Tony. Charlie had no way of contacting anybody and the only phone number. James had was Dean's phone number but Dean was not picking up his phone. He hadn't been picking up his phone in three months. If Sam hadn't given clear instructions to stay far away from the bunker for a little while, they would've already gone back to check on them because of how nonresponsive they'd been.

But that's beside the point right now.

Charlie thought that even if they didn't have Tony's phone number if they got to his house and knocked on the door, maybe they would be let in but that idea went out the window when James saw a security guard and freaked out a bit and pulled Charlie with him over the fence and then they snuck their way onto the balcony to which it was unlocked and they walked inside to an alarm blaring.

James was on high alert; knife out and battle-ready.

And poor Pepper was frozen, staring at James scared until she saw Charlie.

"Charlie?" She asked, still slightly scared.

"Oh! Hi Ms. Potts!" Charlie said, waving, walking past James trying to push his knife down.

"Stop, that's Tony's assistant," Charlie said struggling since James didn't ever budge unless he wanted to.

To Pepper Potts, the two intruders were odd.

James was scary.

He was currently in black jeans, a bomber jacket with a hoodie underneath covering his head and he had a black mask over his face and looked like a robber for all intents and purposes and Charlie, while looking a little bit similar, her ensemble was more of a plaid version of what James was wearing and a little bit more color.

But neither of them looked normal because they both had machetes on their back.

After all, they just got back from killing vampires and they were a little bit on edge after having to kill so many of them. And a tad bloody.

If Pepper didn't recognize Charlie then she'd have screamed bloody murder.

"Jarvis, please shut off the alarms," Pepper said as all the alarms shut off.

"That's better. Charlie, nice to see you again. And you're...James right? Tony's talked about you both a bit previously. It would've been nice to welcome you through the front door, but since you are friends of Tony, I guess it's okay to overlook it. Tony is probably in his lab with his music blaring to the highest volume and probably didn't hear anything or passed out. If you just wait here, I'll go get him in one form or another. One moment please." Pepper said with a business smile as she briskly walked with purpose to go find her boss, but the smile didn't seem all that happy.

Five Minutes Later

Pepper was back with a yawning Tony in tow.

"I have a phone, you know," Tony says instead of greeting his company.

"Well I don't anymore and James forgot to save your number." Charlie sassed back.

"I didn't plan to break in, your guards startled James. And we ended up here." Charlie explained.

"Plus you left your terrace unlocked, I thought if it was unlocked I could just walk right in, I learned this trick from you obviously," Charlie said, referencing Tony's self-kidnapping into the bunker.

"I have alarms." Tony quipped right back, because as far as he knew the bunker didn't have any.

"That you slept through," Charlie pointed out.

"Touché," Tony said and walked forward smiling.

"How've you been in my absence?" Tony said.

Charlie sighed and looked at Pepper briefly, but she continued on in answering,

"We just finished a hunt. It took longer than we thought though. There were more of them than us and they just kept coming. But nothing James couldn't handle." Charlie said, patting James on the back.

James nodded, putting his knife away but was still cautious.

"You two riding solo? What about Sam? Or Dean? Didn't think Dean would miss out on a hunt." Tony asked.

James and Charlie looked at each other.

"The handlers said to stay clear as they had bigger problems to deal with," James answered.

"Dean said it wasn't newbie stuff and told us to scram and stay clear of the bunker till they reached out to us." Charlie reiterated.

"Hmmm, we should install cameras inside the bunker," Tony said offhandedly.

"J remind me to do that later," Tony said to his ceiling.

"Yes, Sir." The robotic A.I. the voice said.

James startled looking for the voice and Charlie squealed,

"Ahh, it's your artificial intelligence you created! Sooo cool!"

Charlie had asked him about it multiple times in the bunker, she truly was a fan, she read his college thesis and followed him in the news for a while. So, just experiencing what she heard so much about made her excited, however, she did try to explain to James that there was no threat but James walked to Tony,

"I need to search the premise." James' monotoned voice said completely serious.

Tony squinted but sighed and said,

"Have fun James but meet back here when you're done. Pepper, can you order some Chinese? I'm feeling Chinese. Oh and order a lot James can eat three people's worth of food." Tony said, walking to a computer and pulling up some files.

James immediately walked off checking his surroundings and making sure the place was safe.

Charlie followed Tony, curious about what he was doing.

And Pepper went off to order some food.

"That's what's engraved into our ribs," Tony said in between bites of food while pointing to the screen, which showed the x-rays Tony took months ago.

James looked fascinated because Sam and Dean didn't have access to an x-ray machine and he never got to see the results of what Cas did to him.

Charlie placed a hand on her chest,

"I hope I never have to explain that to a doctor," Charlie said then looked at Tony,

"How exactly did you explain that to the doctors?" Charlie asked curiously.

Tony brushed it off,

"Easy, I didn't see any doctors," Tony said.

It was true, they brought him to the hospital but he didn't let anyone touch him, not with the protege arc reactor in his chest. They just patched up the superficial wounds and he went on his way.

"Are you okay? I'm not one to harp on about getting kidnapped, but it being for real this time, must've been rough. You alright? Do you need any help with anything?" Charlie offered before Tony had the chance to ask for help.

"Yeah, I do need some help actually..." Tony said vaguely.

"I'm open to help in any way I can. I'm sure James will help too, right James?" Charlie asked James who had two boxes of fried rice down already.

"Understood," James said, taking it as an order.

He was getting better some days and others he'd digress.

Charlie wasn't sure what was better. She was happy James was earning his free will back but was it because the brainwashing was slipping or was he returning to his old self?

Whatever the case maybe he shifted between these different selves and it seemed like he was in a wavering state.

Charlie really wished Sam and Dean weren't MIA at the moment cause she needed to know what to do in a situation where James went rogue.

But that wasn't happening now, it just seemed like he was becoming less of THE soldier and more human and that seemed like a good thing.

But it was slow going and had its setbacks like now.

"Thanks. But I need to know how far you're willing to go. We just met and I don't know if you guys are prepared for-" Tony was saying before Charlie interrupted him.

"Tony. Whatever you need, I'll help if it's possible. We're friends right?" Charlie asked.

Charlie's definition of friends was like Sam & Dean's which was something akin to family. So if Tony needed something, she'd be more than happy to help, plus she and Sam were really worried when Tony was kidnapped.

She's sure if Sam and Dean weren't dealing with demons they'd be here offering help too.

"I'll help," James said.

He got the gist of what was happening by listening to the conversation.

Tony felt some type of way, it really struck him, that these people really would do anything to help.

Maybe they were really good people or he just surrounded himself with bad people before.

"I was serious in the press conference. I don't intend to make weapons anymore. I plan to move forward with arc reactor tech." Tony said, popping the buttons to show the reactor in his chest.

"You're not the only cyborg now," Tony said jokingly yet he wasn't laughing.

Charlie gasped,

"Why is it in your chest?" Charlie asked concerned, she didn't hear anything about Tony being badly injured.

Some articles called him injured in the head for talking about shutting down his weapon manufacturing but besides that, he should've been fine.

"It's keeping me alive, I almost died, by my own weapon in the hands of those who kidnapped me. I have shrapnel in my chest heading for my heart, and if it hits I'll die. This thing is acting as a magnet and pulling the shards away and it's keeping me alive. The arc reactor is keeping me alive while my own weapons are killing me as we speak, so I am shutting down the weapons manufacturing and instead leaning into arc reactor tech." Tony said explaining what he tried to explain to Stane.

"Makes sense." Charlie agreed after hearing Tony out.

James also nodded, the arc reactor stuff flew over his head but got the gist of it, and it made sense even to him.

"So you plan on going after the people who kidnapped you?" James asked as in his mind that was the only plan of action that made sense, to get revenge or peace of mind of this never affecting others,

"Yes. I plan on taking all of my weapons out of the hands of the terrorists. By means of completely destroying them." Tony confirmed.

James nodded and thought about the logistics of it,

"It will take a small team of men and some high-caliber weapons but it's possible," James explained.

"I'm not really the combat type, as you know Tony but if you need help in the brains department then look no further," Charlie said as she really didn't want to go around firing guns and military weapons, but she would if need be for Tony.

Tony felt like crying but didn't.

"No. You both don't need to, I was thinking of going in alone. I was just thinking If James could help me with a bit of self-defense and let me take a look at your prosthetic arm. And Charlie if you could help me with my newest and latest weapon. J, pull up the blueprints." Tony said.

"Going alone is suicide." James clarified.

"Well, how about wearing this?" Tony said as a 3D-rendered model of a new and improved suit appeared on the screen.

"Is that even possible?" Charlie asks.

"How do you think I escaped? I built version one of that in a cave with missile scraps. I think now, I can build something on a whole other level." Tony said

Charlie and James were looking at something only a true genius was capable of.

Tony Stark was something else.

Notes:

So let me speak a little bit about the writing process for this story is I'm going to try to follow the Marvel Universe storyline because I don't want to rewrite the Supernatural one. Also, this book takes place around the Iron Man movies so no need to really talk about the Supernatural storyline other than its characters and some chance appearances of Sam and Dean later on. Also because I forgot some of what happened in the latter part of season 8 of Supernatural so here's me skipping over it because I don't want to write it.

However, that being said I don't remember ever watching Iron Man 2 so going to have to rewatch it or I guess watch it for the first time. And as I watch the movie I'm going to be like jotting down little cool scenes that I think of. That's what I've been doing so far. I'm watching through Iron Man 1 and while I have watched it before I don't remember it because I watched it when it first came out and haven't we watched it since. So my memory is a bit foggy other than reading fan fiction about it. So at the moment I'm rewatching it and pausing it while I write down cool ideas that come to my head as I watch it. So that's what you're going to be reading for the most part in the beginning until I get to the nitty-gritty of why I wanted my three newbies together and what they're going to do and stuff. To be honest with you I think it'll get really exciting toward the middle of the book. I think the part where like the other Avengers come in and other stuff happens is when it's going to get like spicy and good but the story needs to be built before it gets there so that's where we're at now. I will say the first book had like 12 chapters but this book will probably have more like 25 depending on how many Iron Man movies I want to fit in this book. Because if im fitting all three of them before the Avengers arc starts then this book's going to be longer than the first book but if I'm not planning on doing that then maybe it'll be short. But my guesstimate is probably 25 to 30 Chapters at most. And then maybe the next book because obviously, there's going to be a next book. You should know me by now. But for the next book it'll probably start with the whole Avengers Arc. At least that's my best guess because I swear I haven't touched this in like so long. But here's to my writer's block being cured and me getting over my burnout soon!
