Getting the Job and the Green Woman
After Ozpin gave his big speech to the Hunters-in-training and everyone went off to select their mission at the hologram mission boards to pick their first mission that they will be experiencing soon.
And that includes Team RWWBY as they make their way to one hoping to get a mission that could take them to the southeast.
"This is perfect! All we have to do is shadow a Huntsman working in the southeast!" Ruby excited.
"Yeah! We'll follow them around by day and give them the slip by night!" Yang smirked.
"Try not to get too excited, the Hunter we could be assign to will be watching us like a hawk, so we got to be really careful with how we do our sneaking around." Wolverine stated.
"He's right, best to be careful." Weiss agreed.
"Now, let's check "search and destroy"!" Weiss suggested as they went to one hologram mission board.
Wolverine look at the mission selection for "search and destroy" seeing them being about searching for some criminals on the lose or other things while there are others about finding some Grimms that have been sighted and needs to be destroy once they are found.
"(I wonder how much money I would've made if I have gone to being a Huntsman full-time?)" Wolverine thought asked himself.
"Here we go! Quadrant 5 needs Grimm cleared out!" Ruby pointed at one mission.
"Well, it's in the southeast!" Blake said reading the location of the mission.
"Sounds prefect!" Yang nodded.
However, their happiness was short-live when Ruby selected the mission only for the screen make a slight alarm sound and display a warning that first year students are not allowed to take this mission which upsets Wolverine.
"Wonderful." Weiss said sarcastically.
"This is gonna fuck up our plans." Wolverine scratched the back of his head.
"Any other ideas?" Blake asked.
"We mail ourselves there!" Ruby suggested, thinking about how Zwei got here through mail service.
"I don't think we'll be able to do what your dad and the dog did with the package." Wolverine doubted they would pull off something crazy and nearly physical impossible.
"Yes, that does seem impossible to pull off." Ozpin said walking up to them surprising the team a little.
"Unfortunately, we determined that the concentration of Grimm was too extreme for first-year students. It seems that particular region is rather popular. In fact, I have the sneaking suspicion that you four will make your way there no matter which job you choose." Ozpin said with a look at them.
The girls become a little nervous and worried that the headmaster of Beacon Academy may have just seen right through them, but Wolverine is being calm about this.
"Let just say we have our reason for wanting to go there." Wolverine crossed his arms.
"I recall that you wish to find Sabretooth to settle things between you two, am I right?" Ozpin asked.
"Yeah, the bastard has a lot to answer for and prison would be too kind for him either." Wolverine stated as Yang looks at him with concerns.
"Then I suppose it would be possible for Sabretooth to be at that location where lots of Grimms lurking around, almost like you lots have been doing your own lurking around." Ozpin said with a small smile.
"What? Wh… What do you mean by that?" Ruby asked nervously, feeling like her team has been caught.
"Is there a point you're trying to get at?" Wolverine asked crossing his arms.
"Since you have been the only one who has ever fought Sabretooth many times and was close to getting him too, Nick convinced me to "bend" the rules to help you on your quest." Ozpin tapped on his Scroll screen and the screen on the hologram mission board change for team RWWBY to go.
This made the girls happy as they look at each other and Wolverine felt a little relief knowing the headmaster is letting them go, and that Nick was able to pull some strings for them too.
"Thanks a lot, I owe you one." Wolverine nodded.
"We won't let you down. Thank you, professor." Ruby nodded, giving her own thanks to him.
"Do not thank me for this. Teamwork and persistence have carried you far. But you must understand, the things that await you beyond the protection of the Kingdom will not care. Stay close to your Huntsman at all times and do exactly as he say. He will be leading you on this mission, and he can have you sent back to Beacon, if he finds your skills to be unsatisfactory. Good luck." Ozpin advised and walked away.
"(That was pretty deep, Ozpin, but sometimes we need some deep talks to remind us of what we signed up for.)" Wolverine thought knew what the headmaster was going with.
Team RWWBY leaves the auditorium, and Ruby quickly grabbing her backpack, walking through the dock heading to the Bullhead that will be taking them to Quadrant 5.
"That wasn't exactly uplifting." Yang commented.
"Not every speech has to be uplifting." Wolverine pointed out.
"But it's the truth." Blake added.
"It's gonna to be tough, but I know we can do it!" Ruby believed, knowing how strong her team is and will be able to get through this mission as long as they stick together.
"Hey! Team CFVY is back!" One Beacon student shouted, and everyone gathers to one spot.
This got team RWWBY's attention to see if what thatone guy said is true hoping they'll be able to see their upperclassman friends again, they hurried over to where the crowd is gather seeing team CFVY walking out of the Bullhead.
"Velvet? Are you okay?" Blake called out.
"I'm fine. I had Yatsuhashi to look out for me." Velvet nodded and gestures to her partner.
Velvet has long, brown hair and brown eyes. She also has a pair of brown rabbit ear. She wears a cropped brown jacket with a thin gold zipper and her emblem on the right of the chest, over a thin black top and brown shorts that that decorated metal trim alongside black tights with golden metal flats. Accenting her outfit are a pair of gold spaulders, cuffs, a belt, that have decorative patterns. The box containing her weapon attaches to the belt. Breasts sizes: F-cup.
"Hello, friends." Yatsuhashi greeted simply before walking away.
Yatsuhashi is a tall and athletic-looking young man with shaved-short black hair and tanned skin, who wears mostly pale-green and brown attire. He has a long, short-sleeved robe, which he wears on one shoulder over a black muscle shirt. The robe is fastened at the waist by a leather armored belt with two pouches on it. He also wears brown pants and black-and-green boots. His left arm bears a 5-layer sode which extends up past his shoulder. His weapon is affixed to his back with a padded brown strap slung over his shoulder. He also wears a pair of bracers as well as a pair of black gloves with green plates on the backs.
"Your mission was supposed to end a week ago! What happened?" Weiss asked concern.
"Nothing happened. It was just ... there were just so many..." Velvet paused for a moment recalling the many Grimms she and her team had to deal with.
But then she notices the worry looks on their faces though Wolverine had a different mind set such as remembering the times he had to fight off lots of Grimms that for the past 2-3 days none stop.
"The important thing is that your team endure those black fuckers and came back home in one piece, I say that's a win and I speak from experience." Wolverine smiled.
"When you put it like that, I guess we did get ourselves the biggest win than we thought." Another of Velvet's teammate smiled.
"Hey, Coco! Our juniors were just worried about us." Velvet said.
"Nice to know you guys are tougher than metal, and that's saying something." Wolverine said showing his claws.
"Well, we do like to be extra tough when we get serious." Coco lowered her shades giving him a wink.
Coco is a young woman with fair skin, short dark-brown hair, and dark-brown eyes. She has wavy locks on one side of her face, dyed with a gradient that starts as dark brown and transitions to caramel. She wears a long, cocoa-colored shirt with an upturned layered frill collar with a black single strapped waist cincher. She wears black trousers that have golden lining around the pocket and ribbons attached to the back of a golden zipper seam around her knees. A black golden studded belt is normally hidden by a large cocoa-colored belt with gun cartridges on the left side and a large golden crosshair buckle. A large piece of black fabric is attached to her belt hanging down on her right side. She wears a pair of dark black, high-heeled leather calf-high boots with golden buckles. Coco also dons a number of accessories, such as a bracelet with black roses as decoration; these are accompanied by black gloves and three beaded necklaces alongside a black scarf tied around her collar. She wears a black beret with a cocoa brown trim and a pair of black, wire-rimmed aviator sunglasses. She also has a black shoulder bag with gold studs, which is held by a bandolier strap. Breasts sizes: F-cup.
"I take it you and your team are all ready for your first mission?" Coco asked.
"More than you know, I'm itching for some shredding." Wolverine smirked.
"And me with the punching through monster stomachs!" Yang added exciting.
"Good, keep up with the positive moods and you should be okay with dealing some Grimms in." Coco advised.
"It's still a shame you all had to miss the Beacon dance." Ruby said.
"That's right, you first-years are just shadowing Huntsmen, so you should be fine." Velvet assured.
"We'll be on our best behavior." Wolverine promised.
"(Why do I suddenly feel worried when he said that?)" Weiss thought asked herself while looking at Wolverine.
"Coco, Velvet, are you two coming?" The fourth and final member of team CVFY asked them.
"We're coming, Fox." Velvet answered.
"Just giving our juniors a little peptalk before they go off on their first mission." Coco added.
"Alright, just wanted to be sure." Fox nodded.
Fox is a teenage boy with dark skin and dark, messy copper hair that has a long fringe and a cowlick. He wears a sleeveless, muted orange zipper vest with black lining and a high collar, a pair of black jeans, and brown, laced shoes. His eyes are pure white, showing that he is physically blind. His arms are covered in scars, and he has a vertical scar on his lips. He also wears a pair of long black gloves and has several pouches attached to his belt.
"(This guy is blind but must be a fierce blind fighter if he's in Beacon as a second year.)" Wolverine thought surprised, this reminds him of this one blind old lady he knew.
"Be safe, you all!" Velvet said.
"And if you need any "bonding time" me and Velvet are your girls." Coco winked before leaving.
"What exactly did she mean by that?" Ruby confused.
"We'll learn after we get through our mission." Wolverine promised.
"Let just try to be cautious, you never know what could be out there besides Grimm." Weiss stated.
"We can do this. We've never backed down before, and we're not going to start now." Ruby said with strong confident and belief in her team.
"Right." Blake smiled.
"Never pulled my claws away from any bitches neither bad guys nor Grimms, they're gonna get the wild Hell of a lifetime." Wolverine smirked and crossed his arms with his claws out.
"Besides, it won't only be us out there! We'll be fighting alongside a genuine Huntsman!" Ruby excited.
"Yeah! Bring on the adventure!" Yang shouted of excitement.
(One Walk to Bullhead Later)
"Why, hello girls and young man! Who's ready to fight for their lives?" The Huntsman greeted.
Team RWWBY are completely stunned of seeing someone they had not expected to be assigned for their team, maybe with Professor Peter Port it would make sense considered the guy who always talk about his younger days of fighting Grimms and going on adventures.
But never in their wildest dream would they expect of getting their history teacher as the Huntsman they'll be shadowing.
"You're not drinking coffee right now, are you?" Wolverine asked.
"Of course not, I never even drink coffee." Bartholomew Oobleck assured with a smile.
Bartholomew Oobleck is a man with messy green hair and brown eyes. He wears a white shirt partially tucked into his dark-green pants and its collar raised, showing a slack yellow tie, along with mismatched brown and black shoes. He also has round glasses that appear to be opaque. Under his clothes is a ong brown great coat, a khaki buttoned safari shirt and a pith helmet. He also carries a rather large backpack.
"Professor Oobleck?" Weiss puzzled.
"Yes, I'm afraid those bags won't be necessary, girls, seeing as you've opted to shadow a Huntsman on what is now essentially a reconnaissance mission. I can assure you; we will not be establishing a single base of operations; rather, we will be traversing several miles of hazardous wasteland and making camp in any defendable locations we may stumble upon. I packed all of our essentials myself, plotted our air course, and readied the airship." Oobleck explained before turning to Weiss.
"And…" Oobleck zoomed to up close to her face. "It's Doctor Oobleck. I didn't earn the PhD for fun, thank you very much!" He said before zooming away.
Weiss looks to Blake as the two are equally disturbed from this while Yang and Ruby are weirded out as well.
"Gotta say, you just surprise us big time that you're the Huntsman we'll be shadowing." Wolverine commented.
"Well, let just say you're not the first ones." Oobleck said pushing back his glasses.
"Come now, children; according to my schedule, we are already three minutes behind... schedule!" Oobleck zoomed towards the Bullhead.
"Well, time we head out." Wolverine said walking to the Bullhead.
"You're not freaked out that our history teacher is going on a mission with us?" Yang asked causing Wolverine to stop.
"I figured all the staff members are Huntsmen and Huntresses, meaning he's one of them too. Now I get to see how he earned himself that title." Wolverine said.
"Well, guess we can try save the world with Doctor Oobleck." Ruby shrugged.
"Save the world?" Nora called out as team JNPR are walking up to them.
"You're going on world-saving missions without us? I'm hurt... sad!" Nora looked sad, and then her stomach rumbles.
"Maybe a little hungry? That last one's not your fault, though, Ren..." Nora glared at Ren who turn his head and crossed his arms.
"Sounds exciting. Where ya going?" Jaune asked.
"Oh, just outside the kingdom." Ruby answered nervously.
"We're going to beat up some Grimms." Wolverine added.
"Hey! We're going outside the kingdom too!" Nora informed exciting.
"Ren and Nora wanted to shadow the sheriff of a nearby village." Pyrrha explained.
"We set out tomorrow." Ren said.
"Then you can party with us tonight!" Neptune said as he and Sun are walking up to them to wish team RWWBY good luck on their mission.
"We're shadowing a crime specialist. All inner-city detectives stuff. We get junior badges." Neptune explained which got Jaune awestruck about the badges.
"Just don't become one of those bastard cops that let's crime get away for money and other shit." Wolverine advised.
"Like Hell we're gonna let that happen!" Sun assured with smirk and the tiny serious in his eyes.
"We normally go to the city with you guys, which means stuff's always exploding and junk, so we thought this might be a better way to check out the kingdom when it's, you know... normal." Sun said.
But when Wolverine was about to say something, Oobleck calls to them from the airship.
"Four minutes, children!"
"Time to go." Wolverine said.
"Hold it right there." Jen said walking up to Wolverine.
Jen gets close to Wolverine and lifts him up from his feet and to her face that she kisses him right on the lips shocking everyone, except Yang who was more excited than shock.
"Better come back alive." Jen winked before dropping Wolverine and walks away.
"Whoa!" Wolverine stunned of what just happened.

Team RWWBY are about to head out for their first mission as Hunters in training to get the experience out on the field, and their history teacher is coming with them. Wolverine was very surprised when She-Hulk gave him a big kiss on the lips before leaving, certainly didn't see that coming.
