Mobile Suit Gundam: reawakening of a legacy

Chapter 10. Japan the rising sun, I.S Academy, blinded superiority

In the ocean the Zion forces are seen thinking about a plan on how to get into Japan so they can destroy the Pegasus ship that is there in the country.

Zion Captain: we need to come up with a plan to get in there.

Zion Soldier: sir, we can send some of our people in there so they can know more about the situation and where the ship is located at.

Zion Captain: hmmm… that could work, however you must make sure to not look suspicious other wise they will be more alert and strengthen security.

Zion soldier: sir, we won't let you down.

The soldier leaves to get ready for the mission to infiltrate Japan and locate the Pegasus ship they are hunting for.

(Scene change)

In the harbor in Tokyo the Pegasus ship is seen docked and its crew comes out to greet the military Japan commander, who wishes to have a talk with Bright about the situation that the crew are in, the civilians that were with them finally get the chance to leave the military ship and head on home to there families but before they left a little girl gives Yushai a paper flower as thank you for protecting them.

Little girl: here mister.

Yushai: oh? Thank you.

(Final Fantasy 13-2 – new Bowdum)

The civilians soon left and headed into the city so they can head on home, meanwhile captain Bright is seen talking with Japanese military commander.

Japan commander: looks like you all had a difficult time.

Bright: we have but somehow we survived this long.

Japan: looks like it, we are going to try and repair the ship while you all are here, this was an order from the federation.

Bright: thank you sir.

Japan commander: your welcome, also can you tell Ms Omimura that the academy wishes to contact her its very important.

Bright: is it that important?

Japan commander: well… let's say the staff has been getting some problems.

Bright: ?

Meanwhile with the others they all got in some busses to look around Tokyo and they are amazed by how incredible it is, then they boarded the train that will take them to I.S Academy where females go to train in the use of the exoskeleton that can only be piloted by women, after a few minutes they arrived at the academy.

Yushai: so that's the academy it looks really beautiful.

Kensuke: and it's a big campus as well.

Shinji: I'm confused, why did Ms Omimura wanted us to go with her to the place she works at?

Toji: that does sound like a good question, and we still didn't get the chance to see our families yet.

Hikari: I hope there okay.

Joshua: don't worry kid I'm sure they are okay.

Shinji: mine are always busy, it's just me and my sister always at home by ourselves.

Yushai: my family is back in America, I hope things are going well for them.

(Fire Emblem 3H - Gaargh mach monastery)

Soon the train arrived at the academy and the crew looks around the academy grounds of course many of the girls looks at them especially at males.

Yushai: this place is making me very uncomfortable.

Kensuke: I understand that this place is for girls but still why did we come here?

Joshua: I believe we are to stay here until the ship is repaired.

Toji: I hope they fix it soon.

Meanwhile at the office, Chifuyu and Maya were not having a good time as some of the staff wants to show how superior the I.S is against mobile suits and they want to challenge the new model that the federation made, Chifuyu think this is stupid and pointless as she sees that they just want an excuse to fight against the Gundam.

Maya: well… it looks like captain Bright is not going to be happy.

Chifuyu: no he isn't… *sigh*

Back with Yushai and the others they continue to look around until they run into the only male that is in school and who can pilot the I.S.

?: sorry I was in a hurry.

Yushai: it's okay we are just looking around the school and everything.

?: I see, well my name is Ichika Omimura, nice to meet you all. Kensuke: wait did you say you are Ichika? As in the only male who can use the I.S in the world!?

Ichika: uhhh yeah that is me…

Yushai and the others go silent on this awkward situation, a boy who is the only one that can pilot the I.S, in a school that is full of girls who is trying to use that same machine. To everyone this feels like a harem protagonist can of thing, most males would be extremely lucky and happy to have but in reality it's more like a nightmare, soon Bright comes in and he wasn't happy not one bit.

Yushai: caption Bright?

Bright: …

Shinji: um sir? Is there something wrong?

Joshua: … I think I might know what is going on…

Bright: Mr Nui… go and pilot the Gundam.

Yushai: ? What?

(Scene change)

At the arena everyone is seen awaiting for the event to start, Bright is seen next to the crew who noticed how upset he is about this situation, until they finally realized what is happening.

Toji: wait are these people trying to prove something?

Joshua: *sigh* yes they are, there trying to prove how superior the I.S is, and what better way to show it by defeating the Gundam.

Shinji: what? But this looks like bullying.

Kensuke: yeah and there's a war going on.

Joshua: I know how you feel guys, but this is the current situation we are all in, most of the women who are arrogant in the militaries want to use the I.S in the war so they can win.

Maya: Mr Joshua it sound like you saw the I.S battle against the mobile suit.

Joshua: …

Chifuyu: Mr Joshua what exactly happened.

Joshua: … it was some years ago in the early parts of the war, a small bunch of I.S pilots went out to prove there so called superiority against the enemy, I went out in a jet fighter to stop them but they chose not to listen… they opened fire on them.

Chifuyu: I heard about the incident as well… it didn't go the way they thought it would be.

Maya: Chifuyu ? What happened?

Chifuyu: …

Bright: … the I.S pilots… were KIA.

Maya: !? But that's impossible… the I.S is…

Joshua: Ms Maya… humanity has always advanced and evolved in order to survive, sooner or later something was going to be made to do things that the I.S can't do or lacking in.

Maya: … but why is it that the government didn't say anything about it?

Chifuyu: the government chose to hide it so no body can know what happened that day… and what was left of the bodies couldn't be recovered…

Everyone in the crew went silent upon hearing that, then the Gundam which is using the Aile pack lands in the stadium, the crew noticed a lot of I.S pilots looking down at the mobile suit believing it will become junk in this battle, soon the opponent revealed themselves it was Cecilia the representative of England, all of the females cheers for her as some savior, Ichika and his friends looks at the Gundam and wonders how this battle will go.

(Final Fantasy 13 – Blinded by light)

Cecilia: so this is the weapon that the government decided to use is it?

Yushai: … oh boy. Are all I.S pilots like this?

Cecilia: well.

Cecilia points her sniper rifle at the Gundam with an arrogant pose and prepares to fire at him, the match began and the Gundam moved immediately and fires its own rifle at Cecilia who got hit by it which made her upset as she tries to shot at him but Yushai made sure to keep moving while shooting at the same time making it difficult for the I.S pilot which is starting to get more upset.

Ichika: what is going on Cecilia isn't land a hit on him.

Houki: but he is getting hits in though.

Rin: is that pilot a veteran or something?

Charlotte: if he is one then that means…

Laura: she's going to lose.

The crew watch the match as well seeing that Yushai is not taking any chances to give Cecilia breathing room or to counter attack against him, Joshua and Chifuyu both know that Yushai has been fighting against many enemies during there travels along with fighting against Blaze, which means one thing that Cecilia has little chances to win.

Cecilia: I had enough of this! Let's see you avoid this!

Cecilia sends out her drones to attack the Gundam and over whelm it but Yushai's instincts kick in as he fires vulcans and using the saber to destroy them all quickly which he does, this completely shocked all of the I.S Academy students even Ichika and his friends can't believe what just happened, Cecilia on the other hand was now completely scared as the Gundam walks towards her as if it's a demon out to get her, she fires her rifle at the mobile suit but the small beam bounced off its armor showing that nothing she does will help her, this leaves her with no other choice.

Cecilia: I … I surrender.

Yushai: *sigh*

The match ended and many of the I.S pilots had there pride shattered and most were angered by this and wanted revenge for this humiliation.

(End of music)

Meanwhile at a different location that is at a harbor two aquatic mobile suits are seen and two Zion soldiers gets ready for there mission.

Zion soldier: we made it.

Zion soldier 2: let's go and infiltrate Japan and locate the Pegasus ship.

Zion soldier: the others should be here soon.

Zion soldier 2: then we better get everything ready for this mission.

The two setup the signal for the rest to come and begin there mission.

Then everything fades to black.

To Gojira: thank you, and you are right there will be many Xenoblade characters in the next volume, yup that is right the colonies were made to prepare for extraterrestrial that might come to earth additionally they were also made for when overpopulation was starting to happen, and some of the I.S pilots fought against Zion mobile suits but sadly they were killed when they underestimated them, oh you can bet that Blaze is going to be weeding the spies out one after another.
