Kelly's

JJ got up and made breakfast for his gran, wanting to do something nice. He had also been so happy since he got engaged. He was flipping the pancakes when Jake walked into the kitchen.

"Jake, what are you doing here?" JJ asked him as he realized he would need to make a few more pancakes.

"I'll let your grandma tell you. I can get out of here if you want to spend some times with her." Jake replied to JJ. He didn't want to intrude.

"Please join us, I know you've been a great friend to gran over the years." JJ had recently suspected that friendship had turned into more again but he wasn't about to gossip. He was in the mind that if they wanted him to know they would tell him.

Rose walked into the kitchen and saw the two men in there. "Joey, Jake, good morning." She smiled at them both. Rose looked at Jake, the two of them had talked about letting people know they were trying again and to Rose this was the most important person. "JJ, I just wanted to let you know that Jake and I are seeing each other."

JJ looked up from the stove and smiled. "That's wonderful, gran. I want you to be happy and I know Jake's a good guy. Hell if he hadn't talked you into coming back here dad wouldn't have suggested I come visit."

Rose smiled and went over to give JJ a hug. "It really did work out. We've had some sad times, some scary times but a lot of good times and more to come."

JJ hugged his grandmother back. "Dad would be very happy for you." He whispered.

Rose's eyes teared up. Joe would have been the first person she told, he was more than her stepson, he was a best friend. She missed him so much. "Thank you for that."

JJ reached out his hand to shake Jake's. "Be good to her."

Jake nodded, he had every intention of treating Rose good. "We have another chance, I'm not going to waste it."

"I know the feeling." JJ replied before going back to cooking. "You two go out and I'll bring breakfast to you when it's done."

The Scorpio Townhouse

Holly was up bright and early with Seana, today was the day they were planning on moving over to the house and she wanted it to be special. Jayne had helped make breakfast as Robert came downstairs.

"Well if it isn't three of my favorite ladies." Robert smiled seeing all of them at the table.

Seana jumped up and ran over to Robert.

Robert scooped her up. "My favorite greeting. How are you, babe?"

"Hungry!" Seana told him.

Robert laughed and carried her over to the table. He gave Holly a kiss. "I think someone is ready for breakfast."

"We are having some french toast today." Jayne told them as she got Seana's ready.

Holly sat down at the table with Robert. "Seana is staying with us while they move more stuff over. Do you need to go to work?" Holly asked him.

"I think I can handle things from home today. I want to spend some time with my girls." Robert wanted to spend as much time with Seana especially since he knew this would be a bit of an adjustment.

"I told them they could take the beds, I know we are planning a little remodeling." Holly told Robert, knowing they were planning on a hot tub.

Robert knew exactly what she was talking about. "Yes, yes we are." He grinned and kissed her cheek.
