JJ met Robert and Holly at the airport and took them back to their hotel room.
"Annie told me she's doing fine. Barry has been in contact, too." JJ told him as he took a seat.
"Barry will make sure no one hurts her, you can trust him." Holly reassured JJ. Barry was the only family member she cared about these days.
"I know that." JJ told Holly, Barry had been nothing but helpful with this whole mission. "Annie is doing most of the work, I don't need them to see me and get suspicious." JJ actually hated having to lay low but had complete faith in Annie.
"I know we both would love to be more involved too but we have to handle this mission very carefully." Robert stayed calm. He knew what Jayne was capable of and he also had complete trust in Annie and Barry.
The Durbans
Barry had gone to check on Jayne. "Are you okay?" He asked her.
Jayne nodded, she knew what she was doing. "I just don't want to speak bad about people I love dearly but I know that's why I'm here to protect them."
"And I'm going to do my best to protect you. You and Holly are my family. You know even Robert is warming up to me." Barry whispered, he was surprised about by that,
"Well, who can blame him? You are always there for two of the people he loves the most in this world, and you mean the world to both of us." Jayne gave Barry a hug, she had missed him. She never doubted he was on her side.
Barry hugged Jayne tight. "I love you. Try to get some sleep, tomorrow might be a little crazy."
Barry left the room and Jayne laid down, hoping she could get some sleep and play this role tomorrow. She was surprised at how much Alistair was buying into it but also worried that he was conning her.
