Why do people do
Some of the things they do
Maybe it's all because
They received a miscue

It takes effort to take action
It's easier to do nothing
To just sit back and watch
Leaves one with their hands to wring

Things don't get done
By thinking about them
They want to hear praise
While others they want to condemn

Some are willing to work hard
Others want everything to be easy
They do things that are sleazy
Leaving them to feel somewhat queasy

No one wants to be dominated
Or take another's poison
Everyone had the right to choose
