Thankfully Hermione had the sense to put an umbrella like charm over their heads before they landed...right in Hua Tuo's courtyard.
Bao Yileng heaved next to her and she fought the instinct to pat his back she wouldn't put it past him to act in instinct after the surprise teleportation. She very much would like to keep her limbs intact, thank you.
The chuckle of her Master had her levitating the still sick Bao Yileng to the safety of the house's covering.
"The first time is always the hardest." He spoke down at the man that looked slowly up still looking a little green.
"A test, really, Master? You would risk losing your student and orphaning five children for a test?"
"I knew you were extraordinary, Wen XiaoXiao or should I say Hermione Granger."
Hermione rolled her eyes heavenward, as if praying for patience with this old man. A test to see that she was prepared for anything instead of simply giving her coordinates to the inside of his home.
"I have wards around my home. I saw no point adding you to them if I was going to leave."
"What's going on?" The hoarse voice of Bao Yileng spoke up.
Master Tuo just smiled, "The woman you have been looking for Heir Bao is an old soul. Having lived three lives. She lived as Wen XiaoXiao til her death, was reborn and then remembered her previous life as Hermione Granger a new blood mage of great power. The perfect new student for me."
Hermione chuckled, "Wait til you meet Holly perhaps you'll wish for her as your student."
"I won't easily throw away the brightest witch of her age."
"Well thank you." Hermione responded sarcastically only to let out a laugh as the ancient master stuck his tongue out at her.
Hermione was nervous to see what emotions might be playing on Bao Yileng's face only to give a start as she heard a gasp of wonder.
"You are truly magnificent." A pause, "That's how you knew about the world change."
Hermione nodded, "It's a full blown apocalypse actually. We will need to make sure we build a strong unit against what's to come and protect our families." Turning to the master, "Have you gotten everything?"
"Yes, your friend Mipsy has been most helpful." He looked around the barren room before giving a sigh, "Let's go."
Hermione held her hand out to the old master and Bao Yileng, "Hold on tight."
Bao Yileng looked nervous but held on, his firm almost painfully tight before Hermione apparated the three of them back to home.
Well she thought home base for now. Even if she didn't agree with a quick marriage to Bao Yileng she did think it would be smart for him and his family to form a home base until a larger base could be created.
