Beginning of the chapter has the best example of an existing problem I see daily. When you mention some in the fleet unhappy about being on the other side of the Prime Directive, that should have been a red flag to Starfleet to watch them. The rules are great as long as you are on the winning side, however how you react when you are not speaks volumes.

Keep up the good work, really like the story so far. Just curious with the hinting at the friendship forming between Kushina and the new introduced Captain D'tarde, how will this pan out in the future if the story continues on close to standard Star Trek timeline with the Federation-Klingon war starting in a few years. This would be getting into the nitpicking on timeline as I think the Vor'cha class was introduced around 2367 with seeing general duties by 2369 and the war started in 2372, so somewhere between 3-5 years to before the war starts. This would be enough time to complete Starfleet academy and maybe get some promotions as well. Here is an idea from out of the blue. Have Kushina and family being transported on the Enterprise for some reason, such as going to Earth to join the academy and be present during the the event of The Best of Both Worlds, with the battle of Wolf 359 and such. Be interesting to see what impact she could have if she went with them onto the Cube as she was trained in physical attacks, something we do not see Borg being able to defend against.

The official Star date That the story starts at is 2355, the same year that Jake Sisko Is born, Which puts Naruto at the same age. And I'm going to be frank with you I thought the Vor'cha class was introduced earlier in the timeline when I first mentioned it. That's why I stated that it was a prototype ship. This way we could have a very early iteration of the Vor'cha without breaking the timeline too much.

Chapter 5: Pranking Queen From Hell And Birthday Boy

Star Date: 2355

Commander Stoyer was in charge of the station that hosted the Star Fleet entrance Test. He was also in charge of running the test. For some reason, Two grown women wanted to join Starfleet which wasn't against any rules of any sort just odd. But when Those two women had made an absolute mockery of the test In the most unbelievable ways, He could not help but feel like he should start pulling out his hair. It didn't help that Admiral Blackwell overseed the test herself which was originally surprising and a little nerve-wracking. But it was made quickly obvious that Admiral Blackwell was only here to pull up a metaphorical bowl of popcorn And watch the chaos.

The first test was a written exam that ran perfectly. It tested the applicant's knowledge on every single topic that Starfleet was involved in. The two women Kushina Uzumaki and Kimiko had passed that with flying colors. Which was extremely surprising, but not unwelcomeed. But it was the next test That thing started to get fucking weird. The test was meant to test their multitasking capabilities. The testes were put in a high-stress situation and expected to Operate multiple stations in their area. Kimiko who seemed to be practically born to multitask had simply used her nine tails to do every task by herself. Kushina had done something totally unexpected, she fucking cloned herself. Like what the fuck, how in the 9 circles of fucking hell did she do that. She was stripped of technology and when he asked Admiral Blackwell she only said that it was one of her people's various abilities and not to put any thought into it. The complete nonchalance and amusement That the Admiral had for this situation, made it seem like the Admiral was enjoying his suffering. Which, now that he thought about it she probably was.

The next test, tested their negotiation skills. The two (Individually) were put in a room with a bunch of volunteers who were supposed to be arguing about a border dispute and their task was to settle it. Kushina had settled it in 5 minutes flat showing off her Clans Uncanny capability of negotiation and settling disputes. Admiral Blackwell was not surprised about this either since she had Been given the history of her clan on her home planet. The Uzumaki for centuries acted as mediators and a neutral party and every Clan head and Maine branch member was taught from a very young age how to settle such matters. Now being Aware of this the Commander decided to up the difficulty of the test for Kimiko. Which she immediately noticed. The woman sat in her chair for 5 minutes meditating. And then with those five minutes individuals who were debating heavily up to that point had calmed down until they were 100% level-headed. The volunteers had described it as them not capable of feeling anger for a short time and felt more at peace around the woman. She then started to settle the dispute with logic and sound reasoning which ended up settling it.

The next test was a test of their combat skills in close quarters which unsurprisingly they had Passed with flying colors. The two held back immensely against their instructors. But the fact that they moved so fast before the instructors could react and chop them on the back of the neck and ended the fight as quickly as possible was honestly a shock for the Commander. The final test was a psych test meant to test somebody's fears and see if they could push past it. This test became completely useless since every scenario that they tried to psych them out they saw through it Instantly and knew that it was a test. Admiral Blackwell guessed trying to trick a ninja of their caliber was a stupid idea on their part. Making a decision the Admiral decided to mark them as past, And attached a note to that section with it saying, "We couldn't trick them. But I passed them anyway." At least Jocelyn Uzumaki (who had only started learning how to tap into her chakra, and did not have the skills needed to be on par with the other two.) Had every single One of her tests go normally like Any other applicant. She passed as well though which wasn't surprising At this point.

After that, they were shipped off to Earth on a transport ship. Kushina had Snuck off the ship multiple times using Hiraishin to pop back to the station to drink with Her new Klingon friend before he had to leave. The two sparring was extremely fun as hell even though she had to put A chakra-suppressing seal and resistant seals on herself to make it enjoyable for her. When the captain of the transport ship caught wind of this, to say he was shocked was an understatement. He had demanded her to stay on board the ship for the rest of their Journey which Kushina did not mind doing. D'tarda Had left the station anyway, but anytime he was there he promised to contact her, so she could pop over and have a drink with him. And there was no way she was going to pass up an opportunity to go party with the Klingons. They were extremely fun Even though she had to bash some heads in a couple of times when some of the Klingons tried to get handsy. Which ended up going into a fun ass brawl, And unlike some people, she knew Klingons did not hold a grudge when they lost to a woman.

When they finally got to Earth, to say Kushina was quite amazed was an understatement. The planet was extremely beautiful and had a sense of peace that she knew her ancestors longed for. Perhaps one day her home planet will be like this. Jocelyn had brought her over to her clan district in Japan. Seeing other Uzumaki's around made Kushina's heart sore. And although the housings looked traditional in the compound they had the modern-day appliances that every household had. The lot of the Uzumaki's including the elders of the clan had extreme amounts of curiosity for her. She did not mind giving the elders a copy of the book that held a very long and well-detailed account of (her planet's) Uzumaki Clan history. To say that it was a shock was an understatement. An Uzumaki clan of the main branch had existed on another planet and had maintained their warrior Traditions even till today was quite a shock to them. Some questioned what she was saying was true. But after one of the elders had pulled out a painting of one of their Clan leaders which remarkably had an uncanny resemblance to kushna, was when they had no choice but to believe her. It didn't help that she had the same attitude and drive as any Uzumaki.

It was when she started explaining chakra and what it could do was win things started to get out of hand. Every single Uzumaki in the clan compound had grown fascinated with the art of Fūinjutsu and showed up to her lessons on chakra like a moth to a flame. Kushina guess she shouldn't be surprised they were Uzumaki's and this stuff was like catnip for them. She only had one month of teaching them in person before she finally started the academy so she made every second count. Although she was determined to send a shadow clone every day while she was in the academy To continue teaching them.

A month went by quickly though and her first day at the Academy was finally here. She was placed in the dormitories with a roommate. Who was a Vulcan woman that after 5 minutes of meeting, she wanted to strangle already? The girl had made comments about her age and had done everything to test her patience. It was why she was the first victim in a long list of them to be pranked. It was hilarious to see the proud Vulcan Girl Have to deal with her hair being bright pink for a month. Kushina could tell that the Vulcan was Attempting To suppress her annoyance and doing it successfully throughout the whole month of having her hair pink. Which was a little disappointing but at least she was never bothered by that woman again. She had a good head on her shoulders, if she was able to pick up the fact that she won't be pranked as long as she didn't piss her off.

But on the first day of class, a problem that she didn't consider finally struck her. She had read way too far ahead in her studies and was way too eager to learn what she could and pass the exam. Now she knew everything that was going to be taught in the Bloody Academy. But she could brush up on other topics while she was here. It was why after the second day of class she started Reading up on other topics that interested her. But the teacher got really pissed at her for that. It was only after she answered several Questions on various topics of study without looking up from her book, was when the teacher finally gave up and let her do her own thing. Although Throughout the first 3 months she did get some questions pointed towards her to make sure they knew she knew most of the topic.

The teachers chalked it up to her age since she was a lot older than the Academy students at her current level. But this was not always the case for some other classes like tactics, formations, and Starship maneuvers. Which she started to struggle with at first causing her to start using clones just to keep her grades at the top of the class. Tactics and formations were nothing new to Kushina it was just the protocols that came with such tactics and maneuvers that really tripped her up. It also did not help that most of her experience was fighting on the ground and up close and personal. so having to Command a Starship and think with a different mindset was difficult for her. This forced her to adapt, change her entire mindset, and how she thought when entering a battle scenario. That didn't stop her though from thinking outside the box and pulling off crazy shit in the simulators.

Seriously some of the teachers Were Somehow in a mixture of being impressed and terrified. Like who the fuck would think of weaponizing their impulse reactor by turning it into a fucking mine to destroy a Klingon cloaked vessel that was pursuing them. The answer was, Kushina Obviously.

"Her argument was simple. You gave me a ship with not enough Firepower to defeat my foe. You gave me three engines I only need two to be fast enough to stay ahead of him, so what's the deal." that explanation was a little terrifying especially when the trend continued.

Especially when they put her in the legendary Kobayashi Maru scenario and she somehow Beat It, and unlike Kirk she didn't cheat. Her ship was completely wrecked and had to limp all the way back to the repair yard. But she was able to save the crew before they had to exit the neutral zone. Who would thought of using well-time micro warp jumps to keep out of range of the Klingon vessels as they beam up the injured crew? And rigging their five shuttles into unmanned suicide bombers. All filled with enough warp coolant and photon torpedoes, so When they detonated they would saturate the area with enough energetic plasma to prevent any of the ships from cloaking or entering the area without their engine stalling.

When there was an investigation to see if she did cheat, she was brought in for questioning. She admitted to Thinking about it being a ninja and all, but what would be the fun in that? She asked if cheating was actually part of the test and if you needed to cheat to pass. They admitted that the test was supposed to be impossible to beat and the only one who ever beat it had to cheat to do it. She could not help but laugh at it. Yeah, she could see how it would be impossible to pass if a bunch of greenhorns were put in that scenario. But she's been put in that scenario Many times in her life and she still kicking Ass and taking names. After that though a lot of the students didn't like being shown up and started to act against her in any way. This was when her true pranking spree began and where she had shown this fine Institute that she was the pranking queen from hell. It was only after her first year in the academy that everybody had finally got in the message not to fuck with her. Seriously it took the numbskulls way too long to get that message. And she still knew when the next year started she was going to have to remind them why she was the pranking queen from hell once More.

Star Date: 2356 October 10th Star Base 24

Kushina had teleported back to the station after visiting the Uzumaki Clan compound for an hour or two for Naruto's birthday. She had friends at the station with kids who were Naruto's age. D'tarda had come to the station with his wife and daughter who was only a few months older than her little Naruto. Although apparently, Klingons don't celebrate birthdays. But since his mate was a human, Morgana (His mate) had insisted. Apparently, she was the daughter of the current Klingon ambassador to the Federation. The two had met when her father Came to Kronos and his house had volunteered to host them for a couple of years. It was long enough for the two to fall in love. Morgana was a spirited woman and a real firecracker. It was odd how similar Kushina and Morgana were in personality. Kushina expected her daughter Evelyn (which apparently the two had a dual over on deciding her name) would be exactly like her mother.

Lieutenant K'Mori was bringing her daughter K'Neko, but unfortunately, her husband Lieutenant Dru couldn't make it since he had to be on duty at that time. Kushina had made various dishes from her Homeland. However, she had to make some substitutes since some of the herbs and spices only existed on her home planet. This caused her to improvise on some of the dishes. At least she had help from the other two wives With cooking. And managed to pick up some recipes for Klingon and Caitian dishes. The three children were placed in a playpen together After the children ate and Naruto had Opened his gifts, Which were a stuffed cat and targ.

Allowing the adults to eat and catch up. Kushina had somehow convinced D'tarda to try some Ramen which she made spicy since she learned that Klingons had a more of a liking to Stronger tasting food. After the first bite, he did not stop and practically consumed it quickly before getting up and Gathering seconds. This ended up in the two having an eating contest on how many bowls of ramen they could eat which his wife joined. It was a good thing she made a lot. Kushina had obviously won with Morgana coming in second.

In The Playpen

Naruto was watching his mom jug the good-smelling stuff that he had eaten earlier like it was nothing. As well as bottles of a red stuff that the forehead man had brought. Although he could not understand why they were doing it in the first place. His adolescent mind was quickly distracted by a tug on his new furry toy that the strange man with the strange forehead had given him. It was the other girl who had a similar strange forehead trying to pull it away from him. Naruto in response pulled back not willing to give away his fluffy new toy. This ended up turning into a tug of war with the kitty girl joining in. Naruto babbled and giggled at the fun thing the three were doing, with the two others also giggling. Eventually, it kind of got out of hand and the three had started to wrestle. well, the closest thing to wrestling that one-year-olds could do. It was initiated by the forehead girl and the two just simply joined in. What was weird though was their parents somehow cheering at them for some reason. Whatever they were cheering for naruto had no intention of letting his mama down.

Back Outside The Playpen

The second that Kushina had seen her son taking on the other two girls like a champ she started cheering. She was drunk along with the rest of the adults thanks to the blood wine that her Klingon friend and his wife had brought. Somehow it turned into a betting pool on who would get the toy. Naruto ended up winning, but before she could collect her winnings Naruto gave the two toys to the two after seeing their upset expressions. Which, the four adults decided it would be a tie and no one won the bet. Although the three women did make a note of Naruto's actions. And unknown to the three women all three of them had started scheming to get them together somehow. D'tarda somehow sensing this looked at the three women and then at Naruto before thinking to himself.

'Good luck kid, you're going to need it.'
