Hello, I'm MarvelDC528. After four years of reading fanfiction stories, I've decided to try writing one myself.

This story is a crossover between Arrow and Angel. It is inspired by Aragorn II Elessar's story "A Devil in the City of Angels," so thank you to him.

Timeline wise, for Arrow, it is set three weeks after the events of Arrow 2x23. For Angel, it will be set at the start of Angel Season 2.

I also have an announcement. I'm sure that you all have heard that Michelle Trachtenberg, who was known for playing Dawn Summers in Buffy the Vampire Slayer Seasons 5-7, passed away recently. At first, I was going to just dedicate this first chapter to her, but now I've decided to dedicate this entire story to her.

Now, time to get this story going. Here we go.

Starling City, Night

In a warehouse near the docks, several men were putting items in crates as one man, their leader, looked around with his arms crossed.

"Hurry up. Those crates aren't going to move themselves." The leader snapped impatiently. "Do I need to remind you that we're on a tight schedule here?"

The rest of the men nodded or mumbled "Yes." At that moment, an arrow flew past and hit the ground. As the men looked at it, they noticed that it was beeping before it suddenly exploded, sending some of them to the ground. The others looked up to see where the arrow came from. As they look up they see the shooter. It's a man dressed in green with a hood over his head lowering a compact bow and if they looked carefully, he was wearing a green domino mask over his eyes. Everyone's eyes widened as they realized who this intruder was.

It was silent for a moment before the intruder spoke up. "You have failed this city!" Oliver Queen, aka the Arrow shouted out to the whole room.

It was then that the men raised their guns at the Arrow and started firing. The Arrow jumped before any of the bullets could hit him while at the same time, pulled two arrows from his quiver and notched them into his bow. He fired, getting two guys in the shoulder. They groaned in pain as they went down. As he landed, the Arrow quickly took out another arrow and fired, getting another thug in leg.

The Arrow then charged at the remaining thugs and engaged them in close combat. He punched one thug in the gut and then punched him in the face, knocking him out. He then did a spinning kick to another thug and then shot an arrow at another.

While he was busy fighting, one thug was behind him and pulled out a gun and aimed it at the Arrow. However, before he could fire, a red arrow flew out and struck him in the back of the shoulder, causing him to drop the gun and cry out in pain. Everyone turned around to see who fired the shot. They saw the Arrow's teammate, Roy Harper, wearing his red hoodie and a red domino mask to cover his eyes, lowering his bow. Roy and the Arrow nodded at each other before Roy rushed in to join the fight.

Roy engaged three thugs. Roy fired an arrow at the first thug, getting him in the shoulder. As he went down, the second thug pulled out a knife and swung it at Roy. Roy blocked the knife with his bow and they struggled for a bit. Roy then moved right but as he did, the thug was able to slash his arm. Roy winced in pain before he dropped him and blitzed the thug by kicking him in the chest. He then delivered a series of swift punches, a technique that Oliver had taught him, to his stomach and then finished by elbowing him in the face.

Roy was about to get his bow before the third thug rushed him. Roy blocked his punches, but was forced to raise his arms in order to defend himself. As the thug continued to punch him, Roy had an idea. Before the thug could throw his next punch, Roy stomped on his foot, causing him to wince in pain. While the thug was distracted, Roy pulled out an arrow from his quiver and stabbed the thug in the shoulder. The thug cried out in pain and Roy then headbutted him, finally knocking him out.

Meanwhile, the Arrow was just finishing up his fight. He had taken out most of the thugs and now there were only five left. The Arrow pulled out an arrow and fired at one thug. The arrow then exploded into a cable, causing it to tie up the thug. He then pulled out two more arrows and fired them at another thug, getting him in the shoulder and leg. Two thugs then rushed at him, but he was able to use his bow like an escrima stick and whacked one of them in the face and another him the gut before he kicked him in the chest. With both of them out, there was only the leader remaining.

The leader pulled out a gun but the Arrow fired first and knocked the gun out of his hand. The leader then ran over and punched him. The Arrow then fought back as he dropped his bow and grabbed the leader by the shoulder. The Arrow kneed him in the chest, causing him to groan in pain. The Arrow then shoved him back and fired an arrow at his shoulder, pinning him to the wall.

As the Arrow walked over to him, he called out to Roy. "Check the crates," he ordered. Roy nodded as he went to inspect one of the crates. Roy opened the lid of the crate and had a look of surprise and horror on his face.

"Hey, you better come take a look at this," he called out. The Arrow walked over to see what was inside. When he looked, he was surprised by what he saw. Inside the crates were what looked like very sophisticated assault rifles, probably military grade. There were enough weapons in these crates to start a war.

The Arrow then went back to the leader as he glared at him. "Where did you get these weapons?" he growled, his voice modulated to hide his identity.

"Screw you," the leader sneered at him.

Not in the mood for games, the Arrow grabbed the arrow in the leader's shoulder and twisted it, causing him to cry out in pain. "I won't ask you again. Now, where did you get these weapons?!" he demanded.

After a few seconds, the leader couldn't take it anymore as he cried out, "Munson! Howard Munson!" The Arrow stopped twisting and looked at him.

"What do you mean?" he asked.

The leader breathed heavily from the pain and looking terrified, he continued talking. "His company makes the weapons and he sometimes secretly sells them to street gangs. All he asks in return is a cut of the profits."

"Where can I find him?" The Arrow asked.

The leader shook his head as he continued. "I've never seen him directly. He sent someone else to deal with me. I asked my guys to go verify where they came from so that's how I know his name. That's all I know, I swear!" he cried out fearfully.

It was quiet for a moment before the Arrow said, "Well if that's the case, then I'll deal with him. In the meantime," he stopped as he walked over and slugged the leader hard in the face, knocking him out. "Enjoy prison."

The Arrow turned to look at Roy when they heard police sirens wailing. They knew it was just a matter of time before the cops completely surrounded the place.

"Let's go." The Arrow ordered. Roy nodded at him as they both ran out of the warehouse. They got on their motorcycles and drove off as police cars arrived at the scene.

Arrow Lair

As they got back, Oliver and Roy both had their masks off as they put their bows on the racks.

As they did, John Diggle and Felicity Smoak turned around from where she was sitting at the computer and looked at them. "So, tonight was productive?" Felicity asked.

Oliver nodded as he walked to her. "It was. They were able to give me their supplier. Start looking up anything you can find on Howard Munson."

"Got it." Felicity said as she turned around and started typing on her keyboard. After a few seconds, she got a match. A picture of a Caucasian man in his forties popped up on the screen.

"Here he is," Felicity said as Oliver and Roy looked. "Howard Munson, founder and CEO of Munson Manufacturing. They make weapons for the military and sometimes PMCs."

Diggle narrowed his eyes. "Munson. That name sounds familiar." he said as he tried to remember where he heard it. Oliver's eyes lit up in realization.

"It should," Oliver said as he walked over and picked up an old looking notebook, one he never thought that he would see again. "Because his name is on the List."

At that moment, Diggle, Felicity, and Roy looked at him. Diggle and Felicity looked surprised while Roy looked confused. "Wait, the List? What list?" Roy asked.

Oliver looked at Roy and after a few seconds of contemplating, he decided to tell Roy the truth. "When I first started out as the Hood, I used a book that my father gave me," he said as he held up the List. "Inside it were the names of the people who were hurting the city and causing it to be in the state that it's in."

Roy looked at him and nodded in understanding before he asked, "Then why did you stop using it?" he asked, not judgmentally, but curiously.

Oliver sighed as he looked down. "I found out that all the names on the List were connected to Malcolm Merlyn and were contributing to his plans. After the Undertaking… I guess I just felt that it was all pointless because I couldn't stop Malcolm." he said in self-loathing as he remembered Tommy's death. Roy was going to speak up, but he saw the look on Oliver's face and decided not to, seeing that it was a sensitive subject.

Oliver then shook his head as he regained his composure. "Anyway, back to the task at hand. Munson?" Oliver looked at Felicity as he spoke. Felicity got back to her keyboard and started typing again.

"Well, this is interesting," Felicity said as the others gathered around. "Munson doesn't actually live in Starling City. He only really comes here for business."

Roy then spoke up. "If he's not in Starling City, then where the hell is he?"

Diggle then pointed at something on the screen. "Look here. It says that his company is headquartered and based in California, Los Angeles to be specific." he then looked at Oliver. "He probably won't be coming to Starling City for a while once word about this gets out."

"Look, I know that he's in a different city, but he's still hurting the city. He'll probably find someone else to sell too and then it could cause a gang war, whether it's here or in L.A." Roy said. "I've seen this kind of thing my whole life. Criminals getting their hands on weapons and using them for chaos. We have to do something."

Oliver was deep in thought. After a few minutes, he came to a decision. "You're right, Roy. We may have stopped that gang from getting those weapons, but Munson will just find some other way to get them into the city." he said clearly. "If my experience with the Mayor last year has taught me anything, it's that we need to make sure that street gangs can't get their hands on that kind of firepower. We need to stop Munson and take him down for good."

"So, what does that mean?" Felicity asked as she, Diggle and Roy looked at Oliver.

Oliver breathed out before saying, "We're going to Los Angeles."

So, that's the first chapter done.

I'll admit, I wasn't so sure about this given that this is my first time writing, but I hope you all enjoy it.

I feel like I did pretty good on the fight scene.

Yes, Roy is wearing his usual red hoodie and not his Arsenal suit. It's never explained when he got it specifically and given that this is only three weeks after the Siege, Oliver's probably more focused on training him and hasn't thought about getting him a suit yet. I hope this makes sense. Don't worry, he'll be getting his suit soon.

For anyone who is confused, Howard Munson is a name on the List that is only seen to be in it. You could probably find it written somewhere in Arrow Season 1 if you look hard enough. If not, it's on the Arrow wiki. I chose him because I wanted Oliver to go after someone on the List who hasn't been seen in the show. I haven't figured out who should play him yet, but I'll let you know when I do.

Anyway, now Oliver has a reason to go to Los Angeles. The next chapter will see Team Arrow arrive in L.A. and the next chapter or two will be more Arrow centric and then the real story will begin.
