Star Wars: The Genesis Wave

The battle of Scarif waged on. Darth Vader made his way through the Profundity searching for the stolen death star plans. A rebel soldier raced down a corridor and passed the data card to another soldier on the other side. That soldier carried it into a the Tantive IV. The ship separated and started to fly away. Then an energy ribbon of unknown origin appeared from the distance heading towards Scarif. When it hit some of the ships they were transformed into blobs of green plants and blue water. The wave hit Scarif erasing the damage caused by the death star. "Fire a one reactor shot at that thing! "Tarkin ordered. The Death Star fired its superlaser which was absorbed and transformed by the genesis wave as a green line in space. "Jump in hyperspace and get us out of here! "Tarkin ordered. The Death Star escaped to hyperspace. Vader neared his shuttle. "Here is the data they recovered. What did they give us? "Captain Antilles asked. "Hope. "Princess Leia replied. "What is that? "Captain Antilles asked as he spotted the genesis wave. "Whatever it is it just did something to that planet. It's rearranging it. "Leia replied. "The Tantive IV jumped to hyperspace. Vader neared his shuttle when the genesis wave hit. He tried to hold the wave off by force pushing it. He raced towards the ramp when the wave hit his hand engulfing it. "Take off now! "Vader shouted to his pilot. An officer reached for Vader's hand when he pulled it away. "Don't touch it or you might get contaminated by it. "Vader warned. They flew to the Devastator. Once on Vader's command ship Vader headed towards the bridge. "Follow that, Corvette. They have the death star plans. "Vader ordered. The Devastator jumped into hyperspace.
On Coruscant Emperor Palpatine watched a holovid of the genesis wave hitting scarif with some officers. "What is it? "An officer asked. "It is not of imperial design. Unlikely it was created by the rebellion. "Palpatine replied. "It terraformed Scarif turning it into a new planet. It caused genesis. "The officer said. "Then henceforth it will be called the genesis wave. "Palpatine said. "It's heading towards us. We won't have time to evacuate every planet in its path. "The officer warned. "We won't try to evacuate them. Order Tarkin to fire a full power shot at the genesis wave as soon as the final checkout is complete. "Palpatine ordered.
On Tatooine Obi-Wan felt a disturbance in the force. Millions of voices screaming in terror. He grabbed Anakin's lightsaber and jumped on his mount headed for the Lars Homestead. The Devastator captured the Tantive IV above Tatooine. Vader force choked the captain and then Leia was brought before him. "The imperial senate won't sit still for this when you have attacked a diplomat- "Leia was cut off. "You weren't on any mercy mission this time your highness. Several transmissions were beamed to this ship by rebel spies. I want to know what happened to the plans they sent you. "Vader asked. "I am a member of the imperial senate on a diplomatic mission for alderaan. "Leia replied. "You are part of the rebel alliance, and a traitor Take her away! "Vader shouted. Leia noticed Vader's hand. "You touched the genesis wave! It's spreading up your arm! "Leia shouted. Just then Vader felt pain from the genesis wave on his arm. "AAAAAA! "Vader screamed as he started having visions of the past. He saw Padme lying on the birthing table. "Luke and Leia. "She said as the twins were born. "Anakin I am sorry. You are forgiven. "Padme said sadly. "Nooo!" Vader screamed. "Take her to my quarters. "Vader ordered.
Yoda sat in his hut on Dagobah. He sensed the disturbance caused by the genesis wave. "Anger and hate caused this disaster they did. "Yoda said.
Obi-Wan reached the Lars Homestead just as Owen bought Artoo and Threepio from the Jawas. "What are you doing here Obi-Wan? "Owen asked. "We must leave this planet now! "Obi-Wan shouted. "You mean because of the genesis wave. "Luke replied. "Yes. "Obi-Wan replied. Suddenly Artoo played a hologram of Princess Leia for Obi-Wan. "General Kenobi years ago you served my father in the clone wars now he needs your help desperately. I regrant not presenting this to you in person but my ship has fallen under attack. I have placed information vital to the survival of the rebellion in the memory systems of this R2 unit you must deliver him to my father on Alderaan. Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi your my only hope. "Leia said and then she disappeared. "We must go to Alderaan now. If you stay here you will die Owen and Beru Lars. The empire will kill you because they don't want any witnesses, or the genesis wave will. "Obi-Wan shouted. "Owen we are dead either way. We must leave. "Beru warned. "We don't have a ship. "Owen continued. "There was nothing I could do. She lost the will to live. Force healing wouldn't heal that. We don't have time to argue. Every second brings that wave closer to this planet. "Obi-Wan warned. "We will take both speeders. Luke can take you and the droids in his and we will follow in ours. "Owen said. After they boarded the speeders and headed to Mos Eisley.
