The gunmen corral all the people in the restaurant, herding them into the lobby of the hotel. Outside, she sees the flashing lights of police cars, and hears someone yelling over a loudspeaker, "This is the police. We have you surrounded."

The gunmen ignore the commotion outside, continuing to force hostages into a part of the lobby hidden from the front doors, doors which are chained shut with some sort of explosive on them. Carly groans as she sees the other people held hostage, wondering what evil she had committed that she'd get stuck here with Elizabeth, Sam, and Robin. They are sitting on the floor like three little brown haired ducks in a row. Also present are Alan and Emily Quartermaine, sitting together on a small sofa, Maxie Jones, and Lulu Spencer, huddling together in a corner, along with a slew of employees and guests who were unlucky enough to get caught by the terrorists.

Looking around, she sees three of her guards with their hands tied behind their backs, sitting back on the other side of the room. Vince is bleeding from his head, Tommy is still bleeding profusely from his shoulder, and Milo has a torn suit and a bloody side. As banged up as they are, all three look like they are just waiting for the chance to kill the masked men. There are three additional gunmen in the lobby for a total of five, all masked and heavily armed.

Carly takes a moment to do some deep breathing exercises, trying to calm herself. What do they want? For the life of her, she can't figure out what is in the hotel that's valuable enough for this type of chaos. Looking at one of the gunmen, she asks in a shaky voice, "Do you want money? The hotel doesn't keep a bunch on hand, but I will give you what we have."

One of the gunmen comes over to Carly, his eyes narrowed, "The guest of honor has finally arrived." It's an Australian accented voice she knows, her eyes turn hard as he continues, "Are you surprised? We don't want your money. You and that thug boyfriend are going to pay for what you did to my brother."

"Jerry! What the hell is this?" Carly bites out.

"It's your funeral. Did you think we were going to let some guttersnipe screw over my brother?" He asks, his voice dripping with disdain.

Carly lets out a growl, "He's doing plenty of screwing all on his own. Well, I guess not all on his own, Brenda is doing plenty of screwing too. So, get off your high horse."

"I would be more careful about what you say to me. I can make your death quick or drawn out and messy." Then loud enough that everyone in the room can hear, he counters with an evil grin, "Don't talk to me about Jax's transgressions when you are pregnant with Jason Morgan's baby."

She hears a gasp behind her, probably from one of Jason's brunettes. Looking around the room, she sees a variety of reactions to news of her pregnancy. The pixies all look devastated, though Robin's got some bitchiness she's throwing Carly's way. Emily looks doubtful and more than annoyed at the revelation, while Alan looks somewhere between excited and concerned.

Turning her attention back to Jerry, she warns him, "Jason will come save me. You should be the one scared right now!"

"Nope. That's still you." He says menacingly. "I certainly hope your love comes, it's part of the plan. And when he shows up, I am going to make him watch you and his child die right in front of him, before I put a bullet in his brain."

"You won't get away with this! And I hope, when Jason ends your life, my face is the last thing you see." Her voice is brimming with anger, the words hard as ice, though she has to clench her hands to hide the tremor. The thought of them hurting Jason just about brings her to her knees.

He laughs in her face, "You think your little boy toy is going to save you? By the end of the day, neither of you will be breathing."

"Jason's far more of a man than you and your brother will ever be. Hell, Jax didn't even have it in him to get his own wife pregnant. All it took was once with Jason to do the trick." She taunts him.

He backhands her across the cheek so hard it knocks her to the ground and cuts open her lip. "Sit there and shut up. No one needs to hear the trash coming out of your mouth. Or maybe I should kill you now so Jason can just discover your cold, bloody body." He warns with a growl. Then, leaning in close, he threatens, "And maybe I will have a go between those thighs of yours, see what all the fuss is about." She flinches back from him, moving closer to Alan.

Milo starts to jump up and attack him for hurting Carly, despite his cuffed hands, but one of the gunmen goes behind him, hitting him over the head with the butt of his gun, knocking him out. With a cry, Carly watches him fall lifelessly to the ground. She holds her breath, eyeing his chest intently to make sure he's still breathing, relaxing a bit when she sees it move.

Jerry's phone rings, and he leaves the room to answer. Though, the beginning of his response is clear as he walks out the door, "Hey. Everything is going to plan, when you get here…"

Alan asks Carly quietly, "Are you okay?"

She gives him a half smile, "Yes, it just stings. I'm more concerned about the guards. Their injuries are more threatening than my sore cheek."

He looks at the three men in question, studying them with a doctor's eye, "The blood loss is concerning, as are the possible concussions, but their injuries look to be non-fatal." Turning his attention back to his former daughter in law, he asks, "Is it true? Are you pregnant with Jason's child?"

Bracing herself for his reaction, she admits, "Yes, I'm pregnant and Jason's the father."

Emily scoffs from beside him, "Don't believe anything she says, Dad. It's probably just another scheme. You always have to screw up Jason's life."

"Emily," Alan scolds.

"Dad, please tell me you haven't forgotten all the ways she has screwed over both Jason and AJ? I'm not going to believe anything until I see a paternity test." Emily says snidely.

Carly feels a stab of anger so fierce she has the overwhelming urge to lay into Emily, despite it really not being the right time. Knowing how much that attitude will hurt Jason, she tells her, with a bite to her voice, "You might want to be more delicate around your brother. You don't want to believe me, you don't like me, that's fine. I don't have any warm and fuzzies for you either. But Jason is already in love with his child whether you choose to believe she's his or not, and he's not going to react well to you questioning his place in her life."

Emily sits back rolling her eyes, "God, why does it have to be you?! What sort of black magic are you using to keep my brother tied to you?"

"Love." Carly answers.

From behind her, Robin snidely says, "Please, there's no way Jason is in love with you, and all you care about is yourself. You are incapable of loving anyone because it requires selflessness, a trait you don't have an ounce of."

"Shut it, Robin." Carly bites out. "No one cares about your opinion, least of all Jason. And the fricken nerve after everything you did to him. What's your betrayal count with him now, three, four, hell maybe five times you have absolutely wrecked his life. Yeah, you're doing selfless fantastic, you hypocrite."

"Carly…" Sam starts bitingly.

"Sam, I swear to God, don't you dare start in." Carly whisper yells, then with an evil glint, "I do have a question, how long did it take to wash Ric's slimy touch off you? Have you been able to yet? Is sleeping with him running like a nightmare through your mind?" She lets out a shudder at the thought.

Sam scoffs, but shuts up. Several eyes turn to Sam in surprise. Emily asks disgustedly, "You cheated on my brother with Ric Lancing?"

Suddenly, a slew of voices are arguing, the volume raising dramatically, causing Jerry to come roaring into the lobby, "Everybody shut it or I will start putting bullets in you one by one!" Directing his attention to Carly, "You cause chaos wherever you go." He grabs her arm, yanking her to her feet, then pulls her out of the room. He is walking so fast that she is left tripping after him, trying not to fall. "You can stay in here until all the main players arrive. Keep yourself out of trouble." He throws her in one of the private lounges, making her fall to the floor, and then locking the door behind her.

"Jason, please come save us, and be careful," she whispers out in a prayer as she assesses the room for possible weapons.

"Stone Cold!" Spinelli yells out horrified by what he is hearing on the police scanner.

Jogging downstairs, he asks his younger friend, "What? Did you find something?"

"No. There's… deepest apologies… uh, a hostage situation at Carly's hotel." Spinelli shouts.

Jason takes a step back as though he's just taken a hit. There's a wave of fear that rips through him so fiercely he staggers back, having to catch himself on the desk. Fuck! Carly! This is what Jax has been up to, he's sure of it. This has Jerry's grimy fingerprints all over it. He runs through the horror show of possibilities, each more devastating than the last. When it feels like his mind is spiraling out, he takes a deep breath to steady himself. He can't help Carly if he gives into the fear. And he's damned if he's going to lose Carly and his child. He will kill anyone that gets between him and the woman he loves.

He pulls out his phone, calling Carly's guard. When someone picks up, he asks, "Where's Carly?"

"Ah, Mr. Morgan, I'm so glad you asked. She is waiting for you to come save her from the big bad wolf."

His entire body turns to stone at the familiar voice. "Jerry? If you touch one hair on her head, I will kill you." Jason bites out in an arctic voice.

Jerry lets out a laugh, "I'm definitely planning to hurt more than the hair on her head. You better come save her quickly."

Before Jason can respond, Jerry hangs up. Jason lets out a growl, his hands turning white knuckled when he fists his them.

"Stone Cold?" Spinelli asks.

"They've got her." He says, sounding broken. He narrows his eyes, directing his focus to the computer genius, "I need you to get eyes inside the hotel. Can you hack into the hotel surveillance? Find out where Carly and the others are?"

Spinelli's head moves jerkily up and down, his fingers flying over the keyboard. Within a minute, he confirms, "I'm in. It looks like they've got everybody in the lobby, but…" His voice trails off, his eyes scanning the screen. Letting out a gasp of fear, "Lulu and Maxie are there, as well as your patriarch and sister. The not so fair Samantha and Elizabeth are there too. But I don't see the maternal Valkyrie."

Jason feels his chest tightening when he sees Alan and Emily. Scanning all the faces, he narrows his eyes when he sees three of his guards tied up and bloody. Where's Carly?

"Find Carly." He demands in a desperate voice.

Jason's eyes stay glued to the screen as Spinelli goes through room by room. He doesn't take a real breath until he sees her on the screen. She is sitting in a leather chair alone in one of the back rooms. She has one hand resting protectively over her stomach, the other is clutching a heavy looking statuette. Good girl. The image quality is poor, but it looks like her lip is bleeding. Picking up his phone to mobilize his men, he grates out in a rage, "I'm going to fucking kill him."
