Chapter 77 Darkness Within

Haru was at his room holding the millennium rod staring at the thing, this thing possessed him with a dangerous side.

"I didn't want this."

It was bad enough for the torture stuff, but really, this thing had to corrupt him.

"I wonder if it has any effect on my rider form."

Dark Haru using his rider form is something he didn't want to happen. Even if Dragon is the one giving the power, for the spirit to take over it, that can cause problems.

The idea just gives him shivers.

"I can't let it get to me." He holds his head.

That darker version just makes everything he believes become perverted.

"I can't let him take control again." Haru holds his head.

The dark version watches from behind. "Keep telling yourself that."

Haru looks back and frowns since that guy was hearing him.

He goes out to the bathroom and washes his face. He looks at a mirror to see Dark Haru.

"How long will it take for you to break?" He tauned.

Haru had enough and punches the mirror breaking it.

Weiss came in. "Haru!"

"Oh hey Weiss." He smiles.

"Why did you break the mirror?" She said.

"Sorry... It seems i've been having a lot of stress." He holds his head.

She got worried. "Your should take a rest."

"Maybe, but I need to get some fresh air."

She nodded and he goes outside as Weiss watches him from a window.

"I hope he doesn't hurt himself."

Haru was very important to them and to see him like this just breaks her heart.

She looks at the Millennium rod and that thing always gives her the creeps.

Haru looks at the item and friend regreting ever picking it up a long time who back at the Mana's home.

"You'll never take me."

At Salem's base

Cinder was at her bed as she lies down holding her new arm.

She remembers Dark Haru and it just made her heated.

"That young man, I thought he was just a fool, but to have that much darkness... It's attractive." She smiles.

Tyrian seems more interested fighting Dark Haru as he wants to see the death game that he mentioned. So of course the psycho wants to play those games.

"Only he would be interested in those games, I want is a King."

She wants that Haru at her side so that she would have the perfect man.

Her allies might think she's crazy but she won't take a chance away.

Dark Haru only appeared after Haru went mad, so she will have to think of a way for him to lose control.

"In order to have my king I must have him go to his true self." She smiles.

The only thing that can stop her are those girls, since they seem to be the only one that can bring the good one back.

"I'll have to make sure they don't get in my way."

Tyrian was with Salem.

"Please mistress, allow me to go after him." Tyrian said.

"You only wish to challenge the dark half in his death game." She said.

"It sounds fun, a game where two challenge to the death." He smiles.

"You'll have to wait." She told him.

He frowns a bit but he doesn't want to make her mad.

Another Wizard watches. "They should really keep that wacko under control."

His plan failed because Tyrian got in the way so he had to think of something else for the future.

"That dark Haru can become a powerful Dark rider with the right help. But of course theres no fun when it can't be done."

Mercury passes by. "So wizard guy, what's your big plan this time?"

"Don't annoy me, I already had it ruined because of that idiot." He grunts.

"Don't need to act like that, plus Tyrian is insane all the time." Mercury shrugs.

"Too much it seems, if he actually did his job we would have had an ally over another enemy."

While Brune isn't like Weiss, she isn't on they're side so to him she's an enemy.

He still has no idea where she is, since it means that she can be anywhere and cause problems for them too.

'This reminds me of others copies gaining they're own sentience after they got stronger, now that worries me.'

Some of them did that through a rider power and she was made from his magic, there is a way to become a rider without a Phantom as you need a certain level of mastery with magic to basically convert they're power into drivers.

Some witches are capable and if that girl can do it, they'll be in trouble.

'I'll have to chase her too after this, to make sure to see if she has the potential or not. She better be something that is meant to vanish.'

Mercury stares at him. "What are you thinking?"

"I need to see something." He goes away.

Mercury stands there confused to what the guy said since it must be something important.

"okay." He said.

Another Wizard has to find Brune to make sure if she has it or not.

Salem watches him leave and could tell he's going after Brune.

'If he wishes to see that girl, then i'll allow it since to make sure she doesn't become a real threat later on.'
