I posted this chapter on Valentine's Day.

The next day…

So the party planning committee didn't have the best ideas. But Clawdeen realized that part of the reason was that they were planning something for a place they had never been to or had a chance to view through the eyes of party planning. They asked Bloodgood if they could use the gymnasium or have the school shut down for Draculuara's birthday party. But she canceled on both ideas.

So, the two ventured into the catacombs to look for the perfect place for a party. They searched for what felt like hours as they traveled through all of the floors. And they did. They found the location for the party on the sixth level. One downside is that there is a literal pool of smelly-disgusting slime that will make you stink for about six months straight and no amount of showers would help. So that part is a success. Now they had to find and get the perfect decorations for the party.

So that part was a success. Now for the other party is the decorations, the cake, the music, and the food as well.

Now over with Izuku and Draculaura, Izuku gave her another gift as promised. Today, Izuku decided to give Draculaura a diamond crystal necklace made from the shards of his form Diamondhead. It was mostly easy to do, but when it came to making some of the diamonds form into hearts, bats, and hearts with bat wings on them, that was the difficult part.

What's more: today Draculaura had her driving test and if she passes she'll be able to get a car so said her dad. Knowing this, Izuku hinted that he had a very special surprise for Draculaura on her birthday that involved her driving license. This would be Izuku's last gift to Draculaura.

At the moment, Izuku was helping Draculaura study for her driving exam with flashcards and a visual PowerPoint. Amazingly, Draculaura was able to get every answer correct and even provided all of the rules of the road and step by step on what to do while driving. When the studying was over, Draculaura couldn't help but ask Izuku, "Izuku, are you okay? After what happened last night I figured you'd still be mad."

Izuku blushed in embarrassment. Last night when Izuku got jealous of Draculaura's old boyfriend, that was an embarrassing moment for him. He's never done anything like that before. Mainly because he's never had a girlfriend and talked about her old boyfriend before. Izuku bowed his head as he apologized to his vampire girlfriend, "I'm sorry for everything last night I sort of, let my emotions get the better of me. I'm sorry for how I acted."

Draculaura giggles as she says, "Izuku it's okay. I dated Valentine hundreds of years ago. And besides there's no reason for you to be jealous of an old boyfriend, I chose you to remember. I chose you to be my boyfriend and I chose you to be my first. Kieran and I weren't close enough to do that." She then lifts Izuku's head gently, so the two can meet each other's eyes. Draculaura leans in towards Izuku and kisses him.

The two kiss for a brief long but short period.

She then says to him after pulling back, "Remember there's nothing for you to be jealous about okay?" Izuku nodded his head as he was speechless at the moment. Draculaura looked at the time and saw that it was time for her license exam. She then tells Izuku before leaving, "How about this; when I get back, I can show you how much I've moved on from Kerian after I got my license." Draculaura lifts her skirt cheekily showing Izuku her panties as a signal to him that she wants to have… Some fun with the green-haired human.

Izuku blushed deeply at her actions.

With that and a wink, Draculaura takes her leave.

Later…

As Izuku was looking online for his final gift to Draculaura on her actual birthday, he was already done with his first gift on Monday, and his second gift today, Tuesday, was done as well. He only has Wednesday for his third gift and Thursday, her actual Birthday to give her final gift. He has his third gift in mind and will be practicing a little bit.

However…

There was a wrench in his plan…

That wrench came in the form of the news from Clawdeen, Toralei, Frankie, and Abbey when they burst in shock, worried, and exhausted as they ran to Izuku. He sat there confused and asked, "Hey girls, is everything okay?" seeing their faces he deduced, "Did something happen to Draculaura? Did she fail the test?"

Clawdeen answers, "No it's not that. She passed her test with flying colors but…"

"But…?"

"So, luv, remember when Draculaura told us about her old boyfriend?"

Izuku nods his head, "...Yeah. Why do you ask?"

"Well…"

Just then Draculaura walks in…

"Izuku I want you to meet…"

With a fellow teenage vampire who has Draculaura's arm wrapped and locked in with his arm…

"Kerien Valentine… My old-boyfriend!" She introduces Izuku to her old boyfriend as she stands there with love-stricken eyes for her old boyfriend. "He'll be staying here for a while and he's even going to attend the party too! Isn't that great?" She was head over heels for her old boyfriend with heart-shaped eyes.

Kerien reaches his hand out and greets Izuku, "You must be Izuku, right? I heard rumors about you being at the school, though I must say, the rumors don't do injustice."

Izuku stood there in shock before finally saying…

…

…

…

…

…

"WWWWWWWWHHHHHHHAAAAAAATTTTTTTTT?!"

Much later…

Izuku's life was in one word: hell.

For the past hours, Kerien has had Draculaura's attention on him and all of him. Since his arrival, he has been giving Draculaura flashy and expensive gifts left and right, saying that she was the only ghoul who had his unbeating heart which honestly fueled the jealousy meter by a ton. Every time he has tried to talk to Draculaura to show her his gift to her, Kerien has been there driving her attention to him. And during that time, she has not left his side not once. What's more, is that Draculaura has asked Kerien to take over the party planning even though she put Cleo and Clawdeen on that task from the get-go.

So the problem with Kerien was out of hand.

And seriously…

It was pissing everybody off.

Including Izuku - he was upset. He was not just jealous, but he was upset that Draculaura was forgetting about him and putting him on pause. Honestly, in Izuku's head, it felt like at any minute now Draculaura would break up with Izuku to be with Valentine.

The girls seeing this try to help the situation. They talked to Draculaura during lunch, and thankfully Valentine doesn't have the same lunch period as them. They talked to her about her sudden attachment to Valentine, how she has ignored them, suddenly had him plan out the party, and most of all that she has forgotten that she has a boyfriend. Draculaura said that she has tried her best to head to Izuku and think about him, or even to spend time with him too. But for some reason, she has this weird connection with Valentine that prevents her from leaving him or thinking about anything or anyone else.

Hearing this made the girls feel suspicious of Valentine instantly.

The girls tried their best to get Draculaura away from Valentine, but it was difficult.

But then…

Cleo had an idea of how to get Draculaura away from Valentine and to remind her who truly had her heart in the first place. When Draculaura goes off into the bathroom, two girls direct Valentine away from Draculaura to help them figure out a gift idea that Valentine could package as his gift to her. While the two of them in the bathroom tell Draculaura that they planned a romantic dinner for the two of them.

Of course, Draculaura bought it and so did Valentine as well.

Draculaura journeyed into the woods to head to the dinner, when she arrived she was met with a hill and all the settings for a picnic instead of a dinner. Some note cards asked her to sit down and look up at the sky. She followed, when she looked up into the sky, when she did, she was met with a full firework display that glowed and flashed brightly in the night sky.

Each firework was brighter and brighter and brighter than the next.

She was speechless the entire time as she held her hands close to her mouth and her heart.

Each firework exploded into something else. A heart, a heart with bat wings, flowers, and two doves that symbolize love. Then one big firework blasted off into the sky to form Draculaura in shining bright colors. Another one blasted off to make her name and two fired off into the sky separately to form the words 'I love you, Draculaura.'

In her love-stricken eyes, she thought that it was Valentine.

But then an image of her and Izuku blasted and exploded into the sky.

Just like that, Draculaura was brought out of a trance between her and Valentine. The night soon exploded with fireworks images between her and Izuku.

The two kissing…

Holding hands…

Studying together…

Helping together…

Cuddling in each other's arms…

The two smiling romantically at each other…

It was there that Draculaura felt like she was back to being romantic and being in love with Izuku rather than being with Valentine. She was reminded of how much she loved Izuku and how much she's moved on from Valentine. She felt the heaviest of guilt from her actions today as she was fawning and swooning over Valentine as if he were her boyfriend.

Her eyes soon wandered into the distance as she saw the location of the fireworks being blasted off into the sky.

She soon goes to where the fireworks are located.

When she arrived…

She was met with Izuku in the form of Heatblast blasting off more and more fireworks into the sky. Draculaura could see that he was using Heatblast's fireballs and blasting them into the air and using the explosions as fireworks.

He threw his hands in the air in frustration as he said out loud, "Dammit! I'm never going to get this right!" He was referring to the fact that his latest firework fired up into the air but came down and the words 'Be my valentine' were shrouded in the trees. "Man," Izuku breathed out in frustration, "If I don't get this right, Draculaura's never going to want to be my girlfriend ever." Hearing that made Draculaura's heart sink. "I mean are these fireworks even going to work? Ugh, I can't think of anything good or better to show Draculaura how much I love her. I mean, what kind of ways can I show her how much I love her, she's smart, she's kind, she's selfless, she's brave, she's… An amazing ghoulfriend that… I can't even imagine my life without her." He then slams his magma hands into his… Hair? Fire? And then says in frustration, "How the hell am I supposed to show Draculaura how much I love her and that I want to be with her when that guy keeps showing up?" He was upset that the girl he cherished with all of his heart was slipping away from him every hour.

There was a brief silence that filled the area…

And then…

Two things happened…

One Izuku transformed back into his human self…

And two, Draculaura finally made her presence known…

"Izuku…"

Izuku, frightened by the sudden voice, turns around to face a hurt Draculaura who looks at him with eyes of shock. Izuku stammers as he says, "I-I-I, uh, thought that a firework show was a good third gift. But, I was practicing before it was time to give you your gift." Izuk looks down away from Draculaura's eyes, not wanting her to look at his eyes like this jerk. Or what and who he perceives as a jerk. "Before Valentine came along, I wanted to impress you and show you how much you mean to me. But now that he's here… It feels like I need to do my best to show you how much I love you… I may not have a lot of money, and I may not be able to turn your birthday into a holiday. But that doesn't stop me from wanting to show you how much I love- - -!"

When he lifts his head…

He was met with the speed of Draculaura who rushed towards him and claimed his lips as hers.

The two soon fell deep into a trance as their kiss rejuvenated and brought out that spark of love within them.

Unknown to the two…

Valentine was making his way towards them as he was trying to look for Draculaura.

But unknown to Valentine, when he was distracted by Cleo and Clawdeen, Frankie enlisted the help of Ghoulia to find out anything and everything about Valentine. And when they found his past texts, emails, calendar events, and to top it off, they found a sort of private chat log with people, girls, girls he's broken up with over the centuries talking to each other about him.

And let me tell you: This is the finger that will get Valentine to crumble down and leave Draculaura and them.

In the shared dorm room of the lovers…

A large human-sized shadow person, whose body was flowing and whispering like water, appeared in the room of Frankie, Clawdeen, Draculuara, and Izuku's room and stood in the center of the room. The shadow started shifting and changing into a solid form. A young witch girl (from the last chapter) stood in the room, she soon walked to the secret room where Draculaura had all of her witchcraft items and opened it with the flick of her finger and wrist.

When the door to the room opened, she was met with everything witchcraft-related. She scoffs in disgust that Draculaura has the standard and regular tools, potions, ingredients, and everything that a first-time witch would normally have.

She makes her way towards Draculaura's spell book and casts a spell on the book. The spell revealed the hidden presence of a glowing ruby that had great power inside it. The spell book Draculaura had was a gift from Clawdeen months prior, she bought it from a witch shop who sold it at a good price and gave it to Draculaura. She had no idea what was inside the book, hidden away where no one would suspect.

She grabs the ruby and replaces the ruby with a fake non-magical ruby. Which looks exactly like the one she just stole.

The young witch walked out of the room and closed the door behind her with a spell. Before taking her leave, she cast two spells. One to clean and fix everything the way it was before her arrival, and one to remove all evidence of her presence. Just in case.

She cast her shadow form and transported herself back to her room/lab.

It was there that she made her way to a carved rune summoning circle and placed the ruby at one of the corners of the circle, beside a rune-carved drawing.

Once placed, her familiar, talking black cat speaks and says, "You know I'm still confused about this whole thing, Charmcaster." He said in a high-upper-class male voice which sounded much like Patrick Stewart. And he said her name.

"What's there to understand, Phill?" Charmcaster asked as she was looking back at a scroll about the spell she was doing.

Phil explains, "This whole 'calling in an old boyfriend who breaks up with girls to collect their emotions just to get some teenagers out of their room'. I mean, you could have gotten them out of their room without needing to do anything. Hell, you probably would have done it easily with a spell distraction, why go through all the trouble if they were going to leave the room anyway just to get that ruby?" He was still confused as to why Charmcaster went through all of this.

Charmcaster explains, "Because Phil if I did use a distraction of my own, the monsters and that goody-goody-two-shoes hero would have guessed that the attack was a distraction and searched for whatever was stolen. I couldn't take the risk of them walking in when I was getting my hands on my prize." She then adds, "Plus if I waited for them to head to one of their classes or anything else naturally, who knows how long I would have had before they came back? Plus, I noticed how many times the other girls walked into their room all willy-nilly without much problem. I couldn't take the risk at all. This way, however, it'll keep everyone out while trying to get rid of that heartbreaking jerk." She looks back at the scroll and sees that her work is almost done. She smiles as she says, "Looks like the spell is almost done, just needs a few more items."

Phil then asks as he looks over the scroll and its spell over her shoulder, "Are you sure you want to follow along with this spell? I was there when your uncle grabbed these items and made this spell, and I was there when the council decided to send these items all over the globe, trust me: It's not worth it." He said trying to convince Charmcaster not to risk her life for the objects that she needs to grab.

Charmcaster answers as she tightens her hand, "It is worth it. And most of all-I'm willing to do anything to get Uncle Hex back. Even if it means that I go into hell and back. It's better to look the devil in the eye than shake the hand of god." She was determined to get her uncle back to her after the Council of Mystics banished her uncle in the most unforgivable lands ever.

Phil sighs as he shakes his head and says, "Well if you're ready to take this path, then I'll help you however I can. But be warned, the journey and tasks to get these items is a grueling journey. You'll have a harder time getting the rest of the items than sneaking into a school." He then says under his breath, "Let's hope that those kids know what's good for them and back off before something terrible happens."

She nods her head as she says, "Well then if they do decide to stick their noses in our business." Her eyes glowed a violent and menacing color of pink as she smiled wickedly, "They'll have to be ready for what's coming."

Phil then thinks to himself, 'Kid,' referring to Izuku, 'I hope you'll be ready for what's coming. Charmcaster is a handful - but her uncle - I just hope you'll survive the first fight of your life.' Hoping that Izuku might be strong enough to handle Charmcaster and defeat her uncle Hex. Who is someone more dangerous than Charmcaster.
