Kissed by the Baddest Bidder

"Hello? Mr. Moon?"

Mike cleared his throat, "I thought I told you never to call me again, Maggie."

His voice was intimidating but it wasn't enough to scare her, "I know but it's an emergency."

Mike heaved a sigh, "You have 10 minutes, explain yourself."

"Have you ever known a business owner with the last name of Dawson?"

He took a while to think about the name, "Yes, but we lost that case about 4 years ago. Why?"

"Well I remember you telling me that you wanted that music store to be yours, and I think I may have just found the daughter who's next in line to own the music store." Maggie explained, a smirk tugged at the side of her lips.

She knew Mike couldn't pass down an opportunity like this.

Sonic Boom was the only music store left in Miami that hadn't been bought out by Mike's company.

It was first on their hit list.

"Are you sure about this Maggie?" He asked.

"I'm positive, she told me her name was Ally Dawson. Didn't you come across her mother Peggy Dawson?"

Mike chuckled darkly, "Well I'll be damned..."

"Not so fast Mike, I gave you some information I want something in return."

"You always want something in return...what is it this time? Money? I'll send you a check-"

"No I don't want your stupid money right now. I want full control over Austin's career."

Mike scoffed, "Now why would you want that?"

"Because, his career is going down track fast and if he goes down I go down with him. I'm not letting that happen." Maggie said. The fear of Austin's career sinking was unfathomable. She couldn't loose all her fame, all her luxury, her fortune.

"Sounds more like you care about yourself than Austin's well being."

Maggie winced, "Oh honey, of course I care about Austin's well being!"

Mike rolled his eyes and leaned back in his desk chair, "Call me back later tonight, we'll discuss the matter."

"Why don't I come over instead?" Maggie suggested seductively.

"No." And with that he hung up.

Ally's POV

"Bambi, what the hell are you doing on the floor?"

I looked up to see Hunter's tall body hovering over me like a shadow.

"I...I don't know..." I lied. Truth is, I knew exactly why I was on the floor. My body had betrayed me, I had betrayed Austin, and worst of all I'm too scared to even tell Austin the truth. How could I let Asher get under my skin so easily?

Hunter raised an eyebrow at me, "Well...Austin's looking for you."

"He is?" I questioned.

Oh no...did he see Asher...?

"Okay Bambi, you're not dumb. You're his property, of course he's going to be asking and looking around for you." Hunter snapped at me before walking out of the kitchen. Even after he left I stayed in my place, I couldn't even find the motivation to move.

All I wanted to do was get out of here and hide.

"Bambi!" Austin's voice rang from outside the kitchen walls.

I quickly found the motivation to get off the floor, I sat down in a chair and grabbed a book opening it to a page pretending to look like I was consumed by the plot. Suddenly Austin came in, he had a tux on and his hair was slicked back.

"There you are babe." He came over and kissed my cheek.

I smiled and nervously chuckled, "H-Here I am..."

He sat down in the chair across from me and cocked an eyebrow, "So, whatcha' up to?"

"Oh, nothing really...just reading a book to pass the time." I answered.

He smirked, "Upside down?"

My eyes widened as I looked at the book and in fact, the book was upside down. I nervously laughed and pulled my hair behind my ears trying to avoid eye contact with him. I was scared I would give myself away with just one look, I could see the worry cross his features.

"Maybe I like reading upside down."

He leaned back in the chair and ran his fingers through his tamed hair.

"Are you okay Allison?" He whispered softly.

The look in his eyes were pleading for an answer, an answer I wasn't ready to give him yet. I couldn't tell Austin what had happened just a couple minutes ago. I couldn't ruin Asher and Austin's friendship, or whatever relationship they had.

I'm just not that kind of person.

"I'm fine Austin." I smiled and intertwined our fingers together.

I knew I was lying, but I was doing it to protect his heart from getting hurt. He's already went through too much stress this morning I'd hate to put even more stress on him especially if it involved Asher.

"Anyways," he smiled and got up, "I have a meeting with Maggie."

"You guys have meetings?" I questioned.

"Apparently so. She thinks she's my manager but I'm planning on officially firing her tonight." He said proudly while fixing his collar. I laughed at his determination to ruin his Aunt's career. The way Austin thinks is so confusing, sometimes I don't know what crazy plans he's up to.

"Well, hopefully that goes well." I giggled.

He laughed and grabbed my wrist pulling me closer to him.

"A-Austin-"

He cupped my face making me look him the eyes, "I'm so lucky I have someone like you."

I drew in a deep breath, "I'm lucky that I have someone like you too..."

He put a finger to my lip shushing me, "Never say too."

I pushed his finger away from my mouth, "Why not?"

He shrugged, "I don't know, it's just when you say too it sounds like you're just agreeing with me."

I nodded in understanding, I totally got where he was coming from with that.

He kissed my forehead and walked towards the door, "Dinner later tonight? Just me and you?"

I smiled, "It's a date." He laughed and grabbed my chin pulling me in for a kiss. Suddenly his hands wrapped around my waist and he pushed me against the wall. My arms immediately wrapped around his neck drawing him deeper into the kiss.

With Austin I could feel all my worries washing away...

...Wait Asher!

I suddenly pushed Austin off of me. He took a couple steps back before blinking at me in shock.

"Ally...are you alright?" He asked coming towards me.

I took one huge step backwards, "Oh yeah, I'm just not feeling so well and I don't want to get you sick that's all." I answered smiling my hardest. For a minute he looked at me with worry but then his features softened and he came over to kiss my forehead.

"You're so considerate baby," he sighed and headed for the door, "I'll see you later tonight." And with that he shut the door. I heaved a sigh of relief and walked to towards the corner of the hall.

"What are you hiding from Austin?"

I turned around to see Hunter leaning against the wall casually with his cigarette in his hands. His jacket was laid over his shoulder and his hair was slicked back like it usually was.

"Hunter don't scare me like that..."

"Did you cheat on Austin or something like that?" He abruptly asked.

My eyes widened.

Did he know?

"Hunter, no I haven't been cheating on Austin!"

He looked me up and down before walking towards the door.

"I'm going out for a while, don't wait up for me." He snapped before shutting the door.

I let out a breath that I didn't even know I was holding in. Hunter made me tense and he for sure knew that. He liked watching me squirm uncomfortably under his stare. I guess it just boosted that big ego of his.

So I guess it's just me in this house...

Suddenly there was a knock at the door.

I wonder who that is...?

I opened the door and my heart sunk.

"James...?" I observed him up and down unable to process what was right in front of me.

James and I used to date before I got a job as maid here but unfortunately he broke up with me due to the long distance relationship. He felt as if we were falling apart and honestly he broke up with me for another girl.

"Hi Ally..." He smiled innocently.

It made me sick...

"What the hell are you doing here? How do you know I live here?" I questioned.

His eyes widened, "Don't worry, I'm the only one who knows you live here."

I rolled my eyes at him, "That doesn't make me feel any better that you're here."

"Ally don't-"

I stopped him before he could speak, "Save it James. You broke up with me we're over."

"It was a mistake choosing her over you Ally."

"James I swear-"

"Bambi? Who's at the door?!" Asher yelled from the living room.

I cursed under my breath. I totally forgot that Asher was still here at the penthouse. My whole life is so problematic living here, the moment I find happiness not only one but two people ruin it for me.

I pushed James away from the doorway, "You need to leave...like now."

Suddenly Asher appeared right beside me and the smirk on his face dropped.

"Who the hell are you?" He snapped while taking a swig of his beer.

James raised an eyebrow and pointed to Asher, "This is your boyfriend?"

"What? No! Of course not!" I laughed nervously before looking at him, "And he never will be." I said angrily at him. He glared at me before rolling his eyes. His attention drew back to James.

"Look little baby child, the elevators over there go home."

James smirked, "If you send me away I'm telling the paparazzi about the black market."

My eyes shot up to look at James in disbelief as Asher's can dropped out of his hands.

"Bloody hell..."
