Ally's POV (Day after the dance; In Lunch)
"Ally...Ally!"
I was pulled out my thoughts due to the voice yelling in my ear. "Yes?" I asked annoyed.
"You've been sitting there for 10 minutes staring into space what's the problem?" Kellyanne asked poking my shoulder. I looked at her smiling, "I met someone last night!" I squealed.
"Shut the front door!" She said slamming her drink down. I nodded and she squealed as well. "Oh my god this is major news, so what's the guys name? Does he go to this school? Do I know him?!" She asked.
I sighed, "Sadly no, he goes to a school named Monica high?"
Kellyanne laughed, "Monica high? Ally, Monica high doesn't even exist, if it did unicorns would roam the streets."
"What are you talking about now Kelly?" I moaned biting into my apple. "Dang it Ally the darn boy lied to your face he obviously goes to this school or he wouldn't have been able to get into the dance, much less the school." She said with a shrug of the shoulders.
I groaned and laid my head on my arm.
"Aye Ally cheer up the worst thing that could happen is that he ends up to be a nerd."
I looked at Kelly as my eyes went wide with worry. "Sorry...that might have not been the best thing to say." She said shyly.
I got up grabbing my tray, "I'm officially not hungry anymore." I said as I dumped my tray into the trash. "Hi Ally."
I looked up to see Cassidy and her little pose of friends. I gave her my best fake smile, "What do you want now Cassidy?" I said obviously annoyed.
She took a seat on the table and swayed her feet back and forth. "Heard about you and Dylan, what a tragedy." She exasperated sarcastically.
I rolled my eyes, "Actually it's not a big deal to me anymore. I'm obviously not in love with him anymore." I said walking back to Kellyanne. "So you never knew we were together the whole time? How naive Ally Dorkson, why would someone as attractive as Dylan be with someone like you." She snapped.
"Maybe I'm not but you definitely aren't in his league." I argued right back.
She laughed loudly, "Oh sweetie then why did he decide to sleep with me and not you?" She teased circling.
"Was Ally Dorkson too shy for sex? I think we all know the answer to that." She sneered loudly. Soon all the students in lunch room were watching us. Suddenly Austin walked up to us stepping in front of me. "Cassidy I think you can go now." He snapped coldly.
"Awe Austin what's your problem you used to love my attention." She teased once again. "Go now you're delusional."
"I'm delusional? Huh we'll see about that." She snapped turning around on her heels as she sashayed away.
Austin looked at me and I just ran out of the cafeteria. "Ally!" I heard him yell but I kept on running. I walked down the hallway heading for my locker. "Ally slow down!" Austin yelled catching up to me. He put a hand on my shoulder but I brutally shoved it away. "Don't touch me!" I yelled getting strange stares from random people. "Ally Cassidy's a bitch don't believe her."
"Well I do! I never gave myself to Dylan and she had the sick courage to!" I yelled at him. I walked away but he quickly grabbed my arm pulling me back. "Why are you so worked up about this Dylan fucking cheated on you with that delusional bitch!" Austin snapped.
I sighed and sat down on a bench, "I really don't know anymore." I said softly, pulling a strand of hair behind my ear I sat my hands in my lap. Did it really seem that unnecessary to freak out over Cassidy and Dylan? I shouldn't be upset about it but in truth I am. I'm upset that I loved him and he didn't feel the same way. That realization hit me hard without warning and I was drowning in my own sorrow.
Austin put his arm around my shoulder pulling me closer to him. "You know what Ally?" Austin asked holding my hand.
"What?" I questioned. "You're strong, independent, and most importantly you can do so much better than Dylan." He said sweetly. I looked at him almost to the point of crying. "Thanks Austin that is the sweetest thing anyone's said to me." I said hugging him tightly.
I felt his arms wrap around my waist as I held on tight.
"Awe how cute." An all too familiar voice said.
We broke the hug only to find Cassidy standing in front of us. "Anyways did I mention the good news Austin? I'm coming to your house later this afternoon, Dylan wanted me to meet his parents." She chimed.
I couldn't help but feel why Cassidy emerged from the shadows today. She's been all up in everybody's business more than usual.
"Dylan invited you over to our house?" Austin asked in disbelief. She smirked and walked away.
"Great I'm stuck with the wicked witch of the west tonight." Austin sighed.
I laughed softly and got up, "Better bring your ruby slippers Austin." I sneered walking away with a smile.
