UNDER THE RED HOOD
AUTHORS NOTE: In the heart of Gotham City, a new chapter was about to unfold for Jason Todd. Once the second Robin, he had faced the darkness of the Joker and emerged from the shadows with a burning desire for redemption. Chapter one
MOUNT JUSTICE ,13:30pm
Recognized nightwing B01 kidflash B03 the zetatube rang out in the halls of mount justice
That's everybody Aqua lad said as Wally west also known as kid flash zoomed passed to take a seat at the long desk infront of them a monitor with none other than the Batman on it,
As kidflash took his place beside Artemis, "I'm guessing dick told you the news " Yes sweetness Wally said as he gave her a peck on the cheek and sat down… "As I was saying redhood has been through a lot and I believe that he would be a valuable asset to the team" Batman continued through the monitor "Aqualad will fill you in on the covert mission in bialya Batman out" transmission ended I can't believe we're getting a new team mate Megan also known as miss martian exclaimed we don't even know what kind of guy he is connor said back his arms crossed in front of his S he wears proudly on his chest Dick does Wally said zipping towards the kitchen and back a bag of chips in his hands, so tell us dick Artemis said as she got up "what kind of guy is this brother of yours anyway " well he's pretty tough nightwing said
That's a given any man that can survive being tortured by the joker dying and coming back would be superboy said, he doesn't really like when people bring that up nightwing said crossing his arms oh great so a moody bad boy
He's not a moody uh I guess he is dick couldn't finish his sentence, well whatever he is red hood is welcome on the team Batman and nightwing have already vouched for him Aquaman added
So what's this about a covert mission in bialya
Kid flash asked…Recognized Red hood R09 the zeta tube rang out, looks like he's here ,
As Red Hood stepped out of the zeta tube, the room fell silent. His presence was imposing, his red helmet gleaming under the lights of Mount Justice. He took a moment to scan the room, his eyes hidden behind the mask, but his posture radiated a sense of caution and readiness.
"Hey, Red Hood," Nightwing greeted, stepping forward. "Everyone, this is Jason Todd, also known as Red Hood."
Jason gave a curt nod, his stance still guarded. "Nice to meet you all," he said, his voice slightly muffled by the helmet.
"I'm Wally, or Kid Flash," Wally said, zipping over to Jason with a friendly smile. "And this is Artemis," he added, pointing to the archer who gave a small wave.
"Hello," Artemis said. "Welcome to the team."
Miss Martian floated over, her green skin and red hair striking against her white uniform. "I'm Megan, also known as Miss Martian. It's great to have you with us."
Superboy, arms still crossed, gave a nod. "Connor," he said simply. "Or Superboy."
Aqualad stepped forward, his demeanor calm and composed. "I am Kaldur'ahm, but you can call me Aqualad. We are glad to have you join us."
Jason took a moment before responding. "Thanks," he said, his tone still reserved. "I appreciate the welcome."
Nightwing could sense the tension. "Jason's been through a lot," he explained to the team. "He usually prefers being alone nut he's a good guy and a valuable asset."
The team nodded in understanding, giving Jason the space he needed.
"So, about this covert mission in Bialya," Kid Flash said, breaking the silence. "What's the plan?"
Nightwing pulled up a holographic map of Bialya. "We're going to Bialya to gather proof of Lex Luthor's involvement in a new street drug called X. This drug gives people heightened strength and durability but also makes them go on a rampage, making them lose their sanity in the process, the effects and duration of action usually depends on the users composition"
"The Queen of Bialya is expected to receive Lex Luthor, who's running for Senate, on the same day a huge shipment was made out from Luthor's transport sector," Aqualad added. "Our mission is to confirm that these crates Bialya is receiving contain the X drugs and if possible proof of Luthors involvement."
"Sounds like a typical day at the office," Wally said with a grin.
"We'll gear up and leave in about 10 hours," Nightwing said. In the meantime Jason get settled in and I'll show you around mount justice
As the team dispersed, Jason headed to put his two duffel bags around his shoulders away
Nightwing led Jason through the halls of Mount Justice, the walls adorned with various team memorabilia and mission achievements. This is nothing you should see Wally's souvenir collection He glanced at Jason, sensing the tension lingering from his past.
"Hey, I know things have been rough for you, especially with what happened with the Joker and coming back from the dead," Nightwing began, his tone sincere. "But I really think you'll be a good fit here. This team is different, and they might even soften you up a bit."
Jason raised an eyebrow, a smirk forming on his lips. "So, softening up is a good thing?"
Nightwing chuckled, shaking his head. "Absolutely. Being around people who care about you is way better than being alone or stuck with the emotionless Batman. Trust me, it's nice to have a support system."
Jason considered this for a moment, the idea of camaraderie slowly breaking through his tough exterior. "I guess it could be nice," he replied, a hint of curiosity in his voice.
You think that's why the old man sent me here jason asked
Who knows Dick replied I've given up trying to figure out what goes on in the head of Batman a long time ago
MOUNT JUSTICE ; 20 minutes before the mission
The team gathered at the briefing room while nightwing provided more information about the mission Queen Bee is holding a party to show full support of her long time friend lex luthor in running for senate just 2 hours away from the venue a lex corp shipment presumed to be carrying the drug X is expected to be landing at a warehouse there, miss M and Connor and Kf you guys are alpha you guys keep an eye on luthor and Queen Bee while me redhood Artemis and aqualad are beta we will checkout the shipment,
Bialya has a strict anti vigilante laws and even stricter observation of comms so maintain radio silence at all times, miss m will set up a mental link. Done red hood head in his head as miss Martian linked all of them telepathically

You'll get used to it Artemis said to him and let out a light chuckle
Alright team we've got our mission move out Aqualad said as they head to the bio ship
Earlier
"Yeah, that's true," Nightwing nodded, leaning against the desk. "But he's not just tough; he's got a heart under all that anger. He's been through hell, and I think he's ready to channel that into something good."
Wally munched on his chips, raising an eyebrow. "So, what's his deal? Is he gonna be all broody and moody, or can we expect some fun?"
Artemis crossed her arms, looking intrigued. "I mean, if he's anything like you, he might need to lighten up a bit."
"Trust me," Nightwing replied with a grin. "He's got potential. Once he sees how we operate as a team, I think he'll warm up. Plus, being around all of you might help him find his way."
Connor shrugged, still skeptical. "I hope you're right. We can't have someone who's just gonna bring the team down."
"Don't worry," Nightwing said confidently. "He'll fit right in
BIALYA 18:30
Aqualad nightwing Artemis redhood do you read me miss Martian said in their heads ,lound and clear miss M nightwing said back alpha squad has made contact with luthor and Queen Bee
Miss Martian said again as she observed luthor and Queen bee mingling and talking across the massive hall they had the party in
It seems to be a who's who of dictators and political figures, crazy to think luthor has this many connections Wally west thought
This is lex luthor we're talking about it'd be weirder if he didn't have these connections Artemis said back
Beta squad is just above drop zone Aqualad said as the biship made a whole for them to jump out of, Artemis you stay here with bioship and provide arial cover and incase we need immediate extraction Aqualad said as he jumped out of the ship, redhood followed behind and nightwing right after him deploying his wing suit attached to his costume while redhood deployed the parachute he jumped down in
They landed 20 miles from the warehouse where the shipment is to be landed
Do you have eyes on the shipment Aqualad asked,scanning redhood said as he activated the infrared scanners in his shiny red mask
Bingo he said and looks like we have a problem
What is it nightwing said I've made out what seems to be the shipment a cargo plane the guards are getting on it now and there's one more thing they've got a zeta tube , whatever it is they're planning to get it out of there as soon as possible, that is trouble we've got to figure out what's on that shipment and stop them from zetabeaming it out of there, "uh oh" redwing said, whats wrong nightwing thought, redhood zoomed in deeper, and said it's bane" he's here
Babe! Kid flash exclaimed in his head you guys be careful Megan thought, should I come over I could help, negative sb nightwing thought beta squad can handle this, this is a covert op if everything goes according to plan he won't even know we're here

Beta Squad heads closer to the warehouse where the shipment of supposed X drugs should be. They move stealthily, using the cover of darkness and their training to avoid detection. As they approach the warehouse, they notice guards patrolling the perimeter. Nightwing uses his skills to create distractions, confusing the guards and allowing the team to slip past unnoticed.
Once inside, they quietly make their way to the plane. Surprisingly, they manage to slip on board without Bane or any of the guards noticing. However, what they find inside is far more disturbing than a shipment of drugs. Holy shit nightwing thought what is it miss m asked concerned metahuman teens, all wearing meta-dampening collars, looking scared exhauseted night wing thought back damn luthor kid flash said
As redhood looked at the teens locked in cages he couldn't help but remember his days on the street before it all before joker before the Lazarus pit before he stumbled upon the Batmobile and tried to steal the rims, before any of that he could've been one of these kids, it made him sick to his stomach
Aqualad, taking in the scene, quickly realizes the gravity of the situation. "Change of plans," he says, his voice steady but urgent. "We're getting these kids out of here." He turns his hand to his head and contacts Artemis on the ship. "Artemis, bring the ship around. We need to move fast."
Artemis responds, "On my way, Aqualad. Hang tight."
Meanwhile, Red Hood and Nightwing start working on removing the collars from the teens. Each collar is complex, but with Red Hood's technical skills and Nightwing's agility, they manage to free a few of the teens quickly.
Just as they are making progress, Aqualad receives a message from Alpha Squad. Wally's voice comes through the comms, tense but controlled. "We've tailed Lex Luthor and Queen Bee. They're heading underground. It looks like they have a secret base or meeting spot. We may need backup."
Aqualad responds, "Understood, Wally. We're dealing with a situation here—metahuman teens being trafficked. We'll extract them and join you as soon as we can."
Wally replies, "Copy that. Be careful, Aqualad. We'll hold our position until you arrive."
As the extraction ship arrives, Beta Squad begins to carefully load the teens onto it, making sure everyone is safe. The clock is ticking, and they know they need to move fast to prevent any reinforcements from arriving. Well well well the three hero's turned behind to see bane looking at them at the entrance of the cargo plane
Artemis how long till you get here eta 10 minutes Artemis said, make it 5 Aqualad replied and he formed 2 water hammers at his hands red hood on me nightwing work on getting those dampeners off
Well things just got a whole lot interesting as bane pumped himself full of venom increasing his size and redhood pulled out his 2 glocks from his side holster
Aqualad steps forward, his water bearers at the ready. "We're here to stop you, Bane. This ends now."
Red Hood, standing beside Aqualad, draws his guns, his eyes locked on Bane. "You're going down, Bane. One way or another."
Bane charges forward with incredible speed for his size, aiming a powerful punch at Aqualad. Aqualad deflects the blow with his water bearers his water hammers still in his hand, raising a wall of water which bane punched,the force of the impact sending shockwaves through the air. Red Hood moves swiftly, firing at Bane's legs to slow him down, but Bane's armor absorbs most of the bullets, tickes bane said start up the zeta tube bane yelled
Nightwing, meanwhile, continues working on removing the collars from the teens, his hands moving quickly and efficiently. "Keep him busy, guys!" he shouts over his shoulder. "We need more time!"
Bane, undeterred by the gunfire, swings his massive arm at Red Hood, who narrowly dodges the attack. Red Hood counters with a series of acrobatic moves, landing a kick to Bane's side. Bane grunts but grabs Red Hood by the arm, lifting him off the ground and throwing him across the warehouse. Red Hood crashes into a stack of crates, groaning in pain but quickly getting back to his feet.
Aqualad takes advantage of the distraction, using his water bearers to create a powerful blast of water that hits Bane square in the chest, pushing him back. Bane stumbles but quickly regains his footing, his eyes narrowing in anger. "You think you can defeat me?" He holds off the water blast with one hand while he grabs a crate and tosses it at Aqualad who rolls out of the way
Red Hood, now back on his feet, joins Aqualad in the fight. They work in tandem, their movements synchronized. Aqualad uses his water bearers to keep Bane off balance, while Red Hood targets Bane's weak points with precise bullet shots at his vitals Despite their efforts, Bane's strength and resilience make him a formidable opponent. Fuck this red hood said switching to lethal bullets as he emptied the cartridge from his glocks and replace them with new ones nth metal bullets he fires a few rounds at bane who blocks with his hand he groans as the bullets penetrate his hand and he begins to bleed hell yeah! Redhood exclaimed his grin turned to confusion as the bullet fired into his arm fell out of his arm and the bullet wounds began to close, shit! Bane began charging him again while he continued shooting him bane used his massive arms to cover his face till he closed the distance between him and redhood who tried to leap away but got caught by bane on his foot bane grabbing redhood by the leg swung him to the floor and made a huge crash jason hit the ground hard and clenched while Aqualad tried to get jason free by launching pressurized water at bane while distracted redhood grabbed a pellet from his belt and threw it on banes face a red foam appeared covering his nose and mouth, it began to grow to cover the entirety of his face, bane dropped redhood trying to claw the foam away as he managed to get just his eyes free the first thing he saw was Aqualad in the air with his two water hammers smashing it into his face Aqualad hit him two more times for good measure before turning the hammers to a mace to try to finish the job and knock bane out, bane however grabbed Kaldur by the neck raising him in the air and suffocating him "nice try fish man" bane said to him holding him up before a downed redhood shot two bullets into the back of babes knees causing him to scream and buckle his grip on kaldur loosened and Kaldur turned his mase into a sword and cut the pipe connected to babes arms and back feeding him his venom, as the green venom leaked bane dropped Aqualad and stumbled backwards
Get the zetatube open now he screamed as the henchmen and guards ran to the computer to do just that
Let's end this redhood said helping Kaldur up gladly Aqualad returned
Bane now much smaller tried to rush the pair of hero's again but this time red hood shot 4 bullets at him two in each thigh he let out a large scream as he knelt in front of the two and Aqualad using his water mace knocked him out, "most impressive" kaldur said to redhood, thanks redhood said replacing his nth metal cartridges with non lethal ones
Breathing heavily, Aqualad and Red Hood exchange a nod of victory. Nightwing joins them, a look of relief on his face. "Great job, guys," he says. "Let's get these kids out of here and rendezvous with Alpha Squad."
As they help the teens onto the extraction ship, Beta Squad knows their mission is far from over. But for now, they've won a crucial battle, and they're ready to face whatever comes next, boom the sound of the zeta tube starting rang through the warehouse bane is getting away the gang turned to see bane limp into the tube and escape
