Summary:
Kyoko still remembers the day how she felt when she saw Ren and that older actress kissing on the TV screen and this time during the filming of Project Route, seeing Ren with another woman made her feel extremely sad.
The orange haired girl didn't realize it was sound of the glass shattering or her own heart. When she innocently followed Ren to premium hotel which was famous to provide complete privacy to celebrities to give him the perfume that he left behind, she wasn't ready for that.
At first she couldn't believe her eyes. She tried to find all kinds of excuses to why Ren, who had promised her that his heart was only for her, was letting another woman hug him. Kyoko was waiting that he might push her away, but in turn he just hugged her back and also buried his face into her shoulders.
Kyoko felt a pang in her chest. She felt like someone was twisting knife into her heart.
After sometime the woman backed up a little only to grab his chin, and moving his face from side to side, Ren said something and her eyes softened.
Kyoko looked on with a heavy heart as that woman brought his face down to kiss his forehead.
But it weren't the actions of the unknown beautiful woman that appalled her, what panged her heart from the inside was the look on Ren's face. He was looking at that woman with the most tender expression possible.
Putting her head infront of her like obedient puppy.
No matter how you looked at this, this moment seemed beautiful and intimate like they were the only people in that world.
Their faces were brimming with emotions of intense happiness and longing.
Suddenly her mind was a frenzy of jumbled memories.
-"No matter where I go or how long it takes my heart will always belong to you." Ren said as he smiled tenderly at her.
-Ren who was sleeping with the sheep pillow she gifted him.
-Ren who always smiled at her tenderly and called her to clarify the second scandal with Kana where they were seen holding hands in the elevator.
She didn't want to believe her eyes.
All the trauma where Sho used to intentionally hang out with other girls came rushing to her.
And the perfume that she was holding fell from her hands as all the energy left her. Tears were steaming down here face before she realised it.
She felt so deeply and agonisingly hurt. Much more hurt then when Kyoko saw that interview of her mother where she admitted that she has no children.
At that time, she cried too much in the arms of that man but what about this time?.

The sound of glass shattering broke the beautiful reunion of Ren and his black haired companion.
They both looked towards the source of sound.
Ren and the beautiful black haired woman were surprised to see Kyoko. However, the girl with eyes as brown as pure honey was not looking fine.
Ren's heart broke when he saw Kyoko in tears. The last time she saw such an expression on her face was when he had returned from Gaum and she was facing a very bad time in her life.
It took him some time to procees what was going on.
From the shattered glass on the ground, he could tell it was the perfume he was going to give to the person he was meeting now. Kyoko might have followed him to give this to him as he said he was going to give this to a very important person today.
"Kyoko chan?"
Ren said unsure.
From his position, it took him some time to realize what she could be thinking.
"How could you? How could you do this..."
Kyoko said while walking forward. Kyoko was brimming with intense rage, she wanted to get a hold of him, shake him and demand answers.
"Oh Ren ,could it be", the stunning woman in short black haired gasped looking shocked and empathetic. Kyoko took one look at the woman, she could not stand it and ran away.
"Kyoko chan, what was she doing here?" the woman said but Ren was already chasing after her.
The woman looked at him in shock. This was really the first time she had seen Ren son like this.
The black haired man had many partners in the past but he never seemed heartbroken whenever they left him.
If their relationship was what she was thinking it was, he is in a serious trouble because she knew how that scene would have looked to a person who didn't know about their relationship.
Kyoko had no energy to run.
She stopped running to catch her breath, the tears were making her vision blurry.
She stiffened as she suddenly felt someone's arms wrap around her from behind.
"Kyoko chan." Ren said while catching her breath.
More tears fell from her eyes. Her emotions were pouring out of her eyes. she just felt so sad.
Ren had his arms around her in a strong hold and was hugging her tightly from behind.
"It's not what you think it is."
"Then what is it?" Kyoko demanded in a hoarse voice.
There was silence.
"Please.. I promise it's not what it looks like."
Ren pleaded.
Kyoko tried to break free,"Let go of me." kyoko said angrily.
"Why are you doing this? She is such a pretty lady, you can just go to her. It's not like we are anything." Kyoko sneeredas she broke free from his hold forcibly
"Why?" She asked in a defeated tone
"How can you do this to me." Kyoko snapped and punched his chest.
'Why?"
Ren grabbed her arms. "Mogami san stop!! Don't you believe in me even a little."
Kyoko stopped and stepped back in resignation.
"So you are going to say it's not that much of a deal for you. Of course it's just an affectionate hug right. That's how it is in the States."
"Mogami san," Ren tried to speak.
"Come to think if it, weren't you kissing Kana sometimes ago?" Kyoko asked him calmly without any emotion. "You could have avoided that if you wanted to"
"Kyoko chan," Ren was shocked why Kyoko was bringing this up while he was already racking his brain to solve the current problem.
"You didn't need to be this nice to her or could it be that you never avoid such things because it's not such a big deal for you?" She continued.
Ren was stupefied at what he was hearing. In his mind he had totally put the lid over incident of Kana.
"Are you going to say that she took advantage of you? Does that mean any woman can take advantage of you? Kyoko asked wih stone cold eyes.
Only Silence answered her back
"I don't think I can deal with this." Kyoko said with the new waves of sadness and despair hit her.
"I won't be able to take this." Kyoko continued.
In Kyoko's heart, all hope was lost. There was no way it could be solved now. She was feeling so miserable. Even though she vowed to herself she wouldn't have such cursed feelings for anyone.
Why?
Kyoko felt new tears coming up as the scene where Ren held her hands that was holding the 'Queen Rosa' locket came to her mind. How could he smile at her with such loving eyes yet still go on and hug the other girls
?
Before Kyoko's could fall deeper into the despair, Ren came forward and hugged her tightly.
"She was my mother, that woman you just saw."
Kyoko heard him say and her tears stopped.
"I am sorry, I will behave. I will not let myself be take advantage of. I promise I would keep my distance just like Japanese people do." Ren said desperately trying to make her believe in him.
He felt like she would just disappear at any time now and he would never be able to find her.
He didn't want to let her go, not because of his own riduculous stupidity.
Ren hugged her tightly like that one time when she was playing Setsuka and he was playing Cain.
After some time, Kyoko calmed down. Being in Ren's arm had such a calming effect on her always.
When he confessed that women was her mother, she instantly felt like her pain and those crushing feelings in her heart had vanished.
Also Kyoko had unexpectedly let the burden off her chest about how she felt when she saw him kissing Kana.
If Ren hadn't apologized and vowed to behave properly after that, she didn't think she could have completely trusted him again, ever.
Kyoko knew Ren had his circumstances and maybe he didn't wanted to talk about his mother to anyone, yet he still took a risk and told her to clear up the misunderstanding between them.
'Perhaps he really likes me,' thought Kyoko while blushing.
Then she realized it was a silly things to think, of course he did like her that's why he chased after her to confess his feelings that day in the elevator.
In the first place it was her, who barged into his private meeting space and assumed things on my own even though she only wanted to give him the gift he left behind.
"Kyoko chan we need move." Ren said an Kyoko realized she was hugging Ren all this time and her face got red
"Yes."
They immediately began walking outside to avoid other people. Neither of them realized that they were still holding hands .
"I am sorry, it's all my fault.I shouldnt have come after you." Kyoko said as they were leaving while 'holding hands'.
"It's alright. I feel bad that you felt this pain because of me. I should have explained earlier." said Ren.
"And I am sorry about the incident with Kana too." Ren continued. "I judged you too harshly when I saw the picture of you kissing Sho yet I didn't held myself accountable for something similar. I even criticized you for that even though I didn't offer any apology for that kissing incident with Kana myself."
Ren said looking down. Kyoko had always admired this mature part of Ren. He was quick to apologize and make amends.
"Would you believe in me from now on?"
Ren asked while looking at her.
Kyoko nodded while smiling.
"As long as you follow the actors rule of heart." said Kyoko in mock strict tone
Ren smiled back and brought this hands up to kiss the bac of her hands that he was holding.
And they kept walking hand in hand.
"But Tsuruga san, your mother was so pretty and gorgeous, can you blame me for thinking that way?"
"Yeah you are right." Ren mused.
He was glad that Julie had taken the precaution to dye her hair, otherwise it would have been very difficult to explain everything.
Suddenly Kyoko's smiling face morphed into that of a despair. Ren who used to her bizzare antics didn't panick at all.
"Oh no, I broke the perfume you brought for your mother, she must think I am a terrible person." Kyoko cried out.
"Don't worry about that. I was already having second thoughts about that." said Ren coolly.
"Even though you asked me to cast a magic on it and make it pretty?"I can at least pay you back." Said Kyoko
"Hmmm." Ren hummed totally not thinking about the perfume that was worth 5 million dollars. It just hit him at that moment that they were walking hand in hand and he felt like life was wonderful and dazzling at this moment.
"You can pay me back in some other way," Ren said smiling radiantly, looking ahead.
"Some other time in the future."Ren said while touching his lips
Kyoko got a déjà vu as Ren's image overlapped with Corn for a moment, when shamelessly demanded a kiss in Gaum while putting a finger on his lips.
Needless to say, Ren managed to make Kyoko avoid him for the rest for the day after that with this tease.
"Kyoko chan, what is she doing here?" the woman said surprised but her son was already chasing after her.
Julie looked at him in shock. This was really the first time she had seen her son like this.
If their relationship was what she was thinking it was, he was in a serious trouble because she knew how that scene would have looked like to a person who didn't know about their relationship.
She shrugged, well he would handle this somehow and she really hoped that he did.
Kyoko was her fairytales bestfriend after all.
She saw her son after a long time and also saw her something interesting, She can't wait to tell Kuu about this when be gets home.
'Sacrificing my long blonde glittering locks was a smile price to pay' Sarah thought smiling as her short black hair fluttered in the wind.
