The sound of earth crushing under Kagome's weight harmonized with the forest's song. Her thoughts running a mile a minute.
We. Are. Done.
The love I once had for you … it's gone.
Go back to your clay whore.
It had to be done. But she didn't expect saying the words to feel so … riveting. It's like with those cruel words spilling from her lips, she was free. Free to go home. Free to love. Free to -
Love?
Mine.
Those eyes that held each wave of the ocean, darkening with his fury, his bloodlust. His desire. Those eyes that demanded her attention and made her blood run hot. Those eyes that looked … sad? Sad to see her leave?
Did he want me to stay?
She thought of every touch, every heated gaze, the way her lips molded so perfectly against his, his delicious assault on her body. The way he demanded something she didn't know how to give but gave it so willingly.
At what point, she wondered, did the line between them blur.
When in her time as his captive did the mercenary brand himself in her mind and body?
Would I have stayed?
Kagome couldn't answer her own question. The only thing she knew was that she wanted to go home.
Home to her family, where her mother could hold her and tell her everything is okay. Where her grandfather would promise to defend her against every demon and spell. Souta would probably ask questions about Inuyasha, but she knew he would understand as he got older.
Maybe I can come back and visit. That is if he would even want to see me.
Just a little further and she'll be home.
Home. Home. I can't wait to go ho-
Kagome's thoughts stopped as she broke through the tree line, the Bone Eater's Well just ahead.
"Keh! Took you long enough, I was starting to get a little bored."
A red-eyed Inuyasha sneered at her as he lounged lazily against a pile of rubble.
Tears welled in her eyes and a sob stuck in her throat as she stared past the hanyou.
The Bone Eater's Well.
It was … destroyed. Her only way home - gone.
Inuyasha smirked at Kagome's broken expression.
"Ho- how c-could you …" She whispered through her tears.
"I didn't like the way you left things, Kagome. You hurt me so … I decided to hurt you." Inuyasha's smile was cruel. Her damaged heart taking another hit.
I … hurt … HIM!? I FINALLY TELL HIM TO GO FUCK HIMSELF FOR BREAKING MY HEART AND HE SAYS I HURT HIM!?
Anger Kagome had never known before coursed through her veins like a poison. A faint glow of pink simmered around her body as she trembled. Inuyasha quirked a brow at the shift in her aura but never dropped his cocky grin.
He took everything away from me.
Her eyes, while filled with tears, were cold and murderous as she looked at him. It was a look Bankotsu would be proud of.
Quickly, she notched an arrow and released it at the unexpecting hanyou.
"DIE, INUYASHA!" She screamed.
He wasn't expecting her to attack him, but he deflected the attack with ease. His smirk grew at her attempt. The very sight bringing him back fifty years. The day Kikyo said those exact words.
She notched another arrow and fired.
Dodged.
Another.
Deflected.
"What's the matter, Kagome? I thought you were better than this." Inuyasha taunted.
He kept deflecting her attacks, stepping closer and closer to the priestess. She didn't stop her attacks. Even when he stepped within reach, she striked.
He knocked her bow out of her grasp and wrangled her to the ground, straddling her hips and pinning her wrists in both hands.
"Kagome … that wasn't very nice." His tone sent a chill through her. He had her completely at his mercy, she couldn't fight back like this.
His grip on her right wrist tightened painfully causing her to grit her teeth. Seeing her in obvious pain and panic made his body thrum with excitement. He wanted to see more of it. He twisted her wrist sharply; the sound of bones breaking was loud. Kagome screamed in agony, and Inuyasha's chest rumbled with laughter. He repeated the action with her left wrist. Her screams and cries ringing through the forest.
He released them, laying limp at her sides as she continued to wail. Seeing her so helpless and broken made his body hot, his member grew at the sight of Kagome's pained and pathetic state. The malevolent glint in Inuyasha's demonic red eyes promising pain.
He took his sharpened claws to the front of Kagome's kimono and ripped. The flimsy fabric falling away from her bare body. She barely had a moment to register what he'd done before his claws sliced the skin of her abdomen. He swiped his claws against her thigh, ripping the skin. Blood leaked from her wounds, soaking the ground and torn fabric below her. Her cries and pleads falling on deaf ears.
Inuyasha wrapped a hand around her throat, silencing her, as he freed himself from his hakamas.
"I- in- inuyasha … p - ple-ease … stop." Kagome begged, his grip tightened around her throat.
"Stop? Stupid girl, I'm just getting started." He snarled right before slamming himself into her. His member ripping through her body, obliterating the barrier that held her innocence. Kagome screamed, but no sound came.
It … it hurts.
Tears poured from her eyes as Inuyasha pulled out, blood coating his manhood. He grinned at the sight before he slammed back into her. He repeated the motion a couple thrusts before releasing her throat, bringing his hands to her hips. He gripped her tightly as his thrusts grew faster and harder, his claws piercing the delicate skin, drawing more blood.
It wasn't supposed to be like this. My first time was supposed to be special. My virginity was supposed to be given willingly. Now he really has taken everything from me.
Her whimpers only drove Inuyasha further. He felt his orgasm coming and thrusted even harder, ripping the defenseless girl's insides and leaving his mark where she can never get him out.
Kagome's eyes started to fall. The pain, the blood loss, the toll on her mind and body, all became too much. Her vision started to blur.
Inuyasha pulled himself free from Kagome's body and stood, fixing his hakamas and chuckling at the broken girl on the ground.
"Thanks for the fun, Kagome. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to get back to my clay whore."
He walked away, not sparing another glance at the girl he tore apart.
Kagome laid limp on the blood-soaked earth, her tears never seeming to stop. Her vision continued to blur and the pain in her body slowly started to cease as she began to lose consciousness.
Is this the end? Is this how I'm going to die? Broken, beaten, and defiled in front of the remnants of the home I once had. Of the family I'll never see again. Mom … Souta … Grandfather … I wish I could see you one last time.
A set of dark blue eyes flashed in her mind.
Bankotsu … I wish … I wish we could …
At that moment, everything went black.
She snapped the reins, urging the horses to move quickly.
"The Kamis cry tonight," The skies were graying, and the cloud's roars shook the trees. "Something terrible has happened. I'd better get home fast."
Snapping the reins once more, the horses pulling the carriage moved a little faster. The rain fell faster but Mei could still see the terrain clearly. Something caught her eye, up on the hillside. It looked like a person.
They'll get the sickness if they stay out in the storm.
She pulled the reins slowing the carriage to a stop before rushing out to the stranger. As Mei got closer, the color drained from her face.
Oh, my gods.
A young girl laid unconscious on the soaked ground. Her clothes ripped, her skin torn, and crimson coating her skin.
Please be alive!
Mei could feel her heartbeat. It was weak but there nonetheless.
I have to get her to Master, or else she'll die out here.
Careful not to worsen her wounds, Mei lifted the young girl into her arms and hurried to the carriage where she laid her under the cover. Thunder roared as Mei quickly examined her injuries.
What kind of demon could do this? Such a young maiden, you didn't deserve this.
She had to hurry.
Snapping the reins once again, they continued their journey home.
Please, Kami, don't let me be too late.
Looking back at the girl, her chest still moving with weak breaths.
"Just hold on a little longer, I promise everything will be okay!"
Mei kept snapping the reins with urgency and soon enough, they had arrived.
"MASTER!"
The older man emerged from the house, hand on the hilt of the sword at his side ready to face whatever threat laid outside his home. But there wasn't a threat. His pupil returned from her journey, and in her arms, was a girl.
"Hurry, Master! She's dying!"
The girl was covered in blood and her kimono ripped to shreds. The work of demons no doubt. He ran to his pupil, pulling the unconscious girl from Mei's arms.
"Quickly, Mei! Fetch my kit, and prepare some hot water and herbs."
Mei ran inside to prepare the items her Master asked, while he laid her down on the futon inside. She was cold to the touch and her breathing was labored. As he began to wipe the blood from her body, her injuries became clear, including the tearing between her thighs.
Kamis. Who could've done this to you, child?
Mei returned with her master's medical kit, hot water and herbs. He quickly got to work.
"Hold on, child. Keep fighting, you're safe now."
