Demon Lord Shenanigans

Grim's POV*

Since Milim declared that she was staying there's been a small amount of chaos. However it was mainly her Shion, Shuna and Venus getting hyper over sugar that gave me and my dear a decent laugh.

(Looks like I'll have to make up the Apple-Köuten when we get closer to winter dear.) i said to Flora though the bond as she leaned on my shoulder while chuckling.

(Indeed.)

The next scare happened during a meeting we were hold regarding Milim and the other demon lords. She effectively kicked the door down while still somewhat undressed because she alongside Shion and Shuna went to the baths together. But before anything that is considered private showed itself Flora covered my eyes with her hands before whispering in my ear something I both can't wait for but also fear.

"Now dear we don't want to be viewing any other women now would we~. Especially since I'm wanting to relax tonight anyway~."

Once Milim ran off and it was also decided to let Rimuru deal with her since she seems entirely interested in only his attention.

With that the meeting ended and My dear and I went home. Zino was also gone at the moment, probably hanging out with her brother or the fated 4 pair.

But before anything could get out of hand we collapsed on the couch and began to talk to each other.

"It's been nearly a year since we came here my dear." I said.

"What of it?" She asked. I then smiled before producing a pair of rings that i had commissioned the Dwarf brothers to make. They were replicas of the ring that I had proposed with back in the old world.

Flora's mouth dropped open before starting to cry. When she started I took her up into a tight hug before whispering nothings into her ears. When she calmed down a few minutes later I led her out the door to our picturesque view of a backward with a view both out to Dundorma but also to a valley behind the house. My timing couldn't have been better as just as i got done on my knee to reproduce my proposal the sun had entered the cusp of the valley as it drifted down.

"Flora Tempest, would you honor this lowly Wyvern had accept my declaration of my love everlasting?"

She gave a blinding smile as she answered, "Of course my king. But you need not kneel to your queen as we are equal in this endeavor."

I then chuckled to myself as I got off my knee and placed the ring on my love's finger and she did the same to the other ring onto mine. We then kissed as the sun finally set.

We then went back into the house and proceeded to have a rather passionate night together.

A/N I know that on one of the places where i'm going to post this someone is gonna ask the obvious question. And the answer is no.

The next day came soon enough. And as we both took a quick bath together in the rather spacious tub. We got dressed for the day and began to walk the streets. Soon enough we also found Rimuru after he had dropped off Milim with Shuna so Milim could find something more permanent to wear.

It didn't take long for Rimuru to notice the rings on our fingers and spoke.

"So when's the wedding?" He asked in a hushed to as to not draw attention to it.

My love then spoke, "That is to be decided at the moment I was planning on asked for Venus's and Gamma's help for the decorations and other amenities."

I then spoke when she was finished, "I'm going to be dealing with the actual location and time. But we are thinking about it in a few months."

We continued walking as we went some of the citizens bid us a good morning. Only a few saw the rings on our fingers but I put a finger to my mouth so they know to keep quiet.

We then picked up Kaijin as we then head to the sealed cave that as been transformed into a place for both production and the study of the healing potions made from the Hipkote herbs.

When we entered the cave we encountered Gabiru who had backed of from Flora enough for the annoyance to fade. And while he and his men grew the herbs they did not study them.

As we walk into a small lab Rimuru speaks, "How goes the work, Vesta?"

Vesta was a minister in Dwargon that had framed Rimuru and the dwarf brothers that had led to them being exiled. The reason as to why he is here is because a few days after we had signed the treaty with Gazel he and his knight came to visit with a gift.

That gift being Vesta in a burlap sack we had been given him due to the fact that he was too useful to let sit idle in Dwargon.

After some light conversation as Vesta was digging through his lab he eventually displayed the fruit of his labor a potion of healing. Rimuru ate it to confirm it's purity and it is a near identical match of what he can produce.

After some more light conversation between Kaijin and Vesta who have both put their pasts behind them. We then used the teleported system that Vesta had developed to warp not far outside of town.

however as we arrived a giant flame pillar erupted from the center of Dundorma so we rushed over there to see what was happening.

As we landed and the wings we summoned dissipated Soei appeared and told us happened up to the present moment.

Appertly a group of Majin under Demon Lord Clayman thought that they could claim our city for him. And when Rigurd approached and asked if he was joking the leader of the Majin struck him. We then looked over at Rigurd who was on the ground but who looked up to speak.

"My lords. Why, this is nothing! I feel nothing."

he said this while half his face is missing. Rimuru healed him with a potion before we looked over to where the Majin were and saw Milim standing there with one of the Majin, to be specific the leader, on the ground unconscious.

"My lords," Shuna called to us as she was pushing through the crowd, "I'm very sorry my lords. When she detected the presence of intruders, she lept before I could stop her."

"I don't think anyone could stop her, Shuna." I said as I said that I noticed that the Majin were looking concerned for their leader and Milim also noticed our presence.

"Rimuru, Flora, Grim! He was being extremely rude, so i gave him a good and proper spanking."

I could tell Rimuru was nursing a headache and I could feel one coming in.

"She was protecting me. Please do not be cross with her." Says Rigurd

Soei then spoke up, "They claimed to be the followers of Demon lord Carrion. They did attack first, but depending on how they report back, it might make Carrion's impression of us worse."

Flora then casted a look over to Milim before she spoke, "Dear, what did we say about using violence without our permission."

"HWEH?! But … but no, this was different! They're not from this town, so it doesn't count … it doesn't count!"

"It counts, kid, but we'll be lenient. No lunch Milim." I said this in the best fatherly tone that i could muster.

This caused Milim to pout but she stayed put, surprising that she listened to me but she did puff up her cheeks. We then moved the Majin into a meeting room so we could actually converse and learn why they were here.

{My lords,} Advisor said, {Phobio is stronger than Benimaru in terms of energy.}

Phobio himself was sitting in a stool in front of us looking like the pinnacle of arrogance.

Rimuru then spoke, "So why are you here."

"I don't have to answer to a lowly slime."

When he said that Shion and Benimaru's energies exploded and i could tell that Venus and Gamma weren't far behind.

"All of you stand down." I said.

Phobio then opened the dump that is his mouth.

"Hah! You actually obey these puny monsters. It must suck to be as weak as you lot!"

My love then spoke, "Form how your speaking your master must be strong."

"What? You bet your asses he is, don't tell me you never heard the name Carrion before."

After that I spoke, "Then you should watch your tongue. You were the aggressors. Your action could cause immediate hostilities with us depending on the outcome if this meeting. Is the deck on to go to war with the great forest of Jura your decision or Carrion's?"

Phobio's face scrunched with barely restrained anger.

"Shall we gather the Dryads and have them prove our claim to this territory?"

Phobio took a breath and sighed before telling us that they were there under Carrion's orders.

Milim looked like she was about to start something so Flora stymied them.

"You speak in this meeting and you getting dinner will be a memory."

Then the meeting continued and Phobio told us why they were sent, to try and recruit us or the Orc Lord depending on who won the battle. Meaning Milim isn't the only demon lord who spectated the battle.

We then sent Phobio away with a message for Carrion, we are willing to talk on another day.

However Phobio seems to be equal parts prideful and also arrogant. And we just told him to effectively pound sand.

After he left we asked Milim to tell us more about Carrion which she was reluctant about until we prosed her a new weapon as proof of our friendship.

Apprently the Orc Lord was engineered to become a 'puppet' demon lord by a few of the other demon lords.

After some more conversation Milim eventually feel asleep on Rimuru. Seeing this we wished them a good night .

little did we know of the approaching storm that would try to devour our town.
