Young Arthur finished up studying for an exam and was ready to call it a night while stalking him from a glass box was The Master still in snake form. He appreciated Arthur watts for giving him a comfortable space but now it was time to commence his plan and his return to the world.
Was it going too far for The Master to kill a young boy and take over his body as his own? Yes.
Did The Master care? No.
About an hour has passed and young Arthur Watts was finally sleeping in what would unfortunately be his last. The Master moved the original position of the log that Arthur gave him as a resting spot and placed it by the corner of the lid. Using it's tail, The Master turned the log around as it quietly and successfully opened enough space for him to escape.
The Master quietly slithered out of the glass box and began to make its way towards the bed of Arthur Watts. He studied the young boy to know he acts, how he speaks, and how very well his mind is.
A new body. At last.
He slithered his way up to the bed and observed the sleeping teenager. He was sleeping peacefully and in his sleep he would leave this world peacefully.
The Master hissed before lunging itself into the mouth of Arthur Watts, similar to how he possessed Neo in the Ever After. Arthur Watts felt the jolt in his head as if he got impaled by something sharp before falling limp on the bed.
Young Arthur Watts died in his sleep, never getting to grow up, never getting the future he wanted, never getting to spend more time with people he cared for.
For it was all taken away by The Master who finally had a new body. One that was wrongfully taken but it did not matter to him at all. He was back and he was glad.

The last thing he remembered was fighting the Doctor before Kilg%re possessed Weiss Schnee and used her powers to freeze time and everyone included. He heard the fingers snap once again and stumbled a bit before looking around and his eyes widened to see that the holotrap no longer made it look like Atlas...but his original home world.
The Master: Gallifrey.
The Doctor: Just as it was. Just as it looked before the Time War.
The Master heard the Doctor's voice and instantly turned around to see himself surrounded by all of the heroes with no sign of any Grimm or Kilg%re.
The Master: KILG%RE?! KILG%RE?
The Doctor: He's gone. Fell for the old ego trap and is now locked away in a typical Time Lord Anti-Virus program.
The Master: *grunts* Good for nothing. *breathes* Well done, all of you. It would seem that at last, our game has come to an end.
Ruby: You won't be going anywhere either.
Superman: This holotrap was built to trap both you and Kilg%re but with him gone, you'll have this place all to yourself.
The Master: Do you truly believe a place like this can keep me trapped? You are mistaken and you somehow still underestimate me. *Looks at the Doctor* No sympathy or second chance for me, my dear Doctor?
The Doctor: You are one of the most evil and corrupt beings the Time Lords have ever produced. Your crimes are outnumbered and your villany without end. What part of your mind truly thinks I would give YOU a chance. After what you tried to do with the cruciform, what you did to the real Arthur Watts, and what you did to all of those lives affected in Remnant.
The Master: *chuckles* Why thank you for all the amazing achievements you have listed for me. I already understand that you know me well, Doctor. But I am glad you made it very clear to the rest of who I am and what I can do.
The Master pulled out a small box and opened it, only for gasps and widened eyes to emerge from everyone as The Master had many figurines of different people, notably villains that Justice League, Team RWBY, and Team JNR have faced.
Superman: B-Brainiac...
The Flash: Thawne...
Green Lantern: S-Sinestro...
Cyborg: Slade...
Jaune: Tyrian Callows...
The Master: I offered them all a chance to work with me and become Masters of the universe. They simply looked down on me and believed I didn't have it. I made them understand why I am called The Master.
Blake: All those bad guys...
Ren: Killed by The Master.
The Doctor: Like I told you all in the simulation.
The Master: And I'm just beginning.
The Flash: No, you're not!
The Flash speeds right past the Master which sends him flying to the ground then receiving a few hits from both Team RWBY and Team JNR to fully keep him down.
The Master: *grunts and cackles* I loved that. A good beating just to see you all shatter. To see you all truly afraid of me!
Cyborg: The only one who should be afraid *points my blaster* is you.
Cyborg was ready to fire his weapon which would trap The Master here forever but the Master was not buying it and only continued to laugh like a maniac. He only dropped the act when he looked right at Ruby.
The Master: She waited for you.
Yang: Who?
The Master: I was talking to your sister. She waited for you every night because I told her that you survived the fall and that you would come for her. False Hope, am I right?
Ruby: *eyes widened in anger* You...MONSTER!
Nora: Answer the damn question, who is She?
Jaune: P-Penny...
The Remnant gang including the Doctor fell silent and looked at Jaune who had a shocked expression while Ruby had a mixed one of fear and anger.
Ruby: Where...is...SHE?
The Master: Oh, I'm afraid she waited too long for you, Miss Rose.
Ruby: What do you mean?...What did you do?...WHAT DID YOU DO?
The Master: Nothing much. Just...a simple life changing reward, she treated me well and helped me with taking care of other patients. I will forever be grateful for that.
BLAST!
A sudden blast sent The Master flying once again and crashing onto the ground as the others noticed a distraught and pissed off Jaune using one of his hand blasters to fire at the psychotic time lord.
The Master: *coughs and chuckles* Do all you want to hurt me...it won't work. Trap me here, it won't do anything either.
The Doctor knew something was off when The Master was putting himself in the open. That's when his mind clicked that The Master is pulling the same trick he did against Kilg%re, an AI Model being controlled by the real one.
Superman: But you will tell us what your plan is with Mayor Tremas!
The Master: My plan with Tremas? *chuckles* It's right in front of you all this time!
Batman: *thinks and eyes widened* You're not really here!
The Master: You lot truly believed the Doctor is the only one who can pull those sorts of tricks. We Time Lords sure love to leave a mark to remember. Now the question you wonder is, where am I?
The Doctor: Everyone...go back to the Hall of Justice...
Weiss: What is it?
The Master: *smirks* What A Time To Shine, Tremas.
Before Cyborg can pull the plug, The Master disappears in front of them causing a huge alert of everyone. The Doctor was the only one to display a calm expression but in reality, he was thinking on what should be done.
The Doctor: Everyone go back to the Hall of Justice right now! It was a complete setup by The Master right from the start!
Batman: And with Kilg%re in the way, we did not notice it.
The Doctor: I will still stay by the particle accelerator in case he has something up his sleeves. Find him and stop him.
Jaune: What about you?
The Doctor: Like I said, I'm still staying beneath city hall because The Master always has something planned behind his plan. If we all go right now, we leave the Particle Accelerator open for him. If you all come over here, we leave the Hall of Justice open for him.
Black Canary: But the Rani is there too! She could handle him.
The Doctor: *grunts* JUST DO AS I SAY! There is something going on that The Master is refusing to tell us! He's only giving us clues and toying with us! That is why you need to go back NOW!
The Doctor's outbursts are a very rare thing for those who have been with him. But when he usually goes on an outburst, it's either that he is beyond pissed which is a scary thing or he knows something is up which is also terrifying. Without any objections, the heroes all nodded in agreement and were going to return to the Hall of Justice while the Doctor disconnected himself from the holotrap and immediately went to contact the Rani.
The Rani: Doctor?
The Doctor: Is Tremas with you?
The Rani: Yes, that man has been quiet ever since you left. No questions, no comments, no conversation but that works for me because I got to work easily on our plan.
The Doctor: Rani...is he really there with you?
The Rani: *realizes and turns around* Shit...
The Doctor: Rani, listen to me. Everyone is going to be there soon but our worst fears have come true...Arthur Watts is The Master.
The Rani: *eyes widened* Oh no...
The Doctor: He's been playing with us all this time. He's planned this for decades, he has been waiting for us, he knew and he planned it all.
The Rani: Which means he's planning something behind what we were expecting...
The Doctor: Get here to my location as soon as possible. The others will arrive there to protect Tremas and stop whatever The Master has.
The Rani: And he will come face to face with us...*smirks* Let him come.

The Heroes were all arriving at the Hall of Justice and made their way inside to the main room, only to find it empty. They looked around for both The Rani and Mayor Tremas but there was no sign of them.
Yang: This is not good.
Weiss: Where did they go?
The Flash: Mayor Tremas!
Mayor Tremas: Justice League! *Limps to them*
Green Lantern: You're hurt?!
Superman: What happened?
Mayor Tremas: The Rani, the associate to the Doctor, she attacked me!
Their eyes were in disbelief while anger rose in Team RWBY and Team JNR meaning that the Doctor's attempt to change her was only a waste of time and an easy manipulation.
Wonder Woman: Attacked? How? When?
Mayor Tremas: After not hearing anything from you guys, s-she attacked me and forced me to hand over the access code to the particle accelerator. I refused and tried to call for help but she deactivated all communications for backup. I ended up hurt trying to defend myself but ran away and hide in a safe spot.
Ruby: And the access code?
Mayor Tremas: She managed to get it before I ran...
Yang: That BITCH!
Jaune: All that soft talk from the Doctor believing in her was nothing more than just an act!
Weiss: We have to warn the Doctor!
Blake: There won't be enough time, we need to get there Now!
Green Lantern: Blake's right! I'll jump start to beneath city hall, find the Doctor, and stop the Rani.
Cyborg: We'll stay behind and guard the place and Tremas in case The Master has also something planned here.
The Remnant heroes all nodded as Green Lantern opened the portal to where the Doctor was located as they all jumped through before the portal closed. It was low light and hollow like a cave. They all wasted no time in reaching to the entrance where behind it was the particle accelerator. Once they opened it, they found both the Doctor and the Rani.
Ruby: RANI!
All the heroes were now in front of the Time Lords with their weapons and powers in full motion, aiming right at the Rani which she wasn't intimidated one but while the Doctor stood in front of her to stop them.
The Doctor: Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! What are you doing?!
Weiss: Doctor, get away from her, NOW!
Jaune: No matter who she is, she will never change!
Ren: She's a traitor! Nothing with her has changed!
Blake: She's secretly working with The Master!
The Rani: Pfft! *giggles* Oh please, as if.
The Doctor: What in the name of sanity are you talking about?!
Ruby: SHE ATTACKED TREMAS AND CAME HERE WITH THE ACCESS CODE!
Nora: And she plans to give it to the Master!
That's when the cocky smile of the Rani dropped and both her eyes and the Doctor's were widened in shock and horror.
They were tricked...
The Doctor: Who told you that?
Yang: Who else than the man she tried to kill, Mayor Tremas.
The Doctor: No No No No No No No!
The Rani: You madlads...what have you done?
Confusion began to grow around Team RWBY and Team JNR while the Doctor and the Rani were growing even more concerned.
The Doctor: Guys...that's not the real Mayor Tremas...
Weiss: W-What do you mean n-not real...
The Rani: What A Time To Shine, Tremas. It's all an acronym and a switch up of words! The real meaning behind it is-
STOMP! STOMP! STOMP! STOMP!
Everyone got startled as they heard heavy stomping noises that sounded vaguely familiar...
Nora: What was that?...
Blake: T-That sounded like-
Ren: But it can't be...
Jaune: *scans the dark area* What the hell is that?...
Jaune's mask was able to scan what was hiding the dark but the figure of it was enough to give him chills on his spine. Everyone switched up plans and pointed their weapons and powers to where the noise was coming from.
STOMP! STOMP! STOMP! STOMP!
The figure got closer but still remained in the dark until the Doctor noticed a small part of them displayed in the low light of the room, they were silver boots.

Batman: Something feels off. They have been in the shadows for a while now with no updates.
Vixen: I hope they made it on time...
Superman: I'm with Batman, this all...feels off...something just isn't adding up.
Wonder Woman: Like what?
Superman: The Rani. If what Tremas said is true, then why did she come with the Doctor, why did she willingly helped us, why did she create that trap for Kilg%re.
The Flash: Even she mentioned about no longer wanting to do anything with him.
The Justice League continued to think about their investigation while Mayor Tremas watched on silently with an evil smirk.
Something was about to go horribly wrong. Justice League were still distracted to hear back from the Remnant gang until they emergency alarm goes off followed by the doors closing on them and automatically locking them inside.

The Doctor: There's something standing right there. *Points to the silver boots*
The Rani: *looks and eyes widened* No...
STOMP! STOMP! STOMP! STOMP!
The stomping got closer as out of the shadow emerged a tall figure, all silver with hints of white in some parts, and in the center of it was a giant chest unit attached to its body. It's face had no face at all but instead a white plastic head with only the eyes and mouth visible, topping it off with the cyber-head gear. They all knew what it was but couldn't understand the new look.
Yang: T-That's...
The Doctor: A Cyberman... A Mondasian Cyberman...

Black Canary: *tries to open* It's sealed shut!
Superman went ahead and was about to open the doors with his strength until he was hit by a green wave that sends him flying and collapsing on the ground.
Cyborg: Superman!
Superman: *weakly* K-Kryptonite...
Mayor Tremas: I am deeply sorry Man of Steel but I'm afraid I can't let any of you escape.
The Justice League all watched as Mayor Tremas stood in front of them carrying a large blaster. It was a trap setup by Tremas, shocking the entire Justice League and now believing that The Doctor and his friends have also been placed in a trap.
The rest of the Justice League were about to jump Mayor Tremas until he snapped his finger and a sudden wave of energy blasted throughout the room, freezing the entire Justice League in motion.
The Justice League were now in deep trouble.
Mayor Tremas: I have been waiting for this for quite some time now.

The newly horrifying look of the Cyberman continued approaching the gang as they didn't know what to do exactly as it hasn't attacked them. There was some resemblances to the main Cybermen in Remnant but this one was much terrifying in terms of looks but less bulk in terms of physicality.
Nora: Why does it look so different from the ones we have faced.
The Rani: My dear, never question the Cybermen and its different looks. Each of them is all terrifying and dangerous on its own.
The Doctor: You're brand new! Fresh out of the factory! You're not ready for a fight yet.
Weiss: Its approach says otherwise...
Ruby: Doctor, slowly step back before it does anything!
Mondas Cyberman: Ru-by.
The cyberman finally spoke to the fright of everyone but they were also shocked that its first words to them was saying Ruby's name.
Why did it say her name?
Ruby: Y-You know me?...
Mondas Cyberman: You-Are-Ru-by-Rose.
The Doctor: How do you know her? What is your mission? Where's The Master?

Mayor Tremas: *sighs in relief* The real Mayor Tremas never came back as he's still in Star City for evacuation. When I heard his name, I thought..."What are the odds? I can have fun with this!" You may be the most powerful, smartest, clever group of heroes with such fun villains to battle, but to me, you are all nothing more than just weak inferiors. Not as weak as the human race but still inferior and very predictable.
Mayor Tremas walked around the frozen Justice League, unable to move or speak but could only move their eyes as Tremas hacks into the computers of the Justice League and continues to do his work.
Mayor Tremas: You know, they had it all figured out. The Doctor and The Rani. They were connecting the dots altogether especially as I watched what unfolded in the holotrap. I realize the fun was going to end and so, I thought why not continue playing by spreading lies, causing misfires, and separating the heroes. Little chaos is a wonderful thing. "What A Time To Shine, Tremas." It's not a warning; it's the two names I was going by: One is an acronym and the other...*chuckles* I just switched up the letters.

The Doctor: Listen. We mean you no harm. We're just trying to stop an enemy from approaching this place.
Ruby: And we are trying to find a friend that is being held hostage? Do you know Penny?
Mondas Cyberman: Penny?
Ruby: Penny Polendina! Where is She?
The Doctor: Ruby, Wait! *looks at the Cyberman* You're a Cyberman. You're part of a neural net. Can you find her?

Mayor Tremas: You see, What A Time To Shine in acronym is WATTS as in Arthur Watts. And Tremas is all switched up letters, *scoffs* Like I told you all in the holotrap, It's right in front of you all this time! Or should I say, I was right in front of you all this time!
The Justice League could only make their eyes widened in shock and horror as Tremas grabbed his chin and yanked it out which happened to be a face mask!
It wasn't a middle age man anymore...
It was a young gentleman that looked like in his early 30s.
But his face said it all, despite the slight younger look, the heroes could tell who it was.
For it was a brand new, recently regenerated Arthur Watts or as everyone knows him by...
The Master.

The Rani: Everyone, get back!
Mondas Cyberman: Ac-ces-sing Penny Po-len-dina!
They all moved back but they were desperate for an answer about the whereabouts of Penny, especially Ruby Rose with tears falling from her eyes.
Mondas Cyberman: Lo-ca-ting Penny Po-len-dina!
The Doctor's eyes plunged into horror and heartbreak as the realization hit him. He stumbled a bit which worried the others thinking it was the effects of regeneration...but it wasn't. The Cyberman fully stopped and what it said afterwards plunged all of the Remnant gang into utter heartbreak, shock, and tears.
Mondas Cyberman: I am Penny Po-len-dina!
Tears and Silence fell across the room.

The Master: Hello, Justice League. *smirks* I'm The Master. And I thank you for playing my game. *Presses a button* Checkmate.
The only thing was caught behind the doors into the main room of the Hall of Justice were a red light flashing through followed by screams turned to terrifying growls.

They all stood there, unknown of what to do...their longtime friend...the most kindest soul in Remnant...was now a Cyberman...
Ruby: *tears up* P-Penny...T-Talk to me...Please...
Jaune: What have they done to you...
The Rani: This is what The Master was doing with those ripped apart Cybermen.
The Doctor: He's creating the Mondas Cybermen. His own Cybermen army...
Cyber-Penny: I wai-ted.
The Master: More of a beginning. In fact, do you know what I call it?
Chills, fear, and anger were all displayed by the Remnant gang when they turned around, only to be shocked at the sight in front of them except for the Doctor and the Rani.
A new look for The Master displaying a younger look of Arthur Watts.
Weiss: I-It's still Arthur Watts...
Blake: But younger...like in his early 30s...
The Doctor: Regeneration.
The Master: A brand-new start! Just like Miss Polendina, don't you agree?
The Cyberman responded by walking over to The Master. Anger boiled inside everyone but no one else more than Ruby and Jaune. They wanted to kill The Master on sight and that was the plan as the two flew right towards him.
BOOM!
Only to be struck heavily and sent flying back to the ground, the rest helped both of them up and looked up to their horror of an unnerving sight...
The Justice League have been transformed with Grimm like displays across their bodies and their eyes sharp red.
The Master: Nothing more exciting than infecting the heroes of this world with a Grimm virus that makes them angry, deranged, and vicious like the Grimm. And in case you think it's just them...*cackles* IT'S ALL THE HEROES OF THIS WORLD! A GRIMM INFESTED PLANET!
This world had fallen if The master's words were true that all of the heroes who were protecting lives and trying to the stop the Grimm were now one of them.
The Master: And as for the Cybermen, well, that's a story for another time. Back home where it begins, *smirks* The Genesis of the Cybermen.
The Doctor and The Rani only glared at The Master revealing his full plan to them after the slaughter that was committed to the Cybermen in Vacuo. Cyber-Penny only raised her cyber hand up as it looked like a hand reaching out to Ruby which made more tears fall from her.
Cyber-Penny: I wai-ted for you...
Ruby could only reach her hand out as well knowing very well that nothing was going to change...but for a moment...she saw a glimpse...
Beneath all those Cyber parts that The Master made her...Ruby could still see Penny's eye with a single tear falling as well...
The Master: Grimm League *snaps my finger* Finish them.
