Angel: Alright guys, some big moments in this episode! Hopefully I did them justice. I've addressed if Izuka has a winter costume in season 5, so I'm not gonna answer that again. And I also don't wanna answer anything direct so as to not spoil the storylines of anything I haven't uploaded yet in say, season 6 and beyond. So in regards to Izuku leaving UA, there are things in the second half that people might not expect when it comes to Izuka herself. Don't ask me about them though, because those would be spoilers.
Regarding who would voice Izuka, to be completely honest, I'm not an expert at choosing a voice. And I am surprised that this topic has been brought up more often lately. I am familiar with most of the voice actresses that desiree suggested, but I haven't heard all of them doing whoever they voice. So I don't know who I would pick. For me, the closest voice I would want Izuka to sound like in the anime is Ochaco, someone very cute but can be serious at the same time.
Someone told me that it can be difficult tracking when I update. Normally, I update Fridays and Saturdays usually in the morning for reference. I only upload early when we reach a milestone, this time it was because the number of comments now exceeds my TMNT 2003 story, which is still insane to me. But yeah, hopefully it's not as difficult to keep up with.
"UA...I'm turning myself in," They stared down at Gentle and La Brava still embracing.
La Brava gasped sharply from hearing this, looking up at her partner with teary eyes.
"For what?" Hound Dog stared at the two in confusion, since they couldn't tell what had happened.
"I've seen him before," Ectoplasm recognized Gentle after a few seconds. "He's that villain who's always posting those foolish videos online."
Hound Dog approached them, grabbing Gentle by the collar. La Brava gasped sharply, reaching out to him. "Gentle, no!"
"Who fought you?" Hound Dog demanded, since it was obvious to them that something had happened.
"No one," Gentle denied, but the teacher sniffed around. His nose had smelled blood, so there was definitely an altercation.
"You obviously had some kinda fight around here," He glared down at the villain as he wasn't buying it.
"I told you. I tripped and fell. That's all," Gentle gave him the same fake story.
"It's just you two?" Hound Dog looked around as he couldn't see anyone. All he could see was the crying La Brava.
"That's right..." Gentle weakly murmured, still getting over the effects of reaching the limit from Lover Mode.
"Stop lying!" Hound Dog screamed at him. "Someone else was here before! I've caught the scent of two people from our school." The twins then landed safely with a grunt. The two panted as they headed into the direction of Hound Dog, Gentle, and La Brava. "What did you do with our students?!" Hound Dog demanded towards the villain, who kept silent. The twins came to a stop, panting as they could only stare. Both of them only had minor injures, nothing serious.
"In my years as a scoundrel," Gentle started off, La Brava crawling up to him. "I committed many crimes. But my greatest sin was to kidnap and brainwash the innocent girl you see before you," Gentle held up his hands while La Brava got onto her feet in disbelief. The twins were just as shocked as her, staring at him as they couldn't believe he was giving himself up... "My actions were self-serving, though I claimed to be a gentleman. For I am one who has lived his entire adult life thinking only of himself," He then gave a weak smile, believing that this was for the best. I've lost my will to fight. My dreams...the only thing left of me is the core of my being. A heart that can feel, that beats for someone else. Izuku and Izuka Midoriya. I'm grateful that you two were the ones whom I was able to have my final row. The two siblings stared at him silently, knowing fully well why he was doing this despite what he was saying being not true. "All the blame lies upon my head. So...I implore you." La Brava grabbed his cape, crying as she looked up at him in despair. "Pardon Manami Aiba."
She squeezed her eyes shut as she felt like she was losing him. Gentle! I know you're doing this for my sake! But you can't! Please. Don't! I love you too much...! This isn't fair, Gentle...you know I would never go against your wishes or cause you trouble, but still. She hated having to stay silent, both because of his sacrifice and because she couldn't argue with him...because she would never do that with someone she looked up to so much.
"You're injured too," Ectoplasm noticed the injuries of Izuka and Izuku.
"Did you two fight this man?" Hound Dog shouted at the two, who frowned at Gentle. They didn't want to get the festival cancelled by saying yes, and because...Gentle was doing this for La Brava.
"We realized...that he was going to play a joke on UA," Izuku answered to make it seem better so that they didn't cancel anything. "So yeah, we...sparred. But...everything's fine now."
"We might have taken it a bit too far," Izuka murmured, biting her lip. "But it was the only way we could think of to stop him..."
La Brava sobbed while gripping the cape as she kneeled. It was silence until a phone rang and Ectoplasm answered it. "Hound Dog. Ectoplasm C," It was Snipe as he wanted a status report. "Come in."
"It's Snipe."
"What's the situation?" Snipe was near the entrance of the school.
Two Ectoplasm clones turned to each other and Hound Dog grabbed the phone. "Some wannabe streaming villain's turned himself in."
"Sorry, what?" Snipe had no idea who he was talking about, nor did he understand why a villain would turn themselves in.
"I know. Doesn't make sense," He tossed the phone back to Ectoplasm, earning more confusion from Snipe.
"Huh?"
"Relax," Ectoplasm answered next, deciding to not cause alarm. "This is not an emergency. Please continue to do your rounds."
"You can tell us more at the police station!" Hound Dog escorted Gentle away, La Brava still crying while Ectoplasm took her away too.
"Izuku and Izuka Midoriya," Gentle spoke up, shocking the two for him addressing them. "I too once trained to be a hero. This identity, Gentle Criminal, is the result of my failures," He closed his eyes, feeling like he only had himself to blame for how this turned out.
"It's for your dream," Izuku reminded the man as the two grabbed him by the shoulders, knocking him towards the ground. "So what? Nothing else matters except that? You'll take the happiness away from a girl who doesn't even know how to smile yet?"
"Yes, you should work for your dream...but I'm doing that too!" Gentle looked towards Izuka wide-eyed. "It's mine to be able to get past my fear of crowds, and the School Festival is supposed to help me do that! I'm scared, but I still wanna do it because it'll help me!"
"I'm in no position to say this," He started off while walking away. "But I hope through your actions, you reach those you are hoping to reach. And that you, young lady, will wow that crowd with who you are." They stared as Izuku wiped off the blood from his nose. Izuka rubbed the top of her head as it still hurt a little. "I wish you a bright future."
Izuka let out a small sigh after hearing that. Hearing it from a villain was certainly something she thought she'd never experienced...
"All Might was worried about you two," Ectoplasm informed the twins, earning sharp gasps. "Class A's performance starts at 10, correct? That's a little over half an hour away. But from here, you two can get to school in about 5 minutes."
"Uh, yeah, sorry, but I dropped the bag of things we left school to buy!" Izuku ran off to find it and Izuka ran after him.
"Crap, we still need that!"
"Where is it? I'll assist you," The teacher offered them, running along with the two as it was now 9:25 AM.
Gentle Criminal...he was a difficult opponent...
Not because he was anything compared to Shigaraki or All for One...but because of what his goals were...
"Wait. The Midoriyas aren't back yet?" Mr. Aizawa asked in confusion as Mirio and Eri were looking for them.
"All they had to do was buy rope!" Hanta was getting frustrated, as were the others a little bit. "What's taking so long?"
"I mean, for real!" Toru shouted as she agreed with him.
Katsuki glanced over at them, gritting his teeth. He wished he didn't worry so much, but Izuka made it difficult in times like this...
I think I figured out why we had a tough time facing him. It wasn't just his strength. It's because... They came to a stop while finding a camera near a tree. We could've turned out just like him. Gentle and I have a lot of the same thoughts and feelings.
Honestly, when I think about it...if Izuku was worse off than he was after hearing All Might answering if he could be a hero...he would've been just like Gentle. If he hadn't gotten the words he needed to hear Izuka's eyes softened towards her brother as she watched him pick up the camera...it belonged to La Brava.
The two returned back to the convenience store at 9:35 AM, where the cafe owner had kept their stuff, thank god.
In the end, what he cared about most was protecting the person he loved.
I honestly related to it a lot...not that I love Katsuki or anything!
Denki managed to put the band shirt over Katsuki.
As for us...
The twins and Ectoplasm ran back to the school, making it to the entrance. Yuga was waiting for them, along with Ochaco and Momo. Yuga had Izuku's clothes, and the girls had Izuka's mascot costume. "Midoriya, Mido! There you are!" Yuga exclaimed once they saw the two.
"Deku, Mido!" Ochaco ran up to the girl, along with Momo.
"We were getting so worried!" Momo exclaimed as the two girls hugged her.
"Guys! Sorry we're so late!" Izuku apologized to the three.
"Sacre bleu!" Yuga's eyes widened as he got a good look at them. "You two look terrible!"
"Uh, we fell down!" Izuku lied; if they said they got into a fight, they'd freak out their class...
"You were supposed to be early to get into your costume, are you sure you're alright?" Momo frowned at Izuka a little.
"I'm not, but let's do this!" She pumped her fists.
"What clumsy people you are," Yuga shook his head slowly. "Here. Get changed. Everyone is waiting!"
"Right," Izuku took his costume from Yuga. "Thank you!"
"All the girls will help out," Ochaco offered Izuka as she and Momo guided her away.
"Thank you," Izuka sighed in relief at them. They all started running past all the stands.
"Wait! Those scrapes!" Ectoplasm reminded the twins. "And do you two plan to perform covered in dirt?" They stopped and glanced back at the teacher. "Everyone will be worried about you instead of the show. You have to get healed up." It was now 9:50 AM. "Do that first."
"I wonder what Class 1-A's performance will be like," A student commented while passing by Chikuchi and Tsutsutaka, the students Katsuki overheard badmouthing Class 1-A. They didn't look too happy to hear about Class 1-A again.
"I'm kind of excited to see it! I hear that Izuka Midoriya is gonna be singing, though..."
"Really? Well, I always thought that picture was fake, so hopefully she does well," The first student remarked, earning a huff from Tsutsutaka. He then walked off with Chikuchi to go see them.
"Aizawa," Toshinori walked up to Mr. Aizawa, waving a hand. "Young Midoriya and Mido are back."
"I heard. We shouldn't have any delays then."
Mirio flinched and looked over his shoulder. Eri was gripping his sleeve. "Deku and Mido are still going to dance, aren't they?" She asked in a bit of worry.
"Don't you worry," Mirio smiled towards the little girl. "They're gonna get down. Mido still wouldn't tell me what she's doing, but we'll cheer her on, right?"
It was a full house for the gym. "There are way more people here than I thought there'd be!" Toru pointed out while Ochaco peeked from the curtain.
"At least everyone sounds like they're in a good mood," Rikido commented as there was a lot of chatter outside.
"Well yeah, stupid, it's a festival!" Minoru retorted back to his classmate.
"Are Deku and Mido still getting changed?" Ochaco looked back in a little concern, since they only had 10 minutes to get healed and Izuka was making sure her costume was okay.
"That slowpoke better put a fire under his butt and get here now!" Minoru gritted his teeth angrily.
It was finally 10 AM as a buzzer blared. The curtains moved away to reveal the class. "This is it!"
"We're rooting for you guys!"
"Show us what you've got, first years!"
"Yaoyorozu!"
"Mido!"
"How's this?" Mirio smiled while holding Eri up on his shoulders for her to see. "Can you see okay?"
"Yeah..." She frowned a little and then she saw Izuku standing with his classmates. Izuka was somewhere else.
As for us...
Eri's eyes shined at him and then looked up, seeing a puff of red in the catwalk, where Izuka was hiding.
We wanna see your smile!
The whole crowd was cheering for them. "Hope they can pull this off," Mr. Aizawa commented as he was all the way in the back with Present Mic. He stared at the crowd for the one he was looking for but couldn't find her. Hmm…no Mido. Did she really ignore my orders? No, she's not like that. They have something else planned.
"Don't tell me you're nervous! I'm looking forward to this banger. And for Mido to sing!" Present Mic grinned a little.
"I don't care what you think. Besides, aren't you on patrol?" Mr. Aizawa crossed his arms. "And, knowing her, she'll be dancing, not singing."
"I'm only gonna watch like one jam!" His coworker protested towards him. "And come on, have more faith in the girl! She was doing great during her extra classes from what I saw."
Izuka was adjusting the makeshift All Might head over her own, kneeling as she waited for her moment. Will this really work? I'm so nervous...
Mr. Aizawa turned back up front. There are some students who blame Class A for the school's current situation. And they haven't tried to hide how unhappy they are. Not helped that Mido's gained some more scathing reception lately. They're not here to have a good time. This isn't entertainment for them. They wanna criticize, find another way to put Mido at her lowest...whoever made that picture knows exactly how to hide... Chikuchi and Tsutsutaka glared towards the stage while surrounding by the encouraging crowd. Or even better, they wanna see our class fail with her.
"A song and dance performance, huh?" Chikuchi wasn't impressed as she stared. "Even if they don't completely blow it...they're really just showing off, aren't they? Izuka Midoriya herself might tank this for them if she screws up."
Izuka took a deep breath, a hand on her chest. You can do this, Izuka...you've been through a lot with your class and Izuku...they shouldn't be any different...and besides... She looked towards the crowd, gasping as she could see Eri looking at her, causing her to smile a little. It's not just for you.
"Kyoka..." Kyoka could hear her dad saying. She took a deep breath just like Izuka. "You can do whatever you want." She then opened her eyes as she was ready, the lights fading out.
Katsuki inhaled and then held up his arms. "Now! Start, dammit!"
"Let's show 'em what we've got!" Eijiro grinned towards the crowd, up above the others as well. He looked up at Izuka above their heads, giving her a thumbs up, but she didn't see it.
"Get ready, UA," Katsuki stared at the crowd intensely. "Our sound is gonna kill you!" An explosion went off from him as Izuka jumped off the catwalk, earning the attention of everyone. She did a frontflip, spinning around as she landed next to Kyoka, standing up. As soon as the music started, the dance team started swaying their hips and moving around. Izuka was wearing a microphone underneath the mask as she placed her hands on her hips, shaking them back and forth. Denki and Fumikage played their guitar riffs while Momo played her keyboard. It was so loud that the wind was being knocked into the crowd. Kyoka looked up as Izuka held up her hands, creating two shooting stars as they swirled around to form 'Class 1-A' above them in sparkles.
"Thanks for comin' out today!" Kyoka announced to the crowd as Mashirao and Mina jumped into the air, the dance team doing a twirl. Eri held her hair back while Mirio looked at them in awe.
What am I to be?
Kyoka started singing first while the dance team pointed forward, doing a little step.
What is my calling?
Izuka gulped a bit nervously as she put her fingers to her head, doing a quick twirl.
I gave up giving up, I'm ready to go
The dance team swung up their arms, Mina looking especially happy to show off her dancing skills and choreography.
The future's left unseen
All of her classmates were staring at Izuka in shock while keeping up their routine as she was the one singing next behind the mask. She's…really doing it… Izuku thought happily at her.
It all depends on me
Kyoka smiled proudly at her as she was still a little nervous to be singing. "Yeah!" Denki exclaimed while playing with a big grin, Bakugo especially paying attention. He wasn't even playing like he was supposed to. Once he realized that, he snapped out of it and went back to playing quickly so no one would notice.
Put it on the line to follow my dream
She pointed to the crowd in two directions as they all stared in silence. Eri let a breath escape her as she knew it was Izuka…but her voice was powerful, not always the shy and quiet voice she had heard before.
Chikuchi stared at them in shock while her classmate was still snarling.
Yeah!
Izuka jumped up, a yellow star platform appearing underneath her. She landed on the tip and then stomped for it to explode into smaller shooting stars to fly into the crowd. Everyone gasped as they looked up to see the projectiles flying around. Izuka blinked at seeing them so awed and smiled to herself.
Tried all my life
Izuku grinned as he moved to the side in tune with the dance team. All of them swung up their arms and then moved them down as they did a little kick. They then went back to swaying their arms while moving around their legs.
I've tried to find
The dance team moved their arms behind their back, moving their shoulders. Izuka did a little spin, moving out her arms once she stopped.
Something that makes me hold on and never let go
Ohhhhh!
As Kyoka and Izuka sung together, all of the dance team jumped up into the air. Izuka did a twirl in the air, sounding more confident with her singing.
Hero too
Izuka landed first, giving off a fire blast in the air that sounded like a firecracker, the crowd cheering. Eri's eyes shined as she looked up, Mirio letting out a laugh.
I am a hero too
Once Mina and the dance team landed, she grinned while holding up her fists and straightened up.
My heart is set (My heart is set)
Izuku and Yuga dabbed while dancing together, Tenya moving around his arms with his usual expression.
And I won't back down
The dance team jumped up again while Izuka spun around gracefully, landing near Katsuki. He glanced up at her as she continued moving her hips.
Hero too
Minoru, Mezo, Toru, and Rikido landed on the stage.
Strength doesn't make a hero
They all held up their arms as a pose.
True heroes stand up for what they believe
Mirio pointed for Eri to watch as Izuku and Yuga jumped from opposite sides. He then threw up Yuga in the air as he spun around. Izuka pointed her hand towards her classmate, firing towards him.
So wait and see
Yuga used his laser to make himself into a disco ball as planned, and Izuka made them sparkling lights with her power.
"Whoa, sparkling lasers!" An audience member gasped as the whole crowd was loving it. Eri had a small blush on her face, staring at Yuga.
"He's like a human firework!"
Mashirao slid over to catch Yuga, throwing him so he could land and they struck a pose. Izuku ran off towards the side of the stage, giving a big smile and thumbs up. He then disappeared, Eri and Mirio watching him closely.
"Whoa, fast exit," Mirio commented, though Eri was a bit disappointed to see him go.
"Where'd he go?" She murmured quietly, still looking to where he left.
"Just keep watching," Mirio smiled optimistically at the little girl. "I'm sure he'll show up again." This didn't ease her worries, though.
Don't wanna know
As Kyoka finished her verse, Denki went over to Fumikage, grinning.
Am I doing right?
Fumikage played his riff while Momo smiled from her spot. She smiled proudly to Izuka's singing.
Am I satisfied?
Mina, Toru, Ochaco, and Tsuyu posed in front of Kyoka.
I wanna live my life like it's meant to be
All four girls swung up their arms as Izuka twirled, and they separated.
Yeah!
Izuka held out her arms, smiling behind her mask as she saw people enjoying it...she felt so free and brave doing this now. The girls all swung up their arms while surrounding Minoru, giving him the harem moment as promised.
Tried all my life
He grinned widely, hoping this would get him girls...
Tenya gave an intense glare while dancing, Chikuchi and Tsutsutaka trying really hard not to enjoy themselves.
I've tried to find
Koji was readying his birds. Yuga and Mashirao looked a bit nervous as they were above the stage.
Something that makes me hold on and never let go
"Here we go!" Eijiro grinned as it was now the turn of the special effects team. Katsuki hit his drums hard.
Ohhhh!
As Izuka and Kyoka belted out the note, Shoto fired off his ice as did Hanta with his tape. The birds flew off as Momo held out her arm and Izuka dragged her right foot to do a small twirl. She then kicked her feet up into the air to start spinning around, giving off more sparkles that wouldn't hurt anyone. An explosion went off to reveal streamers and confetti.
Hero too
The crowd erupted into cheers.
I am a hero too
Izuka landed in a crouch, flipping back onto her feet and swinging up her arm to strike a pose.
My heart is set and I won't back down
Everyone in the crowd was copying the moves of the dance team, even Chikuchi and Tsutsutaka as they looked happy!
Hero too
Izuka and the dance team jumped up together again. Once they landed, they punched the ground.
Strength doesn't make a hero
Ochaco smiled while holding up her fist. Eijiro was running around above stage to throw sparkles made out of ice.
True heroes stand up for what they believe
Izuku was dragging Yuga around as a moving disco ball above the crowd.
So wait and see
Mr. Aizawa was staring at Izuka, but wasn't pleased just yet. Like they predicted, the disguise wasn't doing it for him too much. All he cared about was that she was seen. Come on, Mido. You can't keep hiding all your life.
Kyoka looked towards the sparkles and the crowd, remembering a reason why she didn't want to do this...why she felt like it wasn't something she could accomplish.
"Mom. Dad. I want to be a hero," Kyoka confessed to them in their home. "I'm not going to become a musician. I'm sorry..."
Mr. Jiro reached out and touched the top of her head affectionately. "Did you think we'd be upset? Come on, kid," He smiled gently along with Mrs. Jiro next to him.
"It's just..." She had tears in her eyes, looking a little embarrassed as she was expecting them to be mad...that they wouldn't accept what she wanted to pursue. "It was hard to decide. Helping out others and making them happy. It just seems so cool!" She looked up at them, frowning a little. "I've always admired it..." Her tears fell onto the table. "But...you taught me music, and I didn't wanna waste that either. Because...I love music too, so..." She reached out to wipe at her eyes. "I didn't know what to do."
"Kyoka," Her father spoke up softly, causing her to look up and see his gentle and encouraging smile. "You can do whatever you want. Just remember this."
As Kyoka lifted up her head, Izuka took a deep breath. After seeing her classmate doing her passion...she wanted to finally do it.
"Your mom and I became musicians 'cause that's our great love. But this stuff can take a while." Even though he remembered happily jamming out with his daughter...he wanted her to do what she felt she loved. "You have to pay attention to how things make you feel."
"Choosing a career is a big decision," Mrs. Jiro spoke up next. "And you have some good options!" Kyoka looked at them in shock for their words, as she thought that even though she loved music...that they wouldn't approve of how to make both that and heroing work. "Maybe you can help others with your sound. In that sense, musicians and heroes aren't too different, right?"
Ohhhhhh!
Izuka then lifted off the mask, revealing her face to the shock of everyone else while belting out the note again. Eri gasped at this, gripping Mirio's shoulder in anticipation. "Mido!"
Mr. Aizawa blinked in shock at his student, nodding in approval.
"Yeah, I'll be!" Kyoka shouted into the mic as Izuka kicked the mascot head off into the crowd, and Mirio caught it for Eri.
Hero too
Kyoka jammed out happily as Izuka then removed the giant gloves, tossing them aside. She then smiled towards her classmates as they looked happy and proud of her too.
I am a hero too
Izuka reached up and removed the hair tie holding her bun in place, shaking it out to be free.
My heart is set
She then swiftly removed her jacket, Kyoka smiling widely. Bakugo smirked as he finally got over his stupor, going back to the drums.
And I won't back down
The crowd in front of them cheered as they watched in amazement at Izuka. Aizawa was taken aback as he glanced around the audience. Mirio laughed while pumping a fist. Tsuyu was swinging around Ochaco using her tongue.
Hero too
Izuka swung her head down, her hair flying behind her as she straightened back up just as quickly while dancing. Ochaco's fingers lit up as she touched several people in the crowd.
Strength doesn't make a hero
Several people were sent up into the air during all of the excitement. For Izuka...at that moment, she wasn't even acknowledging the crowd or that this might not count. But she didn't care actually. She just felt…so relieved to finally get it out of her system and…she felt happy. She felt like she was becoming someone better, more confident.
She gave a small smile while the others playing instruments all smiled towards her. Even Bakugo had a big grin on his face as…this side of her he felt like was more powerful, more of the hero she could grow to become.
True heroes stand up for what they believe
It was a dark shadow over one particular person in the crowd, but it started to fade once the light hit it.
So wait and see
Izuka sent more fireworks into the air as it felt like the shadow plaguing Eri was completely gone. She had a bright smile on her face while holding up her arms, her hair flying.
I have met so many heroes
Are you seeing this? Mirio teared up at seeing Eri's smile for the first time, as that was all he wanted from her... Midoriya? Mido? Sir? He gave a teary smile while thinking of his deceased mentor, wishing he could see this for himself. Look at her! She's smiling!
Eri kept that smile on her face while enjoying herself.
The dance team swung up their arms while Izuka held out her hand, high-fiving some people with a smile.
Now it's my turn to be the one to make you smile
Izuka did another flip to kick her discarded jacket into the crowd, some boys fighting over it once it reached them. Katsuki himself even looked to be having fun while drumming. Kyoka smiled at Denki and Fumikage. Izuka turned around briefly, seeing all her classmates grinning at her, and she returned it happily. The dance team continued as the band team was starting to finish.
Izuka slid onto the stage as the last note played, swinging up her arm as she sat on her knees. Some people from the dance team were posing above everyone else, loud cheers from everyone. Izuka ran a hand through the top of her hair in disbelief and awe on her face. She stood up and gave a breathless laugh as she felt like she had just been an on switch. She was dancing in a disguise for one song, and then the other she was like a lion or something.
I did it...I really did it!
Someone let out a yell as Nirengeki braced himself from a fake sword blow. Neito then stopped it with his own sword, knocking it away. It was revealed to be part of the play as Yui was playing Juliet. "I am known as Romeo!" Neito introduced himself to whoever was playing Tybalt. "The Ghost of Azkaban and a Parisian Count! You will return to Juliet to me!"
"...Romeo," Tybalt was revealed to be Tetsutetsu. "You must have heard about your father from your mentor Gandalf. I bet he told you that man was the king of Gondor! But that is a lie." Neito gave a dramatic gasp as Tetsutetsu took off the hood. "I am your true father! Join me!"
The lights then shined on them as Neito dropped the sword. "NO!" He cried out as the lights faded.
"That felt a little full, right?" One of the students commented as they left the play.
"I thought it was amazing!"
"I don't know, I just couldn't take it seriously."
Izuku was a bit nervous as he and Izuka were talking with Toshinori; they had gotten pulled out right after the performance to talk about why they were almost late. "Running late isn't a crime, but at least answer your phone!" He scolded the two, who looked towards the ground.
"We know. We were just in such a hurry, we kind of forgot it," He looked at his phone to see lots of missed calls from Toshinori.
"Don't be surprised when you both check your missed calls." There was a phone call from Toshinori every single minute. Same for Izuka, although there were WAY more from Katsuki. She winced at seeing his name and messages that sounded pissed. "I have a pretty good idea of what happened based on Ecto's report."
Hound Dog stepped up to the two, getting into their faces. "Don't think you made the right call!" He snarled at them, the two looking up nervously. "Things weren't that grizzly, so the festival's still going on. But this coulda been real bad! You're a UA student with a provisional hero license while she's still taking classes to earn one! You should have relied on us to handle him. Your teachers wanna protect this school just as much as you two!"
"...Yes, sir," Izuku frowned a bit sadly.
"We just wanted to make sure things didn't get worse for everyone...we're sorry," Izuka mumbled; she just sang, but at the same time, Hound Dog was frightening...
"Now put smiles back on your faces and beat it!" He shouted, catching them off guard. They'd figure that he would punish them by sending them back to their rooms or something...or even letting Mr. Aizawa deal with them. But he was letting them go. "The fest is on. You both better enjoy every minute." He swiped to attack them, but they moved away, yelping.
"Yes, sir!" They bowed and then ran off.
Toshinori walked up to the teacher. "Hound Dog, I really appreciate you-"
"All Might!" Hound Dog grabbed the man and shook him aggressively. He started talking incoherently to the man.
"He only forgets human speech when he's truly angry," Ectoplasm noted as he watched. "Perhaps I should step in."
Hound Dog then let out an angry howl to the sky.
Izuku ran back into the gym as the class was cleaning up. "Hey!" Mirio smiled as he waved. "Good work, buddy!" Izuku came to a stop just as Izuka walked into the room, sighing heavily as she wiped herself off.
"Izuka!" Her brother ran up to her, giving her a big hug. "That was incredible earlier! Where did that come from?"
"I don't know, I just…started getting the confidence I needed and did it," She rubbed her arm awkwardly. "Is it weird?"
"No! I thought you were amazing!"
Ochaco and Momo ran up to her with happy yells, engulfing the girl in a group hug. Izuka giggled and returned it.
"He's right, you know!" Ochaco smiled at her encouragingly as the others ran up to her.
"It was so cool!" Toru gushed while waving her arms.
"I can't believe that was from the same Mido!" Rikido gave her a big smile.
"It was an exhilarating experience for us all, Mido. I thank you for allowing us to witness it!" Tenya smiled, gesturing to himself.
"We killed it thanks to our special mascot!" Eijiro shouted while pumping a fist. Izuka blushed, beaming towards everyone as she felt like she did them proud. Everyone gathered around to place her on top of their shoulders, all of them surrounding her in excitement except one to lift her up above their heads. "You were awesome!" He exclaimed as she blushed a bit from all the praise.
"Yeah, I bet you and Jiro put all those naysayers to shame!" Denki grinned up at her.
"Put me down!" Izuka giggled happily at them.
"Yeah, yeah," Katsuki grumbled to himself while walking away. He then gave a small huff with a grin on his face.
Izuka moved away from the others once they calmed down a little, giggling happily. "That was crazy!" Eri gushed, getting their attention. She was beaming happily in excitement, blushing while also holding Izuka's mascot head. "At first when there was a loud noise, it was scary. But then everyone was jumping with the dance and then there was a flash and sparklers, and Deku, you went away for a little bit," Eri explained while Mirio was mimicking her movements and expressions. "And a guy started flying in the air, and Mido was giving off fireworks! That's when it started to get cold and I saw birds." The twins smiled at her, nodding along as they listened. "And there was a spinning light and a bunch of people said 'Wow'!" The two teared up to see her so happy. "And you know what I said? Wow too! It was so fun!"
The two wiped at their eyes, confusing her. Izuku looked down at her happily as Izuka bent down to her. "I'm glad you had such a good time, Eri," The green-haired boy started off.
"And that you caught my mascot head. Why don't you keep it as a souvenir?" Izuka gave her a soft smile.
"Ah!" Eri beamed up at the two happily. "And you looked so pretty singing and dancing!"
"Yeah, I can't believe that was you!" Mirio grinned at the girl as she stood up. "I even asked a friend to record so Nejire and Tamaki can see!"
"I'm sure it'll be online soon, so I don't mind," Izuka gave a small smile, holding Eri's hands. "It was because of your gift I was able to keep moving with all the practicing I was doing. Thank you for your support, Eri. I'm glad we're friends!"
Eri beamed up at her happily that she was able to help Izuka.
Minoru on the other hand was feeling the opposite that the twins were talking to other people, carrying some ice. "You guys should be working! Slacking off now after being late?! Take this ice!"
Izuku yelped as he turned around, baffling the others. "Oh, sorry! I've got it!" He ran off with the ice.
"Mine too please!" Yuga called out, carrying a bunch of it.
"Hey, don't give him all the work now," Izuka warned with a small frown, carrying some ice over to Katsuki and Mashirao. Katsuki touched the ice with his hands to melt it, Izuka doing the same with her Mercury Blast. Katsuki glanced up at the girl, wanting to ask her what she was doing to barely make it on time.
"Hey, Iz-"
"Class A!" A student called out, getting their attention.
"We had a killer time at your show!"
"Yeah?" Eijiro blushed a little towards a crowd waving to them. "Sweet! Thanks a lot!"
"Hmph," Tsutsutaka loomed over them while looking a little humiliated over how he treated them. "I gotta say...you did well."
Katsuki glared as he recognized him, both Tsutsutaka and Chikuchi taking in a breath. "We're sorry!" She shouted at the group, taking everyone by surprise.
"We just came to see you guys screw up! We're so sorry for the rumors, Izuka Midoriya! I'd like to take you out to make it up to you!" Tsutsutaka revealed a big bouquet of flowers behind his back that he got on the way.
"Huh?!" She flinched in alarm while everyone else was put off by this. She then gave an awkward smile; she didn't even know him until today... "Wow, umm…that's okay. We don't need to necessarily go out on a date for me to forgive you…"
"Grrrrrr!" Katsuki snarled at the display angrily, seething.
"Are you sure?" The boy shouted towards the girl.
"Yeah, I'm sure. Thank you so much though," She gave another awkward smile and wave.
"Please forgive us still!" He shouted as he left with Chikuchi in a hurry. Once he was gone, she breathed out a heavy sigh of relief.
"That was so uncomfortable…" The green-haired girl murmured in a bit of embarrassment.
"They didn't have to apologize or...do that," Denki stared after them in disbelief. Honestly, he thought it was bold of the guy to do so...
Katsuki then looked away smugly, glad that Izuka said no and that they apologized for what they did. We won.
"I wonder if they're some of the people Mr. Aizawa said were feeling bummed out," Eijiro stared after them, Tenya standing nearby. He then smiled towards the class rep. "If they were, our mission was accomplished!"
Tenya gave a small nod, clenching a fist. "But surely there are those who were unable to attend! The festival is still young! We will not rest until every student-"
"Dude, take a breather!" A student called out to him, smiling. "We heard about what you were trying to do when you started planning this."
"You totally pulled it off!"
"We'll tell the others all about it," Another one offered and then walked up to Izuka shyly while holding her jacket that she kicked into the crowd. "Umm, can I get your autograph?"
"Oh! Okay," She blinked in surprise as Tenya gave her a pen and she signed the collar.
"Thanks!" The boy blushed a little, Katsuki now more annoyed.
"Yeah, seriously, it was insane, and you were so great up there, Midoriya!" A girl smiled towards her.
"Oh please, call me Mido..." She rubbed the back of her neck as she felt like a celebrity today...
"I just have to get a picture!" Another girl pulled her in for a selfie.
"We'll make sure everyone knows how much you put into this, don't worry! And that we can trust Mido!"
"That's perfect, aw!" Mina nudged Kyoka a little bit as Izuka moved away from the crowd after photos and autographs.
"Thank you for your kindness!" Tenya bowed to the students.
"Naw, screw that," Katsuki grunted as he approached. "Go find the jerks who didn't watch us and bring 'em here! And bring over anyone who upset Izuka too!"
"Hey," Mashirao ran up to restrain him. "Calm down a little. Please!"
"And we're not doing that! You had already gotten in trouble for Monoma," Izuka warned while holding him back too.
"Stop screwing around and finish cleaning up the ice!" Minoru urged as he zipped past his classmates.
"Yeah, sure!" Eijiro stated as he, Tenya, and Fumikage stared after him. "Mineta seems pretty on edge..."
"Gotta hurry so I can score good seats. I will not miss the beauty pageant!" Minoru declared to everyone intensely.
"Even if you got good seats, would you even be able to see anything still?" Izuka raised a skeptical brow. Minoru grunted in defeat at her point, Katsuki laughing while holding his stomach.
"I guess singing really gives a 180, huh?" Eijiro rubbed his neck at her remark.
Minoru was really happy as they made it on time, reaching out his hands.
"Kendo!"
"You can take out the competition with one punch!"
Itsuka grunted while chopping through boards quickly. The crowd cheered as she posed. "She stuns with a martial arts demonstration in a gorgeous dress! Strength and beauty!" The MC announced as she punched the air a few times, exhaling. Class 1-A cheered for her skills. "A masterful demonstration of skill!"
"Really?" Bibimi bragged while revealing herself. "Is that the best you can do? I'm almost offended you'd compete against me with something so dull!" She was standing on...a mech of herself.
"It's the support course third year and beauty pageant queen herself! Prepare yourselves for a stunning performance!" The mech rolled onto the stage and spun around. Eri was sitting on Izuku's shoulders this time around.
"What kind of dance is she doing?" Eri was very confused.
"Maybe I'm not the person to ask about these things cause I'm totally lost," Mirio commented as the mech kept spinning.
"I don't get beauty standards..." Izuka murmured while sweat dropping a little.
"The goal of beauty is to leave your audience dazzled!" Bibimi then laughed confidently as she and her mech rolled off the stage.
"Oh, man. This third year," Neito's eyes twitched a little. "Gotta admit, she's good..."
"Heard your play thing went well," Eijiro grinned towards Tetsutetsu. "Nice goin' man!" He hardened up his skin a little while Tetsutetsu made his arm metal.
"You too, bro!"
"Next, another third year," The MC announced and they turned back to the stage. "Nejire Hado!" Nejire floated down from the sky, wearing a teal ruffled dress and ballet shoes. The crowd cheered for her as she smiled.
"Nejire!" Yuyu pleaded while clenching her fists hopefully.
"You've got this," Tamaki nervously gave a thumbs up; he couldn't even look towards the crowd. "People are animals. Imagine we're puppies and you'll feel more relaxed."
"Nejire lost last year because she tried to be flashier than Kenranzaki," Yuyu murmured while supporting her friend. "Sure, nobody's gonna out-dazzle that girl." The crowd gasped as Nejire floated up to the sky using her Quirk. "But Nejire has her own strengths!"
They watched as lines appeared in the sky, awestruck. Nejire then saw her work-study friends. Aw, it's Uraraka! And Tsu too! Even Tsuyu, who didn't emote as much, was awed. Nejire let out a giggle as she continued, seeing Mirio, Eri, and the twins. Togata, Eri, and Mido! Everyone looks so surprised! This is so wild.
As the waves danced around, Tamaki had a small smile on his face. Seeing her up there. It's really something else. Hado looks like a fairy or something. Nejire did a mid-air twirl and spun around, revealing that she had drawn a rose with her Quirk.
"So pretty..." Itsuka murmured in wonder at it. Nejire landed safely and struck a pose.
"What a magical air dance! And I think the audience agrees!" The 8 competitors appeared on a screen. "Please vote for one of these 8 contestants! Results will be announced at 5 PM."
"Kendo from Class B!" Neito shouted as the crowd was leaving, Yosetsu holding him back. "A vote for her is a vote for the future!"
"You're gonna get her disqualified!" Yosetsu shouted at him and if Itsuka heard it, she would smack her classmate.
"Aw yeah man," Minoru looked happy and was definitely going to come back. "Tonight's gonna be so great!"
"Class C's haunted maze looks crazy!" Denki commented as people ignored Neito. "Wanna go?"
"Obvi!" Mina agreed cheerfully as Itsuka ran onto the stage.
"Yeah, no, I'll pass," Kyoka denied as they discussed all the activities.
"There's an obstacle course!" Eijiro noticed as Itsuka actually knocked out Neito with a punch.
"And crepes!" Ochaco gushed happily, earning a sharp gasp from Izuka.
"We've still got lots to see, you guys!" Mirio exclaimed at Eri and Izuku.
"Yay!" Eri smiled at the thought.
Fumikage and Koji took pictures of Shoto and Tenya at a cutout photo stand. Then Katsuki and Eijiro did the obstacle course, some of their classmates cheering them on. Ochaco gave Eri a crepe, Izuku holding some of their prizes as Tsuyu asked for one. Izuka bent down to Eri as they both tried each other's crepes with a smile. At the haunted house, Toru, Minoru, Mina, and Denki were all scared by Hitoshi in fake blood hanging from the ceiling. Izuku and Izuka smiled at a book while Eri caught a balloon thanks to Mirio. Mei showed off her mech to other students—and it didn't explode this time. Rikido smiled as the twins made something together. Ochaco, Yuga, and Tsuyu walked around happily. Kyoka and Momo gushed towards a Cementoss toy. The twins returned back to Mirio and Eri, the latter running up to them happily. The beauty pageant results were later revealed, Tamaki clapping as Yuyu was crying. Bibimi was crying too as she gestured to Nejire, who won. Neito was absolutely destroyed as Itsuka didn't win, not that she minded. Nejire wore her crown while waving happily to the others.
The sun was setting as the festival was now over. "Thanks for coming today! We loved it," Izuku smiled towards Eri as Izuka nodded in agreement. They, Mirio, and Mr. Aizawa were at the entrance to the school. Snipe was also nearby.
"Mm..." Eri looked a little sad, and they could tell why. Izuku gave her a small smile.
"One more thing," Izuku held up a candy apple just for the little girl. "Got a surprise for ya!"
She gasped happily at it. "A candy apple!" Mirio looked at the twins in shock. "From where?! I couldn't find any."
"Yeah, I didn't see that anyone was gonna be selling them, so we bought ingredients when we went out this morning," Izuku revealed, getting onto his feet. "It was easier to make than I thought it'd be. The only thing we couldn't get at the store was food coloring, but Sato had plenty."
"And he was happy to help," Izuka smiled, hands behind her back. "We definitely owe him one!"
"It's getting late," Mr. Aizawa pointed out as Eri took a bite out of the candy apple. "But you three should be able to see her again soon."
They watched as Eri blushed, giggling as she lifted up her head. She had a smile on her face, some of the food coloring on her lip. "It's the best thing ever!"
The two laughed to see her enjoy it. "We'll make them again. So you have something to look forward to!"
"I will!" She gushed up at them.
"How about I bring over one of my paintings next time?" Izuka smiled, hands on her knees. "I'll bring one of my favorites."
"Yay!" Eri cheered as she jumped up.
"Mido." She flinched from Mr. Aizawa looking over to her. "...Good job. The rational deception finally got you to get past your fear."
"...Uh," Her eyes turned small as she stood there in disbelief, the other three staring at her. "Wait, so you weren't going to expel me?!"
"I would've if you hadn't taken off the mascot head. That was all to assist you with your hesitance socializing. And to put those rumors to rest at the same time," He revealed and she then fainted on the spot. She had thought the whole time he was serious...
"Izuka, are you okay?!" Izuku yelped as he and Mirio went to check on her.
"You're self-taught?" A detective asked while looking at a computer.
"Yes..." A sad voice answered him.
"I can't believe it! What's your job?" He looked up at the desolate La Brava, as she felt like it was the same thing before she saw Gentle's video all over again...
"La Brava..."
"Wouldn't you rather use this talent for the good of the world?" He asked the woman.
"Fraid not," She responded, staring at them. "I only care about helping my Gentle in any way that I can."
"You know it's fairly easy to test whether or not someone has been brainwashed," A detective in the likeness of a gorilla spoke up. "So why don't you stop lying to us? It's obvious the girl in there really has feelings for you. And it's true you've failed plenty..." He was sitting across the silent Gentle, his hair still a mess thanks to the earlier fight. "But as for the crimes you did manage to commit, both you and the girl-"
"I made certain that Aiba was never directly involved," Gentle interrupted, still keeping up that story. "You can't blame us equally for my schemes."
"Hm...so the feelings are mutual. Well, whaddaya know?" He shook his head, looking at Gentle's profile. "Former hero course student. Dropout. The world twisted you until streaming videos of crime seemed your only path."
"It was always in service of my dream," Gentle informed the detective in front of him. "Even if I erred when choosing my path."
"Then it's a good thing you turned yourself in today." The villain looked up at him wide-eyed, wondering what he meant. "Some people will tell you that there are no do-overs in life. But that's for those who don't want to change, or are too impatient and want immediate results."
Gentle bowed his head all the way down to the table, starting to sob. He felt like his whole life, he didn't get to have a do-over when he severely injured a man...
The detective stared at him for a few seconds as he could sense Gentle had been through a lot. "Hey, you want some tea?"
A tear fell down Gentle's nose as he kept his head down. "Earl Gray please..."
"You'll get whatever we have!"
After saying goodbye to Eri with Mirio escorting her back, Izuku and Mr. Aizawa left Izuka alone. Snipe was gone too as she looked up towards the darkening sky. She gave a small smile to herself, remembering what she did today. After so long...she finally faced a crowd and did what Mr. Aizawa wanted! Granted, he still tricked her...but she felt like she could get past that since he did have good intentions.
"Hey."
Izuka turned around to see Katsuki leaning against the entrance. She was so caught up in her thoughts that she didn't realize he was there. "Oh, hi Katsuki, I didn't notice you there," She greeted with a small smile and he stared at her. He knew that despite her not wanting to do it, she still would've showed on time, so obviously something held her up.
"...There a real reason why you barely made it on time?" He asked with a straight face and she flinched in alarm at him guessing correctly. "When you were out with Deku getting the damn rope...something happened, didn't it?"
"...Mm," She gave a small frown, looking away. "Yeah, you could say that. We encountered a villain on our way back. That's why we almost didn't make it. Sorry that we worried everyone back there. But he was pretty determined to ruin the festival and we just couldn't let that happen."
"Who?" He narrowed his eyes a little and she blinked at him.
"He's in custody with the police, so-"
"No, I need to know who, Izuka. You think I'd just let that kinda thing slide?" He interrupted with a small snarl.
"Alright, alright," She rolled her eyes a little at his insistence. "It was Gentle and his partner La Brava. He's the one who was making all of those videos that weren't getting much attention. And he thought by sneaking into the school when the festival was going on was going to help him get recognition."
"Tch. So some pathetic lame-ass extra. Good, so he didn't hurt you."
"Hm?" She blinked at him in confusion that her safety was the main priority. "Well, he almost had us, but he's definitely not as weak as he seems. I only got minor scrapes and so did Izuku, we got ourselves checked by Recovery Girl right before the performance. But that's enough about me. I thought you'd be asleep by now."
"I would…" He joined her side to look up at the sun setting. "But I couldn't when I had the band stuff to think about."
"Oh yeah? What about it got on your mind so much?" She wondered, hands behind her back as they continued staring. The blond flinched, his heart racing as he thought about her moves and her voice. He had heard it plenty of times during practice, but...to see it in action...
"…Y-You looked good singing and dancing up there," He stammered while looking away, blushing.
"Huh? Oh…um, thank you so much!" She smiled up at him, running a hand through her hair. "That means a lot. I'm still getting over that myself, honestly. It was a big step if I'm gonna try and be more social…I guess even though I'm still his problem student…he still pushes me to be better," She gave a grateful smile. The girl could tell that Mr. Aizawa did care about her, otherwise he would've outright expelled her instead of letting her perform.
"Pfft. He won't expel you. You're too strong to let stuff like that get to you," Katsuki remarked, hands in his pockets.
This took her by surprise as she looked up, doing a double take. "Eh? Oh, uh, maybe…you really think that I'm strong?" A breath escaped her as she stared at him in awe. Never did she think she'd hear him admitting it. Katsuki had said it to Eijiro, but Izuka never heard it and the boy never told her because she had to hear it from Katsuki himself.
"It takes one thing to get up on stage and be in front of hundreds of people," He turned around to her with a serious expression. "It's another to actually make people talk when you're actually brave enough to perform like you did today."
He felt like he could truly respect her for what she did today. That she could face anything on her own now...the girl standing in front of him could do anything that she set her mind to if she worked hard enough for it to him. He felt like he could stand by her side and that she was worthy of being a strong hero. Not one that would beat him...but would come close.
"Hm," She gave a happy smile, stepping up and hugging him. He flinched in shock from the sudden contact as he was frozen. "I couldn't have done it on my own. I had all my friends and my brother believing in me. I didn't even care that some people weren't that faithful. I just…wanted to do my best to make everyone proud. Plus…I know about all those comments you sent out to people who were spreading the rumors. Thank you."
He blushed while looking at the top of her head. "Yeah, don't worry about it…you kicked everyone's ass…" He slowly moved his hands to her waist. Izuka blinked from the contact and pulled back to look at him. She had hugged him before...but this was something new. His burning red eyes were staring down at her as her heart hammered loudly, and his was too. She's so beautiful, and strong, and... He faltered in his thoughts as he felt like...he had to do it. Katsuki leaned down to touch her lips briefly with his, pulling away a few seconds later.
Izuka flinched and looked up at him while being very flushed, neither of them letting go of each other. She tiptoed to give him a small peck on the lips, as they felt soft to her and she liked the feeling. She could tell he felt the same way as the two were in close contact with each other, their lips inches apart. Both of them stared at each other for a few seconds before connecting their lips again. This time Izuka hooked her arms around his neck as he held her gently. Both of them felt like this was what they wanted, feeling a soft sensation within them. He moved his hand around the back of her head, gently getting his fingers lost in her hair.
One of their phones went off and Katsuki pulled away to check his. He then pressed reject and went back to kissing her. He moved his lips in rough movements and she tried to keep up, to his amusement as he gave a small smile.
Izuka's phone went off this time and she pulled away, quickly getting it to reject the call. Once she did, Katsuki held her cheeks and slammed his lips back onto hers, her soft lips addicting to him. To them, it felt like nothing mattered, butterflies already full in Izuka's stomach from their kissing sessions.
Both of their phones went off at the same time and Katsuki grunted at this. "Damn it," He dug into his pocket to pull it out as Izuka's hand twitched, her eyes wide in shock while processing what just happened.
What...what the hell was that? We...we just did that! Wait, is that normal? I'm so confused and yet my heart can't stop beating…
"Kirishima needs something…"
"You…y-you, what did you do?" She held her head, letting out a shocked sound and his eyes widened, seeing that her whole face was red. It was then he realized he just kissed Izuka Midoriya.
"Uh…" He coughed awkwardly while looking away. "N-Nothing! You did it back! You just happened to trip onto my face…"
"No, you put your lips there, not me!" She pointed out while touching her lip, and then realized he might've just been playing it off as something that didn't happen. And she agreed with that mentality because she didn't want to think about the implications too hard. It'd be a bit complicated from then on. "Y-you know what, maybe that was just a big oops, right? Heh," She gave an anxious smile.
He blinked and then caught on, still getting over what happened himself. He didn't want ANYONE to tease him about this, so he wasn't going to say anything. Not to Eijiro, not Denki, not Hanta, or Mina, and especially not Izuku. "Y-yeah, right. That…that wasn't what we thought it was. At the end of the day, it wasn't…it wasn't anything," He denied while turning around, glad that she wasn't making a big deal out of it.
"It-it was…just a fluke on our part," She kept a straight face. "It's not like we're that type of friendly! We-we just got carried away, we didn't feel anything from that, right?"
"Yeah, just two people who weren't meant to…do that. That's all that it was. Glad we're on the same page there, or I would've killed you," He mumbled, not wanting to look at her. I can't believe I just did that with Izuka...my damn heart won't stop thumping, it's gonna explode any second the longer I think about it. Even though she's a pretty damn good kisser considering it was her first one...
"Y-yeah, like when I talked to Shindo about going to that light exhibit, but not…not like us getting carried away like we did. Would I really do that with someone I had just met and not someone I've known for years? No, b-because…" She faltered as she couldn't come up with a good reason, and she felt like she was making it worse. "…Yeah," She ended her sentence there, clearing her throat. "You should call Kirishima, see what he wants."
He was about to answer when his phone rang again. "God damn it," He growled and answered it. "What is it, Kirishima, I'm busy! What do you mean I borrowed your textbook for class?! I didn't lose it, idiot!" He didn't even look back at Izuka as he walked off. As she turned around, Katsuki stumbled a bit from the feeling of the intense kiss. But he quickly recovered as he walked, his face red.
"Oh my god," Izuka whispered to herself still in shock, running a hand through her hair. "That didn't just happen..."
However...it did, and she was left there silently freaking out because now she was very confused and hesitant on what this meant for their relationship now...
