Izuku was running as fast as he could to get to the disarming device. Hurry! Faster! He willed himself before jumping up and avoiding the gunshots coming from Humarise members around him. "Get out of my way!" He jumped around on the walls and used his leg to perform Shoot Style. The door that would lead him to the disarming device then fell to the ground, the boy panting as he took a look around. There didn't seem to be anyone around as he stepped inside. This is the deepest room in the base He thought while walking, looking up and remembering what he saw from the computer. Which means...the Trigger bomb control system should be on the other side of those doors!

He ran towards the double doors across the room, only for a laser to trigger. He yelped as he jumped backwards to avoid it.

"How dare you?" Flect Turn demanded, as he could see Izuku from his spot. "This is not a place where someone so diseased should set foot."

Izuku gritted his teeth while heading the leader approach. He must be the leader. Flect Turn! Once the leader was in a closer view, Izuku could see him in a cape and reflective material from the hood.

"You have entered a holy stronghold that will bring about the salvation of humanity!" He glared as a secret entrance opened up behind Izuku. He looked around in alarm as the whole room itself started to change.

"You think this is what the world needs? The Quirk Doomsday Theory hasn't been scientifically verified!" Izuku spoke up as Flect Turn descended down the stairs. "You're basing your crimes on nothing but a rumor! How can you accept something so uncertain...and use it to justify doing such terrible things?!" The recent attack came to mind.

"Pure humans are being threatened by the sickness of Quirks," Flect Turn stated once he was on the first floor. "Of that, there is no doubt. As time passes, these powers will mix, evolve, and run rampant. Driving humanity to destruction."

"You don't know that for certain!" Izuku yelled out angrily, gritting his teeth. "Whether you have a Quirk or not doesn't matter!" He thought of Toshinori, Melissa, Mirio, Eri, Sir Nighteye...and his own sister. "We're all alive! We're all human beings!"

"The gravely afflicted are beyond our help," Flect Turn narrowed his eyes, believing that there was nothing that could change his mind. "I suppose I shall have to force you to atone."

"I'll stop your Trigger if it's the last thing I do!" Izuku screamed while One for All appeared around his body. He jumped towards the villain. "SMASH!" He hit his foot against Flect Turn, but the attack had no effect. In fact, the boy was frozen in place before his foot could even hit Flect Turn. Izuku grunted as he felt like something else was going on with his opponent. Flect Turn had activated his own Quirk, and it sparked around them. The energy pushed against Izuku's foot, and his nerves were already in pain. He shouted from the feeling, being sent flying backwards into a wall. A strong, vast gust of wind surrounded Flect Turn as it disappeared, and he stared up ahead. Did he...counter my attack? No...it's shock and force He slowly got onto his feet, looking up and panting. It felt...like I was hit with a Smash! He looked at his own hand in a panic. He had a strong feeling of what just happened...

"That's right," Flect Turn narrowed his eyes at him, a glow coming from his eye bags. "I was born with this cursed plague myself," He stated while his feet gear activated, lifting him from the floor. "A disease that can't be cured...I automatically reflect all I come in contact with," He revealed a bunch of mirrors from his body, which also helped with his 'disease.'

I knew it! His Quirk makes any attack against him bounce back! It's the kind of power that's always activated! Even without all the mirrors on Flect, getting a hit on him was going to be next to impossible. "So even though you have an ability of your own..." Izuku then ran to the side, jumping up to activate his fingers. "You still think they're somehow evil?!" He fired Air Force multiple times, and Flect Turn deflected it like a sound wave. He then used Air Force to knock Izuku back into a wall. The boy grunted in pain. Long distance attacks don't work either!

"You would question me?" Flect Turn demanded furiously, causing Izuku to open his eyes. The Humarise leader looked at his hand. "Quirks are a tragedy. Because of this ailment, I was never once held by my parents. Never knew a caring touch. Even my closest friends, and those I gave my heart to left me. Their feelings repelled. I watched them all leave me one by one..." He gripped his hand into a fist, never wanting to have the same feelings again. "Since I reflect everything, I couldn't even choose death for myself!" And so, he used the mirrors for himself to help him grow his power...to the point where he could destroy Quirks forever. "A Quirk that cannot be controlled leads to a life of suffering! But I can save others from this misery!" His eyes glowed a bit as wind surrounded his body. "These meta powers will trample no more hearts!" He then soared towards his opponent.

Izuku snarled while lunging for him. I won't use One for All! Until the moment of impact! As soon as he got in front of Flect Turn, a spark of power appeared and a bunch of energy came from Flect Turn. He then used it against his own back to give him more leverage. Even then...it didn't work! Flect Turn then kicked at his injury, causing him to grunt in pain. He was then sent flying backwards seconds later, rolling to a stop into a wall hard. He grunted while landing on the ground, some of the books falling around him. The clock is ticking He thought while bearing through the pain. I'll try to avoid him completely! He looked up and One for All sparked as he took off into a run. Right! Rely on speed and get to the controls! While doing that, he kept his eye on his opponent.

"I reject the corruption within my veins," Flect Turn deemed with disgust in his voice, his eyes glowing. A turret appeared to fire and Izuku jumped up swiftly to avoid it. He then ran forward to avoid the shots. "I will eradicate this global contamination before it's too late!" He watched Izuku jump around to still avoid the lasers. "By doing so, I will save the worthy!" More mirrors appeared around him. "The pure humans will rise to power once again!" He then used the mirrors against the lasers above him. Izuku flinched and jumped as much as he could, but there were too many of them. And he wasn't able to stop three from hitting his body. He let out a scream of pain, falling to the ground and rolling to a slow stop. On top of his injury getting hit, he now had fresh blood over his suit...and a puddle of it started to form near his head. "You wretched soul," Flect Turn floated over while the mirrors went back to him. He held out his hand to make multiple screens appear. A countdown had also appeared. "In mere minutes...the baptism will begin. The blood of heroes will cleanse this broken world. And their deaths will bring about to glorious new reality!"

"I won't let you," Izuku snarled, getting his attention. He turned to see that Izuku was already back on his feet, as injured as he was. "Talk all you want...I will stop the Trigger bomb!" One for All flew from his body and Flect Turn stared at him, unfazed.

"No..." The video feed was of the heroes fighting to stop Humarise. "You will be sacrificed like your friends," He then used the lasers again to hit Izuku, who let out another scream. He saw Ochaco being knocked backwards into the sky, and then Tsuyu saving her.

Uraraka...Asui...

Tsuyu was knocked away just as he was hit again. He then saw Denki, Hanta, and Minoru fighting for their lives.

Kaminari...Sero...Mineta.

Another attack of lasers appeared, and he screamed while being unable to move. Meanwhile, Eijiro was using his Hardening to fend off a villain. Kyoka and Mezo were still on lookout.

Kirishima...Shoji...Jiro.

He slid to a stop, grunting in pain as blood was now seeping from his forehead. He could see Momo pulling out something from her arm against a Humarise member.

Yaoyorozu...

He felt like his heart was beating out of his chest as he got onto his feet. You're all fighting so desperately... Katsuki was shooting as many explosions as he could. Izuka was firing Mercury Blast, Comet Burst, Jupiter Wind, everything she could think of. Katsuki was then hit by behind thanks to one of the Serpenters, more blood flowing from his back. Izuka looked back in horror, only to get lifted up by the other one and stabbed in the leg and wrist. To stop these weapons from going off... Katsuki looked up in alarm, his right eye shut but bleeding as he let out a scream towards the falling Izuka. Shoto covered himself with ice while in the water still. To protect everyone's smiles... Shoto could barely breathe while fighting as hard as he could. Izuku let out a small breath while wobbling onto his feet. Think! How can I beat this guy? His vision was getting blurred as he felt like he would pass out at any second. More blood fell from his body as he stepped forward, slowly falling towards the ground...

Until a hand caught him by the waist.

He looked up weakly, gasping in shock to see that Rody had caught him. "Rody...? Why...?"

"It's fine now, Deku, don't you worry," He looked upset that he didn't get there in time, but still had a smile on his face.

"No...you have to...run," Izuku muttered out as Rody reached for something.

"I will. Once I hand this over to the blue guy." Izuku gasped in shock as he saw Rody...was holding the disarming key.

"The disarming key..." Rody then slowly put him down, to his utter confusion and hurt. "W-What?"

"Know that I'm sorry," Rody started off while turning towards Flect. "They said they'd stop the Otheon explosion if I helped them out."

"Rody," Izuku grunted while looking up, as he couldn't believe that his own friend was betraying him again, but on a much larger scale. And everything they went through apparently didn't mean anything anymore. "Don't do this. If we can work together, we can stop him and save everybody. PLEASE!" He begged out while both in pain and still hurt emotionally.

"How are we gonna stop anything when you're all messed up?" Rody couldn't even look at him. "We're out of time," He looked towards the countdown, which had 4 and a half minutes left. "The bombs are gonna explode. It's game over," He gave a small shrug.

"No...!" Izuku cried out, not wanting to believe it.

"At least...I'm going to protect my family. I can do that much. And trust me, your sister would kick my ass if she were here right now. But you get it...wouldn't you do the same for her?"

Izuku couldn't say anything as his mouth hung open, feeling like with his injuries...he couldn't do anything to stop this. And even if he could...he was too hurt by Rody turning his back on him. He could only watch as his former friend walked up to Flect Turn.

"Look...I'm a worthless delinquent, Deku. I can't take on the world, much less save it," Rody explained as he continued walking. "I'm not a hero like you or Callista. If I have to pick between society or my family surviving...the choice isn't that hard." He then glared towards Flect Turn. "It was the same for my dad. You forced his hand."

"That's true," Flect Turn acknowledged, recognizing the boy immediately. "Your father, Eddie Soul, developed the human salvation bomb. He knew that if he didn't, your lives would be forfeit." He could still remember the man reluctantly agreeing, even though he wanted no part of it.

Izuku's eyes widened as he realized something. "It was him..."

"Eddie Soul, another scientist here, lost his life helping me." Izuku picked up the disarming key as Izuka gasped, looking towards Rody. "Please, save the world." Izuku looked at Rody...and his eyes were glistened hearing the news.

"Rody..." Izuka murmured sadly for him.

"My dad didn't help you," Rody snarled out to Flect Turn bitterly. "You threatened to murder our family. He only worked for you because you made him!"

"Fortunately, he had the clarity to make the correct decision. And it appears you're a wise man, just like your father. You're protecting your loved ones," Flect Turn felt the same energy from Eddie as he was from Rody. "An honorable choice. I commend you. We're quite alike. I developed this plan because I love humanity and wish to save it." Izuku tried and failed to get up.

"Rody, please!" He begged while crawling over. "You can't do this!" He cried out to the boy. "RODY!" He ignored Izuku, thinking about the family photo he showed the twins. "We can stop him..." Less than 4 minutes remained now...

"Sorry, hero, but this is how it all ends," Rody declared while in front of the villain. "That's life. People get betrayed. If it's any condolence...it happened to me too. Nothing to cry about."

"Rody..." Izuku murmured sadly and then gasped. As Flect Turn held out his hand...Pino popped up from Rody's hoodie. She slowly shook her head at him and he slowly realized...that Rody wasn't actually betraying him.

"Well, what about you? I mean, do you have a Quirk? I've been wondering." Pino clenched a fist and the boy placed a hand on the ground.

"You won't laugh at mine, will you?"

"I promise!" Izuku declared to the boy.

"Really?"

As Rody was about to hand over the key, Pino held up her wing.

"No, I swear it!"

"He's never laughed at a Quirk, trust me. And I've worked with people who have some strange Quirks, so lay it on us."

"Okay...it's kind of weird."

Rody looked up, flipping the key up into the air with ease. Flect Turn let out a gasp and Pino threw down her wing, letting out a chirp. Izuku let out a yell as he activated his power, jumping up to attack. Meanwhile, Rody ran away from the scene.

"PINO!" He shouted while being flown backwards. She chirped as she flew in and grabbed the disarming key with her beak. She then flew off to join her companion. "Nice job!" He smiled up at her, looking over his shoulder. "The plan's working, huh?" Izuku grunted while blood flew from his body, and he was sent flying backwards again into a wall. "DEKU!"

"You foolish boy!" Flect Turn yelled as he aimed lasers towards Rody. Thanks to his parkour skills, he evaded them easily. He grunted while running for the bomb controls.

"Don't stop!" Izuku warned while using Air Force on the lasers above Rody. He ran up the staircase, an explosion knocking him backwards. And while Izuku was getting rid of the other lasers...one managed to hit Rody right in the stomach. Izuku gasped sharply as he looked up, seeing his friend slide to a stop. "NO!" Izuku flew forward at Flect Turn, who held him back and sent him into another wall. Despite that, he jumped up using the structure, trying to reach his injured friend. "RODY!" He was then sent into the floor with a painful grunt, as Flect Turn had pinned him down.

"You impenitent child!" He hissed while using his Quirk against Izuku, who could barely move. He gritted his teeth in pain.

"Deku!" He looked up to see Rody was already standing up, leaning against the doorway. "Don't you dare die, you kick his ass!" He growled out, covered in blood while holding his injury. Flect Turn gritted his teeth at him. "I'll stop the bombs! And you...you take him down, hero! Let's go!" He ran off with the disarming key. Izuku flipped and slid to a stop, grunting as he recoiled back his fist and used Smash against Flect Turn. The man reflected it back to send Izuku flying. This time, he did manage to stop as he moved away the wind and looked up with a glare.

"I'm the end of the line," He gritted his teeth, clenching his fists. "I don't care how strong you are, you won't get past me!"

Flect Turn then flew towards him to attack. Izuku leaped forward as well and their energies collided with each other. Flect Turn grunted in a bit of pain while the boy's glove exploded off. He could barely keep it up either, but he still persisted.

"And what about you? I mean, do you have a Quirk?" The question rung in Rody's head as he willed himself to move, leaning against the wall. He was leaving blood stains everywhere... "I've been wondering."

Rody blushed in embarrassment, looking up at a bashful Pino. "You may think I'm joking, but...it's Pino. You see...her actions show my true intentions."

"Really?" Izuku smiled up at Pino.

"Wow, she almost reminds me of a classmate we have," Izuka smiled a little while reaching up to pet Pino, as the bird reminded her of Dark Shadow.

"No matter how good I am at lying...Pino always gives away how I truly feel."

Almost... He thought while holding an exhausted Pino.

"Honestly, it's not much of a Quirk."

Flect Turn's reflective attack sent Izuku flying back again. He looked up while gritting his teeth, having faith in Rody.

"Oh, I wouldn't say that. Not being able to lie? I think that's pretty amazing," Izuku chuckled a little happily.

"Plus it means that you're not entirely a hopeless flirt!" Izuka retorted back a bit playfully.

"Hopeless? Hey!" Rody protested as Pino chirped, her and the twins laughing together.

Rody grunted while walking as fast as he could, limping...he just hoped that this would mean something...and wouldn't make him a criminal anymore.
