Wild Training for UA Entrance Exam
"Oh man, that was really intense with that sludge villain." Izuku said as he and Tails are walking together.
"Yeah, I'm glad they just let us go with just a warning though I do feel kind of sad that I was chewed out the most." Tails chuckled sadly.
"Hey, those guys don't know how brave you were risking your life to save someone you didn't even know and knew that in your heart that it was the right thing to do." Izuku believed.
That made Tails feel very happy to know that at least there is one person who believes he was being a hero for a moment and that made his heart feel good too, maybe he could give a little more thought into this hero career before getting to the high school year.
"Well, this is where I have to go." Izuku pointed the way to where his home is.
"I'm going in the opposite direction." Tails said, knowing this is going to be a goodbye for now.
"I hope we can see each other again, maybe we both could do some training together for the UA entrance exam." Izuku offered.
"I'll have to think about that, but it would be nice for us to hang out. Oh, we can exchange each other's contact info!" Tails suggested as he pulls out his phone.
"Sure." Izuku nodded.
The two exchanged numbers and email addresses before going their separate ways, and probably expecting to get yelled at by their worried families.
(Midoriya Home)
"Mom! I'm home!" Izuku alerted as he walked in.
"Izuku! You're home!" Inko cheered as she runs up to him.
"I heard about what happened earlier at that market street, was there really a giant robot attacking the city?" Inko asked worry.
"Yeah, it was really weird, and it grabbed Kacchan for some reason like it was targeting him, but luckily, All Might was there to defeat the robot with one punch that literally changed the weather." Izuku explained.
"But you also fought the robot yourself. That was really dangerous!" Inko scolded her son a little.
"I know, I know, but I couldn't just sit back and watch my friend get hurt by that robot and even another guy tried his best to help him. I just felt this instinct within me to go in and save them." Izuku explained, remembering how that felt letting his wild side lose.
Inko let out a sigh knowing better than to deny the heroic heart in her son that he would get himself into trouble even if it means saving those, he can save with his own two hands and fangs.
"Alright, I won't be mad at you for doing what you believe is right, but you got to try and be more careful the next time you do something crazy like that." Inko said, not wanting to go through losing one of her loved ones.
"Don't worry, I promise that I am not going anywhere and I'm sure dad will ground me if I die and leave you behind." Izuku hugged his mom who hugs him back.
"So, I take it Katsuki refused to acknowledge that he was rescued?" Inko asked.
"He probably felt embarrassed that he needed to be rescued by me of all people since he and I have always been trying to one up each other for a long time." Izuku answered with a small smile.
"I see, but he's probably really grateful that you saved his life. Just won't admit it out loud." Inko believed.
After having dinner together while watching a little TV, Izuku head to his room to have some quiet time to himself while thinking about the event that happened with the robot including about that rage boost, he went through.
"(That power, it was so wild and raw… I was barely controlling himself when I got mad at the robot for hurting Kacchan. It was something I never felt before.)" Izuku thought recalled that experience.
(Flashback)
"AOOOOOOOOOOOO?!" Izuku howled loud with his body glowing green over his dark green fur and charged at the robot.
Izuku just went on a raging attack as he throws some stretching fierce punches that pushes the robot back and even leaving a few dents on the body, the robot retaliates by firing its shot punch that knocked out Deaths Arms. But Izuku stretch his right arm back a couple of several feet and reels in back to clash with the robot's fist and broke that fist into pieces.
(Flashback End)
"(I didn't think my Werehog Quirk would have an extra bonus until today, maybe it had something to do with that strange star that turned me into this years ago.)" Izuku thought back to that day when he got his Quirk.
"Guess that's another thing about my Quirk I should carefully study on, and to see if I'll be able to control it without having to go out of control like that." Deku stretched his arms for the closest and pulls out a box next to his bed.
Izuku lifts up one notebook that is about his Quirk and what he has been able to find out throughout the years since he got it, he starts adding the new power and wonders if there is a way to use it at all.
"Okay, I think I know what I'm gonna do this weekend." Izuku said to himself.
(Later, Saturday)
The scene shows of a forest that is very close to the city and there appears to be some wooden circle planks with red circles as targets, and two of them have been destroyed by Izuku with his stretchy arms.
Izuku is running fast while punching away the targets around him as he is trying to get to the finish line the fastest his body could muster and going a little faster by launching himself like a slingshot with his arms acting as rubber.
"Almost there!" Izuku told himself as he kept moving forward.
Izuku kept running and punching while keeping track of how many targets he had destroyed so far.
"And… done!" Izuku made his way to the stopwatch and stop the time without having to stretch his arm for it.
"Okay, now let see here and… Nice, that was about 4 seconds ahead of the last one." Izuku impressed with his best time yet.
"And so far, I managed to destroy all thirty targets I brought with me." Izuku added as well.
"Looks like everything is going okay, and now I need to work on my combat skills." Izuku said.
"Now, let see if I can throw my punching barrage even faster than before, and maybe further too." Izuku cracked his knuckles.
Izuku ready himself in a position and waited for a moment to start throwing his punches.
"(Focus and be precise.)" Izuku thought reminded himself.
And then Izuku started throwing his barrage of punches, each punch hitting one spot on each tree pretending they are villains, and then other times he throws his punches past the trees pretending that they're civilians.
But then he felt his fist hit something during the training session.
"Hey, hey, hey! What the fuck was that about?!" A girl shouted in rage.
"Huh, there is someone here?!" Izuku shocked.
"How is someone like Stick here supposed to enjoy the wild time of the day when someone is attacking me?" A girl named Sticks complained.
Izuku looks up seeing a girl standing on a strong-looking tree branch, the girl who calls herself Sticks.
Sticks is a 17-year-old young woman who is an anthropomorphic honey badger. She has orange fur with long thick hair on the back of her head, which she keeps in two locks with auburn strings, and two brown stripes across each of her eyes and bushy round ears that reach the end of her hair. She is rather scrawny, with a peach muzzle, a small black nose, blue eyes and a medium-long bushy tail. She wears a midriff-baring tube top and a skirt with an auburn rope belt, each made of worn-down gray fabric stitched together, and tan fur-skin boots, one which has a fur cuff and the other which has metal bands on it. As accessories, she wears a golden band on her right upper arm, a spiral bracelet on her left wrist and a necklace braided with seashells and a gold ring. Breasts size: G-cup.
"Hello, huh, how are you doing?" Izuku greeted nervously.
"Oi! Were you the one who tried to attack me just now?" Sticks asked.
"Oh, you mean my punches then I'm really sorry." Izuku apologized.
"You think saying sorry is gonna do you any good when you punched away my perfectly chestnut and whip cream hotdog that I was about to enjoy!" Sticks angered with a fierce glare.
"Hold on, I promise I was going to hurt you! I didn't even know that you were here!" Izuku tried to reason with this girl.
"It's already too late for that since you have committed a sin of killing my hotdog!" Sticks shouted in rage.
Sticks' body started to glow fiercely of an orange aura, and she let out a loud badger roar with her eyes glowing red as well.
"(What the… Is that her Quirk?)" Izuku thought shocked.
"You're about to feel the wrath of Sticks Yasei!" Sticks yelled.
Sticks Yasei. Her Quirk: Berserker Rage. She can tap into the inner savage animalist rage for the increase of strength, speed, and pain endurance though she tends to go too wild that she almost loses control of herself.
Sticks launches herself from the branch right at Izuku with a punch that he quickly blocks with his arm, but the force still pushes him back by an inch which is a really big surprise to him.
"(She's strong!)" Izuku thought pushed her away.
Sticks roars again before running around for a little confusion strategy for a moment and then attacking him from all sides, but Izuku was able to withstand her attacks thanks to the durability of his and threw a counterattack with a punch in the stomach that sends her flying and crash into a tree.
But she was only down for literally one second and charges back in to attack as Izuku decides to meet her in the middle by running on all four.
The two clash their fist at each other causing a soft burst of shockwave though Izuku was able to push her away due to having the strength advantage, but he can tell that Sticks strength is close to his.
"Look, I think we gotten off on the wrong foot." Izuku said, hoping to get her to listen.
But Sticks wouldn't settle with listening as she jumps onto Izuku scratching savagely on his face, but he was able throw her off.
"Please! I don't wanna fight you! Can't we just talk about this?" Izuku tried to reason with her again.
Unfortunately, Sticks goes to attack again until something came crashing down between the two kids.
"Hey now, I heard something was going on and it looks like you kids were having a party." A woman smirked.
"What? You want some of this too?" Sticks growled.
"Wow, so fierce. I like that." The woman commented.
"Hold on, I recognize you! You're the Rabbit Hero and the Number 5 Hero of Japan: Mirko!" Izuku gasped in shock.
"You better believe I am!" Mirko smirked at the boy.
Rumi is a tan-skinned woman of average height. She has narrow red eyes with long, defined eyelashes, and straight white hair reaching her thighs with bangs that extend to the left of her face. While slender and curvaceous in frame, she also sports a lean, athletic, and well-defined build, especially in her arms and legs. From her Quirk, Rumi has long white rabbit ears pointing upwards above her head, along with a small and white round tail, giving her an overall resemblance to an albino rabbit. She wears a sleeveless white leotard with dark purple trim around her shoulders and waist, a wide yellow crescent moon design over her chest, and a single thick metal plate wrapped around her midriff. She wears purple thigh-high boots to compliment her leotard, with more plating around the heel and toe areas, making her feet look like those of a rabbit. She also has a pair of thick, white gloves on her hands with long cuffs, sporting small triangular protrusions around their edges. Breasts size: J-cup.
"Oh wow, I can't believe I'm meeting THE Mirko in person! This is almost as good as when I met All Might with Tails!" Izuku squealed.
"Listen here, rabbit. You better hop away if you don't wanna get hurt!" Sticks threatened.
But Mirko simply smirks and blitzes right in front of the honey badger girl much to her shock that she didn't see him coming.
"How about you calm down." Mirko suggested by throwing a strong kick that slammed Sticks' head into the ground.
"(Shit! She's even faster than what I read about, she's the kind of woman who always takes Leg Day to a whole new level!)" Izuku thought amazed.
Mirko just then remembers something that the hairy boy just mentioned a second ago.
"Hey, hairy boy who looks like a werewolf." Mirko looked over to Izuku.
"(Crap! She's actually talking to me, gotta calm down and look presentable.)" Izuku thought jumped a little.
"A-Actually, I'm a Werehog, ma'am. My Quirk is Were-Hog, like a werewolf and a hedgehog put together." Izuku corrected this to the rabbit hero.
"Whatever, are you by any chance Izuku Midoriya?" Mirko asked.
"WHAT?! YOU ALREADY KNOW MY NAME?!" Izuku screamed in shock.
"Don't yell like that? You're hurting my ears." Mirko glared.
"Sorry." Izuku apologized.
"Anyway, the reason I know your name is because my adopted nephew knows you. Says you two tried to help save a guy from a sludge villain." Mirko mentioned.
"The sludge villain!" Izuku surprised to hear that Mirko knows about that incident.
But then his mind came to a realization with Tails' face coming into his mind.
"Tails? You know Tails?" Izuku asked shock.
"That's right, he's my nephew and the adopted son of my older sister." Mirko revealed with a thumb pointed at her face.
"For real?! That's amazing! I can't believe I'm friends with someone who is related to the Number 5 Hero of Japan!" Izuku excitedly.
"Yeah, I've been curious about you since Tails mentioned you're strong and that got me curious." Mirko walked over to him.
"Ow… My head." Sticks groaned as she wakes up.
"Sticks, are you alright?" Izuku concerned.
"You're worried about someone who attacked you?" Mirko puzzled.
"It was a misunderstanding, she only attacked me because I accidentally ruined her hotdog." Izuku explained.
"It's okay, I'm over it now." Sticks said.
"For real?!" Izuku gasped.
"Sorry about getting angry at you. I don't take kindly to anyone that disrespect me in a way, though I suppose I should try listening to reason more often." Sticks apologized.
"That's fine, but you did give me an idea to work on my Quirk for my training." Izuku said.
"Training, you must be getting ready for the UA entrance exam." Mirko figured, Izuku nods.
"Really? I'm training for the UA exam too! I'm going to show them my wild side!" Sticks smiled.
Mirko looks between Izuku and Sticks, seeing them both with good potential consider how they just fought each other a few moments ago and she always loves seeing strong fighters that she wants to fight them.
"Hey, why don't the two of you come at me?" Mirko asked.
"Huh?" Izuku and Sticks confused of the question.
"I mean come at me right now, fight me." Mirko clarified with a grin.
"What?!" Izuku shocked while Sticks is surprise.
"I wanna see what you two really got and to see if you're capable enough to survive the UA entrance exam, if you're able to impress me enough then I might think about training you both myself." Mirko offered.
"Train us? Are you for real?" Izuku shocked.
"Fucking real!" Mirko blitzed jump into the air.
"Now… Show me what you got!" Mirko screamed as she comes down with a kick coming straight for them.
(Ten Months Later)
Izuku is seen standing in front of the UA High School with his fur getting excited and his fangs feeling sharper than ever somehow, this is the feeling of knowing that fateful day has finally come.
"Deku, quite daydreaming and get moving already. Don't want you to fall behind me." Katsuki walked past Izuku.
"Right, the time has come!" Izuku nodded then marched forward to the next step of becoming a hero.
