Chapter 10: Earthly Adventure P1

During lunch hour of that afternoon of Dr. Hyde's failed assassination attempt of Electra, Sunlight whom had been reading her mother's mind was understandably upset! Now while she wasn't sure whom attacked her mother, it proved their theory right, whoever kidnapped Candy to try to kill her family off tried again, and this time, the target was her loving mother. Unable to control herself from crying, the Espeon girl folded up her head and started crying hating that there was another attempt to kill her mother off. Ariel, Glace, Sundash, Meadow, and Flare saw this but out of the five girls it was Flare whom suspected what went on, and once she had somewhat of an understanding, Flare grew equally upset, but instead of crying, the strong Flareon girl sat besides her crying cousin patting her back trying to make her feel better. Upon feeling being pat on the back the Espeon Girl looked behind her and saw Flare, whom asked her innocently as she could "What's wrong cousin?"

"They attacked mom" Sunlight answered then she hugged Flare crying in her arms "And this time they tried attacking her while she was taking Candy to her psychiatrist!"

Flare frowned having the feeling this was the case, why else would a sweet and loving Espeon Girl, break down all of a sudden but while Flare had her family to protect well at least her two younger sisters, she wasn't about abandoning her cousin in this time, Flare cared for all members of her family not just her own younger sisters and to a certain degree Flora though Flare never would show it, due to the rift between her and Flora, but she also cared for her cousins, Aunt and Uncle too. Whatever upset them upset her! As far as Flare was concerned all members of her family even cousins, aunts and uncles were precious to her. Flare let Sunlight cry in her arms hugging her cousin "I'm sure Aunt Electra is fine now Sunlight. She's a strong woman."

Sunlight pauses a brief smile on her face as she listened to Flare, Flare was right after all, even though she knew that her mother survived, much thanks to Candy somehow which Sunlight was unable to foresee how Candy saved her mother but somehow Sunlight knew Candy did "You're right Flare, my mom whom is your aunt, is a strong woman…" She pauses more "But even a strong woman can be brought down...Flare...She was almost eaten! Whoever tried to kill her meant to eat her and not eat a part on her which you know what that means."

Flare frowned "I do...She wouldn't reform, she'd stay dead."

"Exactly!" Sunlight said.

Flare had to act quickly to calm her cousin down "Easy there cousin. The fact remains that she's still alive but, you forgot, I've also lost my mother."

Sunlight agreed "That's true…"

"Which means I know what you are going through cousin" Flare told her calming her down more "At least she's alive still. Sure she maybe shaken a bit but it won't keep Aunt Electra from taking care of what she cares about...Us. Both daughters and her nieces! She won't let death take her easily, she's a fighter when pushed to her limits! Her will to protect her daughters and nieces won't be extinguished!"

Sunlight stopped crying listening to Flare, Flare was right! At least her mother Electra was still alive plus Electra's will was as Flare said, strong, as long as she drew breathe the Jolteon would protect her daughters and nieces, no matter how close to death her mother may get to, as long as her spirit to protect her daughters and nieces was high, Electra would fight to protect her family "Thanks Flare, I needed that."

Flare smiled faintly hugging Sunlight "You're welcome Sunlight. As a family we all need to help each other when the other is feeling down."

Sunlight blinked "But I'm your cousin."

"Details mean nothing to me Sunlight!" Flare said with a grin and a wink "Sure you are my cousin, but too me, even my cousins, aunt and uncle are family to me! You are just as precious to me as my own sisters. I'll always be there to help you out when you are upset because, whatever upsets you upsets me!"

Sunlight dried off her eyes, not only did she hug her cousin but she gave Flare a thank you kiss to the lips causing the Flareon girl to blush red with crimson, oh she was fine with a kiss from another girl but certainly not in school. After kissing Flare, Sunlight smiled as she whispered sweetly to Flare's ears so she didn't break Ariel or Glace's hearts "And that's why you are my favorite cousin Flare! Your love for everyone in your family even your relatives, it's strong in you."

Flare smiled rubbing Sunlight's head as she asks Sunlight "Are you going to be okay? As you know Sundash and I are going to visit my teacher Maki after school, but we won't if you aren't feeling well due to what you foreseen."

Sunlight answered her cousin "I'll be fine now Flare. Thanks, plus I wouldn't want to take you away from your teacher. Enjoy your time with her. I'll watch over Ariel and Glace while you are away."

Flare nodded "Alright."

The Espeon and Flareon girls look to see Ariel still hiding behind walls from Meadow's presence anytime Meadow walked in the room. Sunlight frowned watching this as she broke the subject "I hope Ariel will overcome her fears...Meadow wont eat her again."

Flare agreed "Not if she doesn't want me to down right kill her, she won't! But it's gonna take some time for Ariel to overcome that...I mean picture you were in her shoes skinny dipping at night peacefully minding your own business then someone ambushes you by wrapping his or her tail around your neck, then, breaks it which could've killed your or paralyzed you then your eaten whole regardless if you were alive or not, then comes the digested alive if you were still alive…" Flare shivered hating to experience getting digested alive in fact the Flareon almost hurled at the mention "I think I made myself sick just saying that last part."

Even Sunlight nearly hurled at the mental image of herself being digested alive "Thank goodness when Aunt Electra, cooked me, Moonlight and you together we were dead…"

"I wasn't!" Flare told her "I survived because Fire types can't be cooked to death…Although I couldn't feel any pain when I was being carved up like a turkey."

Hours later, school was out, Sundash was with Flare preparing for their visit to Earth. For Flare she was eager to learn from her sensei once more. Ariel and Glace saw Flare and Sundash preparing to leave for visiting her teacher. Both Ariel and Glace wanted to go and see this Maki for whom Flare learned quite a lot from. Right now both girls were begging with Glace being first to speak her mind "Flare! You gotta let me and Ariel come with you and Sundash! We want to see your teacher!"

Flare wouldn't have it at least for Glace "Any other situation Glace, I'd let you come with me, but you can't."

"WHY NOT?!"

Flare looked at the almost crying face of her baby sister "Maki works for Fire Force Company 8 sis they fight supernatural fires caused by Infernos. You Glace are an Ice type, if there is some conflict Fire Force has to deal with involving Infernos I'm putting you in great danger! I don't want to see you killed by my mistake of allowing you to come with me. Where Sundash and I are going, it's too dangerous to take an Ice type along."

"But I'm not an Ice type! I'm a Water Type sis!" Ariel protested "Surely I could be useful against these Infernos! I can protect Glace for you! Please let me and her come with you!"

Flare had to agree with that one a Water type like Ariel would do wonders but she still wasn't about to put Glace in any more danger than she was. Sensing the problem, Sunlight decided to butt in "Perhaps next time you two can go, or at least Ariel can go, or perhaps Flare can convince Maki to visit here so you two can meet her. I'd like to meet her too, but it's probably best only Fire types go instead. I've heard nasty rumors lately going on around there, something about a white clothed organization starting these fires."

Flare growled "EXACTLY WHY YOU TWO AREN'T COMING ARIEL AND GLACE! IF SOMEHOW YOU TWO BECOME INFERNOS I'LL NEVER FORGIVE MYSELF!"

Glace gulped seeing Flare's over protectiveness for her two younger sisters rise and dropped the subject "Okay…"

Ariel still wanted to go protesting "But could these white Clothed organization turn a Water type into an Inferno?! I think not!"

Sundash answered this time "We don't know much about that organization Ariel. Flare and I have visited that place before and it was before that White Clothed organization was discovered by Fire Force, so there's a lot of information we don't have about them, but...It wouldn't be that surprising if they actually could turn a water type into an Inferno. May take a while to do so, but the threat of you turning into an Inferno could be high too! Please Ariel for once heed your sister's warning!"

Ariel wanted to fight the two water types, she wasn't the type to listen to reason especially when she felt as a Water Type she had some sort of protection against becoming an Inferno. Sensing the direction Meadow lashed out her tail directly at Ariel's neck, not going to break it but to get her to back away. This worked like Meadow had planned, no sooner had Ariel saw the tail the Vaporeon girl dropped to her butt shivering "Please don't eat me Meadow!"

Meadow spoke "Wasn't going to do so, but your sister Flare wants you protected as much as she can. Please heed her call or...If you insist you have to battle me!"

Ariel gulped nervously sweat was running down her hair as she had doubts she could a Kunochi like Meadow, especially the fear of knowing Meadow's favorite type of prey were Water types. Seeing that it would be Meadow she would be fighting caused the Vaporeon girl to drop it going to heed Flare's warning "Fine! But you owe me and Glace something Flare!"

Flare watches her two younger sisters with Glace speaking up "And that thing could be scheduling a meeting for me and your family to meet Maki! Maybe for dinner!"

Flare smiled sweetly at Glace "Oh, I'll see what I can do. But" she grew fierce once more "But, if you and Ariel follow in secret, I will not schedule that meeting! Sunlight…"

Sunlight spoke "No need to say anything Flare. I'll watch over them!"

She then pointed to Ariel and Glace "Both physically with my own eyes and mentally!"

Ariel secretly snapped her fingers as she had been planning to follow Flare in secret, this time taking Glace with her somehow, but all bets were off now especially when Sunlight was watching them closely, there was no chance of outsmarting Sunlight now that Sunlight was going to focus her mind reading abilities mostly on Ariel and Glace. The Espeon Girl warned them "You hear me you two? I'm watching over you two in both ways. If you even attempt to think it, well I'm going to tell mom and dad, then outside of Meadow also watching you two, you'll have two more watching over you."

"Will you tell Moonlight?!" Glace asked innocently.

"You bet I'll inform Moonlight on this!" Sunlight said.

Ariel once more snapped her fingers Sunlight was impossible to out think, now while Ariel was the smartest among her four sisters, Sunlight was way smarter than her. Now adding in Moonlight to the equation certainly meant that any plan she would make up would go down the drain. Moonlight being an Umbreon Girl was very good at stealth and stalking so great that it was often Moonlight that spotted her trying to sneak out of the house at midnight for a midnight skinny dipping swim in the pool or lake. Another thing Ariel realized was that Flare never told a lie, if she listened to Flare's worries and obeyed her sister and not go even in secret, then Flare would indeed do what she promised to set up a dinner date for her family to meet Maki. Fully defeated knowing that Sunlight would detect where her brain was going at the Vaporeon girl raised her hands admitting defeat early "Okay...I give up! I won't be trying anything sneaky...Besides with Sunlight on my case, that would be impossible to pull off."

Satisfied with the answer Flare, and Sundash began to leave the area towards Fire Force Company 8's base of operations. Once out of sight and out of hearing range the Vaporeon girl shook her head "It's always like this, Glace and I are never allowed to follow Flare to visit Maki."

Sunlight turned her attention to the two jewel on her forehead glowing as a warning sign to both Ariel and Glace to indicate she was already reading their minds "Unlike Flora whom might take you with her putting you two in danger, Flare doesn't want to take that risk. She's being protective of you two. And have faith in your sister she'll set up a dinner date with Maki in the future. I'm sure it's hard on Flare to leave you two like that, but with the development of what Maki does for a living, that risk is too much for Flare to let her take you two."

Meadow also commented muttering under her own breathe "Besides...It gets Sundash away from me, so she can't bother me today."

Ariel and Glace could clearly tell both Meadow and Sundash didn't seem to like each other with Glace getting over to her "Why do you hate Sundash so much Meadow?"

Meadow sighed "A few personal reasons...One, Sundash is said to be the strongest out of us Kunochis...At least if you don't consider the Lunakage in the lineup. And second...She's always berating me when I go hunting! She's a hunter too yet she berates me for hunting anything!"

Sunlight shut that second option up "Gee, I wonder why that is...Oh wait...I don't, I know that reason! You go after anyone, from innocent peaceful girls like Ariel whom have done nothing wrong, and you go after criminals too, but Sundash Meadow...She tends to go after criminals as her type of prey. She won't go after innocent prey, except for maybe the exceptional Pikachu, Raichu, Rattata, Raticate, Bunnery and Lopunny line, but even then she usually doesn't. In other words while you two are both predators, and good at it, Sundash looks at you as one of those bad guys she'd go after and it upsets her when she sees you go after an innocent peaceful prey that has done nothing wrong."

"I've seen her hunting Poochena and Mightyena's! Some of which are peaceful and innocent."

This time Ariel, and Glace joined in with her cousin as they knew why that was "Pyroar thing!"

Meadow blinked confused "Excuse me?!"

Ariel explained it "Pyroars are based off lions Meadow. Poochenas and Mightyenas are based off of Hyenas...Lions hate Hyenas and vice versa, so it's not a shocker she'd go and willing eat those boys and girls even if they are peaceful. So, Sundash might look like a Cinderance but she's part Pyroar in the inside, so because of that it's a Pyroar thing! She's probably taught by her mother and maybe the male Pyroars of her pride that Poochena and Mightyenas are bad and they should always be killed and eaten."

Meadow racks her brain still hating Sundash but now things were making a bit more sense when she thought about the Pyroar, Poochena and Mightyena line as the four girls headed to their home with Sunlight's glowing jewel still focusing on Ariel and Glace's minds, sure Ariel gave up early and it was understandable why, as she knew trying to out think Sunlight especially when Sunlight was now reading her and Glace's mind was impossible to do, but Sunlight wanted to be absolutely sure they wouldn't try to wander off in secret.

Flare and Sundash would arrive in the Japanese City of Tokyo. This wasn't like their home world. Tokyo had tall skyscrapers and was a big city. In the world where Flare came from castles still existed, on Earth, while there were castles on Earth, most castles were completely abandoned and left for the vegetation to overtake it. Both girls were in their normal clothes now, with Flare now in a black sleeveless shirt, and red shorts. Sundash was dressed in her normal kunochi clothes which also had a black bra on, a red mini-skirt with rope tied behind it, and black stockings. In addition to their regular outfits both Flare and Sundash supported cloaks themselves to cover up their Pokegirl traits after all while in their normal world they normally wouldn't be covering those areas up but on Earth, both girls learned the first day visiting this world that some humans on Earth were scared of them and often tried to kill them out of fear, now others didn't seem to mind but those that tried to kill them, left the impression in both Pokegirl's minds not to have their animal parts exposed at least until they got to Fire Force Company 8 where they'd be protected.

"Were here once more" Sundash told her friend.

"That we are" Flare admitted looking around.

The two friends find Fire Force company nine knocking on the door. A black haired Pigged tailed girl with gold eyes peered out "Whose out there?!"

While Sundash hadn't recognized the girl, Flare did as she had visited here during the Rookie Games "Kotatsu, Tamaki? Is that you?!"

"Flare?!" the girl asked "Yes, it is!"

"What are you doing at Fire Force Company 8?!" Flare inquired "I thought you were a member of Fire Force Company 1!"

Tamaki sweats a bit "Let's just say...I'm on suspension for what I did with Fire Force Company 1, so that while that is happening...I'm here at Fire Force Company 8."

Another black haired woman arrived, she was taller than Tamaki, she was very musclar and had abs "Whose out there Tamaki?!" the woman asked.

"Oh Maki-san!" Tamaki said turning to her "It's your student Flare and another white haired girl!"

"That would be Flare's best friend Sundash" the second woman said "Don't let them stay out there Tamaki, let them in! I invited them."

"Yes, Maki!" Tamaki said, she opened the door allowing Flare and Sundash to walk in. Once in Tamaki closes the door and both Flare and Maki are seen hugging each other passionately "Maki-Sensei!" "Flare! I've missed you!"

Clearly it had been some time sense the two had last seen each other. Maki turned to Sundash "Welcome back Sundash, a lot has changed sense the last you visited."

Sundash smiled "It has."

A blond haired boy walked into the room, he had a single strain of hair that was pointed upward "Whose there Maki? As a knight I sense a Kunochi."

He sighted Sundash "As in she's one...What's a kunochi doing here?!"

Sundash sighed heavily "I'm Sundash the Cinderace girl little boy, who are you?"

"Little boy?" the boy inquired "Makes sense a kunochi like you would take me from my size I'm Arthur Boyle, now kunochi I have to take you down!"

Sundash smirked almost mocking him "I'd like to see you try knight boy! All you'd be doing is going in my stomach if you try."

He was about to attack when Flare spoke a warning "Unlike me whom won't eat humans, Pokegirls, or Pokeboys...She means it and I won't stop her if she does so."

The boy blinks then Sundash bares her long Pyroar like teeth causing him to double think on his approach as he hesitates "On second thought, this knight might've bit more off than he could chew."

"What are you blabbing about now?" a smiling brown haired boy asked as he walked into the room.

The boy had spiky black hair, like the blond boy he too wore an orange jump suit except for one thing, he was barefoot.

"This kunochi was going to feast on me for attacking her" the blond boy said.

"Why would you attack a kunochi that didn't attack first?" the black haired boy asked "Besides if the kunochi wanted to attack us...She'd probably already do it in some surprise attack."

"Which is dishonorable" Arthur admitted.

"Don't talk to me about dishonor" Sundash said defending herself and other kunochi "It's not a girl's fault if boys can't control their excitement when they see a girl out in the opened."

The black haired boy introduced himself "Sorry for Arther's out burst ladies! Are you two new recruits to Fire Force Company 8? Allow me to introduce myself I'm Kusakabe, Shinra! "

Maki answered for Flare and Sundash "They aren't full members of Fire Force company 8, but with recent developments lately I decided to call my student in and in a bonus got her friend Sundash to join too!"

Flare blinked confused but serious as well wanting to know what was causing her sensei trouble "What recent developments Maki-Sensei?"

Maki grew serious as she addressed Tamaki "Tamaki, lock the doors! We gotta meet the captain and the Lieutenant. They are waiting for us in the meeting room as well as waiting for two guests to arrive which they are."

Tamaki obeyed locking the door, both Flare and Sundash know knew this wasn't the typical visit both girls were expecting, both had a feeling they had been dragged into a conflict. Instead of being mad at this both girls were eager to show off their skills! Once Tamaki locked the doors, the group of six walked to the meeting room. Once in the meeting room, there were two men, one was a brown haired man wearing glasses, and the other was a middle aged man with black hair. The two men were waiting for them with Maki announcing to them "Captain, and Lieutenant my guests I invited to come yesterday have arrived."

"Great!" the captain said waving to everyone "Please everyone take your seats."

The six take their seats and the meeting soon began with the captain speaking up "So before we begin this meeting in earnest, I see Maki's guests are here, would you ladies like to introduce yourselves?"

The two girls did with both dropping their cloaks showing off their Pokegirl features. It is Flare that spoke "I'm Flare the Flareon Girl, and Maki Oze's student!"

At this the Lieutenant looks at Maki "So we've finally meet your mysterious student Maki...I hope you aren't teaching her bad habits."

Maki laughs nervously "Oh Lieutenant...What bad habits are you referring too? I've taught her how to fight and improvise her skills in combat!"

Flare whispered to Maki's ears "This must be the strict but lovable Lieutenant Hinawa"

Maki nodded "Yep presenting Lieutenant Takehisa Hinawa."

Lieutenant Hinawa just nodded his head "Then that's fine if you are teaching her fighting skills and combat skills."

Sundash introduced herself "I'm Sundash the Cinderace girl! I may look like a Cinderace on the outside, but in the inside, I'm part Pyroar on my mother's side!"

"Nice to meet you ladies" the captain said "I'm Captain Akitaru Ōbi, Captain of Fire Force Company 8!"

He then got ready for the meeting "Sorry you two couldn't drop by for what you thought was a visit, but we sort of needed some help with what had recently developed."

Both Flare and Sundash were silent listening to him with Sundash speaking up "You realize that neither Flare and I know what recent developments are about."

"Indeed" the captain admitted "Typically we'd be able to handle this situation but Maki suggested that she may need help from her mysterious student."

Flare smiled "Maki-Sensei knows me well to know when I'm needed!"

Maki smiled back "You were my best student Flare. Everything I know you know." she catches Lieutenant Hinawa looking at her as if to silence her from speaking otherwise they'd never get this meeting sorted "Sorry captain, carry on!"

"No need to be harsh on her or her two guests" the captain told Takehisa "I can tell they are just as curious to learn what we learned...Lieutenant, turn on the screen and play back the video we got a week or two ago."

Lieutenant Hinawa obeyed the captain's orders and the TV screen flashed a black video. Both Flare and Sundash studied the scene carefully. Now while Flare didn't recognize the white clothed men which were on it Sundash took notice on the robes and how they were worn. She frowned "That looks similar."

"Already?" Shirna asked her.

Sundash frowned "Almost...Flare do you recall your cousin Candy being kidnapped?"

"I DO!" the Flareon shouted angrily "THAT WAS THE DAY I SUFFERED A WATER BASED INJURY AND COULDN'T DO A THING TO HELP UNDER NURSE HONEY'S ORDERS!" she pauses "But why do you ask?"

Sundash was silent assuring her friend "Keep watching, and I'll explain if I see what I think we're going to see."

The video progressed with Fire Force company 8 arriving to do battle against the white clothed only to face off against an Inferno...Which they easily beat but upon doing so a new figure appeared...This time a black cloaked figure which wasted no time to attack Fire Force Company 8 forcing them to retreat buying the White clothed figures time to retreat as well. Seeing the black cloak caused Flare to frown understanding why Sundash thought the white robes looked familiar "I recognize what you were getting towards Sundash...Those white robes…"

"Are similar to the ones that kidnapped your cousin Candy" Sundash said nodding to her best friend "Only in that situation of what happened to her yesterday, our attackers wore black robes instead of white robes. I'm thinking our attackers got influenced by these white clothed people to do the same to conceal their identities."

"You seen these black robes before?" Maki asked them.

Flare frowned "The black robes, yes Maki-Sensei...My family including my cousins, aunt and uncle had an incident with black robed figures whom kidnapped my youngest cousin Candy. Cousin Moonlight persuaded them and shortly after the rest of us came around from being put to sleep by one of those black robed figures, Aunt Electra, and cousin Sunlight went to save her-"

"Why didn't you go with them?!" Maki asked shocked Flare didn't go "Family is all that matters to you"

"As it should" Shirna agreed with that statement.

Flare answered "I would've went Maki-Sensei, but I had a Battle Course fight with Sundash's…" she pauses looking at Sundash as if to figure out how to describe Meadow and Sundsah's relationship "Rival Meadow the Milotic Girl, I had a Water Based injury that Nurse Honey told me not to do anything but punch or kick if I needed to fight so I was out of commission sadly."

Maki understood realizing what water based injury meant. Sundash continued "We are unsure what those black robes that did that to Candy were after...All I can confirm is that...They tried to kill Electra, Sundash, and Moonlight when they tried to save Candy. Meadow and I were cast aside too...That darn Greninja guy…"

Lieutenant Hinawa turned his attention to Flare and Sundash "So you do recognize the black robe?"

"Sadly we do" Flare growled snapping her fingers "For what they tried to do to my cousins, and Aunt, I owe them payback for."

"Which is why I thought of you Flare" Maki said "You see I have reason to believe that black robe figure is from your home world. Which Pokemon he or she is I have no clue, but you and Sundash's skills are needed to help us bring them down. Those white robes...As you know Flare are the cause of the Inferno problem-"

"Which is why I didn't bring my younger two sisters along" Flare said understandingly "They wanted to come but I told them no. Not this time."

"You have sisters?!" Shirna asked her.

"I do" Flare said "Three of them...One older than I am Flora the Leafeon girl, and two younger sisters, Ariel the Vaporeon Girl, and Glace the Glaceon girl."

"Glace being an Ice type wouldn't last long here" Sundash admitted "Especially with those Inferno thing."

"Which we know how they do it now" Maki said she looks at Flare "Flare's gonna snap when she sees how...But Lieutenant...Please show her, she wants to know how it happens."

The lieutenant nodded playing the video. All Flare and Sundash saw was a small black bug being attatched to an unaware person then the person instantly went a flame becoming an inferno. Maki was right this did set Flare off and she erupted with fire as well catching Arthur, Shirna, and Tamaki briefly on fire. Sundash being a Fire type wasn't affected and Maki was also unharmed, the three younger Fire Force 8 members were still doing the stop drop and roll with Tamaki's outfit burning completely off leaving her naked causing her to shout "NOT MY LUCKY LEUTIRE AGAIN! AND THIS TIME I DIDN'T EVEN CAUSE IT!"

Maki smiled sweetly "Told you, you wouldn't like it Flare."

"You could've warned us she could explode like that!" Arthur protested.

"That hurt worse than any other Inferno could" Shirna muttered in agreement.

"Of course it did" Sundash said "Flare's a Fire type, so it's only natural she'd hurt worse than an Inferno would or those White clothed people can."

"Why aren't you hurt?" Tamaki inquired "You are sitting right besides her!"

Sundsah answered with a smile "I'm a Fire type too! I resist fire type moves if it were a move, but that explosion of fire...That wasn't an attack that was an outburst of anger that builds up in a Fire type and comes erupting when the pressure causes him or her to burst. It has no damaging effect on other Fire types though."

"Lucky you!" was the response from the three younger Fire Force Company 8 members.

Flare then looked at the captain "Captain...Does that bug turn anything it bites into an Inferno no matter the typing? Like I have a Water type sister...I know Glace would easily become on so she's never gonna be visiting here. But will it affect water types?"

The captain frowned "From what we've learned about that bug, it is said that only a Fire type would be immune to it's bite...A Water type would resist it but only till her water evaporates within her and then she'll become an Inferno."

Flare frowned "I was right to say no to Ariel and Glace then."

Sundash nodded "Yes, you were Flare."

Flare's fist formed a fire around it as she vowed "If those white clothed members go after Ariel, or Glace...I will hunt them down and tear them apart. This goes for if they try to do that to any of my cousins, Aunt or Uncle...Mess with them or turn them into an Inferno...And they will regret it when I get to them."

The Captain turned to Flare and Sundash "Will you two join us to stop that black robed figure? I know it's not my place to ask but we could use your help."

There was no decision needed at the threat these Inferno causing bugs was too much for them to ignore both girls agreed "We'll help!"

"Thanks" Maki said.

"What's the next step?" Flare inquired.

The captain answered "When the next Inferno is to come. The white clan will make their move...Until then we have to lie and wait."

Flare had another idea "Alright your the Captain, but may I suggest something?"

The captain turned to her "Sure, what is it?"

Flare turned to Sundash whom understood by just looking at her friend "You want me to go scouting the city for the White Clan and the black robed figure?"

"Exactly" Flare said "Why wait for them to attack needing the location where you can send a clone to us to inform us while the real you intercepts them and waits for reinforcements to arrive!"

Sundash smiled sweetly at her friend "Spoken like a true friend Flare! Alright I'll do it...Captain...or Lieutenant Hinawa, give me a map to the area so I know where you'll be able to get to quickly when I spot them."

Lieutenant Hinawa gave Sundash the map to their localized area and no sooner had he done this, Sundash put on her cloak, then brings her fingers up and seemingly disappeared "You'll hear from a clone of me!"

Once she was gone Maki turned to Flare "Good idea using your kunochi friend Flare!"

"Thanks!" Flare said "It's like I said why wait for them to attack when we can get the drop on them! We must expect that your enemies doesn't realize that visiting you and the other Fire Force Company 8 members is the best kunochi of her village! I trust Sundash with my life and she trusts me with her life. She won't fail us!"

The captain actually agreed with that "It's gonna be a pleasure fighting alongside you two...Say Flare...How about you demonstrate your fighting skills?"

"Yeah!" Shirna said "Master vs. student!"

Maki giggled "oh Shirna why should I fight her? She still has much to learn."

"Then whose gonna be her opponent?" Shirna asked.

The Captain, Lieutenant Hinawa, and Maki all stared at Arther, Shirna and Tamaki with Tamaki gasping "US?!"

Flare cracked her knuckles "I'm always willing to show off Maki's teaching skills! Besides you three are Rookies are you not?"

"Fine" was the response from the three humans.

Fire Force Company 8 head to the roof top of their building where Flare prepared herself for the three of them. Tamaki whom had her new outfit on was nervous as she spoke to Shirna and Arther "We aren't sure for how long Maki's been teaching Flare, but we might be over our heads."

"Think of this as training" Flare said to the three getting ready for them "Training to fight an Inferno! After all I'm a Fire type Pokegirl, so you could benefit with the training."

"She's right!" Lieutenant Hinawa said.

Flare stood ready for her three opponents to make their move. The three younger Fire Force Company 8 members begin circling Flare. Now Flare had no idea of what they had for their abilities but if they would attack with fire, then they were going to see why Flare would be a good training partner as Fire thanks to Flash Fire as her ability made her immune to their attacks, but she wouldn't tell them it yet.

Flare watched them circling her preparing herself "Alright you three come at me when you are ready! Come at me with all you've got!"

"Will do!" Shinra said although he was nervous about fighting Flare, as he recalled getting completely owned by Maki in his and Arthur's spar against her and him accidentally calling her an ape which set her off almost to the point of Maki almost going to kill them with a huge fire ball that would've made a Cinderace proud that was until the Lieutenant arrived to calm her down, instead he has is cool smile which told Flare that when he was nervous he seemed to prefer smiling which made her in turn smile back at him giving him the information that she wasn't going to go easy just because they were humans, to Flare a spar was just as serious as a normal battle fight.

With this the three humans circle Flare waiting for an opening. The Flareon kept her cool just like Maki had taught her.

Yeah, I know there wasn't a fight scene in this but I did want to show off Flare meeting the Fire Force Company 8 whom may or may not be her future work place in her current age at 18. Anyway there will be TWO battles in the upcoming chapter. I would've put more into the sparring session Flare's currently having but word limit was reached...So we'll have to wait another two weeks! Anyway next chapter is Chapter 11: Earthly Adventure P2: Flare gives Arther, Shinra, and Tamaki much needed training, but then Sundash spots the black cloaked figure and it's white cloaked allies, can Sundash stop an Inferno from happening while alerting her friend and allies about the threat?
