Chapter 14: Rescuing Snow P2

Flare was continuing to make progress in the building while looking for Snow her aunt's best friend. Typically the Flareon would be rushing into things without a plan. Sure this usually worked on anyone that tried to pick on her, or her two younger sisters but those were more of the bullies or in the most extreme cases...Cannibals looking for an easy meal not that Flare would be any cannibal's definition of an easy meal. This time it was a rare thing for Flare to do but she was careful with every step. She watches around herself expecting someone to try to come at her at any moment. She wanted to give her younger sister Ariel more time to find a pathway through the air vents to get to where the enemy had taken Snow. Finally as she moved downward Flare's eyes caught sight of a shadow darting from behind her. The Flareon girl easy ducked avoiding the attack then as she could see it was one of these dark robed figures grabbed onto his arm, then not only broke it effortlessly but also pinned him all with one fluid motion. His screams of pain echoed nearly immediately "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! THAT SMARTS!"

Flare had no sympathy for the cloaked figure rolling her eyes at his comment. Honestly what did he think would've happened? Did he not know of her abilities as a fighter? Sensing that this might bring others to the place Flare thought about stomping on his face to knock him out as she asked him "WHERE'S SNOWFLAKE?!"

"NOT TELLING!"

"Fine by me!" Flare shouts then she stomped on him, but not on his face, his other arm which broke immediately "AHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Flare looked at him growling "That's two of your bones I broke. How many must I break before you give me the answer."

"You wouldn't break all of them!"

How naive did he think of her? Too prove him wrong Flare immediately broke both of his legs with one painful stomp causing him to scream in pain more. She eyes him this time aiming to stomp on his chest "Shall I break all your ribs next?!"

"Okay, okay we hidden her in the dungeons above a pit of acid!" the figure answered.

Flare continued her interrogation "Where are these dungeons?"
"Two floors down!" the figure cried out then he grinned "But you'll never make it there! There are a whole lot of Ground, Rock, and Water types guarding down there. A babe like you would never-"

WHAM! Flare stomped on his face knocking him out in fact she had almost killed him with that stomp. Then she proceeded to follow the pathway to these dungeons. Two floors down that must mean there were two layers of stairs somewhere. She looks for them finding a set while on the way quickly disposing any dark cloaked figure that dared to intercept her.

Up above safe and sound in the air vents Ariel was making her way through the vents. Sure they were a bit tight if the Vaporeon girl was even a bit fatter or taller there was no way she'd fit. Yet the fact was she wasn't making her way through the vents. She was silent as she did this. Well as silent as she could be no need to make noise...That was Flare's job after all. Problem with being in the vents were well her visibility was low. She heard her phone getting a text message. She reaches for it and looks at the message was from Flare just now saying she interrogated an enemy and told her where Snow was being held. Ariel was about to text back when due to low light she didn't see that there was a huge deep hole in the vents. She may not have known about it but she soon found herself falling down the huge air vent shaft mentally screaming her head off from the unexpected fall. She almost lost the battle in not screaming out loud had it not been for the fact she managed to move both of her legs sideways so that she was literally doing the splits in air vent. She huffs as the metallic vents did scrape her feet a bit still she was able to stop her decent down the vent. Her heart was pounding as she looked to see where she was. She somehow had fallen two vents down before being able to do the splits.

"Oh this is uncomfortable now" Ariel muttered feeling some pain in her legs due to having to maintain her current formation "Way to go Ariel nearly falling down these air vents...If you didn't think to do the splits right then you might've hit your head upon landing."

She was catching her breathe as her heart was pounding at the unexpected fall. Once she was able to overcome the stinging pain from her feet and legs as well as catch her breathe she proceeds to make her way down the air vent.

Blaze, Maki, and Tamaki were doing their best to make progress in the city. Blaze had never faced an Inferno before so this was his first time seeing one up close. As he was battling these things he could clearly see that Maki and Tamaki were right. The only way to safely end their suffering was to put them down for good. Blaze himself never liked killing anything or anyone but there wasn't any known way to reverse this effect. He had managed to deal with six of them getting them all in one line. He ran forward then began to spin around using Drill Run to strike a blow to the Infernos defeating them "May your souls rest in peace" the Arcanine boy said to them.

He watches as Maki was able to take two of the Infernos down while Tamaki managed to take another two down. The shorter black haired pigged tailed girl turned towards the other three "That's ten of these Infernos we took down."

"More to go!" Maki said sighting more "Just a lot slower now."

"It's almost like they mean to keep us here for some reason" Blaze told the two.

"That maybe the case cause we've never seen or had to fight so much Infernos at once" Tamaki admitted "Usually one but never ten or in this case more than ten."

"We just have to hope my student Flare and her sister Ariel make it to Snow to save her then get her out" Maki told them firmly "Let's do what we can till they return safely with Snow rescued!"

Blaze agreed "Whoever is responsible for this outbreak of these poor souls that have been transformed into these things should be found and held accountable."

"If this madness with this organization your family is somehow targeted by ends one day...Then they will be" Maki said agreeing with him on that.

Sundash was doing all she could against the Gerninja man. She was the strongest Genin rank out of her class but this guy was leagues above hers...Possibly a Jounin...No she reasoned possibly more than Genin. Whatever trick she thought of to gain an edge it was as if he could see where she was going at. Finally it happened she missed with Pyro Ball wide right! He would then let her have it with one mean kick to the head sending her crashing into the ground painfully. He then threw his Water Shuriken at her in an attempt to slice her in half. She thought quickly and she curled up into a ball so that the attack wouldn't slice her...Instead it found her square in her back pinning her to the ground with her opponent standing on her head cruelly as if he was gonna stomp on it to remove her head.

"You fight well for a Genin" He told her admiringly "Yet you are about to die...Such a shame you failed you friend...Looks like my resolve was greater...Oh well time to remove that head of yours before dining-"

"Hope you choke on a bone" Sundash growled hating his foot on her head like that.

He smirked raising his foot to end her life "Stubborn but loyal to your friend in the end. Say hello to Lord Giratina for me!"

He lifted his foot high then once he was about to finish Sundash off an electrical Thunderbolt came out of nowhere striking him in the back. The move was super effective on him and he stumbled a bit. He turned looking for whoever shocked him when he sensed a Leaf Blade coming his way and leaped away from the attack causing it to miss. When he landed he saw Flora the Leafeon Girl was standing over Sundash as well as Electra the Jolteon Girl rushing over to help her up.

"Ah…" he said looking at them "Reinforcements for the defeated Sundash."

Electra glared at him angrily "I haven't forgiven you for what you did to my Candy!"

"All I've done was what I was paid to do" he told her "And that was to aide those other foolish individuals. After all Officer Electra, you understand about being paid."

Electra growls at him "It's true police officers are paid but we aren't comparable to those that kidnap, and try to murder an innocent family! We are paid to maintain peace and to put criminals like you behind bars!"

"Another innocent soul corrupted and blinded by the truth"

"Stop talking nonsense!" Flora shouted coming at him with another Leaf Blade.

He sidestepped her attack then before Flora had a chance to think of another attack he shot an Ice Beam at her at point blank range. The Leafeon Girl screams in pain "AHHHHHHHHH!" as she is forced backwards "That's cold! Yet...Not as cold as Glace's ice attacks!"

He eyes her "You say stop talking nonsense? Your the one to talk Leafeon...You push your sisters around...Just to make you feel better about your situation."

He left himself wide open as Sundash managed to strike him with Pyro Ball scoring a Super-Effective hit on him due to his ability Protein turning him into an Ice type for extra damage onto the Leafeon girl. He brushes himself off as he glared. Flora soon joined her Aunt and Sundash on their side while the three watch their opponent. He grinned "Three against one hugh? Well I look forward to this! You Cinderace will die while the others...My employers would want to see them die too but not before they are captured."

"You'll try to do that" Electra warned "It won't work!"

He chuckles "We shall see. I won't fail!"

The three girls prepare to fight this crazy Gerninja.

Inside the building where Snow was being held captive in Flare was making quick progress. As she was making the progress bodies of Ground, Rock, and Water types that she had rendered unconscious. Flare was on a mission to save her aunt's best friend and no one was going to stop her not even those that were considered her weaknesses. Finally she made it to the floor where Snowflake must've been held in. No Flare knew she was held here because she could detect the Alohan Ninetails Girl's scent. She was certainly guarded by threats to Fire types like Flare. A Blastoise man, a female Gyardos, a Ryrperior, and a Tyranatar for example. She was certain that the ground or rock types in Tyranatar's case knew Earthquake a move she constantly struggled against yet she had to make an entrance for her younger sister Ariel to make her move. The Flareon sighted them all walking forward and they certainly saw her with the Blastoise remarking "Our prey arrives."

Flare fearlessly approached "You boys and girls have someone that doesn't belong held hostage! I'm gonna bust her out and you all won't stop me!"

The Tyranatar smirked lifting his leg ready to unleash an Earthquake "What's a lone Fire type going to do against us? One Earthquake is all that'll take!"

"Then what's keeping you?" Flare challenged "Shouldn't be too hard for bullies like you."

"THEN DIE HUMILIATED!" the Tyrannatar shouted with all his allies warning him "NOOOOOOOOO!"

It was too late he slammed his foot into the ground causing a massive Earthquake. Flare managed to hurl herself over the trember for once causing it to miss her. However his allies weren't so lucky as they took the damage except for the Gyarados girl whom thanks to being part Flying wasn't effected by the move.

"Idiot!" the Gyarados growls at the Tyrannatar "Never use Earthquake when you have teammates around!"

She growls licking her lips "While you boys are picking yourself up...I'll score me a Flareon girl meal! I'll try to save some of her for you boys but no promises!"

She had already set up a Dragon Dance in anticipating Flare to arrive like this. With what she thought was extreme speed she attempted to use Waterfall on her foe. Flare manages to avoid the attack by leaping up and onto the face of the Gyarados girl whom smirked "Doesn't matter you're gonna get eaten!"

"Eat this!" Flare shouts unleashing her imperfect Shockwave upon her foe.

The Gyarados girl wasn't expecting an electric attack from a Flareon Girl and after the electric attack had electrocuted her frying her brain the Gyarados falls lifeless instantly. She had died so instantly that even as she hit the ground her eyes were full of surprise. Flare lands looking at the remaining boys "Anyone of you think I'm a weakling? Well think again!"

"A Flareon girl that know Shockwave?" the Blastoise asked "Just how?! That's illogical!"

"Ever heard of genetics?" Flare shot at him "My Aunt Electra is related to me through blood line since she is an Electric type...I am able to learn an Electric move...Maybe not the strongest but I figure what the heck, keep an electric attack on you...So whose next?!"

Turns out the Ryyperior was as he charged her "Let me give you a punch to your face!"

He towered over the Flareon girl whom once more leaps at him, dodged his punch, then using Super Power managed to land the blow to his horn like nose which broke on impact. He cries in major pain as the nose wasn't the only thing broken. Her Super Power move also did some damage to his skull in the process. She wasn't done there for she wrapped her legs around his neck then thanks to reversing the effects of Super Power making her gain an attack and defense boost she managed to twist her legs in a way that his neck broke upon impact as she tossed him onto the ground. He too fell never to rise again. She cracks her knuckles as she looks at the remaining two "Two of you left hugh? Well then let's get to work."

"You are a murderer!" the Blastoise shouts at her "You killed two of us in a blink of an eye!"

"Oh I'm no murderer" she told him "You and your organization are the murders. Your leader orchestrated a hit on my aunt trying to kill her. Before that your leader also kidnapped my youngest cousin Candy to lure my Aunt, as well as my two oldest cousins and sister Ariel whom your organization wanted dead! And now...You try burning this town down in a third attempt to capture or kill my family! Don't come saying that your a victim here! I know this is a trap for my family in another attempt to kill us off! All I'm doing is fighting to free my aunt's best friend whom you've kidnapped."

The Tyrannatar approaches her but very carefully. Their four numbers should've meant that this Flareon Girl would be defeated and ultimately shared as meat for the four of them. It shouldn't have had to go down to two of their number already lying dead at this girl's hands. Using Stone Edge he hurled the attack the Flareon Girl. Flare does all she can to avoid the attack with ease only to take a Hydro Pump attack from the Blastoise while she was in midair. Flare recovered swiftly then avoided another Stone Edge attack by ducking the sharp stone shards. It is then she noticed that the Blastoise set up a Rain Dance. He smirked at her "Let's see you beat the remaining two of us now!"

Flare looks at them unafraid "You act as if I haven't fought while it's raining! Get ready cause I'm not gonna hold anything back!"

The two remaining villains prepared to take her out.

Ariel was indeed coming closer to her final destination. As she got closer through the vents she could hear that her sister Flare was indeed doing her part in fighting the villains off. Ariel held back tiny giggles as she saw bodies of defeated enemies that her sister easily left behind. Now majority of them were knocked out. She did see the slain Gyarados girl and the Rhyperior man. While this was going on Ariel made it to the far end of the vent. She peered down to see Snowflake alive, tied up and gagged. Around her was poisonous acid if she attempted to free herself. Ariel whispers "Snow...Miss Snow do you hear me?!"

Snow did and tried looking for her. Ariel responded "Look up above at the air vents!"

Snow listened then turned her attention to see Ariel in the air vents. Her eyes seemed to ask for help. Ariel nodded understandingly "That's why I'm here! Have you frozen the ropes that are on you?"

The Ninetails girl nodded as Ariel spoke quietly "Sit tight then! I'm gonna use Scald on the ropes you have frozen."

Snow nodded her head as Ariel edged herself closer towards the chair Snow was tied to. She opened her mouth and unleashed her Scald at the frozen ropes. Upon the extremely hot water attack meeting the frozen ropes the ropes melted freeing Snow. The Alohan Ninetails managed to get up from her chair then watch as Ariel using her tail began untying bolts to the vents. Despite the acid that was in the room at least on her front, back, and part of the sides there wasn't any near the vents. Snow carefully pushed over the chair she was forced to sit in under the vent. Once the last bolt was loosened the opening to the vent fell but into the hands of Snowflake whom would then toss the opening into the acid letting it dissolve without a sound. She then looked up to see the vent with Ariel speaking up "I know, you'll complain about your fine model figure but now's not the time! You want to be free right? Well the only way to do so is up these vents."

Snow sighed heavily as she got onto the chair, used it as a boost to climb into the vent just as a Keckleon guard decided to check in on the captive. He gasped looking around seeing her gone. He ran into the place to shut off the acid thinking she let it get to her before her rescuers could save her. He completely missed her feet disappearing above into the vent. Ariel saw her chance whispering to Snow as she used her tail to remove the gag whispering to her "Snow, begin following the vents up. I'll catch up shortly. Snow shook her head yes but warned "Be careful Ariel...They are out for blood. To be specific for you and your family's blood."

"I know that" Ariel told her "This isn't our first conflict with them, and we don't know why though."

"I might have some answers" Snow said.

"Follow the vents up" Ariel replied to her "I'm gonna deal with that guard before he announces your escape. That wouldn't end well if they figure out how you escaped."

"Gotcha" the Alohan Ninetails responded already beginning to make her way up the tight narrow passage ways.

Ariel walked to the edge of the vent, timed it right then pounced on the guard. It was a textbook pounce and he didn't see her coming. Only once he felt her on him did he attempt to sound the alarm knowing this girl somehow freed their captive. Only he wouldn't be getting a sound out as Ariel put her mouth against his, opened it then unleashed a Scald attack right into his throat burning it completely through. The guard didn't stand a chance to sound the alarm falling lifeless look of surprise was on his face as he stared upward with lifeless eyes. Thinking quickly Ariel reactivated the room to fill with acid as if to give the illusion nothing was wrong. The Vaporeon girl then used the chair Snow was sitting in to gain access to the vent then entered it too. She quickly made her way up seeing Snow right in front of her. The Alohan Ninetails was making progress but it was slow due to her being in a very tight spot. Sure Ariel could fit but Snow barely could. Thinking quickly Ariel put her head on Snow's backside to help push her up the shaft. The Ninetails looked at her "You got him that quickly?!"

Ariel was blushing "Yep, did a textbook pounce then...Placed my mouth against his and unleashed Scald...He won't ever be sounding the alarm ever again. Now come on we gotta get out quickly."

"But your sister from what I'm hearing is still fighting" Snow whispered as the two could still hear Flare fighting against her two foes.

Ariel smiled patting the Alohan Ninetail's back "I have fate in my sister, those two are the ones in danger."

Snow was confused by that as she wasn't in the loop that Flare was a dangerous fighter "How will she know you've saved me though?"

"I'll text her when we get out of these vents...Come on while I've dealt with that guard who knows how much longer other guards may try to come in to check. I didn't exactly fix the vent."

"Oh, good point!"

Outside of the room Ariel was proven correct. Despite the rain Flare was easily dealing with the Blastoise and the Tyrannatar. The Tyrannatar had learned not to use Earthquake but soon knew that without it he couldn't land a blow. He tried one more Stone-edge missing Flare once again what was worse was that was his last Stone Edge, he used all five of them up and the Flareon avoided them all! She sensed this and came at him with a flying kick. He gasped as the kick was stronger than he thought it would then she used another Super Power attack striking him in the chest! He screams as he falls to the ground knocked out with a completely shattered rib cage. The Blastoise was watching with a look of disbelief. Another type that was good against Fire types easily defeated. As he was thinking his next move she came at him and gave him a punch to his face. The powerful punch sent him onto his back feeling several bones in his face were broken "What am I dealing with here?! Her punches are stronger…BUt that can't be right...That was Super Power so her attack shouldn't be high?"

"Guess you aren't informed about me" Flare said charging him.

He growls as he uses Iron Defense to increase his defenses. This helped him to endure her charge which she ended up giving him a kick to his chest. He growls catching the Flareon's hands in his own "Gotcha bitch!"

He aimed his cannons at her "Any last words before you become my lunch?"

She smirked "Seems your forgetting something…"

His eyes widened as he saw her building up electricity it was too late for him to let go so he unleashed his Hydro Pump on her in point blank range just as she unleashed her Shock Wave attack on him. WOOSH! She took more damage which almost blasted her head off but the resulting Shockwave caused him to stumble. Flare recovered swiftly more than her opponent. He blinked once as Flare was upon him. He managed to catch her fists but at this point she was using her Will O Wisp attack causing his hands to burn then was over whlemed by the massive Will O Wisp ball that engulfed him sending him back. He grunts never expecting a Fire attack that strong despite the rain. She didn't let up as she began digging underground. He came at a sudden stop then tried to anticipate where she was coming from. Sadly he couldn't as she took him off guard by appearing right underneath him landing one Super Power punch to his chest which shattered like the Tyrannatar's then a Super Power kick to his nuts sent him onto his back screaming bloody murder. She finishes it with a lethal Flare Blitz taking him down. Amazingly he was still alive and he attempted to fight her yet she was upon him standing on his chest huffing as she eyed him "This'll teach you to kidnap my Aunt's best friend then use her as an attempt to kill me along with my family."

He eyed her begging "Please have mercy! I have a family too!"

Flare glared at him then unleashed a Shock Wave onto him knocking him out "Then maybe you'll think of them and quit this organization!"

As he was shocking him she was amazed how well he survived against it. He lifted a hand giving her a thumbs up as if to say perhaps he'll reconsidered after this humiliating defeat then he went unconscious. Flare looked at the four combatants she had been fighting, sure they were all her weaknesses but they never dealt with a Flareon that strong as Flare. She looks at the two Pokehumans that she had killed then the other two whom she left unconscious "Serves you right for doing this."

She then got Ariel's text saying she freed Snow and made it out safely. Taking this into consideration Flare left the current floor. She'd meet her sister and Snow waiting for her in Snow's room where she had been preparing for the show. Ariel turned hugging her sister "Flare you're safe!"

"I am" Flare assured her.

"Yet you are soaking wet!" Ariel told her.

"I know, this is what you get when one of your opponents use Rain Dance, blasts you twice with Hydro Pump" Flare said then she smirked "You should see what I left behind!"

"I have a feeling you had fun defeating them" Ariel told her sister.

Flare winks "You know me well. Although best not to tell Aunt Electra that I did sort of kill two of them."

"I'm sure Electra will understand why you did" Snow told her "You were doing it to save me also technically self defense too."

The three now walk outside to see Blaze, Maki, and Tamaki finishing up fighting the Infernos. The three see that Ariel and Flare were successful. Maki smiled warmly "Good work work you two! You saved Snow!"

"Yes, and we see you were able to stop these Infernos" Ariel said.

"Let's quickly join your aunt, sister Flora, and Sundash" Blaze told them.

The six go onto the rooftop of where Electra, Flora, and Sundash were fighting against the Gerninja. Despite it being three against one their opponent was holding his ground but barely. He then sensed as all six gathered. He turned to see himself completely surrounded by the rest of the group.
"This plan as failed somehow" the Gerninja replied.

Flare grinned "You really think that four types that are good against me are going to work? Heck no! I beat them all fair and square."

"I can see that Flareon" the Gerninja admitted rudely "Perhaps I misjudged your abilities as a fighter. You are better skilled than your friend Sundash."

"Don't compare us together" Flare told him "Sundash is a wonderful kunoichi and a good friend. We work well together and if there's something I hate it's those that want to kill us for nothing."

The Gerninja shook his head "You are foolish to not see a reason...Anyway since those inside the building where the Ninetails was held in had failed I no longer have to be here...Till next time!"

Electra nearly nailed him with a Thunder Wave "Like I'll let you leave!"

Just when she was going to paralyzed him to turn him he presses his hands together then disappears retreating.

Neither one saw where he was going. Electra huffs "In the end you do get away...However you will pay for your crimes."

She then turned her attention to Snow and hugged her "Thank goodness you are okay Snow!"

"I am now Electra" Snow confirmed "Now let's go back to your home as I may have some idea why they are attacking you...Based on my observations when they took me captive so I don't know if it exactly ties into the reason they are attacking you and your family like this."

Electra nodded turning to Flare "Are you going to be okay Flare? Even I can tell you took two water attacks."

"I didn't inhale any water" Flare told her "But I am a bit worn out."

"Then let's go home" Electra told her family, guests, and best friend.

"Let's!" was the response.

In the Dark Church the Gerninja returned to it. He was explaining to High Priest Archeon, Dr. Hyde, and Lady Poison about what happened. He expected each and every single one of his employers to be upset. Understandably both the Hydregon man and Arbok girl were upset at another loss. However the Gerninja took notice of High Priest Archeon "You aren't mad? We lost two of our kind for good with two unconscious with one possibly thinking of quitting. All of those by the way were beaten by that Flareon Girl Flare."

"It wasn't your fault" Archeon told him "You did your part to deal with the enemy kunoichi and oversee things there. You did what we paid you to do. If anyone is to blame it's Dr. Hide and Lady Poison for failing to inform those four fighters of ours about how effective of a fighter Flare was."

The two sent Archeon a look of fear whenever he said they were responsible it left a sting on them. Sadly it was true they didn't mention how powerful Flare was. Archeon replied to the Gerninja "Yes, this scheme failed to defeat them right then and there. It's possible that we've underestimated their resolve to fight for each other...However...The battle isn't over."

He looks into the shadows as he admits "Time for them to meet my number one assassin. Unlike Dr. Hide my number one Assassin never fails me...She'll finish the job."

Dr. Hide muttered "If you are considering using her, I almost feel bad for Electra...She won't see her coming...To consider using your best assassin against them...It's truly remarkable."

"Always have a back up plan" Archeon replied to him.

Lady Poison, and Dr. Hide may have known what Archeon was going to do but they never met his best assassin. They have heard of how deadly she was. On all targets Archeon asked her, this assassin killed 100% of her targets leaving no trace to whom did it. It almost frightened them to know that their leader had a connection to a deadly assassin one that would silence them too if Archeon ordered her to. Or if they betrayed him in someway. They all hid a nervous gulp.

Snow has been rescued and the plot thickens! Who is this assassin? Well we're about to find out. Anyway next chapter is Chapter 15: Lethal Ambush While working undercover to catch a cannibal Electra is attacked by an unknown assailant!
