Marco at a Crossroads

(Author's Notes: Hey everyone! How are you doing? I hope all of you are doing okay. I know it has been awhile since I updated this, and I apologize to all of you fans of this story profusely!

Before I say or do anything else, I want to give praise and honor to the Lord. Thank you God for helping me, not just with my projects but in real-life with my family and friends as well! I continue to look to you for guidance Lord, and also correction as well. I know that I have slipped off the path many times, but I am still determined to be a better servant to Jesus. I ask for your correction and discipline, so that I can accept it and truly learn from my mistakes so that I can be of better service to you. Not the world and the current society/culture that is out and about now, but to you.

I ask you Jesus to continue to look after me, my family, my friends and all of those out there that need you very much. Guide us through these troubling times, and lend us the strength/courage/conviction/endurance/wisdom/insights needed to stand firm and good with you! And not to cave in to a world that has gone off its rocker.

Also, I would like to pay my respects to James Earl Jones. He passed away on September 9th at the age of 93. To me, he lived a long and fulfilled life. And in this day and age, even reaching the ninety area is very rare. I remember him not just as the voice of Darth Vader from the original Star Wars franchise, and the voice of Mufasa in the original 1994 Disney animated film The Lion King, but also as Terence Mann from the 1989 movie Field of Dreams… and my favorite was the blind guy Mr. Mertle from one of my childhood films back in 1993 The Sandlot!

His most iconic line from said film to me will forever be this: I take it back, you're not in trouble. You're dead where ya stand! Hehehehe… always loved that part in the movie! So I would like to pay my respect to James Earl Jones like so; may he be in Heaven with the Father and the Son Jesus Christ, and that his family down here on Earth are comforted and held close to the Lord!

I took the time re-read my own story, and it seems I have made some snafu's in it, like almost duplicating certain chapters and scenarios. I apologize for that, and that was a complete oversight on my part. I apologize to all of you for this, and will do better in the future to make sure no repeats of any kind like I did emerge like so.

Also… truth be told, I have been seeing news that showcases that the Disney company is going down the tubes fast. You all know what I believe in if you have read my Profile, so seeing the company spiraling down like so makes me feel severely disappointed that the dream of Walt Disney has been corrupted badly and decomposing like it is.

And after seeing some news concerning the Magic Kingdom and a summit that will take place there in October of this year… if it does happen… well, will be officially be done with Disney. I will still follow and watch the classic and real movies and such of Disney, the ones I saw as a kid growing up in the 1980s and 1990s.

I can only hope and pray for the company and its affiliations to get off the bandwagon that has caused them to change, and not for the better, these past years. And in a way… glad that they rejected my Monsters and Magic series that I tried to get them to see. If they had accepted my ideas… most likely they would have changed it & corrupted it drastically, in a way that would have hurt me severely. So now thankful for the many rejection letters they sent me.

I will try to speed up the story, but not to sacrifice the quality of both story & character development as that is top priority! So wish me luck in that aspect. I did put Marco and the characters from this story into my Disney/Toho movie special some weeks ago. If you would like to see it, it's the very last chapter of my special called House of Mouse Special- Godzilla 1985. It is quite long, but I believe it has some things there that might surprise you all!

I still need to finish some other projects, but hopefully will be finished with this one. It is only Book One, as I do plan to make Book Two and Three of this series! It will take some time yes, but I believe it will all be worth it in the end!

And to make sure that things are clear timeline-wise, and as a kind of double-note for me just in case: Marco will be released from the hospital on July 1st 2019, which is on a Monday. And he will officially start his mission to go around the world to find and train in the art of ki & other styles on August 3rd 2019, which is on a Saturday.

I still have many areas to improve on in the field of storywriting. So if any of you find anything that needs correcting, let me know in your reviews. I wish to improve as best I can.

I wish to do this for my Tia Pamela Espurova-Allen, and will keep doing it until some solid news comes in. She is working with police and other official groups to locate and bring home a missing girl that is part of a family she works with & has befriended.

Her name is Lina Khil, a little girl that was taken on December 20th, 2021. The search is still on for her, but so far… no luck. A lead was discovered some time ago, but still no word yet on situation. Please continue to pray for them, and also to be on the lookout for her.

Her information is this: She was four years old when she was abducted; hair brown, eyes brown, race Afghan, weight 55 lbs. & height 4'0. If any can help to locate and find her, please do so and notify the proper authorities. Hoping and praying still that she is found alive & returned to her family. They have put up a special about her on TV thanks to the San Antonio Police Department. Any information you wish to seek about her you can search for online, and hopefully it will help to find her and bring her back home safely.

In the words of Winston Churchill- You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life. I will not kowtow or submit myself to others who feel offended at such in what I believe in, and make a big fuss or drama over it that causes unnecessary/unwanted trouble because of them being oversensitive and such.

A new Guest reviewer named Victor Hugo stated in my DP x DB crossover chapter that the quote is false. Well… I do not believe so. I looked it up, and it showcases that Fact-Checkers say that it's false. Considering that it's these so-called Checkers that stated this, makes me believe more that Winston's quote is real. So real or not, going to keep posting it up.

And here is a quote from my Christian hero and role model- Carmelo Domenic Licciardello! He said this: We are called to be effective, not popular. And this I agree with very much.

We cannot please everyone, nor do we ever wish to do so. I believe in the words of my pastor Rick Godwin from Summit Christian Center at San Antonio and it is this: If you try to please everyone, you lose yourself entirely. You lose your identity, your purpose, your direction & your connection with Jesus Christ. So while others may not be pleased at this, it is what it is. My aim is not to please all, but to write a worthwhile story that follows God's Truth. No more, no less.

There will be NO kind of characters or reference to slash or femme-slash of any kind. There will also be NO trans, gender-free, binary/non-binary, gender-neutral characters or notions in this special series, nor in any of my other stories. And will not adhere to certain new definitions/concepts that have cropped up that are in line with what I am against!

Also, NO live-action remakes of any kind are in my stories, not even in this one. I only like/love the classic, original and REAL animated Disney movies and cartoons I grew up with as a kid. These new remakes/reboots of that are up now… no way! This is my stance, and I am sticking to it with conviction!

I am making stories for people to enjoy them, not to please every single being. I have my own ideas, standards, thoughts, theories and so on. If people do not like my stories, it is okay. I cannot please all, and will not lower or compromise myself to please all either. Goes the same in real life too.

So again, just to be sure I am clear… trust in what I do. I may not be a total expert with the Star Vs. series, but I will do my best with what I know and pick up along the way. In addition, I have been seeing a lot of old cartoon & live-action series that I have on VHS & DVD, still working in fine condition. They consist of both Disney & non-Disney series, and thus I have enjoyed & learned much from them to put in here. So this story will also have educational purposes, similar to shows that combined education with entertainment in the 1980s and 1990s.

The action will also take place mostly on Earth, with some taking place in Mewni. The dimension where time is greatly accelerated, Hekapoo's home, will only be shown a minor number of times. After seeing the Diaz's losing their two kids once more to rapid growing up to them not being part of their lives… I will not have anything like that here. I believe that parents should see their kids grow, help them grow and become good adults in the process. So Mariposa nor Marco will return to Hekapoo's home realm.

I should have done this in the first place, but doing so now for the rest of the story. To give credit where it is due. Ratatusk the Mole man, Silka the Giant Spider, King Khan & Queen Seres belong to Author Darkness Rissing, and the Destroian characters belong to Author LORD DESTYRUK. If I have missed something that belongs to someone, please let me know so that I can rectify notes here and give the person the credit for the character, as it is their right.

Dr. Sky Exten and Nurse Delma belong to Author SKYx10, the Author who has made some impressive Star Vs. stories himself & is what inspired me to write my own story connected to the TV series.

It was 7:30 p.m. at Echo Creek, the sun starting its descent over the horizon. At the Diaz household, a number of activities were being done. Mariposa was being a little helper to her mother Angie and Jackie in the kitchen, the duo making dinner for the family and their special guests. Kelly and Higgs were in the living room with Rafael, the father of Marco showing to her one of his DVD's that he had bought some time ago. It was called RAW: The Beginning- The Best of Seasons 1 & 2. Yes, he was showing her a wrestling show.

You see, in his early days as a child, he was introduced to the World Wrestling Federation by his father. This was before he made his choice to make his dedication to art. When he was a young lad, he was amazed at the wrestling & the various wrestlers whom he considered heroes. This was before the company had to change its name entirely due to the WWF acronym already being taken by a national group known as the World Wildlife Fund in 2002.

Rafael had heroes in legendary wrestling stars like Hulk Hogan, Macho Man Randy Savage, Mr. Perfect, Nature Boy Ric Flair, Bret the Hitman Hart, Rowdy Roddy Pipper, André the Giant, the Ultimate Warrior, Ricky Steamboat, the Road Warriors- Hawk and Animal, Shawn Michaels and more back in the 1980s, and it grew in the 1990s with new additions. However, it was in the 2000 that Rafael started to slowly lost interest in wrestling and started to lean more towards art.

However, while shopping with Marco when he was seven years old, the little lad found some DVD's that caught his interest. It was the one that Kelly and Rafael was seeing now, and also a two-disc pack DVD set that was titled Wild Women of Wrestling Collection: Beauties and Bullies. Looking at the covers, Rafael saw that it featured the women of wrestling back in the 1980s. On the front were the pictures of Tina Morretti, Peggy Lee Leather, Luna Vachon, Bambi and Judy Martin.

Both DVD sets were at good prices, and Marco seemed to be quite curious & excited about both of them. Rafael was glad to see that his son was taking an interest in something that he had enjoyed as a kid, and also saw this as a way to bond more with his son like so. He was going to take the WWE DVD set, but Marco was insistent that he get the other one too.

Mr. Diaz saw the way Marco was looking at the ladies on the DVD box, a look of admiration and eagerness on his face. He soon smiled and chuckled softly, seeing that his son was becoming more interested in women, or at least more mature ones in a puppy love/crush sort of way. He was getting at that age where he was starting to see them in a different light, which was pleasing to him.

So he bought both of them, and on a Friday night, the duo watched the first the WWE video. Marco and Rafael bonded as they watched the wrestling matches, the little boy fascinated by the action and the personas of the wrestlers. While he was still focused on safety, since it was two years since the incident with the kidnappers, he still found certain things like professional wrestling interesting.

On Saturday, when Angie had left to go visit her parents who were outside of the city limits & told them that she would be back on Sunday night, the two decided to watch the women wrestling DVD. And just like Rafael predicted, Marco was seeing the matches with a bit more rapture than he did with the WWE ones. Though while old-school, the wrestling ladies still had that class and beauty that seemed to call out to the kid. His favorites were Bambi, Terri Power, Malia Hosaka, Candi Devine, Tina Morretti, Pink Cadillac, Wendy Richter and Sindy Paradise. Rafael could only smile and chuckle at seeing the puppy-love infatuation his son had for the ladies.

He remembered he was at that age too, gaining puppy crushes on women who were a bit older than him. He developed more as he grew, and it was Angie that got his attention completely that made him forget all of those other crushes!

When the time came for Angie to return, she had seen the DVD's and Marco watching with rapt attention while Rafael was in the kitchen making some snacks. Fortunately for her, she saw that the women on TV were not like the women entertainers that were now appearing in the media. She believed the women on DVD were a good influence for children, not raunchy or loose like it was becoming back then.

She approved… but wondered what would happen if Janna or Jackie saw it, or more specifically Marco watching it.

Mrs. Diaz got her answer when on Monday after school, her son invited them over and showed them the DVD's his father got for him. Janna was quite impressed with the WWE matches, Jackie finding it amusing at best. But their eyes widened at seeing the Wild Women of Wrestling show, and seeing Marco paying close attention to the ladies wrestling… their eyes narrowed and did not look too pleased.

Rafael and Angie, who were watching from the side secretly, had amused looks on their faces. They knew that their son was going to be in for a bit of a shake-up due to his puppy love crushes on the older women, and right in front of two girls who already had crushes on him!

So for two years, Marco had various puppy crushes on older women who were seen on TV. At least the ones from older TV series that he saw on a certain channel that aired movies & TV series from the 1980s and 1990s. He had crushes on certain women from American Gladiators; Blaze, Dallas, Diamond and Ice. And also on C.J. Parker a.k.a. Pamela Anderson from Baywatch. And finally certain Disney Princesses such as Jasmine, Ariel, Cinderella, Pocahontas and Snow White.

All this time, Jackie and Janna were not pleased at all by this, and started to do what they could to try and get Marco to quit these silly little puppy-crushes. When he turned ten, he did gradually leave the crushes behind him and started to focus on one that did get his attention, which was Jackie. Jackie was acting all smooth and cool of this, though inwardly she was glad.

Janna, however, was not pleased though she did hide it & started to cover it up with pranks & tricks she pulled on Marco. Rafael and Angie, who had bared witness to all of it, believed that when a child reached a certain age, he or she started to do things more differently. And it showed very much in their own child & the girls he had been close with for so long.

He did still have the women wrestling DVD set, though. Marco had hidden it in his closet in his room, and would sometimes take it out to watch the matches for nostalgic sake.

Now back to the present, Kelly spoke to Mr. Diaz while her eyes were focused on the current match which was Bret Hart vs. Bam Bam Bigelow, "This is awesome Mr. Diaz! Is this the only kind of wrestling here on Earth?".

Rafael chuckled and answered, "Nah! This is only one of many kinds of wrestling, Kelly. They are many kinds of organizations and associations all over the planet that have their own unique style when it comes to professional wrestling. And no matter what anyone says, this kind of thing is real and that is why the ones who do wrestle stay in shape & in good health as best they can. And some are aware of the risks of professional wrestling as well.".

The young man had heard in the news growing up on how some wrestlers had actually died while performing, such as the late Owen Hart who had died in front of a live audience in 1999, and was only 34 years of age. And also he was aware of certain associations that sometimes took professional wrestling too far in extreme ways… and was very much glad that his son did not watch those kinds of entertainment.

Kelly and Higgs were fascinated by the matches and the men wrestling, wondering if perhaps she could show her parents and tribe what she was watching now. The Amazonian and Mewnian had competitions such as games similar to what was done back in the very early days of certain games played in Ancient Greece. Even animal wrestling was done, though what she was watching was certain different & entertaining in a certain way that put the kind of matches she watched to shame.

Angie called out from the kitchen, "Kelly, can you go and fetch Eclipsa and Hekapoo from the Guest Room? It's almost time for dinner?". The green-haired beauty turned around and called out in confirmation before leaving the sofa & heading upstairs. Rafael pushed the Stop and Eject button on the DVD player, taking out the DVD disc and putting it back carefully in its case before taking out the movie that they were going to watch tonight & inserting it in the DVD slot.

In the Guest Room, Hekapoo and Eclipsa were looking at one of the books they had checked out from the Echo Creek Library. The fiery dimensional sorceress was on the bed reading The Constitution of the United States of America: The Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights. The gothic mature beauty was at a desk reading World Geography. Both had spiral notebooks, spare ones that were from Marco's room since he always liked to be prepared, and pencils in hand.

The duo found the notebooks and pencils more versatile & useable than the scrolls used back in Mewni. And even though Hekapoo had seen some other interesting writing implements in her jaunts across various dimensions, she found the ones used by Earth more interesting. Primitive in her view, yet having a certain charm/quality that caught her attention. Just like a certain Earthling that she wanted to settle down with…

In any case, the ladies had been in said Guest Room ever since coming home from their hospital visit, reading through the books & taking down notes. They were doing extensive research, each one comparing Mewni's own history with Earth's own in certain fields/areas.

Eclipsa was fascinated on how Earthlings seemed to know their own world/planet more so than the Monsters & Mewnians knew of their own. She had seen pictures of the continents of Earth, and had found it amazing that indeed the continents of the planet were like a jigsaw puzzle. The book did state that while it was not a perfect fit since some land masses had disappeared due to various natural causes, like earthquakes & tsunami's that did swallow whole lands into the sea, she did see that it was close enough.

She thought to herself in fascination, 'It is truly amazing on how much Earthlings can know much more about their own planet than we do without the use of magic! I know that Goddess Luna told us that the one Mewni inhabits is a planet called Mewmon, but it's still terrible on how little we know about our own world!'.

While some Mewnians and Monsters did have some people that were specialist in the study of certain aspects of geology and such, it was very limited and quite primitive even with the use of magical tools. Or in the case of certain Monsters, natural abilities. Eclipsa could see that humans on Earth were quite intelligent, coming up with certain inventions and theories that helped to shape the world they lived in over many millennia.

So as she saw pictures of the supercontinent that existed hundreds of millions of years ago, 335 million to be precise according to the book, the one called Pangaea. And she had seen the picture of when it started to come apart at the 200 million year mark to form the two giant landmasses known as Laurasia & Gondwanaland. Eclipsa wondered on what Mewni was like in the past… the distant past, before Monsters and Mewnians came into existence.

There was so many questions, and she thirsted for knowledge of any kind as the belief she held strongly was that ANY kind of knowledge was worth learning about. And perhaps if she studied more of Earth's history, then perhaps she can be more prepared to study and learn more about Mewmon's history… with a certain capable Earth-Man to be at her side to help her for the life run.

While Eclipsa was learning about the geography of the world, the buxom Hekapoo was looking over on how the Constitution of the United States came to be. She was mildly impressed on how, according to the book, the colonists from Britain started to get upset with their own country & started to write down a plan for a new kind of government even though they had yet to break away from the British monarchy.

She spoke in a soft tone, "I have to admit, these people had some serious brass to go against their own country and government like that. If something like that occurred in Mewni, the royals would have put it down for good.".

Hekapoo was no stranger to rebellion, given her long life span and ability to travel between dimensions/realms. She had seen her fair share of rebellions rising up against monarchies and such, but very rarely had any of them been successful. And any kind of revolt in Mewni was put down swiftly, be it Monster or disgruntled Mewnian.

The forger of dimensional-cutting objects was going to find out sooner or later that there were many forms of government, not just a few as she had assumed there to be in various worlds. On Earth, there were two categories of government; democratic and non-democratic.

For the Democratic side there was these; Direct Democracy, Representative Democracy- Republic Government and/or Parliamentary Government, and finally Constitutional Monarchy.

For the Non-Democratic side, there was these: Authoritarian, Totalitarian, Oligarchy, Technocracy, Theocracy, Dictatorship and finally Absolute Monarchy.

The other types were government were Communist, Colonialist and Aristocratic. Hekapoo was going to find out that Earth would have these governments in various areas on their trip with Marco around the world, and gain much learning experience & knowledge. And it would help to benefit Mewni and other realms in the future… depending on certain aspects and people, of course.

A knock on the door was heard, Eclipsa answering for the person who was knocking to enter. Kelly opened the door and stated, "Hey you two, time for dinner! Come and get it while it's hot!". She then left quickly to head downstairs, the Queen of Darkness and the Sorceress of Dimensions closing their books & notebooks and putting them away in a safe place before leaving the room.

When they got downstairs, they were greeted by the sweet smell of Angie's cooking. Rafael and Mariposa were already seated at the table, the five fine female guests already finding their seats while Angie presented tonight's dinner. Paper cups and plates were put in the appropriate places. The alluring wife of Rafael then set in the middle of the table on a special metal stand a large plastic plate that held some piping hot dish of Mexican pizza!

It certainly looked different from the pizza that the ladies from the other universe had some days ago. It was topped with refried beans and seasoned ground beef, plus having layers of salsa, Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheeses, tomatoes, green onion and jalapeño slices. Once it was on the table, she went back to the kitchen & brought forth a large container that contained some sweet tea.

Angie took her place by her husband's side and declared, "Dinner is served! There is another one baking, so it'll be about twenty five minutes for it to be done.".

Each of the group took a slice, Rafael helping his daughter with hers and cutting it up to make it easier for her to eat. Kelly took a small bite out of her pizza… and her eyes widened as a sudden burst of flavor of many kinds hit her taste buds! It was the same for Eclipsa and Hekapoo, the Mewnian woman and extra-dimensional beauty eyes also experienced the fiesta of flavor in their mouths.

The Amazonian exclaimed in delight, "WOW! This is incredible! What is this that you made Mrs. Diaz?!".

Said woman smiled with a satisfied culinary pride as she answered, "Oh, just some Mexican pizza, dear. I'm glad that you like it. And from the looks of Hekapoo and Eclipsa, they are fond of it too.". Said women nodded their heads rapidly, soon digging into their slices. The ladies from another dimension knew beyond a doubt that if others from their realm had a taste of what they were eating, they would certainly trade almost anything for it.

It was at this point that the front door opened up, surprising the Diaz couple as they knew they locked said door, but soon relaxed when they saw that it was Janna. Said young lady called out, "Hey everyone! Sorry I'm late, but just had to do something at my home.". Mr. and Mrs. Diaz had given some spare house keys to their home for Janna and Jackie, having that much trust in them.

Mrs. Diaz smiled and replied in a positive tone, "It's okay Jana, and you're just in time! Dinner is served so grab a seat and join in.". The spirited young woman smiled and did so, plopping herself between Mariposa & Kelly and helping herself to the food and drink.

Eclipsa looked at Miss Ordonia, a mixture of concern and curiosity on her face. Last time she saw Janna was a few hours ago, when they were at City Hall:

~Flashback~

After some playful driving on Nachos, which said hybrid dragon-motorcycle enjoyed immensely, the ladies drove back into the town. Jackie was dropped off back home, and Janna & Eclipsa went towards City Hall. The former Dark Queen was intrigued on the building that seemingly housed the authority and history of Echo Creek. Upon entering the complex, she was further drawn in on how different the place looked when compared to the local administration buildings that were back at Mewni.

The place was clean and well organized, well maintained to show that the people who worked in it took pride in keeping it tidy. And people there were active, not sitting in one place with noses in their books like Eclipsa had witnessed back in her home realm.

Janna guided her to a section within the building that was the Hall of Records, which was a place that housed plenty of thick books that housed the records of the citizens. From the modern times all the way to the distant past when the town was first made & officially recognized by the government!

The duo started to look though the books that went way back to the 1800s, leafing through various newsletters and old documents that were still well-preserved after so much time had passed. Since Eclipsa stated that she did not know the exact year when she saw the vision of the past at the Rissing Hacienda, they believed it to be wise to start at that particular turn of the century.

After an hour of going through the books, Eclipsa finally found what they were looking for! Even though photography was invented back in 1822, someone had managed to get pictures via paintings that were done by professionals. Eclipsa found the picture of Eliseo & Loída Rissing, and beside them was their son Alano. And by great good fortune, she also found the picture of the Rissing family back then, on Janna's father's side. The couple's names were Sandalio & Marianela Ordonia, and the four children they had were also shown. The two sons were named Virgilio & Tito, and the two daughters were Amaranta & Emiliana.

They saw the date which was made in 1820, a year before the end of the war between Mexico and Spain for Mexico's independence. The duo started to leaf through the papers… and soon found something that really shook Janna up. It showed that on October 1st of that year, the Rissing Hacienda was reported as being looted, pillaged… and the family that had lived there murdered.

And in the report, among the ones that had looted the estate were Sandalio & Marianela!

This had stunned Janna very much, that her family, at least on her father's side, was part of something tragic. She also wondered why nothing was ever told to her about this. The young woman had been told as a child of her family's history by her father and mother, even her grandparents, but she could not recall at all anything concerning the Rissing family.

After some time to absorb it all, Janna and Eclipsa had put the books away back in their proper places and left the building. When they got in the car, Janna drove to the Diaz residence to drop off Eclipsa. But during the trip, she looked to the magical hybrid and asked, "Listen Eclipsa, do… do you think you can do that time spell thing with a passenger along?".

The Gothic beauty was in thought for a moment, then answered in an honest tone, "It is possible, but I will require the magic wand to help me. Not only does the wand enhance the magic and spell, it will also be able to help me to pinpoint exactly when I need to see.".

The Filipino-American nodded her head, accepting the answer and stated, "Thanks for the info, and I'll have a talk with my Dad about this. I… I really want to have all of the information before seeing what happened in the past. You know, for confirmation and such.". Eclipsa nodded her head, agreeing that having official confirmation about something was always the better choice instead of going off blindly with only partly evidence of any kind.

Once she was dropped off, Eclipsa saw the vehicle drive off, the mature beauty hoping that Janna would get the answers that she needed. And also that she needed to ask her relation Moon to use the magic wand for what needed to be done.

~End flashback~

The former ruler of Mewni was also good at reading faces, and she could see that Janna must have found something as she could see that through her smile, it seemed… strained to say the least. She would ask Janna at a later date on what she discovered from her folks, but in private since it was a personal matter.

The group was talking about the various activities they did during the day, and right as the timer for the second Mexican pizza went off, a dimensional hole came into being in the living room. The group went on guard swiftly as anything could come from a rift in space, but thankfully it was only Queen Moon. Mariposa grinned and waved to the white-haired woman, "Hi Auntie Moonie!". The group chuckled as they found the little nickname amusing. Moon only smiled patiently, but in a genuine manner as she waved back to the little bundle of joy. She walked over to them, the group taking note of her royal battle attire.

Jackie inquired, "Good evening your Highness. I take it that you came back from a training session with Star?".

The mature current ruler of Mewni nodded her head, Rafael pulling up an extra chair for her to sit in which she accepted the offer. She now sat beside Mariposa, who grinned and waved to the pretty lady. Angie had risen up to get the second Mexican pizza, taking it out from the oven and putting the slices on the now empty plastic plate.

While the others grabbed another slice, Moon looked perplexed by the confection before her. She turned to Angie and asked in a curious tone, "Excuse me Mrs. Diaz but… what is this that you just served?". It was not in a rude kind of way, but in a genuine curious way. Angie replied on what it was, and Moon was intrigued by the food as it was something she had never seen at all in Mewni or in her other ventures to different lands and realms.

She looked over to see her relation and the others quickly taking a slice and devouring it, surprised to see Eclipsa really dig into the food. It was not messy per say, but the Gothic beauty was really savoring the unusual slice very much in a way that had Moon now curious about it. She took a slice for herself, Rafael providing a plate for her, and the royal one took a casual little bite of the pizza.

After doing a few chews, the eyes of Moon shot wide open as a burst of multiple flavors hit her tongue in a way that sent her taste buds going wild! She looked down at her slice… and took a big bite this time, savoring the slice and her face showing that she looked to have gone to Heaven! After swallowing the portion, she looked to Angie and declared in a delightful tone, "Lady Diaz, this is wonderful! This is better than anything I have ever tasted in Mewni and in the other realms I have been!".

Angie smiled and thanked her for the compliment, proud to see that her cooking was appreciated. She always put extra love and care into all her creations and work. Moon's appreciation of Earth food skyrocketed, and also drink when she took sip of the sweet tea that also got her tongue crying out in happiness.

Soon the pizza slices were gone, Kelly and the others glad to have eaten such delicious food. Although Moon was lamenting since she only had one slice, already wanting to eat more of the Mexican pizza. Since dinner was done, all of them started to make conversation at the table.

Rafael inquired, "So Queen Moon, how is everything at home?".

The royal beauty wiped her mouth with a napkin and answered, "Star is still having difficulties in her training, and not just the physical ones. I am not surprised due to how much she has neglected her own growth, but I believe I am partially to blame for that matter. I didn't keep a better eye on her, so that fault lies with me.".

Janna put in, "Don't be too hard on yourself Queen Moon. You did the best you could, and allowed Star the chance to do things on her own. She made the choices on her own, and followed the advice of those two friends of hers.". Janna had once found Tom amusing and cute when they first met… but soon felt that there was something more to him. Something devious and deceitful in a way that made her shudder in a negative fashion. So she kept her distance from him. And as for Lilacia, she just found the floating unicorn head very annoying that made her want to pierce her horn through a thick tree trunk so she would get stuck and leave her there.

Queen Moon could only nod her head at this, but she still felt that she could have been more better concerning her daughter's growth and development. Mariposa saw and felt her sadness, putting a hand on her arm and giving Moon a smile which made the mother of Star also smile in gratitude for the child's action.

Angie put in, "Oh, by the way your Highness, I took the liberty of getting a couple of books for you from the Library.". This had Moon look up at her in curiosity, as this was something she did not expect at all.

The mother of Marco continued on, "Kelly and Hekapoo told me that your kingdom doesn't have any kind of schooling except for nobles and royals. I was told on what happened concerning St. Olga's, but I believe that it is very dangerous for children, be they rich or poor, commoner or noble, to go without a proper education. Everyone, especially kids, need to grow and develop in many ways and aspects.".

The current ruler of Mewni knew that Angie had a point there, that her kingdom did lack any kind of education. Any and all education was done by private scholars now, and it was very expensive. The truth of the matter was that the ones in power did not want to let the peasants have access to knowledge and information that could be used against them. Many nobles and royals, minus certain ones, coveted power, knowledge and a certain kind of influence over their subjects.

She looked to Angie and said in a regretful tone, "I agree with you on that Angie, but easier said than done. While I may rule Mewni, the nobles and other rulers that are our neighbors would certainly put up a fierce resistance if any kind of educational decrees were made for everyone.".

Mrs. Diaz nodded her head with a disappointed look on her face and replied, "Yes, I had a feeling it was about that. But still, perhaps these books can convince you and them that an educational system is needed at least for the little ones. It has to start somewhere, so I believe at the very bottom we need to start at & work our way up.". She finished up, saying that she would give her the books at the end of the movie they were going to all watch, which was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III. And also to return them back undamaged before June 25th which was three weeks from now.

Rafael saw that it was now 8:15 p.m., standing up from his chair and announced, "Okay everyone, time to for a movie! Jackie, Janna! You are more than welcome to stay and watch it with us.". The two ladies accepted the offer, the group going to the living room and getting themselves comfortable.

When everyone was situated to where they wanted to be, Rafael turned on the movie!

~In Mewni~

It was 10:00 p.m. in Mewni, the stars shining brightly outside with the moon casting a soft glow on the people down below. King River was already in bed, relaxing in the very large and firm mattress. Usually he would be snoozing away, but today he was doing something quite rare… he was deep in thought and contemplating what had occurred over the past few days & what was going on now.

His daughter certainly looked to be different; while she looked the same on the outside, he could tell that she was different on the inside. The way her posture was, the way she was slow in her walk… and also the look in her eyes. The look of a person who was defeated, but accepted the defeat and was now trying to climb back up. And not in a desperate or imploring kind of way, but in a genuine and real way. One who knew the road ahead would be tough and hard… but would still press on towards it.

While many who witnessed everything that had occurred in the past few days felt sympathetic for Star, certain ones were not. Princess Penelope, Princess Lysimache and Prince Loukianos merely looked to her before turning away. The same went for King Justus, Queen Isadora & Queen Aikaterina. King Khan and Clone-Hekapoo had been training the knights in the ways of Marco Diaz, and were learning on how hard the Earth human boy… no, young man had trained daily.

While Star was indeed getting started in being trained in becoming the princess the kingdom and her people needed, it was going to be very tough for her. King River sighed, knowing that it was partially his and Moon's fault that their daughter was like this. They had done their best to raise her well, teaching her certain things from each of them, and then making the decision to go to Earth to learn on how to live responsibly and to use magic in a wise way to help others.

In fact, River was wondering if choosing the Diaz family was NOT by accident. They had looked up many kinds of families on Earth through magical screening, and had come across the Diaz name. Somehow, in some way that he could not quite explain even to this day, he and Moon believed to have found the right family to set Star up with.

The co-ruler of Mewni was starting to wonder if Fate and Destiny were guiding them when that crucial moment had come…

They had hopes for Star to improve… but instead she had slid downwards, using her newfound freedom to cause all kinds of mischief and mistakes. And the result was now what it was now. A young man that was almost broken completely now free from a curse that was intended to be a blessing, his daughter exposed for how far she had fallen & now trying to do damage control while also figuring out HOW to present the situation to the populace without causing mass chaos.

The muscled man sighed and spoke to himself, "I do hope for the best for my daughter, and also for Sir Marco as well. The lad… he truly has made an impact on not just us, but many surrounding areas as well. And we were not even aware of it…". He believed that Marco was a good man, but an Earth man that would not be able to rise up in the ranks of anything due to his non-magical background and upbringing.

And he was proven wrong big time.

A dimensional rift soon opened in front of the bed, River not bothered as the castle's magical defenses prevented unauthorized openings of any kind to manifest within the castle. Coming in was his beloved wife, and it seems that she was carrying three objects. Two were books that he did not recognize, both looking thick but not as thick as some of the tomes that were in the Royal Library Chamber. And another was a book, but its spine was exposed and made of a swirling metal of sort.

Queen Moon smiled at her husband and stated warmly, "Oh, good evening dear. I got a lot to tell you, but first let me freshen up and change into something more comfortable.". She set the three objects down on the bed, going into the bathroom to take a quick shower and change into her nightgown.

While she was doing that, River took the time to see the books. He went to the largest one, picking it up and noting that it felt a bit flimsy and the cover was not hard like the ones the family library had. It felt a bit heavy, but not so much as the old tomes. He gazed at the cover's title which showed the words: The Ultimate Guide To Starting Your Own Daycare Business by Jane Van Pelt. He was rather curious about it, especially wondering on what a daycare was.

He put it back down on the bed where Moon always slept at by his side, picking up the other that looked a bit thinner than the previous object. The cover showed the title: How to launch your own elementary school- Private and Public by . He did know what a school, but not an elementary one in which this book also gained his curiosity.

The other book that was a spiral notebook, a light blue one with the words in white at the right side of it Five Star with five solid stars underneath it. And on the far upper-right corner were words Mead, both the word & the other one having a small capital R at the end within a small circle. This made him scratch his head on what the little symbol stood for. And near the spiral notebook was a pen, something that River had missed seeing since it was small.

He did wonder what it was, his curiosity really reaching high levels. He picked up the clear BIC pen, wondering what the black liquid that was in it. He poked the tip, and was a bit surprised to see that on his finger was a smudge of black ink. He muttered softly, "My word. This is certainly something new to me. It reminds me of those feather pens that we write with, but so different.". He examined the object further before putting it down, and five minutes later, Moon emerged from the bathroom wearing her nightgown.

River was always amazed to see his wife coming out wearing her nightgown, which clung to her curves and highlighted her beauty in a special, amazing way that always got his attention. Moon was a beauty the first time he saw her long ago, and it was more than just her physical looks that he fell for her. Her heart, mind, spirit and soul were strong and alluring in many ways. And even to this day, seeing his beloved wife always got his blood pumping & only for her.

Moon sighed as she felt refreshed and revitalized, putting the objects she had put on the bed on a nightstand next to her before sliding in close to her husband. She turned to take the notebook, opening it up to show to River that it had white pages with blue lines running through it & a pink line running upwards on the left side that had three holes in specific places.

He inquired, "Dear, what are those things you have there?

The mature beauty smiled as she started to write down in her notebook and answered, "Well dear, Angie gave me some books that I believe will help the kingdom out in the long run. Something to get started on making Mewni on the road to some good progress. Also, thanks to her and a certain movie I watched just now, have a little side-project in mind.".

River was intrigued by this. He had heard from Moon on the movies she had watched with the Diaz family, and also heard from her the wonderful confections that Earth had. He dearly wanted to go to said realm to try what they had to offer, but for the moment he could not due to the situation with Star. One of them had to stay in the castle to keep an eye on her. Even with her changed attitude and demeanor, given what had been revealed to them lately, their trust in Star was almost non-existent.

Moon looked to her better half with a smile and asked, "Dear, how would you like to be the one to go to Earth next? I believe there are some wonderful things there that might get your attention, such as the food that is over there.". This had River's eyes widen with a hopeful smile on his face, the white-haired beauty giggling softly at seeing such a look on him. To her, it was so endearing and cute at the same time.

The Queen of Mewni told River of the Mexican pizza that she tasted while also writing down what had gained her attention in the notebook. She could multitask quite well in this area, writing down what was on her mind while speaking to her beloved King on another subject.

She was writing down ideas and possibilities concerning time travel. While the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III movie was a bit unusual and subpar in many areas compared to the previous two movies she had seen, it did have merit in the ways of imagination. She was familiar with time travel, going to Father Time's realm and seeing the past, present and future from there. But she had never actually gone back in time, which Father Time warned was very dangerous and could create paradoxes and alternate realities. And also, anything that tried to do so HAD to come through his realm first.

But now, she was wondering if there was a way to actually bypass that particular method, especially in a way that she believed Father Time could not anticipate. She had been fascinated by the Time Scepter from the movie, the mechanics of time travel like so different from the methods that had been used in the past in her home dimension. That the item would only work if the ones holding it were of the same weight, and also that it would be out of phase after sixty hours which meant the time travelers would be stuck in the future/past for good! Or until the scepter managed to become realigned with the travelers.

Moon was also going to write down about the experience she had with the Mexican pizza, which was truly a positive experience for her. Also, this did tie in with what Hekapoo had told her earlier concerning the food market there, as Earth had produce and other products that Mewni did not have… and what they did have that would mirror the ones Earth had was RARE as their had many kinds of medicinal properties & also enhanced potions and other mixtures dramatically in a way that had not been seen for a good long while.

In fact, she believed that any kingdom in Mewni and in the other realms would honestly go to war to have Angie cook for them! Or to have any of the items that were common in the Earth realm!

The planet had potential and possibilities like nothing else! But it had been ignored for so long due to being a 'backwards world with no magic'. But what she witnessed, if even brief, blew that statement out of the water. Earth was indeed a unique planet and world like nothing else… and she believed that there was more to it than meets the eye.

~Meanwhile~

While Moon and River were talking in their bedroom, Star was in hers as she was getting ready for bed. It was another tough day for the blonde princess, as she was drained mentally, physically and still emotionally. Her parents and teachers were pushing her hard to catch up in every aspect; going through Mewnian and Butterfly history, the protocols that concerned many aspects of royal customs including marriage and alliances, physical training with her parents & finally learning about a few of the many smaller kingdoms that surrounded their land.

While she did receive sympathy from the knights and squires, both official and in training, it did little to comfort her. She had seen that these particular ones were the ones that had given her former friend Marco such a hard time when he was here, so their actions and concern did not move her as much as it used to. In addition, the ones that mattered most to her were still giving her the cold shoulder. While civil to her, Star could feel the animosity from them.

The former wielder of the Magic Wand could only sigh as she looked into her mirror, seeing a haggard and worn-out face. But despite her appearance and feeling, she could see something else…

Inside her mind and heart, her various other emotions that had been set free after being contained/locked up for so long, were helping her to see the truth about many things & to see both clearly and in another way. Her conscience had been awakened, something that existed in all & went beyond mere emotions. And now, it was helping her to see something different.

Star saw in her reflection a tired and worn girl, but it soon melted away to show a beautiful and grown-up woman. Not the overly-go-happy and naïve girl that she was in the past, not the one that ignored almost anything else to focus on her own pleasures and playtime. But one that was almost identical to Princess Penelope, the current one.

The young woman was amazed to see such a reflection, mesmerized to see herself different. That she was beautiful, and her eyes showed confidence and strength. The reflection spoke in a clear and elegant/refined tone like one fit for royalty of a high caliber, "This is a mere possibility on what you could be in the future, Star Butterfly.".

This caused the young woman to gasp, wondering if someone had put an enchantment on her mirror. Reflection-Star smiled as if she knew her thoughts and stated, "You are thinking wisely Star. You were cautious to think that someone might have put a spell on the mirror, and that is good. To be cautious and use discernment like so. But no, there is no spell on the mirror.".

The real princess stammered in confusion, "I-I don't understand. Why is this…?".

Reflection-Star held up her hand to silence her counterpart, and spoke in a gentle but firm tone, "I am trying to help you. This vision you see is a possibility, but one that only you can make come true if you stick to the hard path that is before you.".

She continued on, "Every day, you saw an illusion. You saw yourself as positive and energetic, but you were running away from anything that seemed remotely close to being responsible and what you considered to be 'dull, stuffy and not fun'. Star… being a royal princess does come with responsibilities and duties. But it is for the people, the ones that rely and look to you for answers and strength when things look confusing and dark. And also it is meant to show how you handle yourself when under pressure.".

Reflection-Star then asked, "Do you not remember a quote that Marco told you years ago?".

The real Star thought on it for a moment, then remembered. Two years ago, she and Marco were with Hekapoo in her dimension as they were picking up an order for a customer of hers. The young Diaz lad was looking at some coal that was near a furnace, and also some diamonds that were on a nearby shelf. He went over and picked up a lump of coal, then looked at one of the diamonds that was about the same size of it.

Star and Hekapoo saw this, the two going over to him and asking what he found so fascinating about the coal. He looked to them and answered, "Just remembering what my Dad told me. Something he said he learned back at the church we used to go to. That people were lumps of coal, but often were put under great pressure, strain and heat. And if the coal endured… it would come out as a diamond. But if not, it would crumble and turn to dust.".

Star was perplexed by the comparison, but Hekapoo looked intrigued and interested.

Reflection-Star saw that her real-counterpart had remembered, but failed to see the connection. She decided to help her out by saying, "What he said refers to you Star, especially right here and now. You are now taking the hard path, but it is the better path to help forge you to become something much more than you are now. Someone that you were meant to be, just like how Penelope has become the princess she needs for her people. And if she continues to improve, she might be the woman that Marco needs.".

Just hearing those words made Star tremble, both in fear and also in anger. A tiny part of her was still possessive of the Earth lad, even though she did not know why.

The reflection spoke up one more time, "At peace Star. At peace. For now, you need to put Marco to the side. Not to forget him, but put him to the side to focus on what you are doing now. What you should have been doing for some time now.".

The image started to wobble and shift gradually, showing that the image was starting to fade. Reflection-Star finished her words, "The road is long, hard and full of various tests, trials and turbulence. But you need to be enduring, patient, courageous and strong in order to acquire what you need to become the royal woman that the and needs. And to be the woman that your future husband needs for the life-run. Stay the course Star… stay the course…".

The reflection soon vanished, replaced with the true visage that Star was seeing now. She touched the surface of the mirror, her eyes wide and looking for any kind of explanation. She said to herself, "Either I'm going crazy… or this was something that… that I needed…".

Feeling more exhausted, she went to her bed and flopped directly on the mattress, out instantly like a candle when blown out.

Meanwhile, the two small winged demons that Tom had sent on their little mission decided to contact their master. With stealth and quietness, they flew and landed on the vanity dresser. One of them raised their left hand, a finger soon raised to glow a soft purple color. It tapped the glass three times, and the mirror started to darken until it turned completely black. Then an image formed, and showed the new accommodations of their master. Tom's face soon appeared, showing that he was tired and NOT in a good mood.

He was about to shout at them until he realized where they were, and also seeing a knocked out Star on the bed. He schooled himself, composing his facial features. He then looked to the two minions and whispered, "Did you manage to complete the mission?".

One of the demons nodded his head, pointing to a small compact circular object that was white with red stars on it. It was one of the things that Star was allowed to have in her new quarters, which contained small jewelry that she liked to wear. The winged evil beast carefully opened it up, and pointed to two silver simple ring bands that looked identical. But… one of them flashed briefly to a light-orange flare, signifying that it was the engagement ring in disguise!

Tom smirked in a way that looked vile and nasty on his face, seeing that the mission was a success. He looked to his minions and whispered, "Excellent work. Now all I have to do is wait until she puts it on. You two, come back to where I am now.". The mirror soon flashed dark and was once again normal, the winged demons looking pleased that they had managed to complete their first assignment.

They flew off from the window, using their honing instincts to fly their way back to their master.

Things were going to get heated up in Mewni soon!

(Author's Note: And… cut! That is it for now! A little slow yes, but need to get my imagination and creative juices flowing again! Also, still need to re-read my own work to see where I go from here.

Before I say or do anything, I want to give praise and honor to the Lord. Thank you God for once again helping me in my works, and also with myself. I still have a long ways to go before becoming the man you meant for me to be, but I am on my way and doing my best for you! I will continue to seek guidance, wisdom, and also mercy and forgiveness from you when I do fall. And I will plead with you Jesus for your correction and discipline to so that I can learn and grow right! I ask you Jesus to please continue to aid me, forge me and refine me so that I am a better servant for you!

Now to explain some things to you all. For the Mexican pizza, I looked it up and found the recipe for it at a site called allrecipes & found something called jimmys-mexican-pizza. Look it up to see the ingredients for said pizza, and how it looks like as well.

As for the wrestling part, I actually took that from my own past. I do have the DVD's mentioned, and also when I was young I liked the WWF wrestling of the 1980s and 1990s. And also… heh, I was hooked onto women wrestling when I saw an AAA Mexican wrestling event long ago as a child, and saw the ladies wrestling. Ever since then, got hooked on it and still do. Though now more in line with women wrestling in games and shown on videos on YouTube.

So I thought I would give Raphael and Marco a bit of my own past, like so. I remember back when WWF Survivor Series came to San Antonio, I believe was back in 1995. I was so hoping to see it live, but family couldn't afford it. Instead, my Dad had a BIG family party to see the event at the house, with pizza and soda, and watching it on Pay-Per-View! It was awesome! And I will forever be grateful to my Dad for doing it for me… I miss him…

And also same with the crushes on fictional female characters, real and animated, though have grown up now. Also, the flashback at City Hall I got inspired after seeing the moment in Back to the Future Part III where Marty and Doc were looking through various books to find what they needed to find.

On another note, wanted to expand Moon's character a little, such as having her have a fascination with other means of travel or possibilities that she didn't know existed. Such as the properties of the Time Scepter, which to me does open up many kinds of possibilities of time travel which are different from other methods.

Also, concerning Star, I took many cue from my pastor Rick Godwin. It was he that taught everyone who heard him the parable on how a coal can either turn to dust, or become a diamond. And also, heard one of his latest sermons called No Easy Road really moved me & also gut-punched me in a way that was needed.

For a long time, took the easy road in almost everything… and it cost me a lot. I am getting back on my feet, but it's not easy at all. But it is the better path for the long run. Also, his sermon resonates what I have long believed in and it is this:

Easy doesn't always mean better or right

New doesn't always mean better or right

What is right may not always be popular, but what is popular is not always right

Old doesn't always mean it's useless, worthless or obsolete. Old can stand for being vintage, maturity, timelessness, Truth that has withstood the tests of time and man

And Star is at the beginning point now. She is seeing how hard and long the road is, but that is where the conscience comes in. You see, I have seen the movie Inside Out and while it was decent… didn't really connect with me like the Disney movies of old that I watched as a kid. And also, have not seen the sequel since Disney… well, has been going down in my opinion. And something occurred to me… what about the things that go beyond emotions? Why leave out the conscience, wisdom, intellect, knowledge, common sense and more? Why showcase only basic emotions and not those that go beyond them?

To me, that seems to try and convince viewers that people are just animals that follow emotions and such. That were are not sentient or higher up as we claim to be. And also this; while I admire seeing a strong heart, what good is it though without a strong mind, will and sense of right and wrong to back it up? The person could be easily manipulated and controlled like a pet would.

So that is the point of Star's little reflection there with her reflection, which was her conscience telling her that it was better to look like she was now, rather than still seeing her former self that was all smiles and sparkles… but completely unaware of what she was doing, and ignoring the consequences of her actions. Better to see Truth that can still be better, than a lie/illusion that is destructive inward and outward.

If you could take Eclipsa, Hekapoo, Higgs, Kelly, Jackie, Janna, Queen Moon, King River, Princess Penelope, Princess Lysimache and Prince Loukianos, along with the Diaz adults and little Mariposa, to a WWF or any other association wrestling match from the past, which would it be? (For me, I would have taken them all to see Summerslam in 1994!) And what do you think of their reactions in being at a wrestling event?

If you were with Hekapoo and Eclipsa as they read the books they got from the Library, what kind of extra info would you give to them? For Eclipsa concerning the geography of the planet, and for Hekapoo concerning what kind of government would be ideal for Mewni should Queen Moon and King River want to change the current ruling structure?

If you were with Eclipsa and Janna the City Hall and found the information concerning the Rissing Estate event, what would be going through your mind? And what would you say to Jenna about it?
