Reacting to Kingdom Evil Remake 2.
Chapter: The Third Episode.
Previously in the last chapter.
"And that, everyone, concludes the second episode of the viewing," Fire announced as he waved his hand twice to make the screen pause and brighten up the chandeliers.
Everyone let out tired sighs while leaning backwards in their seats, feeling mentally exhausted once again. The second episode was more emotional than the first one, but at least they got to see Sora's point of view after he suddenly vanished on Destiny Islands.
Fire told everyone to use the break time he's giving them once again to process what they had recently learned, stretch their legs and regain their composure. Only then will he start the third episode of the viewing after they do what he says.
(In the Present; In Fire's Domain)
In no time at all, everyone has process what they had learned from the second episode of the viewing, stretch their legs out and regain their composure before sitting back down in their seats. They are now ready to watch the third episode of the viewing. But before that, they had to briefly refill their food and drinks as they were running low.
"Are we ready to resume watching the viewing, everyone?" Fire asked curiously, despite already knowing the answer. He just wants to make sure everyone is certain as they were getting much closer to both the zombie encounter and Sora losing his innocence. They nodded in confirmation. "Very well, let the third episode begin."
Fire waved his hand twice to dim the lights of the chandeliers and unpausing the screen before going back to his original spot.
The third episode of the viewing began.
Sora has absolutely and cluelessly no idea where he was at all. He's in an unfamiliar land in a unfamiliar world he has no knowledge of, and he was on the verge of panicking because there wasn't a single person around to ask questions about where he is. He never liked the idea of having no one to talk to since it leaves a depressing feeling in his heart. It was this inspiration that made Sora gain as many friends as possible in different worlds so he could have someone to talk to if he decides to visit said worlds in the Gummi Ship.
"That is always Sora's dream goal, wanting to make as many friends as possible when visiting other worlds," Kairi stated with a nostalgic smile, despite the serious situation Sora is currently in. "It's such an ambitious admirable goal, and one he has long since achieve throughout his journeys."
Kairi's statements was met with smiles from everyone, but it didn't last long on their faces as they were more concerned at the fact Sora was on the verge of panicking because he's in a unfamiliar world he has no knowledge of.
But unfortunately, Sora was in an unfamiliar world with no friend in said world to talk to, leaving him not only completely alone but no idea what to do. He had never traveled solo to unfamiliar worlds before in the Realm of Light, even though he did travel solo to a few unfamiliar worlds in the Realm of Sleep for his Mark of Mastery exam. Like in the darkness he had been transported to moments ago, Sora needed to figure out where he was by himself.
"Sora, you can deal with figuring out where you are after you calm down from your near panic attack," Aerith scolded lightly, not caring she was talking to a television. Panic attacks are the worst thing in the world, especially if you get into a situation where you have no idea what to do.
However, Sora can't figure out where he was at the moment since he's still on the verge of panicking, which needed to be taken care of quickly before it's too late.
"Okay, calm down, Sora, calm down," Sora muttered, trying to ease the panic feeling inside him. "Having a panic attack in the middle of nowhere in a unfamiliar world won't solve anything but would make the situation worse. You shouldn't let panic overtake you after realizing there's nobody around to ask questions about where you are. Take a deep breath through the nose and let it out with the mouth."
"That advice is a good way to calm down from either the verge of panicking, a panic attack, stressful or angry," Ansem stated, remembering the times how he needed to take deep breaths to calm down whenever it's relating to stressful work or becoming angry with one of his apprentices.
"I should try that sometime in the future, considering my work always leaves me incredibly stressful," Cid mumbled under his breath, planning to take Sora's advice of taking a deep breath through the nose and let it out with the mouth once the viewing comes to an end.
Leon was planning to take Sora's advice as well once the viewing comes to an end since Yuffie always tries her best to get on his nerves. Judging by the mischief look in her eyes when he looked over in her direction, she seemed to be reading his thoughts, making him resist the urge to reach over and smack her right on the head.
Doing what he instructed by taking a deep breath through the nose and letting it out with the mouth, Sora felt a wave of calmness and peace overtake his body, along with his mind, which made it easier to take in the situation. Having a calm mind without panicking will make things easier to think during any type of situation, including dire or dangerous ones. It was how Aqua defeated the possessed Terra in Radiant Garden thirteen years ago after tracking him down, despite her wanting to become sad and cry at seeing her friend being possessed by Xehanort.
"It's true," Aqua confirmed, a sad look on her face just as everyone became relaxed of seeing Sora calmed down from his near panic attack. "Despite me being calm during my battle against Terra in Radiant Garden, I did wanted to become sad and cry at seeing him being possessed by Xehanort. It truly broke my heart."
There were a couple things Sora did after calming down and gaining a calm mind. The first thing he did was check to see if his body is in one whole piece instead of many pieces. When he got killed by the massive Demon Tide during the final battle in the Keyblade Graveyard, he got sent to the Final World where his body split into many pieces, forcing the spiky brunette to do a rather long search and collect game to reconstruct his body. He did not enjoy collecting pieces of his body at all since it was very weird collecting them.
The screen showed Sora's body split into many pieces in the Final World after being killed by the massive Demon Tide before switching over to him doing the long search and collect game to reconstruct himself.
"That…is the most weirdest thing I have ever seen in my whole life," Lea said blankly as he watched Sora collect pieces of himself in the Final World.
Everyone just merely nodded their heads, too dumbstruck from what they witnessed to even form words.
Fire couldn't help but chuckle amusingly at the expressions everyone was currently making on their faces, his wolf ears and tail twitching silently.
Thankfully, Sora's body is in one whole piece instead of being a ghost upon arriving in this unfamiliar world and he let out a huge sigh of relief. He was glad he thought about checking his body first after calming down from his near panic attack. If he had to do the search and collect game to reconstruct his body again…
The mere thought of Sora having to collect pieces of himself once again in the new world he's currently in made everyone shudder. They are extremely glad his body is in one whole piece instead of being a ghost.
Not wanting to even think about the search and collect game he had to endure in the Final World, Sora quickly moved on with the other things he wanted to check after calming down. The second thing he did was check to see if he could summon the Keyblade in his hand, even though Chirithy did say he'll lose his powers after using the Power of Waking. Since he did use the power, Sora was sure the Keyblade wouldn't appear in his held-out hand.
"Do you think Sora will still be able to wield the Keyblade, guys?" Ventus asked curiously, wondering if Sora retained his powers. "I mean, he did try to summon it when he was trapped in the darkness."
"He shouldn't be able to since he used the Power of Waking one last time, Ventus," Master Yen Sid stated, a frown forming on his face. He had been thinking hard about the Power of Waking during the break time, including the side effects. "Fire told us about the side effects in the last episode, and I believe, no matter how much it pains me to admit it, he is no longer a Keyblade wielder right after he vanished from Destiny Islands."
Everyone clearly didn't like the implications Master Yen Sid said, but as much as it pains them to admit it, they have to accept the fact Sora is no longer a Keyblade wielder. It left a hollow feeling in their hearts.
But Sora's great surprise and shock, however, the Keyblade he started out with in his very first journey – Kingdom Key, a classic skeleton key with a silver, medium-length cylinder blade with the teeth shaped like a crown, a blue rainguard, a golden square cross-guard, a black hilt and a sliver keychain with King Mickey's Disney Castle logo at the end of the keychain dangling off the cross-guard – appeared in his hand by a flash of light.
Everyone was deeply shocked at what they witnessed, especially Master Yen Sid. How could Sora still wield the Keyblade when he used the Power of Waking to bring Kairi back?
"If any normal Keyblade wielders abuses the Power of Waking, they would lose their powers for good," Fire explained, getting everyone's attention. "But since Sora is a very special person with incredibly worthiness and a strong determined heart, his Keyblade chose to stay with him instead of leaving him, all because he uses it for the greater good of the universe by not only keeping the worlds safe from any threat or harm, but also the balance between light and darkness."
Understanding looks appeared on everyone's faces once they processed Fire's explanation. It does make very sense why Sora was able to summon the Keyblade, much less still wield it, and they can't deny he is very special with incredibly worthiness and a strong determined heart.
'I can still summon my Keyblade?'Sora thought shockingly and surprisingly as he stared at Kingdom Key in his hand with wide eyes.'How? I thought Chirithy said I'll lose my Keyblade powers once I used the Power of Waking, which I did to bring Kairi back. So…why do I still have my Keyblade?'Sora began thinking a few scenarios in his head to figure out why the Keyblade stayed with him after vanishing it.'Is it because my heart is so strong with all the bonds I made during my three journeys the Keyblade decided to stay with me or is it because I'm on a Keyblade Master level like Riku and Aqua?'
"Oh, and the bonds Sora made is also part of the reason why his Keyblade stayed with him," Fire added another fact to his explanation of why Sora can still wield the Keyblade. "Not because he is on a Keyblade Master level like Riku and Aqua, despite what he believes in his mind."
'So, that's how Sora won the Keyblade during our confrontation in Hollow Bastion,' Riku thought, a guilty look appearing on his face as he remembers how he stole Sora's Keyblade from him with the power of darkness Maleficent granted him, only to lose it after listening to that speech about the heart in the grand hall.
Donald and Goofy also remembered Riku stealing the Keyblade in the Hollow Bastion and they shared equally guilty looks as they remembered how they abandoned Sora to carry out King Mickey's orders, only to rejoin him after realizing the error of their ways.
Sora believed it was his strong heart that made the Keyblade stayed with him instead of vanishing like Chirithy said after using the Power of Waking. It has to be the only explanation why the weapon stayed since being on a Keyblade Master level like Riku and Aqua doesn't seem an actual reason, despite it could be an added possibility with the strong heart.
Like what he thought before in the darkness, Sora had made many speeches about the heart, which the heart itself allowed him to escape the darkness when he couldn't summon his Keyblade. Thinking about the heart caused him to replay all the speeches he made during his three journeys.
"Now, I finally know what you mean about strength of heart. Mine comes from Donald and Goofy. If we stick together, we're unbeatable. Not even Hercules stands a chance. With these guys beside me, I'm ready for anything!"
"I know now I don't need the Keyblade. I've got a better weapon: My heart. Although my heart may be weak, it's not alone. It's grown with each new experience, and it's found a home with all the friends I've made. I've become a part of their heart just as they've become a part of mine. And if they think of me now and then…if they don't forget me…then our hearts will be one."
"The heart may be weak and sometimes…it may even give in. But I've learned that deep down, there's a light that never goes out!"
"Xemnas…there's more to a heart than just anger or hate. It's full of all kinds of feelings. Don't you remember?"
"Just stop it! You treat people's hearts like bottles on a shelf, but they're not! Hearts are made of the people we meet and how we feel about them. They're what ties us together even when we're apart! They're what…make me strong."
"A heart can live anywhere. Even inside data. There are hearts all around us."
"Distance doesn't matter. Andy's part of their hearts, just like my friends are part of mine. You can't rip that apart! There are hearts are all around us, trying to connect. Your 'loneliness' only made Woody's and Buzz's connection stronger. That'sthe heart's true nature: To never, ever let go. Wherever they are, Andy and the other toys haven't let go either."
Watching the speeches Sora made throughout his journeys caused everyone to gain happy smiles on their faces, some gaining tears in their eyes at how emotional they are. Even the stoic fighters were affected as well, no matter how hard they tried to suppressed it.
Suddenly, Aqua burst into heavy tears and began wailing loudly, much to everyone's very great surprise and bafflement, especially Terra and Ventus, who were giving her extremely concerned looks.
"I'm sorry, everyone!" Aqua wailed loudly, still sobbing heavily. "It's just I'm very proud of Sora after listening to those speeches he made throughout his journeys, yet very sad I didn't bequeath him years ago to become my successor like Terra did to Riku! Waaahhhh!"
"Want a Sora plushie doll, Aqua?" Fire asked, using his powers to conjure a very adorable plushie doll that looks exactly like Sora during his third journey in his hands before holding it out to Aqua, whose crying and wailing immediately ceased the moment she laid eyes on it. She took it without hesitation and held it close to her chest, caressing it lovingly like a small puppy with one hand.
Everyone, even Master Yen Sid, felt a sweat drop at the back of their heads as they watched Aqua's actions, though some people, namely Donald, Yuffie, Cid and Lea, were snickering how she was petting the plushie doll, imagining Sora was actually there in its place. It would no doubt be the funniest thing in the world.
Kairi was pouting in jealously at the actions Aqua was currently doing. She wanted a Sora plushie doll, too!
'Yeah…I was right about my theory,'Sora thought, feeling a smile appearing on his face, the first one ever, from thinking about all the speeches he made.'The only reason why the Keyblade didn't vanish after I used the Power of Waking was because all the bonds I made during my three journeys. My heart and I grew strong with all these bonds and in turn, this made the Keyblade stay with me.'The smile on Sora's face grew bigger as he stared at his right hand where he first got the Keyblade three years ago.'I am so glad I still retained my powers.'
Still having the smile on his face, Sora moved on with the other things he wanted to check. The third thing he did was check to see if he still had the Gummiphone with him in his pocket, which was thankfully there upon placing a hand inside, much to his relief. However, he didn't take it out because of the heavy rain, and he was planning to head towards the small gas station for shelter once the spiky brunette gets done with the other things he wanted to check.
The Gummiphone is a recently built device created by Chip and Dale, engineers and mechanics of the Gummi Block technology. It is made of Gummi Blocks and its appearance is very much like any smartphone, a black screen, a red and black square case with a silver button on the right side, another silver button with a black logo of Disney Castle below the screen, four golden circles in the front – two on top and two on bottom – and a golden crown accessory.
The screen showed what the Gummiphone looks like and those who haven't seen it before were greatly intrigued by its appearance. The others who do know about it are mentally smacking themselves on the head hardly for not bothering to call Sora before they got transported to Fire's domain. They will have to do that once the viewing is over.
The purpose of the Gummiphone was to have the Guardians of Light stay in contact with each other if they are across various worlds or doing separate tasks to thwart Organization XIII. That way, they can give each other their own updates about what they had learned. The Gummiphone was probably Chip's and Dale's most brilliant invention and incredible device in the universe.
Sora had been using the Gummiphone the whole time during his third journey after learning its existence when he received his new garments from Master Yen Sid. Although he didn't understand how the device works at first, given he's not extremely good at any sort of technology. He almost broke the real Ansem's computer when it didn't tell him, Donald and Goofy much information about Nobodies or the previous Organization XIII. But after a few coaching tips from Jiminy the Cricket, who had learned about the creation of the Gummiphone, Sora was able to understand and use the device with relatively ease.
"Wait, you almost destroyed Master Ansem's computer?!" Ienzo shouted, standing upwards from his seat and glaring at Donald and Goofy with such intensity it made them flinch. "Have you lost your minds?!"
Leon also glared at Donald and Goofy but less intensity. At the same time, he was cursing himself mentally for leaving Sora in charge of Ansem's computer upon learning he doesn't know anything about technology, nor even extremely good at it. He should've stayed instead of venturing out into town.
"The computer wasn't telling us anything important we want to know!" Donald yelled quickly and defensively, hoping to defuse Ienzo's anger. "The data was corrupted! And besides, it was Sora doing the smashing, not me and Goofy!"
"That still doesn't change the fact you two didn't bother to do anything to stop him!"
"Enough!" Ansem yelled sternly, quickly stepping in before a fight can ensure. "Young Ienzo, it's perfectly okay and no need to be extremely angry at our friends. The computer wasn't damaged at all."
"Sorry, Master Ansem," Ienzo said, bowing forward to atone his behavior before sitting back down in his seat.
The fourth and final thing Sora did upon moving on was checked to see if he still had his silver crown necklace around his neck, which was thankfully there like the Gummiphone in his pocket, much to his extreme great relief. The necklace had been a birthday gift from his mother, and he always wears it everywhere he goes, except in the showers or in bed. If Sora had lost his trademark crown necklace his mother given to him after vanishing from Destiny Islands, then he would've become extremely depressed.
Now that Sora has finished checking out all the important things he did after calming down from his near panic attack, it's time to head towards the small gas station for shelter against the heavy rain, which is now starting to make him not only feel extremely cold and wet but let out loud sneezes from a running nose. He was starting to regret checking out all the important things he did in the open field where it's raining heavily instead of underneath a roof.
Everyone couldn't help but shake their heads. While they can understand Sora's actions to ensure he has all of his important items with him, he should've done it at the gas station earlier after spotting it instead of the open field.
Yeah, Sora should've headed towards the small gas station right after calming down from his near panic attack when he realized he was completely alone in a unfamiliar world he still has no knowledge of. If he did, then he wouldn't be this cold and wet while letting out loud sneezes from a running nose to begin with; he would've been still wet, but not cold and have a running nose.
"Sora, just get the hell out of the open field already and stop thinking about it!" Lea exclaimed with highly annoyance, earning himself startled or disapprovingly looks.
And so, after giving himself a slight bonk in the head for making such a stupid decision, Sora began running towards the small gas station he spotted the moment he arrived in the unfamiliar world, intending to get out of the heavy rain, dry himself off with the Keyblade and using the Gummiphone to see if he could contact his friends. Sora wonders how they were doing now. Were they trying to figure out where he is or are they still taking his sudden disappearance hard like Kairi?
"You guys are still taking Sora's sudden disappearance on Destiny Islands hard like Kairi," Fire explained after seeing the curious looks everyone was aiming at him. "I never even transport you here to my domain, including the newcomers, where you would react to the world he's in. It will be a while until you pull yourselves together to start searching for him."
Either way, Sora hopes his friends are okay.
As he continued running towards the small gas station in the heavy rain, doing his best to push away the coldness, Sora's mind began to wander about the recent developments that had just happened after vanishing from Destiny Islands. Why didn't Chirithy told him he would get transported in the darkness first before appearing in another world after using the Power of Waking? Did he neglect to mention that fact or had no idea what would happen? Sora believed it was the former since the plushy cat doll, along with the younger version of Xehanort, did knew much about the Power of Waking than him, only that it is used to wake up people's sleeping hearts.
Everyone, except Mickey and Master Yen Sid, bore scowls on their faces upon hearing the true purpose of the Power of Waking.
Still, though, the question remains in Sora's mind: Why didn't Chirithy told him he would get transported to the darkness first before appearing in another world after using the Power of Waking?
Terra, Ventus and Aqua shared glances at each other and nodded firmly. They are still intending to confront Chirithy for answers when they get back from watching the viewing and they are going to ensure he answers honestly unless he's interested of facing their wrath.
But more importantly, why did Sora get sent to this particular world?
That's a question everyone else is wondering as well as there's has to be a very good reason why Sora was transported to the world he's currently in.
Because Sora was deep into his thoughts about the recent developments that had happened after vanishing from Destiny Islands, as well as Chirithy not telling him about getting transported to the darkness first before appearing in another world while wondering why he got sent to this said world, he did not notice he had already arrived at the small gas station. It only took the lack of raindrops hitting him to finally be aware where he was, making the spiky brunette blink his eyes a few times. When did he already arrived without realizing?
"I guess I pulled a sudden Captain Jack Sparrow arrival," Sora mused, chuckling at his joke as he remembers the pirate captain in the Caribbean world suddenly appearing on the Leviathan he, Donald and Goofy found in a huge cave on an island.
"That was a terrible joke," Roxas said blankly while his body cringed at the horrible joke. Everyone else cringed as well, especially Riku and Kairi.
"Jokes were never Sora's strong suit," Riku explained with a sigh as he shook his head. "He can be teasing and cheeky but can never tell a good joke."
Pushing the joke aside, Sora summoned his Keyblade in his hand and raised it in the air to cast a drying spell, followed by a heating spell, on himself, which made his wet clothes and hair become dry at first before becoming extremely warm that made the coldness he felt a few moments ago vanished. Thanks to Donald's and Merlin the Wizard's teachings, Sora was able to become extremely proficient at casting powerful magic, including ones that require years of studying and practicing. He is like the ultimate prodigy who can adapt to anything or situation with ease.
Everyone felt huge waves of deep pride for Sora after hearing he was an ultimate prodigy, which is something he really was, along with being a very worthy Keyblade wielder, who can adapt to anything or situation with ease, especially how he was extremely proficient of casting powerful magic, including ones that require years of studying and practicing.
Though, Sora did almost panic when he got transported to the world he's in after escaping the darkness. It was something that is quite natural when visiting a new world, so everyone can't exactly blame him for that. They would almost panic if they were in his shoes.
Although Donald, while proud of Sora for becoming an ultimate prodigy, was quite miffed at how he could easily surpass him in the magical terms. He still thinks he was the ultimate magician in the world.
Once dried and warm, Sora vanished his Keyblade, took out his Gummiphone from his pocket, turned it on and began calling one of his friends to tell them he was alright, only for the call to end in failure. This made him frown while becoming a bit worried at the same time since the device had never done that before during his third journey. But there's still an important question: Why did the call ended in failure when it never happened before?
Seeing the Gummiphone failing to make the call made those who knew about it blink confusingly. It had never done that at all during the third journey.
Seeing he couldn't contact one friend, Sora decided to contact another friend, only for the same thing to happened with first one. Now starting to become more worried from seeing two calls ended in failure, he tried calling every friend on the list of contacts in the Gummiphone, but every attempt ended in failure, which is making him more worried than before but extremely angry. Why is the stupid phone not working at all?! It wasn't until one more failure that Sora gave up on trying to contact his friends.
"Why is the Gummiphone not working?" Kairi asked, tilting her head to the side.
"I don't know, Kairi, I've never seen it happen before," Ienzo replied, trying to figure out why the Gummiphone won't make any calls. "But I am planning to ask Chip and Dale why as they are the ones who invented it and the most experts when we get done watching the viewing."
'Great, I can't contact the Guardians of Light with the Gummiphone,'Sora thought sadly, sighing heavily as he turned off the Gummiphone and put it away in his pocket before taking deep breaths to calm his extreme anger down.'I don't understand why it's doing that since it never happened before. Does it need a stronger connection, or does it need to be recharged? Ugh, I don't know! I don't even know anything about technology!'Sora sighed heavily again as he leaned against a gas pump before sliding downwards to sit on the ground, hands holding his head.'This is such a bad start. Not only do I have no idea where I am or what this world is, but I can't contact my friends. I just wish there is someone I can talk to and ask questions about where I am.'
Everyone felt waves of sadness and sorrow for Sora for having such a terrible bad start in the world he's in, something that has never happened before. He doesn't know where he is, no one to talk to and can't contact them to let them know he's alright.
As if the sky was answering Sora's wishes, the sound of a roaring engine like a motorcycle or a truck filled the air, making him raised his head upwards to see where it's coming from. It was apparently coming from the empty street and moving towards the gas station where he's currently taking shelter against the heavy rain. This made Sora extremely happy because he's about to meet someone who could tell him where he is, and he quickly stood up from his spot to get ready to greet the person.
"Wow, talk about lady luck smiling upon Sora," Lea stated with surprised in his voice.
"At least he'll have not only someone to talk to but also learn where he is," Xion said, smiling how the tides were changing for Sora in a very good way.
Soon, the roaring engine sound got closer to the gas station and Sora witness a motorcycle with a rider on top, completely soak to the bone, apart from the head that is currently covered by a white helmet, entering the driveway before parking underneath the gas pump roof. From there, the rider turned off the motorcycle's engine and reached upwards to pull off the white helmet with both hands, making Sora's breath be taken away upon seeing the rider's face.
Kairi felt a tug in her heart upon seeing Sora's breath be taken away and came to the conclusion the motorcycle rider is a woman. It was the only reason why he would act the way he is now…and it made her feel angry and sad.
It also didn't help Kairi had a feeling Sora would have a crush on the female motorcycle rider who might have one on him as well in the future, which made her feel even more angry and sad as she will be forced to bear of hearing their thoughts about each other throughout the entire viewing. She may not like it a lot, but she has no choice in the matter.
The rider on the motorcycle revealed to be a very pretty petite-built young woman who looked to be a couple years older than Sora, probably one or two. She had long, brown hair with two bangs framing her face and a loose ponytail in the back, fair skin, red lipstick on her lips and blue eyes. She was also taller than Sora by two inches, something that made him lose his breath-taking state and internally wailed in despair. What is with everyone, namely girls, being taller than him? He didn't like it and he didn't like being short.
The young woman's attire consisted of a sleeveless, button-up reddish-pink vest with a brown knife sheath on her left shoulder, which held a knife, a black sleeveless shirt underneath, short reddish-pink shorts with longer black shorts underneath, a brown belt, a brown pouch in the back with the strap looped sideways around in a circle and leather, knee-high dark brown boots. She also had a black gun strap wrapped around her right leg, which held her gun, and a metal feather with a light blue gem necklace around her neck.
"Wow, she's hot as hell," Lea said, letting out an appreciated whistle as his eyes roamed over the young woman's body, especially her long smooth legs.
"Lea!" All of Lea's friends exclaimed, giving him disgusted looks.
"What? I'm just expressing an opinion of mine!"
The young woman placed the white helmet in her hands on the motorcycle and looked around at the gas station, her blue eyes landing on Sora, who was still having an inner turmoil about being short. She looked greatly surprised to see a lonely slightly younger teenager out in an open field so late at night. She wondered where he came from and who he is.
"Who are you?" The young woman asked curiously, discreetly moving her hands towards the gun strap where her gun is. While the younger teenager doesn't seem dangerous but totally innocent, it's better to be prepared just in case.
"Don't worry, everyone, she won't shoot Sora," Fire reassured calmly as everyone began to panic upon seeing the young woman reaching towards her gun, fearing she would shoot Sora. "She's just being cautious."
"Huh?" Sora snapped out of his inner turmoil after hearing the young woman's voice. It was beautiful and sounded like an angel. "What did you say?"
"I asked who you are. What's your name?"
"I…" Sora trailed off, not sure what to say. What can he even say when he's at a loss for words? He was meeting one of the prettiest girls he has ever seen that is making his heart beat faster with a blush appearing on his features. Sora wasn't sure how to describe this feeling inside him, but he is assuming it's shyness from meeting someone new, which is quite odd since he never had a problem when meeting new people.
Lea wanted to point out teasingly that Sora has a crush on the young woman, but the warning looks he received from a couple of his friends who seemed to known what he was thinking about gave him other ideas.
So, after taking a deep breath to calm his sudden nerves, Sora let a large wide grin filled with brightness appeared on his face as he introduced himself to the young woman. "My name is Sora. What's your name?"
Seeing the large wide grin on Sora's made the young woman smile as well, proving he was not dangerous at all, which convinced her to move her hand away from the gun strap. She didn't know why she was smiling, but it's probably because the grin filled with brightness looked so damn cute on the boy's face, which made her own heart beating faster with a blush appearing on her face.
'I called it,' Kairi thought, resisting the urge to shred tears of sadness. The young woman is starting to have a crush on Sora. It does hurt her that she won't be with him for the rest of her life, but at least he will be with someone who'll take good care of him and ensure he doesn't get into trouble. He's going to need it, considering things are going to get worse later on in the viewing like Fire said.
Despite what many people in this room believes…Kairi doesn't really see Sora in a romantic way. She only sees him as an older brother who is very protective of her and wants to ensure she is completely safe from harm. She never had any siblings when growing up in Radiant Garden with her grandmother but after she arrived on Destiny Islands and met Sora and Riku, they became her older brothers in all but blood.
When the young woman realized she was blushing, she shook her head a bit desperately in an attempt to get rid of it. For some strange reason, she did not want Sora to see the blush on her face. If he did, then he would ask a question that'll make her feel embarrassed. Once the young woman's face was back to its normal color, she then went to answer Sora's question about her name.
"My name is Claire, Sora, Claire Redfield."
"And that, everyone, concludes the third episode of the viewing," Fire announced, activating the lights of the chandeliers and turning off the screen instead of pausing it.
For once, no one was feeling mental exhaustion whatsoever. They are currently trying to process the fact Claire is starting to have a crush on Sora and the only person who does have one on him is Kairi. Yet, she doesn't really seem angry about it, more like she's…approving it.
"Guys, it's fine," Kairi said, giving everyone a small reassured smile after noticing the looks on their faces. "I don't mind if Sora and Claire get together in the viewing. I don't really see him in a romantic way, despite what you all believe. I only see him as an older brother who is very protective of me and wants to ensure I am completely safe from harm like Riku."
"Are you sure you're completely alright with this decision, Kairi?" Riku asked carefully, knowing full well how much Sora means to Kairi.
"Yes, Riku, I am completely alright with this, even though it did hurt me at first. Besides, I know Claire will take good care of him throughout the entire viewing and ensure he doesn't get into trouble."
Hearing the mature reasoning Kairi gave out made everyone smiled. They are really glad she had accepted Sora and Claire getting together as they don't think they can handle her being very jealous, very sad and very angry throughout the viewing. It might make them immensely annoyed.
"Alright, everyone, I think that's enough watching the viewing for today," Fire announced, clapping his hands once to get everyone's attention. "I would like for us to turn in and get some sleep; we'll watch more episodes tomorrow. The doors in the back will lead into a massive bedroom and there will be enough beds for all of you. There's even silencing curtains to block off any sound. The right one is the men's, and the left one is the woman's. Now, off to bed please, you will need your mental strength tomorrow as we're getting much closer to the horrors."
Upon hearing getting much closer to the horrors, everyone nodded seriously before heading to massive bedrooms to turn in for the day. They are going to need their mental strength by tomorrow in order to handle it like they had vowed earlier for Sora's sake.
And done! That's the ending of the chapter! Everyone has watched the third episode of Kingdom Evil Remake 2 and offically met Claire Redfield. Also, Kairi has approve of letting her and Sora get together as a couple.
Next chapter will be everyone watching the fourth episode. They're getting much closer to the zombie encounter and Sora losing his innocence.
