Thank you all or reading and staying with me. These last few weeks have been pretty rough and the next few seem like they will be too. I am trying to write to keep my mind off what is happening in my life but sometimes it is hard to turn off what is going on.
I hope you all are still with me. If not I understand.
So without further ado here is my next chapter. I hope you all like it. Thank you all for taking the time to read my story. It means the world to me.
Chapter 37 Part 8 It All Comes To A Head
Picking up from the arrest of the women at the houses with the children.
The EMT's arrive just as the agents are walking out with their prisoner. They check out Sheila Langston's hand and tell Captain Trevelyan that her hand is broken.
Ms. Langston yells at Ana and demands that she be held responsible for her care.
Ana tells them that her agents will take her to the hospital because she is under arrest.
They leave with her and go to the hospital and when she is placed on a bed her other hand is handcuffed to the bed rail.
The doctor comes in.
"Hello I am Dr. Goldstone and what do we have here?" He ask the nurse that is in the room with her.
"She has a broken hand Dr. Goldstone and possibly a few broken fingers sir." Matt Hailey tells him.
"My goodness young lady how did this happen?" He asked her.
She doesn't say anything.
"Ma'am what is your name I have never seen you here before? Are you related to the patient? Can you tell me what happened?" He asked the woman standing by the door.
"Dr. Goldstone I am Agent Robin Crankston of the FBI sir and Ms. Sheila Langston is my prisoner sir. She had a gun and tried to shoot my Captain. My Captain was quick and kicked the gun out of her hand.I cannot go into any further detail with you sir. Just know that she will be handcuffed at all times and I will be with her sir." Agent Crankston tells him.
"Very well thank you for informing me Agent Crankston. No one mentioned a prisoner being here." He tells her.
"Yes sir we know and we are trying to keep it under wraps. We do not need this getting out." She informs him.
"Yes ma'am we will keep it quite." He tells her walking over to Ms. Langston who is lying on the bed handcuffed.
He looks at her hand and he tells the nurse that is with him to call x-ray up here to get pictures of her hand.
"I want sides, top and bottom of her hand and each finger." He tells his nurse.
"Yes sir right away." She tells him.
She walks out the door and stops at the nurses station and makes a call.
"Hello this Nurse Craig I need for you to bring the portable x-ray machine up to the emergency department room 3. Dr. Goldstone wants sides, top, bottom and fingers filmed." She tells him.
"Yes ma'am will be on our way." He tells her.
There is a knock at the door.
"Come in." Dr. Goldstone says.
The x-ray technician walks in pulling the portable x-ray machine and another technician pushes it through the door.
"Hello Dr. Goldstone Nurse Craig called and said you needed x-rays of the patient's hand sir." He tells him.
"Yes please. The top, bottom, sides and fingers Tom. Please have Dr. Barron read it as soon as possible, thank you." He tells him.
While Tom is trying to take x-rays of Ms. Langston's hand she is screaming and hollering that it hurts and she can't lay her hand like he asked her to do.
"Ms. Langston if you will just put your hand to the side a little more to the right I will be done. I know you are hurting but I need to get this finished so our radiologist can read the results and report back to Dr. Goldstone." He tells her. The man is about at his wits end with her.
"Alright now where do you want my hand and hurry up damn I need drugs." She yells at him.
"I will be as quick as I can but I can't give you anything for pain. That will be up to your doctor." He tells her.
Ten minutes later they rush out of the room. Thankful that it is over.
"We have finished Dr. Goldstone and I will have Dr. Barron call you with the results. Sir she is a wild one I tell you. I am sorry to say that but she was yelling and screaming at me for drugs and tried to bite Bill." He tells the good doctor.
"Thank you Tom and I am sorry Bill. Now did she hurt you?" He asked him.
"No sir but it wasn't from her trying to though. I stayed away from her and the agent that was with her told her she would tape her mouth shut if she tried that again. That agent scared me sir." He tells him as he is walking away.
"Well your job is done and thank you both. Yes sir Agent Crankston means business. She has already put my patient in her place one time." He tells them.
"Oh my please hurry so we can send her on out of here." He tells him.
Thirty minutes later she is still bitching and screaming for drugs.
"Agent, do you have another agent with you ma'am?" He asks her.
"Yes sir, he is waiting outside the room." She tells him.
"Very well I just don't want you to have to handle her all by yourself." He tells her looking back at his patient.
"Oh no sir we never work alone. He is outside because he is guarding the door." She replies.
"Alright I will tell him that you will be out in a moment." He tells her walking to the door.
"Thank you sir and are there any specific instructions?" She asked him.
"She needs to keep the sling on and her hand inside it. She can't get the cast wet. I am sure the doctors at the prison will remove the cast in six weeks. Any problems and she needs to be seen again just have them call me and I will see her at my office. That is if the infirmary can not help her. You know if a fight breaks out she could hurt it worse." He tells her that part in a whisper.
"Yes sir and thank you." She tells him.
"I will have Nurse Craig bring in her discharge papers soon." He tells her.
"Ms. Langston take care of your hand and please use your sling to keep your hand elevated. That will prevent it from throbbing and swelling." He tells her.
She only nods her head.
Dr. Goldstone shakes his head and walks out of the room.
A few minutes later Nurse Craig walks in with her discharge papers.
"Ms. Langston I am sure the doctor went over your discharge and I will also explain it to you. You need to keep your hand elevated and wear your sling. You can take it off at night. He says you can take ibuprofen for pain. He gave you pain medicine when he set your hand and casted it. He cannot give you anything else. I am sure the infirmary will take will care of you Ms. Langston. Please sign here thank you ma'am and I hope you will be feeling better soon. You can leave now." She tells her.
Agent Crakston follows the nurse out the door and Agent Adams is waiting on them.
"Where are you parked, Adams?" She asked him.
"I have the car at the emergency entrance ma'am." He tells her.
"Good, very good let us be on our way." She tells him holding tight to the prisoner's good arm.
"Don't need you trying to run now do we?" She says.
"I ain't gonna run but you all will rue the day you arrested me. I know people in high places and your Captain will rue the day along with your FBI team." She just realized she had said the wrong thing.
"Well, well, well thank you for that information I am sure my Captain and the Homeland Security will be glad you spoke up. Now get in the car." She tells her.
"You can't use that in court." She tells her.
"Oh yes we can as you heard your rights read to you. Anything you say can and will be held against you in a court of law. Remember those words?" She tells her.
She puts Ms. Langston's seat belt on her and then her own.
"Agent Adams to Headquarters and step on it." She tells him.
"Yes ma'am." He says and steps on the gas.
They arrive at Headquarters and walk in the door.
"This way Langston we need you processed and your picture taken." Agent Crankston tells her.
Now Langston is not so big and bad. She is acting scared all of a sudden.
"Come along Langston the quicker we get this done the quicker you can go and rest." She tells her pulling her down the hall.
They walk down the hall to a door and knock.
"Agent Crankston and Adams FBI we have prisoner Sheila Langston here and need her processed. Please be careful with her hand; it is broken and in a cast." She tells the guard.
"Oh my what in the world happened to you sugar?" She asked her.
"None of your damn business." She looks at the guard with a snarl on her lips.
"Now listen here and listen good young lady. We can do this nicely or we can do this the hard way. You will be treated the way you treat us, understand missy?" She gets in her face.
"Yes…yes ma'am." She says leaning away from her.
"Agent Crankston what happened to her?" She asked.
"Captain Trevelyan broke her hand when she kicked the gun out of her hand before she could shoot our Captain." She says looking at the prisoner.
"Oh my honey you messed with the wrong woman not to mention she is the revered Captain Trevelyan. I do not want to be in your shoes when she interrogates you. No, no I surely don't." She tells her taking her arm and walking in the door.
"We will take it from her Agents. Tell your Captain she will be in her cell whenever she is ready to question her." She tells them.
"Thank you Carolyn. We will tell her." They say as they walk off waving to the prisoner.
"Come on Adams, we are needed at the port." She tells him.
They jump in the car and arrive at the back of the port in a few minutes.
"Captain this is Crankston do you copy?" She says through her earpiece.
"Loud and clear Crankston. How did it go with the prisoner? Any problems?" Captain Trevelyan asked her.
"Well she just wanted to be a bitch at the hospital and whining for drugs. Then we got some information for you that she let slip. She didn't say who but they are in high places. You can get all the information when you interrogate her later. Carolyn said she will be in her cell waiting for you." She tells her.
Captain Trevelyan just laughs. "Oh wow damn I hate I missed that. Now enough talking the ship will be docking in a few minutes." She tells her.
"Everyone in place and ready to take the scum down? Don't forget the agent and his code words. "The stars are bright". She tells them.
"10-4 Captain we got it." They all say.
"Let's rock and roll, locked and loaded. Let's try to take them down without a lot of blood shed or dying." She tells them.
"Captain I hope everything went alright with the arrest of the ladies and saving the children." Deputy Agent Prince asked her as he walked up beside her.
"Well the arrest with Hudson went fairly well. She did have a gun but there was no accident, no one was hurt. That was the report I received from Agent Donovan sir. The children are safe and at the hospital as we speak sir getting checked over.
"I am glad no one was injured. How are the children doing health wise?" He asked her.
"They are all dehydrated and have lost some weight. They were only given just enough to keep them alive and no was hurt in any way sir." She tells him
"They should rot in prison and if I have my way those women will." He tells her in a very deep angry voice shaking his head.
"My team and I went to the house Langston was in with the children. She denied everything the same as Hudson did sir. She pulled a gun on us and I kicked it out of her hand. Her hand is broken and was seen at the hospital. The EMTs arrived just as they were walking out the door with her. I wanted her in jail but I let them check her and they said from just looking at her hand they knew it was broken. Hell sir we all knew it was. I told them my agents would take her to the hospital they were needed here at the house."She tells him.
"Yes I would have wanted the same thing too. Now why were the EMT's there? Wasn't they supposed to meet your agents at the back with the buses?" He asked her.
"Yes sir but we have good news. My team found Agent Cameron Johnasson sir." She waits for him to say something.
"Oh my lord, where was he? They have been searching for him for weeks." He asked her.
"He was in a room upstairs in the house Langston was staying in with the children sir. He is also dehydrated and lost a good bit of weight and they starved him. He had to drink water out of the bathroom sink in his hands sir. He is in the hospital being treated. He isn't hurt in any way. Just needs food, liquids and plenty of rest sir." She tells him.
"That is good to hear. I will have to stop and talk to him. I know the Director will be glad about his agent being alive and well as well as can be right now." He tells her.
"Yes I know he will be, we are very glad he is alive." She tells him.
"Captain the ship is docking in five, four, three, two, one now ma'am. We are all in position and awaiting your and Deputy Agent Prince's instructions." Agent Morris tells them.
"Captain Trevelyan this is your show, your call." He tells her.
She just looks at him.
"Agent Morris, everyone in place. Snipers in place. Wait till they throw their lines to tie down the ship. We know they have to have eight men on the dock to catch the lines to tie them down. Take the men out as they tie the lines." She tells them.
"10-4 Captain. Alright you all heard the Captain. Get into position men and let's knock some scum out." Morris says.
"In position sir." They say.
"Alright men, they have jumped down, let's be quick and take them. On my mark now let's go." He tells them.
Captain Trevelyan and Deputy Agent Prince watch from the side as their men render them unconscious.
"Good work team. Now as each one comes down on the dock and moves to the side, take them away. We do not want them to speak and give us away." She says.
"10-4 Captain." He says.
"I don't know how many will be getting off the ship but each and everyone of you keep your eyes on that ship. The Captain will come off in uniform. That is the way they travel letting their underlings know who is above them." She says.
"We want him alive and the men on the ship if possible. Always remember to protect your six and each other." Deputy Agent Prince tells them.
"Yes Captain and Deputy Agent." They all say.
"Captain, I didn't mean to interfere with your orders, forgive me." He says.
"Deputy, that is fine no harm done. I would have said the same thing. Wouldn't I team?" She asked them.
They all say yes Captain.
"I say that at every mission sir." She tells him.
"Alright agents here comes some more, let's be ready. They have 125 men on that ship, some women and our agent. Do we have a count of the ones off the ship agents?" He asks them.
"Yes Agent Morris, our total is sixty seven. Man, they are in a hurry to leave that ship." Baker tells him.
"Agents, we have a lot more to go." He tells them.
"Agent Morris when you see the Captain I will take over." She tells him.
"Yes Captain." He replies.
As the men walk off the ship they are waylaid by the agents and taken away and handcuffed.
Now they have more than half the men off the ship in the warehouse handcuffed and gagged so they can't make any noise.
"Captain, their Captain is walking off the ship and almost on the dock. He is looking around I assume for his men." He tells her.
"SWAT are you guys in place with my teams?" She asks the leader.
"10-4 Captain waiting on you ma'am we have you all covered." He tells her.
Captain Anastasia Trevelyan walks out of her hiding spot and stops.
"Captain Jamarcus Briggs I am Captain Anastasia Trevelyan of the FBI and this is Deputy Agent Price of Homeland Security. You and your men are under arrest for abetting well known Sex trafficker Queen Slovenia Padres." She tells him.
There is a lot of running and yelling.
"You all are under arrest and you are surrounded. There is no escape. We have orders to bring you in alive or dead. I would prefer alive. What will it be? If you will look around you will see that you have guns pointed at you from every angle on the docks, in the water, on the roofs and in the air." She tells them.
They all look around and lay their weapons down and raise their hands above their heads. All but the Captain.
"Captain Briggs there is no one to save you. We have your Queen Slovenia Padres in jail and more than half your men locked up." She tells him.
"Please don't try to be brave and go down with your ship so to speak sir. You will not live to tell about it." She says in a menacing voice that can be heard everywhere.
"Captain JaMarcus Briggs and crew you are all under arrest for abetting Sex Trafficker Slovenia Padres in kidnapping young children."
"Each one of you will be read your rights again as you are processed at Headquarters."
"You have the right to remain silent.
Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.
You have the right to have an attorney.
If you cannot afford an attorney one will be appointed for you.
Do you understand the rights I have just read to you?
With these rights in mind do you wish to talk to me?"
She waits but no one says anything.
"Very well sir and men. My men will take you to Headquarters to be processed. Captain, where are the ladies and cooks on your ship at?" She asks him.
He looks at her but doesn't say anything.
All of a sudden…
"The stars are bright." Agent Harley Dennison walks down.
"Arrest this man Morris." She tells him so they don't blow his cover.
He holds his hands up.
Morris puts handcuffs on him and leads him away.
"Agent Dennison so good to see you sir. Now where are the women and cooks on the ship?" He asks him.
"There are twelve ladies of the evening and six cooks. They are all down in the hole. I could not get the door open. The Captain has the key." He tells him.
"Captain, did you copy that?" Morris asks her.
"10-4 Morris and thank you Dennison. Help will be there in a moment. Morris put him on the bus. Dennison are you alright and not injured?" She asks him.
"Captain, I am fine thank you. Just glad to be off that damn ship ma'am." he tells her.
"Captain Briggs, please hand over the keys to the hole." She demands and holds her hand out,
"I do not know what you are talking about." He screams at her.
"Well then we will just tear this ship down to the ground and you can stand and watch your home be nothing but pieces of driftwood.." She gets in his face and grits her teeth.
He says nothing.
"Bring sledge hammers and axes agents. We have a ship to tear apart." She yells at them.
They just stand there looking at each other.
The first plank has been knocked loose, there goes the second and the third. Now they are working their way up to the bridge where the Captain's prize wheel is.
He stands as he watches the ax start to come down on it.
"Stop, I will give you the keys." He all but screams in her face.
"Morris come and retrieve the keys please." She tells him.
Morris walks up to the Captain and holds his hand out for the keys.
"No funny business sir. There are guns still pointed at you." He tells him.
Captain Briggs reaches inside his shirt and pulls out a chain with one key on it and jerks it off his neck and throws the keys at Captain Trevelyan.
"Nice catch Captain." Morris says as she throws them to him.
"You know Briggs, that was a stupid mistake. I or my team could have shot you right then." She tells him.
"I do not take orders from lowly women. We treat our women like dirt and they obey us; they know their place." He tells her.
"Agents Donovan and Simmons get this piece of shit out of my face before I lose my patience with this scumbag." She tells them.
"Now Briggs come along quietly and be good and there won't be any problems." Donovan tells him, grabbing his arm and jerking him forward.
He looks at the other agent.
"Don't look at me, she is in charge, bud." He tells him jerking his other arm and walking off with them laughing.
"Well Captain Trevelyan, our work is done here. I am sure your team can find the women and cooks and have the ambulances waiting on them to check them out." He tells her.
"Yes sir it is and yes they will. Now I am going to Headquarters and interrogate the Queen." She tells him.
They walk through the crowd of men and women that helped bring them down.
"Thank you all for the help. You have had our backs every time we have needed you. I am very grateful for all of you. My team as well has gone above and beyond. We have taken more scumbags down and are now ready to interrogate them. Send them to prison." She tells them all.
"Well Captain it is like this we could not have done this without your leadership and trust in all of us. As you know we have only just met a few weeks ago." He tells her.
"Yes Manchester but I am very good at reading people. Just ask my husband." She says with a smile on her face.
"Now y'all I must be on my way to interrogate a queen." She tells them.

That's all for this chapter. Chapter 38 time jump will be in Texas coming next week after my surgery. Keep me in your prayers. I will try to get them out before surgery but no promises. Thank you all.
