Well BadAss Captain Trevelyan caught the rats. Wow can you believe who all was involved in this. My lord so many influential people. Judges, Doctors, Mayors, Senators, High Ranking Officials, TV stars and top ten billboard singers, from country music to hard rock.
How about Grant and Betty Slaton's daughter? You know that hurt them to see their daughter there not to mention her husband the State Senator of New Jersey Rupert Alexanderson. This is going to be hard for them to deal with but with Ana having resources she will find them the best Psychiatrists that she can.
What about Ms. Delany she thought she was badass but she ain't got nothing on BadAss Trevelyan. Ana showed her she was the baddest and put that bitch in her place. Broke her nose, jaw and two very expensive teeth not to mention her leg.
Really talking about Ana the way she was doing and how much better Christian would be with someone else. Shooting off at the mouth calling Ana a bitch, whore and worthless. How about when she threw out Ana didn't have a pot to piss in. Ana informed that little jealous bitch that she is a trillionaire. She didn't know what to say.
Well Captain Trevelyan is almost at the end of all these Sex and Human Trafficking Rings. She has to interrogate some of them and their final stops will be Laredo, Texas and the Mexican border where you can walk right into Mexico from Laredo. Show your ID and you walk right across the border.
Now she has all the prisoners in one place time to get down to business. She is going to bring the parents in a few at a time and they will all be questioned about their missing child. If they are legitimate and their child was taken they will be reunited but if they aren't they will be locked up as the sorry ass scum they are.
She has affidavits from the 911 operators and the reports the parents made to the police force.
Can you just imagine how some of the parents are going to react when they find out their child was presumed dead by drowning but they are alive and well or as well as can be expected under these conditions.
Let's get on with the chapter and see who is good and who is not worth the shit on your shoes.
Chapter 47 Q & Secrets Oh My They All Come To Light
"Good morning Annie, how are you today?" Ray asked her as he walked into the kitchen where she was having a cup of tea. He raised his brow.
"Good morning daddy I am alright and you?" She asked him when he gave her a funny look.
"I am alright. Are you sure you are okay?" He asked her.
"Yes daddy I am alright why do you keep asking me that?" She asked him as she finished her tea.
"Well for one you are drinking tea and not your usual coffee and another there is no breakfast." He tells her looking around the kitchen.
"I needed a cup or two of tea this morning to relax before I go to Headquarters and start my interrogations. I have thought about this long and hard and I am going to interrogate the Queen again and get the answers I want and need. I don't believe all of what she said about what her father did to her and what her half brother demanded she do." She tells him standing up and fixing herself a cup of coffee now.
"Yeah I read the entries from her and her father's journals and there was only one that mentioned anything about what she said her father did to her or brother tried to do to her." He tells her as he walks over to the fridge and opens it to take the sausage out to cook.
"Daddy what are you doing? Stop that I am going to fix breakfast. I just needed to relax a little. I didn't sleep well last night. You know the parents are coming today to be questioned about their children. I know some parents will tell the truth and there will be some that will be dishonest." She tells him.
"We have all the signed affidavits from the 911 operators and the police forces that the parents went to. We have the news videos where some of the parents went on the air pleading with the kidnappers to bring their child home. We also have videos of the parents at the precincts when the police called them to come so they could talk to them." Ray tells her.
"Yes and we have the names of the children that were kidnapped by each of the bitches and bastards we have in custody. Their homes have been searched and daddy you won't believe what they found in some of them. It was ungodly and utterly sickening the agents said the houses were worse than a pigsty and that is god awful." She told him as she took the sausage from his hand and pushed him over to a chair to sit down.
Ana is cooking when Paula walks in. She looks damn give out.
"Hey, looks like you had a rough night." Ana tells her.
"I am so damn glad the night is over and that bitch is in jail. I couldn't take much more of her damn mouth. She was bad mouthing you Annie like crazy. I guess since you weren't there she didn't care what she said. I just let her spill her guts right to the camera that she didn't know was on her. I wanted to slam my fist in her already messed up mouth for talking about you like she did. She threatened to beat your ass and then she said she wanted to kill you not to mention she is going to sue you. It took two guards to hold me off that no good for nothing bitch" She tells them.
"While we were in the ambulance that stupid bitch Delany acted like a damn five year old in the ambulance for crying out loud about this and that. Saying that you broke two of her expensive teeth and now she was going to have to go and have them done again. I told her not in this lifetime she won't be going anywhere but straight to prison." She says as she walks over and fixes herself a cup of coffee.
"She grabbed my arm and tried to twist it. I smacked her hand away. She tried to sit up and head butt me but that didn't go in her favor. She started screaming and kicking. Russ told her she was embarrassing herself and no one wanted to listen to a grown woman that was at one time a famous movie star act like a spoiled kid that got her lollipop taken away." She said as she sat down at the table.
"Wow she has some nerve. Are you alright?" Ana asked her as she walked over to her to look at her arm.
"Yeah I am alright she didn't hurt me. You know she told Russ that she was a famous movie and always would be. He already knew she was at one time. He told her not anymore especially when word got out about what she had done. She shut up and stared at me the rest of the way to the hospital." She told them laughing.
"Wow just wow that woman is something else. How in the world did she even become a movie star?" Ray asked, shaking his head.
"That's not the half of it y'all." She sighs loudly.
"Oh my lord you mean there is more? Do tell us." Ray says making himself comfortable sitting on the couch in the living room putting his legs up on the coffee table and crossing his ankles.
"Daddy, are you comfortable now?" Ana asked him, looking over at him with a smirk on her face to keep from laughing at him.
"Yes, very comfortable now Paula, continue please." Ray says, crossing his legs the other way.
"Well we got to the hospital and they got her out of the ambulance and into one of the emergency rooms. She started screaming for a nurse. I mean literally screaming at the top of her lungs that she needs a nurse or doctor to attend to her immediately, that she needs drugs for her leg and face." She looked so funny her face was so red from screaming that the nurse thought she was going to have a panic attack or a heart attack the way she was breathing.
"The doctor walked in and told her to stop screaming that there were sick people in the hospital. Then he looked at her leg and said they needed to x-ray it to see where it was broken. She told them every bone in it was broken and you were one that did." She told them when she sat down.
"Really? Oh well everyone will know by the end of the next month. After we return home. Once we have the Ring in Laredo and at the border. Hell the world will know who all was involved with Sex, Drug and Human Trafficking Rings and the agencies that brought them down. Yes my name will probably be there in bold letters not only because I am the FBI Captain that brought them down with my teams but because I am married to none other than Christian Trevelyan who used to be Grey." She tells them while she is crumbling the sausage to fix her sausage gravy.
"That is so true. We will be home before all that comes out and news crews can't broadcast anything without you giving a press release. Because I would hate for any of our family to read about us before we got a chance to tell them where we have been and why we have been gone so long." Paula says.
"Yes Paula we will be home way before all of this hits the papers and the news. I am not going to talk to any news crews until later. That will probably be some time after we are home. With all the trials going on I can't comment anyway." She says as she puts the gravy in a bowl.
"Alright come on and let's eat. We have sausage gravy and biscuits with scrambled eggs." She tells them as she sits down at the table.
'Now back to Delany what else did she have to say?" Ray asked her as he finished his last bite of his biscuit.
"She demanded drugs before they took her down to the x-ray room. Doc Barnes told her he would have the nurse give her a mild sedative because they would be turning her leg different ways and he knew she was in pain now." She told them.
"Okay, so what was broken? I am sure I broke something because I heard it crack." She tells Paula.
"Yes, yes you did, you broke her fibula and tibia. Doctor Barnes said both bones normally break together. It's called a compound fracture. She might need therapy for her leg. She was crying like a baby well bawling like one her face was turning red and her blood pressure was too high so Dr. Barnes decided to keep her overnight for that and the sedative he gave her."
"Now since she was staying overnight he told the nurse if she needed something for pain she could have it after blood pressure went down." She told them.
"Let me tell you whatever the doctor prescribed for her made her loopy and talkative. You won't believe what she said. I had to record her. I only asked her if she was alright and then she started talking about you and if you had not been involved in this sting operation no one would have gotten caught."
"Listen to this." She lays her phone on the table so they can hear what Delany had to say. "She says some pretty nasty words about you Annie but she basically spills her guts about what her part was in the kidnapping of the children and who she was in contact with during the two months she has been involved but she has been involved for two years." She tells them.
Ana and Ray listen to the recording and can not believe what that bitch is saying and who talked her into doing this. She gave names and places some of the kidnappings took place and how.
"Oh my god daddy did you hear all that? How in god's name could she do something like that? How in the world can someone that is well known as a famous movie star that is rich be so fucking stupid to help these bastards for money? She has her own money but I guess like some say you always want more and well definitely this bitch did. Ana asked question after question but didn't get any answers from Ray and Paula.
"Alright now we have more names. This is what I want you to do daddy. Take these names to the Director and have him talk to the judge and issue warrants for their arrest and search warrants for their homes, cars, businesses and anything else you can think of." She tells him.
"Then I want you to take some of our best agents and go to their homes with warrants and arrest every damn last one of them. I will have Morris do the same with more agents for the other ones. We are going to take them to the largest prison there is and lock their sorry asses up until it is time for them to go to court. I feel like some of them won't make it to court if any of the prisoners find out what they have done." She tells them as she is walking over to the windows and is looking out.
"Daddy, after you and Morris finish with the searches I would like for you both to come to Headquarters and question some of the men prisoners if you both have time." She tells him.
"Paula, we are going to interrogate some of the women today. You can sleep some then come to Headquarters later. I have enough men and women agents there to start the interrogations. You need sleep first." She tells her.
"Annie, I am fine." She says but she starts yawning.
"No dear you go and get some sleep. I want you wide awake for the interrogations." She tells her.
"No use arguing with her and you know this. Sweet dreams my dear." Ray tells her and kisses her on her forehead.
"I am out of here. Will call you when the warrants are in my hands. Take care of yourself and do not go into any interrogation room with another agent with you young lady." Ray tells her when he walks over to her and hugs her.
"Yes daddy of course I will have someone in there with me. The bitch will be handcuffed to the table with leg chains cuffed to the chair." She tells him, hugging him back.
"Let me guess you are pulling the so-called Queen in to interrogate her?" Paula asked her.
"You hit the nail on the head my friend. Of course she is going first. I am going to get answers from here but I am going to throw names out and see how she reacts. You know I can read people and that bitch is easy to read. Then I will tell her about the other journals, especially the ones we found she didn't tell us about. Then see what the Queen has to say." She tells her.
"I have questions written down for the agents to ask the prisoners that they will be questioning. I do not want any kind of slip ups that will let the prisoners walk away. Everything will be above board and to the letter." She tells her.
"Now off to bed with you sis. I love you and thank you for all you do. We will be going home soon I promise. After we do this last sting and all of our reports for Laredo we are outta here and on my jet home." She tells her best friend.
"Oh dear lord, I can not wait to see Elliot and tell him how I love and have missed him. I wonder what he and Christian are doing? Hell, I wonder what the whole family is doing and thinking right now you know." She says with tears in her eyes.
"Oh sugar they are doing alright. You remember what Uncle J told us. They are all working on helping a lot of people and all the children that we saved before we left. I miss Christian so much and can't wait to see him and tell him how much I love and have missed him." She says now with tears in her eyes.
"Okay you two enough tears. We will see them all very soon. Now off to bed with you missy and off to Headquarters with you young lady. You both just remember all the good we have done and all the children we have saved. This mission wasn't for nothing." He tells them as he hugs both of them.
"Yes sir we know that and yes we have saved so many and there are so many more that will be saved," Ana tells them both.
Paula walks to the bedroom and Ana finishes cleaning the kitchen and she gets dressed and leaves for Headquarters.
"Good morning Captain Trevelyan." The agent said, sitting at his desk.
"Good morning Liam, how are you today and how is the family?" She asked him.
"I am doing very well Captain and the family is doing great. You know Catlin and I will be grandparents in a few months." He tells her.
"Yes I know how is Cassie doing?" She asked him.
"Very well ma'am and getting bigger everyday. I swear she is having twins but the doctor said only one." He says smiling at her.
"Well you never know it could be twins with one hiding behind the other." She tells him.
"Lord if it is not only will Cassie and Blake go crazy Catlin will too. Anyway, who would you like to start with? I know that is why you are here so early." He tells her.
"The Queen Slovenia Padres sir. By the way, how is Eve Delany doing today? You know she came here after her stay in the hospital last night." She tells him.
"Yes ma'am we all know." He sighs. "Paula brought her in this morning and she was bitching the whole way to her cell even though she was in a wheelchair. The wheelchair is out in the hall for her to use when she is taken down for questioning." He tells her.
"Thank you for telling me. Now would you please have a male and a female agent go and cuff Ms. Padres arms and legs with chains and bring her to interrogation room three for me please. I also need an agent in the room with me at all times." She tells him.
"Yes Captain, I will have Agents Custer and Vance bring her to you." He replies.
"Thank you, I will be waiting inside the room for her." She tells him.
Captain Trevelyan has everything set up when the prisoner is brought in. The videotaping machine and the recorder.
The door opens wide and Slovenia Padres walks into the room very slowly. Well waddles like a duck with the chains on her legs.
They walk her over to the table and lock her legs to the chains of the table and her hands on top of the table are chained as well.
"Do you think I am going to walk away or try to hurt you Captain Trevelyan?" Queen Slovenia Padres asked her, looking at her like she was dirt on her shoes.
"Ms. Padres you have been read your rights and you have no attorney present. Would you like us to provide one for you?" Captain Trevelyan asks her.
"No I do not need an attorney and as you have already explained to me my attorney is in jail for drugs he was carrying into your country." She sneers at the Captain.
"Very well please state your full name and acknowledge that you know we are videotaping and recording." Captain Trevelyan tells her.
"My name is Slovenia Margarita Padres and yes I am aware that you are videotaping and recording me Captain Anastasia Trevelyan of the FBI." She says as she looks straight at the Captain.
"Ms. Padres we can cut the hostility there is no reason for it. Yes you got caught and you know what you have done is wrong in the eyes of the law and the families you have hurt not to mention destroyed. So I advise you to sit there and speak to me in a civilized manner or you can go back to your cell and I will have another agent talk to you when they have time. It is your choice. Now what will it be? Me or another agent? The clock is ticking and I don't have all day to sit here." She tells her as she stands up.
"Alright. Alright, I will talk to you. What do you want to know, Captain?" She says as she tries to get comfortable with the cuffs on her wrist.
"First of all, just about everything you told me was a lie." Captain Trevelyan said to her as she was watching her face and body movements.
She looks at the Captain and her mouth drops open. She hasn't said a word.
"Close your mouth you look ridiculous." Captain Trevelyan tells her.
She does and she still sits there not speaking.
"Cat got your tongue Ms. Padres?" Captain asked her.
"I am trying to comprehend why you are saying everything I told you was a lie." She says.
"I said just about everything you told me was a lie." Captain tells her.
"I do not lie Captain. I am guilty of other things but lying isn't one of them." She tells her not looking at her.
"Do you honestly take me for a fool Ms. Padres?" That's all the Captain says.
"Captain I…she looks at the Captain and is trying to figure out what she knows.
'How many people believe the lies you tell them Ms. Padres? You just told me a bold face lie. The biggest bold face lie you could ever tell me." Captain Trevelyan says as she stands up and walks toward the door.
She turns around and walks back to her seat at the table.
"I don't think you know the truth from a lie. You have told so many and they are running around in your head. Now everytime you speak nothing is the same as before." Captain tells her.
"What makes you think I am lying to you Captain Trevelyan?" She says.
"I am asking the questions here, not you. But I will answer this. Because I know different and I have the evidence to back it up." She tells her, staring her down.
The so-called Queen just sits there looking down and then around and back down again. Trying to figure out what the Captain knows and how much she knows and where the hell she got her information and proof from.
'I know I didn't leave anything laying around my house out in the open. Oh hell no no way did they find them.'
"Are you through talking to yourself and ready to answer my questions because I don't have all day to sit here with you. I have other prisoners to question." She tells her.
She just looks at the Captain.
"Do you know Carrick Grey? If so, how long have you known him? How long have you been working with Matthew John Lincoln? Do you know Calvin Rogers? How long have you known him? Do you know Celeste O'Connor?" Am I getting to you Ms. Padres Captain Trevelyan asks as she walks over to the window but she is looking at the video. Watching Padres body movements and facial expressions.
She says nothing.
"I have a list of names here and I want to know how many of them you know personally? How many of them have you spoken face to face with and when? How many of them have you paid to do your dirty work? Dates, times and places? How you met them and where you met them? Who gave you their names? How many of them have you and your people blackmailed, threatened?" She tells her as she lays another list in front of her.
"I want to know how many of these people have given their child to you to keep them from being blackmailed or threatened so their husbands, wives, girl friends, boyfriends or partners will never find out about their BDSM scenes for being naughty or for just walking into one of the BDSM clubs?" Captain Trevelyan says getting in her face and raising her voice so loud that not only is Padres scared, the agents are holding their breaths waiting to see what the Captain is going to say or do next.
"In other words Ms. Padres I want to know everything. Do not leave the tiniest detail out, do you understand what I mean?" She says to her.
Captain Trevelyan realizes that she is almost on top of this bitch and screaming at her. She calms down and backs away and pulls her dress back down roughly. Then she sits down across from the prisoner.
"Captain Trevelyan, would you like a bottle of water ma'am?" Agent Vance asked her.
"Yes thank you. My throat is getting parched." She says to Vance.
"I'll get it for you Captain." Vance says as she walks over to the fridge and opens it and brings her a bottle of water.
"Thank you Ramona." Captain says as she cracks open the bottle and takes a few hefty swallows.
"Yes, just what I needed." She says.
"Now Ms. Padres, do you understand what I am asking you to do? I want to know right now how you are affiliated with each person on that list in some capacity." The Captain tells her.
"This is a long list, it will take me a while." Padres says looking at the list.
"That's fine you are not going anywhere and neither am I." She tells her. "So I suggest you start looking and calling out the names and telling how you are affiliated or acquainted with them." She tells her.
"Aren't you going to write this down?" She asks the Captain.
"No need, we are recording you and videotaping this interrogation as you well know." The Captain tells her.
She looks at the list and calls off each name and how they met, who introduced them, who she paid. Who they blackmailed. How many gave their children away to her and her group of traffickers.
Wow she is giving up name after name of who introduced her and her people to the ones on the list.
She looks at the Captain and tells her. "You already knew a lot of this?" She glaring at the Captain.
"Now what makes you think I know about any of this? I asked you to give me all of these names and how you know them." She tells her.
They are in a stare off right now. Neither one says anything or backs down.
Captain Trevelyan clears her throat and stands up still looking at her.
"I want to know who started this Sex and Human Trafficking Ring here in the United States that you got involved with and how long it has been going on? I want names of the people that bought the children and where they were taken from and where they are now? I want to know how much you were paid for each child that your people sold? Do not lie to me again, it will not be good for you." The Captain tells her.
"I have nothing to hide, you know everything I am sure you do by now." She tells the Captain. "John Lincoln started this five years ago in Seattle. Elena Lincoln got involved four years ago. I have been doing this since I was sixteen years old. I am thirty seven years old. I have been doing this for years with my father before he was killed. I worked with his brothers, cousins and my half brother.
"My father started this trafficking ring at home before my mother died. I was raped as you already know but I was not sold to anyone. My father did throw me at my uncles and they were the ones that raped me when I was eleven years old.
"I got fully involved in this after my mother passed away. I loved and hated her. Do you know why Captain? I will tell you why. She would not help me when my father let his brothers have me. She said we were nothing, that we women were worthless like donkey dung and there was nothing she could do to help me. She would have been beaten or killed for interfering in mens ways." She says staring into the videotaping machine and looking at herself. Not a tear in her eyes.
"I think you better stop there and ask for an attorney. I am telling you this now since you have opened this can of worms on yourself." She tells her as she looks at her.
"We have all your journals and your father's journals and we found your mother's private journal. It was hidden in your father's bedroom on the ship. With that said before I go any further would you like an attorney present now?" The Captain asks her.
The Captain looks at her trying to gauge what is going on in her head at the moment.
"My mother did not have a private journal or any type of book to write in." She says.
"Are you refusing council Ms. Padres?" Captain Trevelyan asks her.
"As I have stated we have all of your and your father's journals. Last time do you or do you not wish to have an attorney present? Yes or no before we go one step further?" Captain Trevelyan stresses the last sentence as she watches Padres eyes go from light blue to dark blue and she sees what she was looking for. Ms. Padres is scared of what the Captain found in the journals. She didn't know her mother kept one.
"I would like to go back to my cell and rest and think about this if I may. I have nothing further to say at the moment." She tells the Captain.
"Very well and we have a list of attorneys for you to choose from. I will continue this when you have counsel present or when I receive word that you do not want an attorney present. Good day Ms. Padres.
The Captain walks out of the room and to the office of the Director.
"Come in." He says.
"Captain Trevelyan, how are you doing today my dear?" He asked her.
"I was doing great until I had to question Ms. Padres. She is something else. She finally decided after some of my questions were making her extremely nervous that she wanted to return to cell and think about an attorney." She tells him as she sits down across from his desk.
"Yes, yes she is. She is driving the guards crazy." He tells her.
"As you know sir we have recovered her journal, her father's journal and we also found her mother's private journal. That is what it says on the front of the journal. Her mother's name is Robekah Padres sir. I would like for you to read over it. It is very interesting and explains a lot that Ms. Padres was not willing to give us. Sir you will be amazed at what you read." She tells him.
"I will have one of my agents bring it to me out of the evidence room and read it." He tells her.
'I have Ms. Padres on video and recording where she gave the names of the people that we arrested. She told how she knew them, where she met them, how much they were paid to take the child. The ones she and her people were blackmailing and threatening. The ones they have incriminating pictures on are from the BDSM Clubs. In other words, sir, she told me everything." She tells him.
"Who started this ring here and when did it start?" He asks her.
"None other than John Lincoln he started this five years ago. We can't get him because he was killed by me in Charleston, South Carolina when we first started this operation. His ex-wife Elena Lincoln has been involved for four years. We know where that bitch is she is in Federal Prison and I am just itching to get a chance to interrogate that bitch pedophile and I will sir. I put her there and now I am going to bury her there." She tells him with no remorse whatsoever.
"Yes we all know that you did that Captain and yes you will be the one to interrogate her again if that is your wish." He tells her looking at her.
"Yes sir it is. She needs to finally own up to her mistakes she has made over the years. Sorry excuse from a human being if I ever saw one. We have an undercover narc in the prison with her. She has told her some things but we need more intel from our narc." She tells him.
"Very well whenever you decide to do this we will have a team ready to go with you. As I know your own team will be there as well. Better in numbers my dear." He tells her.
"Yes sir always and I am going to take my leave and go rest. I was going to interrogate Eve Delany but I have had enough for one day." She tells him.
"I will see you tomorrow, Captain. I am going to go look and listen to the interrogation you did. Then I am going to go and read all of those journals." He tells her as he walks out from his desk and over to the door to open it for her.
"Sir, they are written in Arabic. I do not know if you can read that language." She tells him.
"Captain Trevelyan I had to learn several languages in school and abroad. Then I had to learn some for my job. Never know what nationality we will come in contact with. I know we have interpreters here. These agents know almost as much as I do." He tells her.
"Alright sir, I will be here tomorrow. Hopefully I will receive word on Padres whether she wants an attorney or not." She tells him as she walks to the front of the building and her father is waiting on her.
"Dad, what are you doing here? I didn't think you would make it back this soon." She asked him.
"Oh I thought I would come on in and question some of these damn men. I did a few but they are real jerks. After they decided they didn't want an attorney. I started questioning them. I guess they couldn't keep their lies straight so they figured they better have an attorney. So I was waiting for you to see how your questioning went with the bitch." He tells her.
"Let's get out of her and go find some greasy cheeseburgers. I am starving and it is past lunchtime." She tells him.
"Now you are talking young lady. I could kill for a large order of onion rings and a chocolate shake." He tells her.
She grabs his arm and out the door they go.
"Damn daddy, that was the best cheeseburger I have had in a while." She tells him slurping the last of her second chocolate shake.
"Yeah it was good but not as good as the ones we make back home with all your secret ingredients you add." He tells her.
"Now down to business. We have all the people in custody. Their homes were searched and we found pictures of the children they had taken. We found safes with millions of dollars in them at all the homes we searched." He tells letting it all sink in.
"Continue please." She tells him.
"We found contracts that were written by Ms. Slovenia Padres attorneys here in the states." He waits. "That proves that she is the ring leader since her father was murdered in cold blood on his ship. The contracts state that she has taken over her father's duties and now she is the boss and everyone that worked for her father now bows to her." He tells her as he waves a waitress over.
"Yes sir, how can I help you?" The waitress asked him.
"Janice, I would like a cup of coffee. Annie would care for something else?" Ray asked her.
"No sir, I am fine thank you." She tells him.
"Very good sir, I will bring your coffee right over." She tells him and walks off.
"Everyone's house we searched had a contract that stated they work for her and no one else. Every person has signed it and agreed to her terms. I imagine if they didn't they might have been eliminated some way because they all knew too much. I believe they were too scared not to agree to her terms." He tells her.
Janice brings his coffee.
"Thank you Janice, that will be all for now." Ray tells her.
"Very good sir." She walks away.
"Did you find anything on either John or Elena Lincoln at any of the homes? I know I can't go after the bastard but I can put the fear of god in the bitch when I go and question her again." She tells him.
"Oh honey did we ever." He says.
"Well tell me please." She says.
"You said she told you John started this five years ago here in the states, correct?" He asks her.
"Yes sir, that is what she told me. I gather by your look that was a lie." She tells him.
"Well I am not sure if she knew how long John had been involved in this ring because he started this before her father got involved here in the states. From the books we recovered at Madame Priscilla's BDSM Club, John Lincoln was furnishing Madame Priscilla with young girls. John Lincoln worked for none other than Carrick Grey and Hadley Silverstone of Grey and Silverstone attorneys." He sits there waiting for all that to sink in."
She looks at Ray then opens and closes her mouth again and again. She doesn't know what to say about what Ray just told her.
"Oh my freaking..oh damn..dad are you sure about that? Oh never mind I know you are. What the hell is going on? How did we never know that? I..I don't..what the hell." She says as she is sitting there trying to form a sentence.
"Annie deep breaths. In and out in and out. That's it that's better. In and out in and out. Good, good. That's it. Better now Annie? Relax and I will finish." He tells her.
"Come to find out Carrick and John knew each other before the Lincolns moved to Bellevue. Before Carrick knew Grace. Carrick and John went to elementary school through high school together and were best friends for years." He tells her.
She is sitting there waiting for him to continue.
"Carrick went on to Harvard to become the successful attorney he was for years. During that time John went to college in their hometown of Berkeley, California to become successful in timber. He went to college for business, forestry and resource management. He was a Forestry major." He tells her.
"Okay alright but how in the hell did they start this ring?" She asked him.
"Well from what the journals that we found at Madame Priscilla's stated. Carrick was in over his head since he met Grace and found out that his girlfriend's father was a big time attorney and he had to hide his other business from Mr. Trevelyan because in Carrick's own words in the journal he states.. "If Grace's father ever finds out who I really am that bastard will not let me continue to date his daughter and marry her. I have to get someone else to do my dirty work for me. Oh yes I know who it will be, my long time friend Matthew John Lincoln."... He tells her.
"Daddy I threw Linc's name out at her during the interrogation she fidgeted in her chair. You know like she was nervous and making small continuous moves in her chair." She tells him. "I wasn't that sure but now I know she knew him. I think at one time she said she did."
"Daddy I am going in a hundred different directions right now. I can't for the life of me understand why I didn't know or anyone else didn't know any of this. Why didn't we know this?" She says, shaking her head.
"I want you to read the journals there are so many of them through the years. Carrick started this in college before he met Grace. He was nineteen years old, Annie." He tells her.
"There are journals that detail everything he has done from the time he was twenty one years old. He started this because the girls he wanted to date didn't give him the time of day. They thought they were better than he was and his family was richer than some of the girls at college. He thought that women were supposed to bow down to him. They didn't cotton to him as he said in his journals. So he did things that.. that would have put him in prison before you did." He tells her as he raises his hand for the check.
"Carrick is a very bad man. Worse than what we thought." He tells her.
"How did he meet her father Manque Jarvis?" Annie asked him.
"Annie, it is all in the journals and they are at Headquarters. Let's go back and get them and go to your hotel room and you can read them." He tells her as the waitress brings their check. He pays and they walk back to Headquarters.
"Captain Trevelyan and Agent Steele I wasn't expecting y'all back until tomorrow." The agent at the desk tells them.
"Yes, well I need the key to the evidence room. I have to look over some important papers that came to my attention, Richard." She tells him.
"Yes ma'am I will get the key for you." He says and walks off to another room and comes back with a big key.
"Here you go Captain Trevelyan." He says as he hands her the big key.
"Thank you Richard I will return it soon." She says.
They walk down the hall to the stairs and walk down them to the evidence room. She unlocks the door and they walk in and Ray shows her where the evidence box is located.
"This is what you want to read." He says as he takes out a box and it is filled with journals.
"Oh my lord, how many journals are there in here?" She asked him.
"We counted a hundred. There are journals from her father, from Carrick, from Linc some say John others say Matthew and there are some from some well known but unsavory characters. You read them and you will see who I am talking about." He tells her picking the box up and walking over to another section that has more boxes. These are marked BDSM.
She opens the box and looks inside taking one of the journals out and looking inside she sees names and one name she can not believe is there.
"Dad, is this right? Is this who I think it is? Why..why..would how could..she do this? No daddy there is no way she is involved with this. Tell me this is wrong?" She says with tears in her eyes trying to control them.
"No it is what it is Annie and there is nothing you nor I can do to change it. I would have given my life savings if you had never had to know about this but it is here in her own handwriting. Come on Annie, let's get out of here." He tells her as he picks up that box too.
Captain Trevelyan is trying to hold it together until she gets out of there and back to her hotel. She stops at the front desk and signs the boxes out and leaves.
Once she is in her room at the hotel she lets it all out.
Paula hears her and runs out of her room.
"What in the world? Ray, what is wrong with Annie? Is it Christian is he hurt? Is it the family in trouble?" She asked him.
"Oh no honey everyone is fine. She has just found some very disturbing things and she held it together until we got here." He tells her.
Paula walks over to Annie. " Annie, what is wrong sweetheart? What is going on?" She asked her as she rubs her back trying to comfort her.
Annie pulls away and walks over to the boxes and pulls one journal out and opens it to the first page and hands the book over to Paula.
Paula reads the first page and looks at Annie and can't believe what she just read and who wrote it and what she has done since they were all in college.
"Ray, tell me this is a joke? This can't be right..how in the world did she get herself messed up with this bunch of criminals? Someone tell me something?" She demands.
"I don't know we haven't read all of it or all of them. There are quite a few in that box. I am sure we will find out what is going on and why she decided to join these sorry ass cretins." He tells her.
"Annie come over here and sit down come on get off the floor." She tells her.
"Ray, please fix her a cup of tea. Thank you." She tells him.
Wow well that is it for right now. I wasn't planning on making it this long. I surely wasn't planning on adding these last few paragraphs. Something told me to keep writing and this is what my imagination wrote.
Any idea who this person is that Annie or Paula can't believe would do something like this and what did she do?
Well we will find out soon or will we?
