Author's note: Hey, guys. I apologized for deleting RWBY Volume 4 Redux. Because the plots I wrote before writing the first volume is too fast now that I read it so far. Don't worry. When I am done writing Volumes 1-3 Redux, I will rewrite Volume 4 Redux with new plots. Again, I apologized for deleting Volume 4 Redux. But rest assured, the Redux Volume will continued with a few changes I will write.
As for the Persona 5 Arena fanfic I wrote. I'm sorry for deleting that since the 2nd Prologue hadn't been updated. But I already post Persona 5 Arena in my Wattpad account with the same name. Check it out.
-Beacon Academy, Courtyard-
Ruby, Yang, Nora and Ren head put together as the air bus lands on the mountain where the school is held. As they have a closer lpok at the building, it wad more than they can imagine. he structure is more palace-like.
It was as if history is coming to life for them, since according to Ren, it used to be a base for the Great War. He was fascinated with the history of Remnant after his father told him stories about it.
"This place..." Ren began. The three girls looked at him as he speaks. "It was used for the base of operation before it was converted into a school. During the time when the Great War went on."
"Just how much of a bookworm are you, Ren?" Yang teased.
"It's safe to say..." Ren paused, but then his face turned to frown. Ruby, Yang and Nora waited for him to answer. "Ren?" Ruby spoke. Ren shook his head after hearing her.
"Sorry. Just a few things I don't want to talk about...as of now." Ren replied.
"Um...okay." Yang said.
"So, you guys might be up for training for some time? Usually, it was just me and my uncle. But I could use some practice to prepare for anything." Ruby asked.
"You kidding me?! I love to train with new friends!" Nora cheered as she hugs the sisters one more time before Ren told her something. "I would like to stick around. But we got to head to the ballroom for the entrance ceremony." Ren reminds her.
He then looks at Ruby and Yang. "Ruby, Yang, it's nice to meet you both. Let's meet another time." Ren said to them.
"Nice to meet you too, guys!" Ruby waved as she and Yang watches the two leave.
"That wasn't so bad. Right, Rubes?" Asked Yang in a teasing matter.
"What do you mean?" Asked Ruby. But judging by the smile that her older sister has since years of growing up. She read this isn't the reaction she is expecting.
"You're finally making new friends, little sis!" Yang makes a light punch on her shoulder. Ruby grew annoyed at her sister's teasing. "Yang, cut it out! Making at least a few friends might be enough. But my focus now is to become a huntress and nothing else."
Ruby is determined to not be underestimated. Even if she is two years younger than the rest of the first-year students, she chose to not show off to not upset anyone.
"Come on, just give yourself credit for once!" Yang said. "I mean, Professor Ozpin saw it. And you don't need to take entrance exams for it." Yang tried to lighten the mood.
"Hey, not so loud!" Ruby said as she sees some students passing by. But when they were about to proceed, Ruby accidently bumps onto a couple of suitcases. And it was a lot of them from a rack that was carrying them.
"Hey, watch where you're going!" It was a girl with white hair, and ice blue eyes. And is very upset over the suitcases being knocked down.
Ruby rubbed her head after a small suitcase fell on her head. "Ouch!" Yang helped her younger sister up, and glared at the girl in fromt of him. "I'm...I'm sorry!" Ruby apologized after seeing how angry the girl is.
Judging by the servants helping out with the luggage, and the way how well-dressed the girl is, she must be wealthy. "Do you have any idea how you could've broken those vials of dusts?!"
"Hey, I said I was sorry!" Ruby argued back.
"Yeah, you heard her! She apologized!" Yang joined her sister, as she wasn't going to let Ruby be discourage because of the smallest of things.
"You could've cracked those vials of elements: fire, ice, lightning!" While the girl continued to rant about the vials. They were leaking dusts, and it was spreading on Ruby. She can feel the dust flowing through her nose.
And she feels like inhaling, and then she sneezed. And that causes the dust to release some ice, fire and lightning. Yang was taken aback, the three girls are covered in smitereens.
The girl then dropped one of the vials. And it rolled to the feet of a raven-haired girl woth a bow om her hair. Holding her book to her face as she reads it. Then she sees the vial and picks it up and approaches the three other girls.
"You dropped this." Said the raven-haired girl. The girl snatched it from her hand. Then turns back to Ruby and Yang. "Um, you don't have to be angry." Yang huffed, exhausted dealing with the argument.
"Do you have any idea who I am?!" She scoffed. But the raven-haired girl interrupted. "Weiss Schnee. Heiress of the Schnee Dust Company that is the industry of dust enhancemant and technologies."
The heiress smiled proudly as she sighs in relief. "Finally! Someone knows who I am!"
"However, this also involves controversies of questionable business dealings and faunus labor." The girl continued, amd with those facts, Weiss is dismayed. "Hey!" The two girls even laughed at this fact.
"Oh, she's got you there!" Yang laughs.
"You should've seen the looks on your face!" Ruby adds.
Pyrrha then intervenes as she and Jaune witnessed the scene. "Um, hey, let's not fight anymore. We got to get to the ballroom for the opening ceremony." She told her soon-to-be fellow students.
The six of the first-year students were quiet as they looked at each other awkwardly. Knowing it was a waste of time to argue, the four girls relent. "Alright, fine. It was a waste of time any way. So I'll let bygones-be-bygones."
"Those dusts are replaceable, you know." Yang scoffed before she and Ruby left. The two sisters are still upset about this encounter. Pyrrha, Blake, and Jaune happened to be close by.
Ruby then turned to Pyrrha. "Hey, thanks for that. Sorry you had to see what happened." She thanked her. Seeing her eyes that she is never one that wanted conflict, Ruby figured she is a kind person.
"Oh, no. Don't thank me. I was just don't like arguments. After all, here in Beacon Academy, it is required to be on teams. Friend or rival, we are going to be comrades." Pyrrha explains to Ruby.
"Do you have any rivals before?" Ruby asked. Curious about what it's like to have rivals. Pyrrha frowned as she remembered that too many girls her age didn't seem to want to be friends with her due to her high achievements. Many envy her for being too good for anything.
"Not that I know of." Pyrrha said. "What's your name?"
"Ruby Rose. That's my sister Yang." Pyrrha blinked. Judging by her height, she figured Ruby is a at least two years younger. Pyrrha has a younger sister who is 13 in Argus. She is currently attending Sanctum Academy.
"Oh, really? I'm surprised you got accepted here two years earlier." Pyrrha admits. Ruby looked embarrassed as she feels a little smaller than the rest of the students. "I know. Actually, it all started with this...um...how should I put this?"
"The fact that you fought a couple of robbers with your scythe and Ozpin saw your skills much more amazing than the rest of the Signal Students?" Yang teased again. Trying to boost some confidane in her little sister.
"Can we not bring that up?" Ruby sighed.
"I think for what it's worth..." Pyrrha began. "I think you can accomplish anything if you think about it."
"I just got lucky. But thanks." Ruby said, feeling better about herself.
"Say, you and the blonde girl know each other?" Asked Jaune, looking at Yang.
"Oh, her? She's my big sister." Ruby replied.
"Really? You don't look alike." Said Jaune. He wasn't wrong, since Ruby knows that she and her sister looked like their parents. For Yang having their father's blonde hair, and lilac eyes she has from their paternal grandmother. Ruby inherit dark hair and silver eyes from their mother.
"Um, Yang took after my dad. I mostly look like my mom."
"Oh, I get it. Sorry. Just curious." Jaune apologized. Ruby knows he didn't mean to make things awkward. "I'm Jaune Arc by the way."
"Ruby Rose." She and Jaune shook hands. The two felt like they can relate. And it was too quick. "Say, I heard you wield a scythe. Is that true?"
"Yeah, why is that?" Ruby asked.
"Well, I don't see other huntsmen and students holding that weapon. At least on the way. Not many can use it." Jaune said. Curious about the girl who got quickly rumored to hold a scythe.
"Huh? Oh. I see." Ruby replied.
"Who taught you how to use it?" Jaune asked.
"My uncle. He is a huntsman who is also a teacher at Signal Academy. I went there before Ozpin scouted me to this school." Ruby said cheerfully.
"Can it do anything else?" He asked.
"It's also a gun." Ruby adds.
"Okay, that's cool. I forgot they used additional modifications to weapons." Jaune scratched the back of his head. "My weapon on the other hand is a sword. But my dad forbidden those additions."
"Really? Why is that?" Ruby asked.
"Well, the sword has been passed down for Generations since the Great War. It belonged to my great-great grandfather." Jaune explained. "It was a heirloom, so Dad wants it to keep it the way it is."
"Really? It looks new for a weapon that was passed for generations. It's got to be centuries old." Said Ruby. "It's really cool."
"Are you serious?"
"Duh! With weapons, there is history. Your family must be known for something." Ruby said.
"Like I said, my ancestor fought in the Great War. Not to brag and all, but that's where the sword came in." Jaune adds.
"Oh, I get it. You're from a warrior clan." Ruby said. Noticing the emblem in his sword. She had seen it before in history class. With the chalk drawing on a board with the same symbol drawn on.
"Hey, why is it silent all of a sudden?" Yang asked.
Ruby, Blake, Pyrrha, and Jaune realized that the courtyard is silent. As soon as they looked around, nobody except them is around anymore.
"Oh, man! We've been chatting too long!" Ruby whined.
"Best we hurry, the ceremony is about to start." Blake points out. The five students ran to the entrance to make it to the ceremony. And to their relief, it hasn't started yet.
Once they entered the ballroom, they all stand in the crowd. Ruby sees how much the student body has gathered. "Wow, that's the grand ballroom. Amazing. A much easier place to gather for assemblies."
"You said it. I wonder if we will be given a dorm when this is over." Yang adds.
"I still can't help but feel upset about earlier. Not only that heiress shputed at us even after I apologized. But sneezing a bunch of dust of lightning fire and ice around the air is so humiliating!"
"Hey, it is just one day, sis." Yang assures her sister. That did not make Ruby feel any better as she thought the first time she messed up, it might end with bad luck.
Ruby faked a smile. "Ha-ha. Yeah. Just the first day." Then a microphone was tapped. The sisters along with the other students looked upfront to see Glynda and Ozpin.
"May I have your attention please? I am Professor Ozpin, headmaster of Beacon Academy. And I welcome you all first-year students to this school. Here it is required to pass the inauguration tests to come into teams of four. As future huntsmen and huntresses, when it comes to having a team, strong bonds are the most important key to trust. But with trust, it comes with trial."
The speech left the student talking amongst themselves. It also leaves Ruby and Yang to ponder a clue about the speech as well.
"We will remain in the ballroom for tonight until the dorms are assigned to each of you." Glynda lets the students know.
Meanwhile...
-Haven Academy-
A muscular young man with green hair was tossing and turning s he tried to sleep. But he kept shaking and breathing heavily. Sweat dripping from his head as he has a nightmare.
It was a mysterious shadow with red eyes, filled with craving for death. Even if he wants to stop thinking, the nightmare was like never ending to him. He snapped his eyes opened, and gasped. "Ah!" He ran his hand om his head, wiping off the sweat.
He then walks to the balcolny. Wondering what the nightmare is about. "That same dream again." He sighed.
Author's note: I thought I can give a little more dialogue for Teams RWBY and JNPR for this chapter. Since I think those teams should have character development when interacting with reach other.
Again, I am sorry about Volume 4 Redux. But after I write the first 3 volumes, I will rewrote Volume 4. Plus there will be plots extended to Volume 1 Redux. Hope you enjoy it.
